He hates being intimidating. But slouching is impolite, according to noble society. Puck disagrees with this entirely. Terrifying everyone in the room is impolite; curling in on himself, for the sake of others' comfort, seems far more polite to him.

❝ And this is uncomfortable. ❞ He gestures to the fancy suit currently on his person. It looks nice; he won't deny that, but he can barely move in it at all. ❝ What if someone gets murdered & I can't chase the killer because my clothes are too stiff ？❞

Leave it to Puck to think about death at every opportunity. As if he wouldn't simply tear his clothes off.

❝ I can't even wear my hat ��？Look at my hair. No one will take me seriously. ❞ He gestures to the dog-like cowlicks on top of his head. No amount of hair product could tame them. They always popped back up after a few minutes.

His seemingly petty complaints cover up a much larger, much more embarrassing issue. He's not good with crowds. Not good with small talk. Or social norms. Or being sane. He's ⸻ Well, he's nervous. Scared. Mortified.

gods at least besides everything else that has been going So Wrong, Suzy has been doing so SO much better

#my life #my cats #she's more energetic than she's been in at least a full year #like I would have gladly taken 'improved since the hospital to pre hospital levels and better bloodwork'#but she's excitedly hanging out looking out windows #and runs up and down the stairs again #and she's been jumping up onto the table a BUNCH from the floor even #she'd been using the drawers to jump over when she did go up which was way more rare #she does a little dance when she trots around sometimes #like I can't believe I didn't notice she wasn't doing all this before #I just thought she was a bit sleepier in the winter time #and/or adjusting to the move less than ideally #but no we didn't just Save Her Life and are helping Prolong It A Lot with meds #it's clearly Improved The Quality So Much #and I'm so glad we were able to do that for her at least

{ OOC } Anon, I'm so glad you asked this! 'Cause now I get to ramble on about it. Hands down, favorite horror movie is the entirety of the Scream Franchise. It's been my favorite horror movie since I was a wee wittle baby (I first watched it at 4-5 years old xD), it's the one movie I can watch over and over again, no matter how many times I've watched it.

I think I've watched it so much I can quote it from memory xD

Though, I do gotta say, I don't like the fourth installment of it, mostly because when it first came out, it tried doing a poor job of rebooting the franchise and I just couldn't get into it at the time. Now, when I watch it back, it's a good movie, only because of the last three movies that came after it, which helps it, in a way. But before then, it just didn't hold up. Not like the original trilogy.

The first movie, though, will always be iconic. Billy and Stu will forever be my favorite Ghostface killers. They're both fucked up and had lame motives, but that's the beauty of it. They aren't supposed to be these mastermind villains who have it all figured out. They're just angry teens who've watched too many horror movies and think they can recreate it if they put enough elbow grease into it. Which, surprise, surprise, it doesn't go well. And that's what I love about it.

Plus Sidney Prescott is the best final girl. Each movie, she gets more and more traumatized, but just like the final girls before her, she gets through it and she fights her way into living out the horrors. I love her so much as a character and she's just really cool!!
