random extremely minor botw detail of the day that could easily be incorporated into pre-calamity fics: according to one of the recipe books in the castle library, The Chancellor’s favorite of the royal family’s secret recipe’s is the Monster cake, which in the same book mentions that the dish can corrupt and cause one to be motivated to plan evil schemes. So obviously this pre-calamity Chancellor was clearly (or at least) rumored to be evil and could be a fun low effort antagonist.  

Mostly I get the vibes of when the game grumps were playing oot and when Zelda and Link were looking into the castle from the courtyard the joke, ‘just look at the way he slurps up his soup! slsdlsdldssl What an asshole!’
