I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate religious practice into my life & trying to get over the fear of being...annoying? If that's the right word? It feels a little like tugging on the gods' sleeves when I make more than one offering a day to them even though I know I'm not, like, being rude by *checks notes* giving them things or dedicating time/activities to them. Today I made a dessert in preparation for tomorrow's Pathfinder game and dedicated that time spent baking to Hestia and Aphrodite, and it was really nice! I feel like I'm starting to find my footing despite my worries. I'm also trying to make sure I take time where I'm not thinking about religion at all so that I don't start to ruminate/spiral. It's happened a few times already to varying degrees and it's! Not fun!

It's possible it's hindsight/confirmation bias, but I do think the vibes of my tarot deck changed when I started reaching out to the Greek deities. It makes sense: I was using my deck to reach out to a completely different deity/deities before I started exploring Hellenic polytheism. And it's definitely not in a bad way, just more energetic and...light? When before it was heavier (in a comforting way). I've gotten consistently coherent pulls, too, which is nice.

I've been trying to remember to pour a libation to Hermes at certain street corners when I'm out & about, but I have to make a game plan for when other people are also in the area, even if it's just psyching myself up so I don't look awkward while I do it. I have a pendant that I keep in front of his altar/shrine jar that I try to remember to take with me when I travel, and it's been cool having something in my pocket that's consistently reminding me of him because I check so often to make sure it's still there. There were some...issues with my commute on Monday (a true comedy of errors on the city's part) but the change in routine was a *lot* easier to handle in the morning. Of course, the unusually cool temperature helped, but I do accredit the smooth transition to Hermes because I wasn't stressed at *all* for the vast majority of my commute when I usually would have been wiped from the mental/sensory strain of having to pivot & kinda just hope I guessed right on what to do next. The commute home was a nightmare but I didn't have a whole-ass work day ahead of me after that so the stress didn't matter as much (and I was able to get through the last bus ride & walk from the stop which I wasn't sure I'd have the mental fortitude for).

I'm almost done with the statue of Hermes I've been working on, and I finished a set of alphabet oracle "stones" (squares made from air dry clay...would that technically be closer to potsherds?) tonight. I'll share a picture of them once I finish their bag- I have some leftover green cotton yarn from a recent project that I think will go well with them. We'll see how well they hold up, though I'm not planning on doing the "shake them until one falls out" method so hopefully they'll last a while. I worked on them in the living room this evening, instead of in my room. I'm getting more comfortable showing little elements of what I've been exploring to my housemates; it was nice to be able to sit & paint & listen to the iliad while my friend did his own thing next to me on the couch.

I'm still trying to figure out how to gauge each housemates' potential reactions. It'll probably be fine: friend 1 actively has an altar-esque space and uses tarot cards and a pendulum and friend 2 is friend 1's wife. I'm a bit worried about friend 3 being weird about it, at least at first, but considering he was experimenting with witchcraft-esque things a few years ago (I distinctly remember charms & him discussing which of the wheel of the year days he wanted to observe) I think I'm overthinking things. He's an atheist & his view of witchcraft was, at the very least, *similar* to the psych model, which I think is where the hesitation has been coming from on my end. I have therapy this weekend so I think I'll start bringing things up then. The office my therapist is in openly advertises all sorts of alt/witchcraft things so I think I'll be safe there lol

Something I forgot to mention in this post about 8th house synastry!! I've noticed for some reason this overlay tends to manifest more positively when the house person already has 8th house placements in their natal chart (not a guarantee tho). Ren could be a pretty well… unresponsive(?) person at times, to say the very least. he didn’t think too much of your clothing choices. if you felt comfortable, what was the problem? simple, there wasn’t one. he’s seen other girls before you wearing similar outfits so he’d never think much of it. that was until one time you were wearing a jean skirt and a small cropped black baby tee. you were standing on your tippy toes trying to reach for an item on the top shelf. due to the position you were in it caused for your shirt to rise up slightly exposing more skin than you usually did. he felt a quick blush spreading from his cheeks to the tip of his ears as the sucker he had in his mouth snapped from the pressure of him biting down too hard on it. he took a glance around his surroundings to ensure no one else was staring at you the same way he was. only he could look at you… he’s your boyfriend.

he made his way over to you in order to grab the item off the shelf so you can finally stop stretching out to reach it. you were slightly surprised to see him with a blush scattered across his face. it was a rare sight for you to see after-all. “hm? why you blushing Ren? something happen?” “no. just need another lolli is all.” it would be over Ren’s dead body if you ever found out why he had that blush. he’d rather die than ever let you know he got flustered over something so small.

Kiryu is very well aware of the hype surrounding crop tops and the fashion statement behind it. he’s all for your choices and even chooses some out for you. he’d most likely think something was wrong if you weren’t wearing one. he loved to see how confident and how much you shined while wearing one. seeing you be your glowing self made him happy. now whenever he entered a clothing store he’d find himself searching through the women’s section for crop tops in order to help you find more. he couldn’t help but think about you now whenever he saw a similar shirt to the ones you would wear.

you would often receive messages like “i think this would look really cute on you!” or “this reminded me of you.” from him with an image of a cute shirt attached to it. you’d usually respond by gushing over it and asking him where he found it. he had the best of luck finding such cute items. your wardrobe definitely grew for the best due to his help.

as a fashion guy himself Nirei totally understood the popularity in crop tops. his personal favorite that he loves to see you wear are baby tees. he loves how good you looked in them as they flatter your body. you’d most likely catch him a blush whenever you wore tight fitted crop tops. you even noticed that he particularly likes soft pastel colors (shades similar to baby pink or baby blue) on you with a deep neckline. of course your biggest indicator on knowing this was the way he would turn red as a tomato and stutter out “y-you look great! pretty! very cute!” as he struggled to find the words to compliment you without sounding like too much.

despite seeing other girls wearing similar clothes to you none of them ever managed to get the same reaction only you could get out of him. you found it to be endearing as it was obvious he only had eyes for you. Nirei always complimented your appearance and outfits. you would always send him selfies or mirror pics of your outfits everyday and he’d always rate you a 100000000/10 whenever you asked him what he thought.

Suo believed you looked good in anything. you’re hands down one of the most beautiful people he’s ever laid eyes on. he made his personal job to make sure you also knew this by nonstop complimenting you. he loved how girly some of the crop tops you wore looked like. especially when they had little designs like bows or cherries on them. his favorite part of you wearing crop tops were that he was able to feel the soft touch of your skin whenever he placed a hand around your waist. he felt like he was living in bliss by having your warm skin always be available to him. even though you never admitted it out loud to him you also enjoyed being able to feel his lotion soft hands on your body. you felt a massive comfort to it.

there were times where the two of you would even lay in bed together as you two took a nap and he’d caress your stomach with his thumb. it was definitely one of his favorite ways to kill time with you as he got to feel you be so close to him. sometimes he’d even listen to the sound of your heart beat while playing with the hem of your shirt.

Ume didn’t really understand why crop tops were so popular. yet again he didn’t really understand fashion at all. his mind was completely blank whenever it came to the subject so he never thought much about it. all he knew was that you looked good and that was enough for him. once again he thought you looked good in everything so take his opinion as you will. you could most likely get away with wearing a garbage bag with him around and he’d still think you look amazing. despite knowing so little about the fashion world he started to grow a bias towards cropped shirts as he got so used to you walking around his room with the cutest little shirts. even if you wore those same shirts out in public he never minded. especially if you were around him. he knew no one would ever dare try to say anything to you knowing you were his.

sure sometimes he got a tad bit worried about what others might say to you if he wasn’t around but he knew you could handle yourself. besides if worse came to worse he’d always come to your rescue like he promised himself he would.

Toga wasn’t much of a fashion guy himself but he could always admire beauty where it could be found and in his eyes it can most definitely always be found within you. he loved it whenever you wore cropped tops that showed off your piercing. he personally thought it was hot and incredibly attractive how you were so pretty and confident with whatever outfit you put together that day. he’d love to show you off with an arm around your waist. he loved knowing that everyone knew you were his just as much. Togame was confident in himself and in your relationship to never be bothered by any clothing. if some douche bag ever had the nerve or audacity to talk or even look at you sideways he’d be quick to check them himself. not that you couldn’t handle yourself, he would just much rather do it for you.

Togame made his job to ensure that you knew how beautiful you looked every time you wore one of your favorite shirts. he’d whisper sweet compliments into your ear while leaving you a loving kiss on the cheek. “you look so so good today sweetheart” was one of his personal favorite phrases to tell you in between rough kisses.

✨ Meryn would have found a way to quietly get back at Vanessa or treated her more harshly by now if BON-BON wasn't their friend. because he spoke about Vanessa in a dangerous way from the start, Meryn feels the need to run interference in case BON-BON accidentally exposes himself. initially they were also worried that he could genuinely harm Vanessa without understanding the gravity of it, but they trust him not to do that now

✨ Freddy speaks to BON-BON so naturally and casually that it lowers his guard. as a result, BON-BON frequently almost slips up and responds which privately really freaks him out

✨ there's an area of Sun and Moon's warm environment that has hot sand and stones, and pools of bubbling heated water fed from deep thermal vents. Moon doesn't mind a dip from time to time, but Sun absolutely loves to bask. sometimes he burrows into the warm sand and falls asleep with only the tips of his spinal fins visible

✨ Something Is Living In The Facility Vents

✨ it hasn't happened yet, but when Sun and Moon are offered bready type foods, they'll be repulsed by it because of the springy, fuzzy texture. it reminds them of fungi

✨ Chica's species of anthropomorphic aliens also has a set of teeth at the opening of the throat

✨ Meryn has fed Moon and now Sun so much food without asking for any in exchange, that Sun insists they need to return the favour. he keeps experimenting with meals and asking Moon what Meryn would like to eat, and getting annoyed that Moon has no answers other than "uhhh apple. uhhhhhh." Moon is just now realising that he has no idea what Meryn would prefer and suspects (correctly) that they've only started carrying food that he would like. he feels shamefully flustered over it

✨ Roxy is so cold towards Vanessa because she initially didn't like her, and they had to work to earn each other's respect and friendship. so Roxy sees Vanessa's recent behaviour as a backslide into old bad habits, and feels hurt and betrayed by it

Examples cuz I'm a nerd:

- one of the books called "Syzyfowe pracę (Sisyphean labors)" by Stefan Żeromski is autobiographical novel which described the school life under Russian occupation. One of the scenes I remember of off the top of my head is that in school children were secretly being taught Polish and one of the teachers had to stand guard outside the classroom

- Maria Skłodowska-Curie kept (most of the times) signing her name as Skłodowska-Curie and named the element she discovered Polonium. Poles often get annoyed when people just say Maria Curie because it erases the polish heritage she had and (most likely) tried to keep alive by signing with her maiden name and the name of the element, yes she was a french citizen but Poland wasn't on the map back then so she had to do it that way (<- dunno if I'm making sense sorry if not)

There are many other examples but that's not the point I'm trying to make. Back to Hetalia, I like to think that Feliks wasn't in a coma but lived in hiding, quietly fighting among humans, teaching the language and helping as much as he could. Of course he would have been much weaker, maybe chronically sick? (Which is what I head canon is happening to Gilbert, chronically sick and pretty weak) After all he was only alive in the hearts of his people

Personally, I like the idea of him being presumed dead, I mean most people wouldn't think a country that got wiped from the map 3 times one time for over 100 years would came back and yet here he was, sick yet still standing

{××TWO DAYS AGO!××} So FLASHBACK ✨

[Kuwabara was gone getting groceries when Hiei came over. Shizuru was reading a book and Hiei was just holding her in his arms, they were both in her bed enjoying the Silence when...]

Shizuru: We need to talk about something...

[Hiei looks down at the girl in his arms as she spoke]

A/N! Hey you! in case your wondering Shizuru is 5'4 or (5'5 I kinda Forgot°-°) and Hiei is 5'3 that's their CANNON height!°°

Hiei: sure what is it? (*he said bluntly*)

???Queen Marika Rant??? SUPER RAMBLE ✨ Part: 1

I love Queen Marika for all her flaws. She’s one hell of a complex character! I just wanted to ramble about the rollercoaster that is her mental health. In bite sized proportions (Not Really)

Childhood/Young Woman: Oh boy. So Queen Marika was a spirit medium/shaman/priestess etc. I think the Japanese word is Itako? They’re blind women who serve as mediums between kanmi and dead. Anyway, Marika presumably grew up in a village of only women, led by an elderly grandmother figure! Perhaps the capital G Grandmother was an elder or perhaps she was a spirit! Since Marika prays to the statue/corpse of this woman who neatly resembles Marika herself embedded within an old tree. Maybe ancestral invocation? How cool, right?! She grew up in the Lands Between, especially close to the Crucible granted Marika initiated the Erdtree and its corresponding Order. Anyway, so she was a shaman girl living in a small village upon a cliff meadow, the “hidden land” (eng as Hinterland). Potentates of the Hornsent would kidnap these spirit mediums and torture and mutilate them so that their infected flesh could serve as a binding agent with the stuffed not-cadavers of those deemed as criminals or heretics by the Hornsent. The Hornsent saw the shamans as cattle, really. Maybe they used spiritually sensitive people as glue to purify the criminals? Hence rebirth as a “good person” aka Saint in eng. So, Marika was a shamanistic ascetic whose people were killed! The calm and gentle Marika now has vengeance in her heart.

Empyrean: Marika’s Empyrean years are vague. Or perhaps I’m stupid. No one will ever know… Anyway, Marika’s village was literally next to Finger Ruins, which is crawling with the transhumanist worshippers of Metyr. Not to mention a literal star beast alien crashed by. Because Mother Metyr was broken, so were her children. I guess the Fingers were to spread the direct orders and thoughts of the Greater Will throughout the realm of man, but their connection got cut and are running on half baked or out of date data. I don’t know how Marika met the Fingers, but these envoys of the Greater Will clearly wanted to exert their influence over the girl. All an Empyrean is is someone with god candidacy as decreed by the Fingers. This just happens to only exist in a semi-hereditary capacity which isn’t a bad idea. Manipulate the entire bloodline, y’know? The wet nurse of Godwyn was literally an interpreter of the Fingers. Anyway, the Fingers gave Marika the title of Empyrean and gave her a young wolf named Maliketh who would serve her unwaveringly. The Japanese word for him makes him sound like a non-blood relative who merely plays the part of little brother. So she has corrupt esoteric backers, a cool dog, but now what? Did she meet Hoarah Loux too during this time? Ehhh, I don’t know and I don’t care. Marika however did eventually travel to Belurat and presumably lived there amongst the Hornsent. She was a girl with vengeance in her heart and with the Fingers backing her, a little bit of ambition was probably starting to burn within. But her stay amongst the Hornsent was… peaceful? Her betrayal only came about after she became the figurehead of a continent spanning theocracy. The burning and shadowing was a later thing. Marika being a spirit medium and god candidate probably made her similar to the Hornsent who also sought to become local gods and took spirits into their forms. The Hornsent held the Gates of Divinity as a secret but once Marika was born anew as a god atop that tower, the secret came to light. It’s my personal theory that Marika seduced the Hornsent, became a super power whilst leaving them behind on vague terms, only to come back and purge them on the justification that they were a graceless people not unlike other crucible beasts and folk, while secretly being fueled by her vengeful trauma, which she used her basket case of a son to become the poster child of. Which is funny because the Hornsent revered Gold. Marika just took what they started with their reverence of trees, gold, light and ran with it. The crucible was already there so like, hijack it Queen ✨ and mama did! So yeah, Empyrean Marika was probably both vengeful and increasingly ambitious, but used her charisma and gentle promises to seduce the superstitious clergy of Belurat into gaining Godhood. I’m pretty sure it’s said that Gold and Shadow were born when Marika became a God? I don’t even know anymore HA. When young Marika inherited the powers of Gold, this is was before she decided to establish a government or laws. It was just gentle gold that would heal others. So now you have this beautiful, half naked, spiritually sensitive woman with healing powers, a newfound god complex, fear of death, a cool wolf, and was being fed whack advice by oversized appendages from space who claim to serve the creator of existence. Godfrey went AWOOOOOGA.

Young God: Marika gets the Elden Ring somehow, but that’s besides the point. Marika in her early reign was a blind fanatic, which she admits to later on. She never questioned the Fingers and whole heartedly became a believer and waring fanatic who would have you exiled or killed if you did not conform to her Order. But this was also an era of growth and prosperity which had an affect on Marika’s public image — she was a motherly goddess of gifts and blessings, giving sap and grace to peeps like it’s their birthdays. Of course Marika didn’t do too much. She had a divine power backing her, evil wolf, and really good public speaking skills. So many people want to demonize Marika and yes, she’s an unforgivable person who’s probably worse than her Hornsent oppressors, but Godfrey, her loyal husband, fed off the violence of war and believed in Marika. Aiding if not leading genocides by her whim. She wanted to establish a new world order of eternal life, of gold, of abundance, but she had to acquire a lot of land and kill a lot of people to do that. GET GOOD MIQUELLA. Aint even original my guy. Marika’s childhood trauma likely very much influenced her decision to lock away death and render her family immortal. She already lost one family. Time to make this one long lived and powerful! So yeah, Marika matured into a charismatic leader who inspired fanatical legions, blindly following the Fingers, and later becoming a goddess of benediction and as well as a wife and mother. So much pressure on this woman. Not to mention she uh, locked her wolf brother in the closest to never come out again. Uncle Maliketh became the boogeymen to which all of Marika’s children would know to fear. She wasn’t above doing horrible things if it meant securing her idealist kingdom. Again, get original Miquella. Funnily enough Marika was also implied to be a mischievous person. Her statuary makes her look like either a warrior goddess or maternal figure wity a burden upon her shoulders, but young Marika would use her magic veil to shape shift and play pranks on people. Isn’t that fun? God I LOVE multifaceted characters. Blonde female religious figures are my favorite gender.

Headcanons:

Despite not being the type of girl he usually goes for, it eventually dawns on him that she is the kind of girl he needs in his life: someone who is not afraid to call him out on his behavior and keeps him grounded.

If anyone is being mean towards Leon, Celeste will flip out. While Leon is usually intimidated by her freak-outs, he finds it strangely attractive when he's not in the receiving end, especially to protect him.

Leon isn't interested in most strategic games, but once he gives it a shot, it brings out his competitive nature, which Celeste admires greatly. Their main game of strategy together could be throwing darts.

Celeste finds Leon foolish but intriguing. Often comparing him to "a car crash that you can't look away from."

When Leon develops feeling for Celeste, his new dream is to serve and prove his worth to her. Also, Leon would love to spoil her with gifts whenever he can (as long as it doesn't require too much legwork.)

Since they both approve of getting the Project Zombie gift with the description of: A former runway model takes zombies as slaves in a post-apocalyptic world, they could play video games with similar themes like that together.

Beneficial Similarities:

Neither of them conform to what society expects of them. They prefer to do their own thing and don't really care what others have to say about it.

They are both dead-set on their dreams, even if others might said dreams to be overly ambitious and/or unrealistic. In fact, they were so set on their ambitions that they were some of the most desperate characters to escape to the point of becoming sacrificing another person's life to escape. Only difference is that Leon's dreams often change, especially depending on the girl he's interested in at that moment.

Both of their Trigger Happy Heart events share similar themes of them secretly worrying about other people they care finding them weird for their dreams and true feelings. That could potentially be something they could mutually relate to.

Complementary Strengths:

Being with Leon more and more would likely bring out a more laid-back side of Celeste and, ironically enough, her sense of adventure and the thrill of it.

When I mentioned Celeste keeping Leon grounded, I mean in the sense that her practicality and more reserved demeanor (in most cases at least) could sometimes bring Leon back to Earth when he just rushes into things without thinking.

Main Struggles:

Because of their differences in lifestyles, behavior, hobbies, and so forth, this could easily cause disagreements and instability.

They are both self-centered.

Leon tends to go from girl to girl and not commit.

Family, Friends, Pets:

Nothing is known about Celeste's family and she doesn't seem to have any friends. The closest living being in her life is her beloved cat, Grand Bois Chéri Ludenberg. I picture Leon and Grand Bois disliking each other at first; Leon would see him as spoiled and boring, and Grand Bois would not see him as worthy for acknowledgment or affection. As time goes by they would end up getting closer, especially if Leon would give him treats (only the *best* treats would do), but they would still annoy each other every now and then.

Leon is presumably close with his family, but he especially cares about his younger cousin Kanon (in what way is uncertain, but he usually refers to her as a sister type.) Given Kanon's obsessed taboo feelings towards Leon, she wouldn't approve of him and Celeste being together. She and Celeste would likely have a pretty indifferent relationship since they don't really have anything in common and Celeste would most likely find her behavior and way of speaking annoying, but their relationship has a high chance of turning chaotic when they would be forced to be around each other and Kanon provokes her about Leon.

Since they are both in the same class at Hope's Peak, their friends/acquaintances from that class would be mutual and familiar for the both of them.

Expressing Their Love:

Leon would likely try so hard to impress Celeste with his skills to the point he would embarrass himself, and Celeste would likely find his attempts both charming and humorous.

Celeste would likely make playful quips, play hard to get, and involve him in her activities in some sort of way. The closer they get, the more her true self is revealed, but only private between the two of them.

I picture their mutual love language involving a lot of snarky remarks and tongue-in-cheek compliments.

Ashen "Sharp" the Wolf

Another @sonic-oc-showdown bracket means it's time for a new pinned where I ramble about my OC!

I do have a "Sharp" tag on my blog so check that out if you want, but here's where I'll be answering some questions about him in case you don't wanna dig through tagged shitposts and art with little context!

Bellow the cut I will be answering a bunch of OC questions, so it could get rather long!

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

Which one? 😂 He actually has 3 names--

Delan- his birth name. Nowadays only his romantic partner knows that name. That one popped into my brain so there's no special story behind it.

Ashen- The name he gave himself. I tried to think up a name an angry teen might come up with since that was where he was at when he gave himself the name. One idea for a name like that was 'Fenix'- a play on how he would've wanted the name for a creature that rises from the ashes, but with the wrong spelling since he didn't know how to spell 'Phoenix' properly. But that didn't quite fit in my mind, so he got named after the ashes a phoenix might rise from.

Sharp- originally it was his temporary name since I needed to call him SOMETHING while coming up with a name. But then I grew attached to it and kept it. In-universe it's his nickname because the resistance-not knowing his name- found it easier to refer to him by a nickname to warn people that he's coming rather than 'HEY THAT GUY WITH THE SHARP METAL CLAWS IS COMING'. It saves time SHGDHS

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)

It depends on which part of the story things take place (I have a few aus where things diverged at specific points in his life)

While he was still a runaway living outside he was 11-15

While still working with Eggman he was 16-18

And after he ran from there, or 'present' time he's 18-20 depending on how early or late in the story it is

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Yes! Percy- who belongs to @hesfromsomewhere

Sharp and him went from enemies (one sided on Sharp's end) to secretly hanging out since Percy works for the resistance. Up until Percy got captured by Eggman, and Sharp chose to rescue him and run away to take him to the resistance. Initially Sharp was just going to leave him with them, but then he got captured by them a day or two later. Percy then very slowly built a bridge of trust between Sharp and the resistance faction he was a part of- though even if that hadn't happened they were determined to stay by each other's side. Things eventually developed into romance after that.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Pie! Any kind of pie, really. Sharp loves homemade foods in general. But there's just something about baked goods, and especially pie, that strikes him as The homemade meal that he always wanted to try, and then eventually got to

💼 - What do they do for a living?

His initial job really Was for a living, working under Eggman. He really took that up because it'd provide him with a roof over his head and steady meals. To him the bonus was that Eggman is the type of person that wouldn't pretend like he Isn't disposable. There would be no attempts at fake friendships there.

Nowadays he works with the restoration, trying his best to get used to being around people and helping out. Down the line the faction he's in will split off from the restoration, and become more like a group of mercenaries akin to the original Diamond Cutters

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

He likes playing video games! Initially they served as something to get his frustrations out on. The still kinda serve that purpose, but he also plays them when he's relaxed, and he's learning to play more games with friends.

🎯 -What do they do best?

If he was asked he'd answer that he's the best at fighting. It's what he's had to do most of his life, and he's kind of out of his element once he joins the resistance where he doesn't really have to do that as much anymore. Especially since even when he Does fight he'll get asked to retreat all because the people there care whether he lives or dies.

He's pretty hard on himself in other aspects. He's pretty good at cooking, but he does best when doing so over an open fire. So he views his learning attempts at using a stove as failures.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Loves: Playing video games, spending time with loved ones, eating good homemade food, walks in the rain, seeing peoples faces whenever he proves he's more than they think of him. Also dancing but don't tell anyone.

Hates: Being around too many people, getting ordered around, backing down or retreating in general, having to confront people taller than him, being Perceived

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

The night he realized that despite everything, someone did come for him and took him in. Just not the way he expected.

Him and Percy weren't romantically involved yet, but they slept in the same bed anyway. It'd become a habit after Percy's stay in the infirmary. And after they got to go off in their separate rooms, Sharp found he was too anxious to sleep on his own after everything, in a place full of people he didn't know and that he believed hated him (and to be fair, some did)

He woke up one night with Percy clinging to him. And it kind of hit him that he finally had someone that cared about what happened to him. And someone that felt like home. Both things he'd pretty much given up on ever having at that point in his life, but he'd gotten them anyway.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

Ashen has a Lot of bad memories but the one that really haunts him nowadays is when Eggman captured Percy. He was locked up in a pod, intended to be used as a living battery since he's a being made of Chaos Energy. Sharp waited to see if anyone from the resistance would show up to save him (he still views this as a big mistake on his part)

But once the machine was activated, the decision to make a move and defy Eggman was pretty much made for him. He still has nightmares about hearing Percy scream and watching his form start to shift thanks to the energy getting sapped from him.

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Kind of!

His design has stayed relatively the same, it just got more refined. I got the hang of drawing his hair, and his ears are a darker color now instead of being the same as his main fur color. He's also gotten beefier. He also lost the cheek markings bellow the eye pretty fast, I think I got rid of them after the first 2 drawings of him.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Honestly I just wanted to go back to my roots and make a wolf character. Other than that, me and my friend wanted to make some OCs that worked on opposing sides during Forces thatd end up being together by the end.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

I said this last time too but I don't really slot my OCs into genres SHDGSH. I guess just. Sonic? Adventure with a side of shonen? Sharp kinda fits the shonen anime vibe, with his strongest asset being his willpower, making him get up every time he gets knocked down.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

He's a cis man, and he's probably demisexual/demiromantic, though he labels himself as gay. He just doesn't have/know the words for demi, but he knows what gay is, and he's always fallen for boys and masc presenting people. Though the few times Percy goes for a more femme presenting form, he's noted there's no lack of attraction there. But it hasn't really spurred him on to investigate if there's any other label he could apply to himself. He just thinks 'I'm in love with Percy. And no matter what for he takes he's still Percy, and that's who I'm in love with'

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

He never had any biological siblings! But later on him and Riley (also belonging to @hesfromsomewhere) adopt each other as brothers

He's a chinchilla that's also part of the resistance. And he was a runaway, so he very much understands what Sharp has gone through in life.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

Absolutely horrid. They're dead to him, even if he's unsure if they're actually dead. He sure hopes they are.

They're why he's mostly thrown away his birth name. They gave it to him. He doesn't belong to them, and he saw taking up a new name as a show that he only belongs to himself.

They really only had him to insure they had a heir that'd take up their business one day. They were very strict, and were pretty much never pleased with Ashen. Everything he did had to be flawless- and that's impossible. They're a big reason for him running away from home.

Once he joined Eggman and was allowed to unleash legions of badniks to attack as he pleased, one of the first things he did was lead a raid to his old hometown. He saw to it that the house he grew up in was burned to ashes. He never caught sight of his parents so he doesn't know what actually became of them, but he doesn't care.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I like how silly he can get. His short temper can be both a source of drama, but also of silly moments. Because sometimes he gets so caught off guard that he doesn't know how to react other than with frustration.

And I just like his type of character. Someone kind of jaded that has to deal with wanting to become a better person, and the softness that comes out of those efforts.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

Very often! He's on my mind a lot, and I have several AUs with him. He's one of the characters I draw and write about the most other than Storm and Atos

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

Nnno I get too sad at things like that HSGDHS

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Despite his love of rain, he gets really stressed out and scared when it comes to really bad storms, with loud thunder and especially with strong winds. The winds stress him out more than the thunder and he hates the sound of it. His fear was more evident when he was younger. He's gotten good at hiding it, but someone that knows him well can notice the way he's tensed up while a storm like that is happening.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

His (one sided) arch-nemesis/rival WAS Percy, until they became friends.

An antagonist that pops up here and there in their story is Echo (owned by @hesfromsomewhere )

He's a tasmanian devil, and a hacker that lost everything to the war with the Eggman Empire. Once he finds out Sharp works for it, he attempts to kill him. Their paths cross again later, and even though Sharp no longer works for Eggman, that doesn't matter to Echo.

🎓 - How long have you had the OC?

I think I've had him since 2019, if not late 2018!

🍥 - What age were you when you created the OC?

“School for little vampires” fans! Is there any chance at all of reviving this fandom? And I mean not only in terms of popularity but also in terms of the continuation of this show itself. For example, the creation of a film, game, comic book or even anime based on it. And it doesn’t matter if some studio or the fans themselves do it. Since the idea of ​​this animated series itself has enormous potential for popularity. Why do I think so? Okay, here are some facts why:

The main characters are children/teenagers. And this is already the main sign for success. Love relationships between characters. SHIPS. And there are plenty of them in this cartoon. After all, there is a main couple in this cartoon-Oskar and Sunshine. Well, like in other fandoms, there are various disputes and disagreements over couples, the main ones being OskarXSunshine and OskarXGothetta. That’s it. The presence of a couples in animated series also greatly influences its popularity. Since they are an integral part of discussions in fandom.

Interesting characters with their own personalities. The more the creators of the cartoon show other characters and their character traits, the more interesting the show will be and will attract not only children but also more adult audiences. For example, what I remember most about this cartoon is Stoker and his constant dirty tricks. The show was completely different without him. I can definitely say that Stoker is a REAL troublemaker. I especially like his relationship with Oscar. They often argue and even fight, but I wouldn’t call them enemies either. In a word, they are frenemies✨. And I just love it. Usually such versatile characters are found in cartoons and anime. After all, it is there that such categories of characters are found: the main character, the quiet one (in this case the main character is the quiet one), the best friend who is secretly in love with the main character, the nerd, the bully, the youngest of all, the oldest of all.

This is a show about vampires. Many people like to read or watch something about vampires. And usually they involve love between a vampire and a human, which is a favorite cliche of many.

In the end, I want to say that this show has great potential for popularity. Well, if you consider that many people like to create anime based on vampires, it’s quite strange that no one decided to just take on the idea of ​​​​creating an anime about vampire children who study at school. The Sign - Ep 3

So much happened in this episode! (Although I might have missed something because half of the ep I was suffering from a serious case of second-hand embarrassment, because they were filming the series among ordinary people in tourist places and these people were staring and I was dying of embarrassment 💀).

I have to admit, jealous, stressed Phaya was great. I like a good portrayal of possessiveness and Phaya is good at it because he's not violent in his jealousy, just more worried ✨

It was good to see Phaya in a different environment, it turns out he lives in a palace and is an artist, like a prince. So this making out in red paint in a studio scene, it still COULD be Phaya/Tharn 👀

I really liked the fact that the series didn't drag on any threads. Ooooh mysterious amulet? Abbot: this amulet was given to you by Tharn 😀 end of story. Already in this episode there are glimpses of their previous lives, they are already returning to their team, good pacing, stuff is being talked about, explained, discussed. Other series - please take notes!

My beloved Tharn, pretending not to want to be with Phaya, at the same time perfectly attuned to his mood and behavior. Always thinking about him and worrying about him 🥺 Tharn is visibly stressed, he wants to give in to Phaya, everyone around him is encouraging him to do so, but he is so afraid. I really liked their sparring scene: Tharn - stressed, tense, lashing out. Nervous and then sexual tension in this scene, Phaya relaxed when he finally sees Tharn and that he is fine, he doesn't push because he notices that Tharn is not himself, that he reacts differently. Phaya allows him to take it out on himself, also he knows that this is the best way to convince Tharn - by giving him a choice, an opportunity to fight, not making arguments and forcing him. Phaya won, he gained, not forced contact with Tharn. And it works, because Tharn is distracted from his worries, and he turns from a stressed little cat, into a predatory cat on the hunt (you can literally see the moment of his transformation and when the stress comes off him, replaced by something else 🔥). I love Phaya in this scene, how he controls himself and the situation. He could have led it in any direction, but he stopped because he had achieved his goal. Phaya is so cool, I love how pushy he is at the right moments and how he withdraws at others.

I liked showing their relationships with family and friends, I loved Tharn and Sand. "Aways finding excuses when I ask you about girls" omg girl lol. It's also cool that Tharn and Phaya are so cute together, but it gets me every time when they are like two bro dudes together lmao this is such a whiplash 😂

Team leader, please lead me 😍 Happy to see his pretty face, he's so strict and professional. I would love to see him in a relationship with someone.

Tharn…gosh, but he's SO BEAUTIFUL. I can't stop looking at him. This episode especially spoiled me, so many scenes, so many versions of Tharn, each more beautiful than the previous one, at the pool (I appreciate that he didn't have long shorts and that his speedos were red), with a wig, even slightly unkempt with his hair not perfectly done in the temple scenes, Tharn always looks like a million dollars ✨ (but I have to ask, isn't Babe standing on a box, or at least on his tiptoes, in some scenes? because that's so cute)

The Kiss - how is it, that it wasn't a full make-out session, but it was still one of the sweetest, most natural kisses I've ever seen? 💖 The chemistry between Billy and Babe and the fact that they clearly have no problems with physical closeness and intimacy, hm?

I like that Wansarat is shown as male, at least that's how I understood it. Wild theory time! Wansarat secretly met with Sakuna, even though he shouldn't (these are hostile deities?), Sakuna was punished, he could have died and Wansarat saved him by doing something wrong, maybe killing someone, for which he pays in subsequent incarnations. Wansarat may also have been promised to another serpent deity (Chalothon) who truly loved/wanted him and now this deity wants Wansarat back in the form of Tharn. End of wild theory time.

Phaya has completely abandoned all pretenses and openly says that he likes Tharn and kisses him in his own house. He's such a freak, I love him 😍

Still bored, so here are some random BC fanfic ideas I've been playing with for a while but will never write due to a variety of reasons (so they are free to use!) ✨

1) Joel/Joonas with Joel being ace/aro and oblivious to Joonas being hopelessly in love with him (or maybe he does know but he just pretends he doesn't because he has no idea what to do about it). Bonus points if Joonas gets together / fools around with Niko and it works as a distraction quite nicely, until it doesn't (cue Niko being a good friend and calling it quits himself when he understands the true state of affairs and encouraging Joonas to do something or the very least tell Joel about his feelings, even if nothing would ever come out of it, because Joel deserves to know and, most of all, Joonas deserves to move on 😔)

2) A massage therapist AU in which Joonas is a masseur and Tommi his client. Tommi gets an awkward surprise boner during a massage and Joonas is bold enough to mention that they do also offer, ummm, erotic massages as well, in case Tommi is interested 😏 It takes Tommi a few more visits (and awkward boners (because maybe he's also developing a crush on his nice-looking masseur)) until Tommi finally books a prostate massage, and oh my oh my! 💦 his whole world turns upside down as he comes untouched by Joonas' skilful hands 😳 He's hooked from the very first prostate orgasm of his life and becomes a regular, with 2-3 weekly sessions booked, and he gets excited about them in the morning already (maybe a little too excited, if you get the gist 😌), and maybe eventually he manages to ask Joonas out 💕 (also inluded in this AU: Olli/Allu as Joonas' co-workers who are also boyfriends/husbands and use each other's massage rooms for their personal "sessions" at the end of the workday, yes very unprofessional I know 🥰)

3) Some sort of historical AU, with Olli as some kinda royalty or a nobleman or just a rich person in general, the rebel of his family however, having a secret fling with Aleksi the merchant's son. Cue lots and lots of flirting at the marketplace and passionate sex / rough fucking wherever and whenever, but tragically, Olli in this AU is also a bit of a fuckboy and manages to piss off Aleksi and/or make him jealous by acting unnecessarily touchy-feely with someone at the tavern. Aleksi gives him the silent treatment (picture him just silently working at his market stall ignoring Olli's flirting and his pleas). Heartbroken by this, Olli gets a little too drunk at the tavern and ends up in some kind of trouble from which Aleksi saves him (all the while sighing at his idiot boyfriend 🙄). The next morning in Aleksi's modest bedroom/house, Aleksi tries his best to maintain the cold shoulder attitude (because he is still kinda mad at Olli), but he fails horribly when Olli catches him staring and starts teasing him about it like the smug bastard he is 🥰 Also, an extremely important visual from this AU is Olli in a white, loose shirt whenever possible 🥵

4) A while back I was also thinking about another historical AU (because I looooooove historical AUs and period dramas 💖) about Niko being some kinda clergyman, a cantor perhaps, and Joonas a homeless person Niko made acquaintance with in the breadline, but sadly I can't remember too many details about this one 🤔 I guess Niko just starts doing a little extra to help out Joonas, and it's up for you to decide whether it's "helping him out" as in offering him food and maybe a roof above his head (secretly letting him stay overnight inside the church when the weather's too rough to sleep outdoors), or "helping him out" as in fucking him in the candlelit organ loft after the evening Mass 😌 Isn't the latter such a romantic image though? It's pitch black and stormy outside, the entire church is dark except for the candles they lit up on the organ loft, some old tapestry as their mattress (a holy relic, Niko later learns as he overhears the vicar and the sexton wonder about the strange stains on it 🤨), the sounds of their lovemaking echoing in the church... 🥺

5) I can't remember the pairing for this next one 🤔 Joonas was the other but I can't remember who the other was, so I'll leave it up for you to decide or suggest who'd be the best match for Joonas in this! Anyhow, an AU in which Joonas and Person B are neighbours, acquaintances and maybe crushing on each other a little, but not properly friends or anything like that. Mostly when they talk to each other it's because of Joonas' cute fluffy dog which Person B loves petting (and while he's at it he may as well exchange a word or two with the fluffy-haired owner 🥰). Person B is a little lonely and these interactions mean the world to him, but he's too shy/intoverted to actually ask Joonas to hang out other than in the hallway or front yard of their apartment building. One day, Person B sees Joonas going in his apartment without the dog, which he finds unusual, and through the paper-thin walls he hears Joonas sob his heart out. Worried, Person B goes knocking on Joonas' door to see if he's alright, and he finds a heartbroken Joonas telling him the dog had fallen suddenly ill and had to be put down that morning 😭 Person B steps in to comfort Joonas through the night, and so their budding friendship begins to bloom and maybe eventually turn into something more 💕 (now that I typed this it sounds all a little familiar but I can't put my finger on it if I've actually read this in a fic before 🤔 so I'm sorry if I copied someone's idea, it was not my intention!)

6) Okay this one I could write but won't because 1) I already wrote something similar, and 2) I don't want to portray Olli and Aleksi as some kinda horny and selfish cheaters, and if you don't want to even imagine that kind of things about them I suggest you stop reading now, and anyway PLEASE remember this is only fic talk, but ggghhghggghgaaaaahhhhggg I just can't stop imagining them hanging out in Aleksi's studio (late at night) and eventually one thing leads to another (wine may or may not be involved) and they end up kissing while Aleksi's spouse is upstairs 😭 maybe they even get interrupted by the spouse calling for them from outside the door or something and they'd sort of snap out of it and realise what they've done. Now there are a couple of the different scenarios for what could happen next (the 'evil' in this is the author):

neutral good: they realise they're in love with each other and peacefully break up with their spouses and live happily ever after 💞

chaotic good: they realise they're in love with each other and peacefully break up with their spouses who also somehow fall in love with each other (peer support turns into something more? 😌) and they ALL live happily ever after 🥰

chaotic neutral: they freak out and Olli immediately goes home (he lives nearby) and it's awkward for a while between them but eventually things go back to normal. They never speak about the kiss and pine for each other until the end of their days, never knowing if the other actually feels the same 💔

lawful evil: they freak out and Olli immdediately goes home and it's awkward for a while between them until it happens again and again and a couple of times more until they realise it's wrong and they should stop and then they pine for each other until the end of their days, fully aware the feeling is mutual 😭

neutral evil: they start fooling around behind their spouses' backs until they get caught by Aleksi's spouse (who, tbf, had began suspecting something by then; the amount of time they spent at the studio was getting a little to o suspicious). To make it extra evil, maybe the spouse doesn't even walk in on them but sees them through the window of Aleksi's studio and doesn't even do anything about it at first, deciding to give Aleksi multiple chances to spill it himself (as if that would change anything now the damage has already been done) 🫣

chaotic evil: Olli is staying at Aleksi's that night (he lives in Oulu) and they are forced to act normal while having dinner upstairs with Aleksi's spouse 💀
