always thinking about how brilliant martin and malcolm's relationship is written in the show because martin is really just there in every section of malcolm's life he's got no escape. with his family and his career and his love life and everything, even if malcolm decided to quit and uproot his life and move to the middle of nowhere or something he'd STILL see martin everywhere because for him martin is like synonymous with evil. every thing that makes him feel bad reminds him of martin.

It’s really the best part of the show, it’s also so sad to think about! Martin really has so much control over his son’s life and we saw that he could never really get away even when he moved to DC to be in the FBI.
