Personally, when I created the writeup I have on my blog giving a brief rundown of my blog in the description it was less of a "don't interact because I don't know how/refuse to use a block button" in the sense described here and more intended as what I originally thought a DNI was supposed to be:

If you can't critically consume fictional media and don't have anything substantial to say in your critical consumption, I don't have time for you so save your breath and mine and go back to your purity cult. Also if you're under 18 this blog is not for you. I am an adult and don't wish to have minors running around pretending like we're all chill with having kids on a blog with adult-only content actually when I don't kmow you exist or haven't been told in some way that you shouldn't be here despite how clear I've made it that this is an adult-only space. Leave.

And if I find out you're any of these types of people I WILL be curating my internet experience by blocking you."

You know? There are different ways to use DNIs that aren't "fuck you no you put all the effort in to not expose me to you" and are instead intended more like "Hey look interact if you want but I'm warning you that you're wasting your time long term if you think you can be shitty to real life people right in front of my salad, so to save us both the hassle I'm leaving it up to you specifically because I have no idea you exist and can't block you until I do so feel free to take that first step since you know we won't gel and you know I exist while I have not yet had the displeasure."

That said, people definitely shouldn't put real life issues next to fandom preferences and gripes. It defangs serious real world issues by trying to take the fangs off them and slap them directly onto the fictional things to lend credence to them because the person doing it doesn't know how to express their discomfort well enough to feel heard about it/expect people to dismiss anything they say out of hand so they grab whatever closest thing from real world issues already considered serious which could kind of fit if you do a handstand and squint through a cloud of steam. Which has the opposite effect, because now people are (rightfully) angry at them for trivialising real world issues to make people treat their perspective on fictional media seriously.

If you know how to criticise media and/or make sure you know the difference between actually potentially harmful handling of a theme within fictional media vs something made you uncomfortable and you want to express it and feel heard as part of processing it but don't know how, then you probably won't feel as strong of - if any - need to play up what you have a problem with. Because a) you know how to express your position to get people to listen to you, b) don't need strangers on the internet to validate you to know you're right because you're versed in identifying and talking about how to fix this problem in media causing potential harm to a marginalised group or otherwise teaching potentially harmful perspectives and here's why... and c) you know when something is just bothering you personally and probably have some healthier copes for it, like ranting into the void on your own post without using any main fandom tags and/or ranting to your friends and/or writing fix-it fic and or- you get the gist.

The day we start doing more of that is the day this whole 'anti-shipper' and responding 'pro-shipper' thing will probably calm down a little bit.

i don't respect DNIs not in the sense i go out of my way to break them but in the sense that i don't respect DNIs as a concept and consider them to be something of a red flag in general.

i'm not sure how to explain it but it's the combination of usually putting very serious issues on the same level as fandom stuff, the fact that half the time people don't even know what they're against beyond 'the bad stuff' therefore even further watering these issues down, and the idea that other people are expected to manage your online existence for you.

there's a passiveness to it that i think is actually a problem and it does not surprise me in the slightest that people with DNIs tend to view what media they consume as activism. do you get what i'm saying.

Lukola friends - these aren't the only Anons to reach out to me these past days, but they'll be the only ones I'm going to respond to publicly. I decided to share evidence of their troll campaign so that you could rest easy in the knowledge that the Lutonia's (edited to add: and Jakolas [see P.S. below]) are panicked. They saw what we saw at the BOSS event and the pieces don't fit their "hot couple in love" narrative.

A situation that didn't make sense given the lack of contact between Antonia & Luke since the end of July,

A petrified Antonia who wasn't professionally styled, as though she wasn't a priority,

An angry and disgruntled Luke who cast Antonia's hand aside, then looked like he wasn't happy to be photographed with her,

Luke's eventual (3 days later) black screened IG story with a black heart (macabre!) and a link that required two navigation clicks to get to TT so that the viewer could watch a reel that listed Antonia as "guest".

To my way of thinking, the whole "date" was an orchestrated PR stunt aimed at deflecting gaze away from Nicola & their treasure during a time when the utmost privacy was desired by both her and Luke.

So the Lutonia/Jakola anon troll's strategy? Push us when they perceive us to be down in the hopes that we don't get up. Hit out with verbiage meant to feed doubts they think we have. They also (and I love this because it's so fucking hilarious!) work soooo hard to link obvious Nicola and Polin "Lady Whistledown" references to their sinking ships. Silly gooses. And of course they ignore that Luke has never claimed or clarified Antonia's status in his life... even now, after the BOSS event.

The trolling behaviour doesn't phase me in the least. I don't have doubts they can crush with their silliness. Nicola and Luke are soulmates. End of statement.

So troll anons: why not head back to your sinking USS Lutonia or USS Jakola and cast off for home before your ship sinks to the bottom of the ocean. From this point forward I'll be blocking those that send me messages like this. Glisten and Razzle got together like 3 months after Glisten and Boxten broke up. Razzle never really looked to Glisten that much outside of acquaintances (cuz he was kinda sorta lowkey jealous of Glisten's charisma and stage-presence). In fact, they were much more focused on Vee and maybe possibly had a crush on her, which is really funny in hindsight with Dazzle lol. However, after learning that Vee was a lesbian/being very rudely rejected by her, Razzle found comfort in Glisten and fell head-over-heels almost immediately.

The only problem is, Razzle has -10000 aura. His ass cannot be flirty or cool-charismatic at all.

Scapmi is a preppy goth-ish shrimp with an eye for fashion and artistry. With a smart mouth and a massive ego, he often comes off as an annoyance to others. He loves to be front and center in everything but often has to fight with his internalized idea that everything is a competition that he needs to win no matter what. It causes him a lot of stress and self-doubt, but he'd never let anyone see his weaknesses.

Gash is a shrap-toned violent mirror who speaks more with his fists than his voice. He hates everything that is not himself (and sweets) and makes sure people know that. He used to be a perfectionist, but after an accident permanently cracked his face, he dropped his "perfect" persona in favor of a messy, more hateful one. He wants connection but doesn't know how to express his needs in an understandable way, and that frustrates him immensely.

As you can see, match made in heaven.

You misunderstand. Your points aren’t complex. I don’t need them to be simplified. They’re simply rambling and poorly supported. I’m not reading any more for the sake of my own sanity. I did my time teaching; I don’t need to subject myself to that in my free time.

I’m sure you think that your feelings are the objective truth. They aren’t. If they were, you wouldn’t have to dismiss, downplay, or mischaracterize every thing in the show that contradicts your opinion.

When Arcane was first put into production, do you think they said “I want to make a political drama about class. I know! Let’s use League of Legends characters!”? Or do you think they set out to tell the stories of the LoL characters and then fleshed out the class conflict to support that story?

(Also, I’m not sure where you got that I said Ambessa was set up as an antagonist because she “looked menacing.” Ambessa was introduced having just conquered another country and murders a young royal in front of her child then immediately started manipulating everything the moment she got to Piltover.

Did I even bring up character design? I seem to recall calling Ambessa an imperialist warmonger because that’s what she was unambiguously in the text. I didn’t say “a buff lady with scars showed up; she must be a baddie.” My favorite character is Vi. I have a type.)

And yes, actually, one line of dialogue can predict the end of the story. This is very common. Some shows will even have a flashback to it. I imagine there’s probably a watch mojo list or blog article out there with a list. It’s kind of a form of planting and payoff. As I said, it’s similar to Chekov’s gun. The storyteller puts something out in the open where everyone can see it, but doesn’t draw overt attention to it. Some people will note it. Some won’t. But, when it comes back at the end or in a major moment, people will either make the connection or realize it was there the whole time on a rewatch.

Some people like to use a lot of foreshadowing, some like to only use a little bit have it be more overt. That said, though that line of dialogue was the most overt bit of foreshadowing, it was not the only indicator. There was, as I said, Caitlyn and VI’s whole relationship—though the most obvious moment was the oil and water scene that you tried to play off as not being tied to the two cities even though Vi literally spells that out.

There’s also just the simple fact that narratives of this nature tend to go in predictable ways. Sure, some end in either a civil war or with the impassioned pleas of our heroes, but fighting a common enemy is pretty popular. Even Justice League Unlimited went with that ending. So, when you’ve watched that trope play out a bunch of times and then it’s brought up seemingly unnecessarily while also being mirrored in the main romantic relationship in the show—coming to the conclusion that this is where the story is going is not exactly a trip down the turnpike.

You may find it cheap. Doesn’t make it not set up or less predictable. If anything, I’d understand being annoyed by how predictable it was.

Anyway, I hope you’re also taking the time to talk about things you like on here—I’m not huge into checking out profiles, because I like to engage with the discussion first. Not gonna block you, but, unless you say something pretty distasteful, I’m probably not going to respond again. (If I have some self-control.)

And, you know what, maybe someday Amanda or someone will prove me wrong. They’ll say it was just a coincidence or that it became accidental foreshadowing when they decided to change course half way through the story. It happens. Until then, I’m pretty comfortable with my analysis.

“What happened to rebel Vi” is that Vander took her to the bridge where her parents died in his revolution and asked her what she was willing to lose. Then she meets Cait who is gentle and kind while still being tough and it makes her rethink how she sees topside. When Jinx tells her she changed too, that’s what she’s talking about.

I’m sorry if you thought Vi was going to be a topside-hating revolutionary in Season 2, but that’s clearly not where her character arc was going. Remember how she forced her way between Ekko and Cait? It seemed very straightforward that was the role her character was taking on.

I feel similar about people who act like the show was betraying its premise because it ended with reconciliation/Zaun and Piltover working together. Again, the fact that two of the most important relationships were between characters from both sides and that they made a point of talking about Zaun and Piltover first coming together against a common enemy was a pretty clear indicator that was the plan.

Now, I get being annoyed that that was what they chose to do. You don’t have to love the creative decisions of media, just like media doesn’t have to compromise its creative direction to satisfy you. But not liking that they went that direction is not the same as the show having bad writing or engaging in character assassination.

Everything Vi did in season 2 was very much in character with how she changed and who she became throughout Season 1. Hell, she used enforcers and Hextech to raid Shimmer facilities before Commander Kiramman ever threw on a beret. So, yes, actually wearing the uniform was a huge and complicated decision that she was definitely not happy about, but it also fell in line with what she had been doing.

There’s meat for another post at some point about the three different Zaun/enforcer partnerships we see in the show: Vander/Greyson, Silco/Marcus, and Cait/Vi; but I’m not going to go into that now.

TLDR: “Rebel Vi” who wants to fight all of topside hasn’t existed since the end of the second episode of the show.

Editing to add that Vi doesn’t see attacking Chem Barons as attacking Zaun; she’s taking down the people who are destroying Zaun.

I saw the manifestation/law of assumption hot takes by @stateswscarlet on Twitter and I agree with some of it, but since I no longer have an account about it on Twitter, I want to talk about what I found contradictory here because it bothered me a little to read it, so I want to leave my point/opinion here on my blog.

This is absolutely contradiction. You do not “depend” on the Law because it is the basis of reality. Everything that exists already follows this Law, whether the person is aware of it or not. It is like saying that someone “depends” on gravity to walk.

Furthermore, the Law liberates, it does not imprison. When you understand that reality responds to you, you take control instead of feeling hostage to the external world.

The question is not “to do or not to do”, but rather where the action comes from. If it comes from desperation and lack, it is useless. If it comes from the absolute certainty that you already have something, then any action will be natural and inspired.

And the truth is that you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. Your physical appearance only reflects the identity you have already assumed. If your identity is unshakable, things simply happen.

This view comes from those who believe that reality is fixed and that there is an absolute “right and wrong” in the universe. But in reality, everyone lives within their own reality. Just because someone is already in a relationship in your current reality, that doesn’t mean that’s the case in your desired reality.

You’re not “taking” someone from anyone else, because in your reality that person is already with you. External circumstances are just a reflection of what you assume to be true. If you truly assume that you are with that person, then that is the only truth that exists for you.

This is YOUR ADVICE (and I’m not saying that I don’t agree) but it’s not a hot take on manifestation/loa. It doesn't make sense to say "you can't fix them" and say you can manifest anything despite the circumstances, that's VERY contradictory.

Anyway, I haven't read any more of her content and I don't know how she teaches (?) idk the law in her way. I just wanted to give MY opinion on MY blog specifically about these "hot takes" because I thought that yes, they are limiting beliefs and they are being passed on.

People who still operate at the level of doubt and linear logic always try to find flaws, but the truth is simple: reality responds to what you assume to be true. Period.

Since I’m ill and this fandom has nothing I tried to find all of the Punchy cameos in the SMB movie (Even the leaked images from the concept art, lmao) and I’m not sure if anyone has posted these already but I want these guys on my blog so yea.

So first of all, the Punch-Out!! Pizzeria! I would eat here in a heartbeat (Also I just noticed the continuity error with the bicycle, weird)

There are also framed photos of (bottom left to right) I’m gonna assume Aran for some reason, Doc Louis, Bull (Seemingly his “Does anyone else dare to challenge me!?” pose), Sandman who’s above him, Disco beside “Mac’s gloves,” Little Mac himself, the one in the small yellow frame I can’t make out but beside the clock is Don.

I'm not one to hate blog but god 4000 notes on a piece of ai garbage I'm posting directly so OP can't delete my message and others can hopefully learn what to look for. And before anyone tries to say otherwise I looked through the rest of this person's artworks to confirm if anyone wants to see for themselves. Tattoos and anything that's supposed to have words or small details are gibberish, their art style is all over the place and the coloring is extremely inconsistent. In fact there's so little style consistency that it goes beyond someone who happens to have multiple art styles given that the way they draw one specific character changes at least several times in terms of physical structure/hair, not to mention if they really have as much technical skill as their artwork is supposed to demonstrate then they shouldn't make such glaring technical errors in some of their works (irises not properly touching the edges of the eyes, wonky hair shapes, and I'm presuming because hands are still a challenge for ai that's why they conveniently leave them cropped out in quite a few "pieces". I understand hands can be challenging for some artists but again someone who is supposed to have this much skill should not be making beginner artist decisions like avoiding to draw specific features). They tried to take a picture of their physical hand next to their "sketchbooks" as proof of legitimacy but the lineart is far too clean to be made by a physical pencil or pen since even pen has some amount of unsteadiness to a degree in creating lines so it's definitely digital, not to mention it's more suspicious that they only ever post finished products without proof of process (I'm not talking exclusively about time lapses I'm talking about half-finished sketches, doodles, etc). Tell signs are harder to distinguish in this piece so I understand why people got fooled but the giveaways are the fact that theres no sense of framing in this picture with the way the background is just miscellaneous nonsense colors that serve no purpose in framing the subjects.

The over-detailing of the faces (going along with the supposed medium used to paint the rest of the "artwork" there should be some amount of texture to the faces but theres a dissonance which is given by how smooth they are in comparison to the rest of the piece) and... every artist is entitled to artistic liberty but they dont even fucking look like the characters themselves like Ekko's face shape is entirely off and I find it difficult to believe that someone who is supposed to be as advanced as this would fail at something like facial studies. Also again with the nonsense gibberish tattoo on Jinx's arm which is being masked by the roughness of the paint texture. And in case people still aren't convinced here's a screenshot I took from a different post claiming to be something they drew:

Live Emotion Song Spreadsheet Project

I've started putting together a simple spreadsheet of song information for the game in hopes it'll be useful for the various events we get!

Includes: Singer(s), Song Titles, Length, and Note Count for all the difficulties!

It's also color coded by Singer color(s) and the difficulty, PLUS it's set up so the songs involved in the current event will be highlighted for easy comparisons too~

Currently we have: - All current event songs, Easy+Normal+Hard (4/6 have Expert) - All Group/Duo/Trio songs, Easy+Normal (1 has Hard)

I would love to ask for your help filling out things much faster! If you happen to know any note totals for any of the songs (or just have a screenshot of ur score page) please let me know!!!

Hard+Expert notes are most appreciated as I personally only just started doing those higher difficulties after the last event so those will take me the longest for me to get through. But anything and everything you guys can provide regardless of what difficulty is appreciated and will save me so much time!!

I completely understand if you don’t support LGBT+ but that doesn’t make it right to just go bonkers and say the rudest thing in people’s inboxes or to them IRL (In real life) ! Some of them are just trying their best to make the most of their lives so they can live how they want too! Some of them are under transphobic or homophobic parental roofs where they can’t get the support they need so they escape to the internet where they think they can be supported! Some of those people don’t have the money to be able to change their appearance and get dysphoria because of it!

as I am one of those people living under a transphobic household I cannot get top surgery or change my appearance to look like a guy! It’s not fair to us to have to deal with these hurtful people! I am only a teenager (of the age to be able to be on tumblr) having to deal with some of these people It hurts!

and now with the fear of what’s going on where I live (in the USA) as a trans person that scares me…. Scares me so bad! And plus my parent’s are Trump supporters makes me even more scared that they’d find out and kick me out because of me being Trans.. they are fine with me being Bisexual, but trans they said is crossing the line.

We just want support.. to feel loved by everyone so please open your heart and eyes we aren’t the bad guys we are funny people, cool people, amazing people. We can be doctor’s or lawyer’s or anything we put our mind to! I want to be an animator when I grow up! I can do that and still be who I want to be.

some of the harassment us LGBTQ+ people get can get so bad we want to off ourselves because of it! I’ve been in that mindset before, but with how much my friends support me even though they aren’t part of it. That made me realize that I don’t have to think like that don’t have to be like that.

so please I beg of you Open your heart and eyes and see we aren’t as bad as you think we are! Stop the riots and the madness and think “Are they the bad guys or am I the bad guy” just please don’t hurt my community Our community!//

So I know that there are some people who agree with lgbt+ and some who do not. It should not matter either way what you believe in! Just be nice to each other is all that matters! So what if you don’t believe in it? You don’t have to. I can’t change your beliefs. But you can change how you act on it. Some of you may know that I don’t support lgbt+. I don’t. But I respect and will still be friends with those that do. It doesn’t matter what sexuality, gender or whatever you are. I will still happily be your friend. The world has worse problems than people not supporting or supporting lgbt+. So please. Take a moment and reflect. Is causing disagreements about this worth it in the end? I don’t mind if you do or do not support it. Just be nice to each other and respect each other no matter what you support. I have friends who support it. I have friends who don’t support it. In the end, it’s just a belief. Please don’t start arguments over it. All I ask if for two different supporting communities to befriend each other and just accept that not everyone supports the same thing. Please. Put aside your stubbornness and accept each other. It’s all I ask for.
