“isn’t that your name, though? what should i call you?”

“gyu,” he huffs, sipping the water you hand him. it takes a while before he manages to down the glass, but once he’s done, he wraps his arms around your shoulders and rests his head on yours. you’re well and truly trapped under your boyfriend. “baby. love of my life. your life, i mean.”

“gyu,” you repeat, standing on your tiptoes and pressing a kiss to his cheek. he smells of alcohol, his perfume that you love so much, and the faint smell of cigarettes that are not his own. you know he’s going to want to take a shower even if he’ll deny it. “you feeling okay?”

“tired. head hurts a bit.”

“i’m sorry,” you frown, genuinely meaning it. “i think you should have a tablet before you sleep.”

his smile comes back, and you squish his cheeks together before you blow a small gust of air on his lips. the look of shock on his face prompts a grin on yours and you let go of him, preparing to run.

“hey!” he calls out. “come back! that’s so unfair!”

“love you, too!” you yell back. you’re going to attack him with kisses once you’re both under the covers.

Aro gets all smug and happy, making it a point to dramatically call you his wife very very loudly in a totally unnecessary setting. He's so happy and giddy, don't take this away from him. "Ewan!" The boy is getting on your nerves. "Would you come here and enjoy the sunset with me? Put your bloody phone down."

He doesn't listen. Predictable. "Juuust a couple more, babe. You look so beautiful in this light, wait til you see this." Standing a few feet to your right, he snaps photo after photo as you lay down on the sun lounger. Clad in nothing but your favourite swimwear, the one that got you in trouble the moment Ewan saw you in it.

The one that made you two late to your lunch reservation, causing the hostess to shoot daggers at you when you even dared to arrive. It didn't help that Ewan was pawing at you the whole time in front of her, nipping at your neck, still on a high from your untimely midday activities.

"I have seen the pictures," you say. "You've taken like 500 of them."

"I need a new wallpaper," he simply shrugs. "And my girl looks gorgeous all the time, can you blame me?"

"Smooth talker," you mumble, putting on your sunglasses to hide how flustered he can still make you feel.

It's your 2-year anniversary and he pulled no stops, surprising you with a holiday in Marbella. Everything was perfect - the beach, the villa, the local community. If only he would look around and enjoy it, but you're worried that his eyes are perpetually glued to you.
