Where AU where Cumplane Pre-transmigration meets Moshang and Bingqiu post-SVSSS

currently Cumplane has been in a marriage for about 5 years and has been dating for 2 years. they started talking properlyto each other once PIDW had ended and Shen yuan coerced Airplane into making a new book with his exact outline from his orignal plan, offering to pay for it. becuase obviously Shen yuan isnt going to tolerate SQHs living condictions in a very beat down apartment they become roomates. as Shen Yuan is a beta reader and SQH no longer needs to worry about money, they calm down their anomosity. and after back and forth and Shen Yuan finally coming out of his very glass closet they get together.

at first Shen Yuans family doesnt approve becuase they think Shang Qinghua was a golddigger, but after finding out that Shang Qinghua was the author of PIDW, which they have heard their son rant about every single time they meet up, hey turn the tables and accept them as their son in law thinking :

Entire Family: " so thats why shen yuan started dating him! thats so sweer. "

it was kind of embarressing becuase Shen Yuans family had described in detail how passionate their son got whenever talking about that book.

I decided i wanted to try and add lore into it so i quickly got the thought of showing readers healing ability in this like super bright light and the crazy ahh agony it puts the patients through

(yes the other ppl drawn are randoms i didnt think much of what their design would be when drawing em😭🙏)

And ohhh my god even tho i knew what i wanted to draw i could nawtt figure out the composition like holy shit THE BASIC SKETCH TOOK 2 HOURSS💀💀

OKAY SO i had lots of thoughts when drawing (crazy event) so im gonna yap about them 💪

I usually dont do that since most of my art is oc art and no ones reading 3k words of lore attached to comprehend why one hairstrand is blue (hyperbole) but less (unrelated) chatter and more (interesting) chatter

I tried to portray healer!reader in this almost divine way to like maybe show what her "patients" first thought might be when they hear of a girl with the power to immediatly heal them (i dont actually know how masahi or wthvr his name is got injured people to healer so i might sound really stupid if theyre just kidnapped or smt lmao)

Her abilities may make her seem like the ultimate solution but what u dont immediatly see (in the drawing) and/or realise (in the context) is the cost of this power (the big ouchie)

I dont think healer sees herself as this grandiose miracle bringer or anything of the sort when she heals like she lowkeys just masashis tool wether she realises it or not😭 her nurse uniform isnt even a proper one

I like to think that masashi tweaked her outfit to doll her up a bit since she doesnt really need clothes up to regulation (and bc he doesnt really take her seriously i feel like)

She has huge sleeves, no gloves her hair isnt even tied up and shes getting all close to a (formerly) gravely injured person like diva truly dont give a fuck😭 (i was debating on if i should add a big bow on her back but decided otherwise cause i think she herself would refuse to have one lol🧍‍♀️)

In the drawing shes like grabbing someones arm and i tried to make her hold look both harsh (put not very visible red streaks on the skin below her finger) and forgiving (shes not really pulling at the arm and the higher hand doesnt even look like its seizing the other person)

The red is so invisible oh my days

I dont think she actually needs to touch a person to restore their body but idk its been years since i last read bsd 🧍‍♀️ the hold is mostly there for the imagery like it can be so many things just interpret it as you want (it can help the angelic imagery by looking like shes holding the person to reassure them but it can also just be that the person may have tried to punch her in their panic so shes holding them in place or smt)

I highkey just talked abt healer and the person shes holding but theres other ppl lurking in the darkness so ill briefly mention them yk

As u can see below, the moment between the two people in the light is sort of "interupted" by others who are either obstructing the view or reaching to be seen

Whats happening between healer and the current patient isnt anything new or unique, its not something u see once and then never again. the others are still within view, still affected but unable to truly bask in the light. They remain hidden but still visible to whoever sees the bigger picture (i think it was mentionned in the fic that there were reports of people healing crazy fast but they had this empty look in their eyes? Smt like that? So like u can be aware of what getting that remedy does to someone but still not fully understand and goshh i cant put into words what im thinking)

he sleeps outside his tent in armour (they wake him n others at night for council about spies, Dio volunteers, he gets to pick a second, he goes for Ody, ody didnt rly want to go, Dio choose him anyway despite deserting him)

Dio and ody face the spy of the trojans Dolon, (hiding between corpses) he almost runs away but Athena “is fighting to be known” doesnt want someone else to strike first, so she makes Diomedes throw the spear and orders him to stop, Dolon tells them good gossip, including white horses, Dio kills him

they do some more bs, like killing people in their sleep (dio) and stealing horses (ody) dio considers unaliving more until athena suggests he may stop so other gods dont get jealous

both kings are good at being stealthy AND open combat

Rhesus horses are badass (first sign for the fall of troy), Dio gets them (bedding gift?), people without the horses and king leave W for the achaeans

Lord of War Cry

dio throws a spear at hector, apollos helmet saves him, but he mingles with the crowd, first time that Dio speaks back and calls him a dog (even the best men loose their temper at times)

Paris shoots his foot, (fucking moron blasts about it, Dio gives him a verbal lashing) he withdraws under cover of Odysseus, ody gets an ouchy

agamennon wants to flee (again), Dio tells them they should just let themselves get wounded again

Dio wins all funeral games of patroclus (though wounded) – Athena makes sure of it – draws first blood in the fight with Ajax, they stop him worried he’d kill him

Athena appears to him undiguised, Athenas favorite

kills some amazons, Achilles kills his cousin (who was a bitch), dio mourns him though and wants to have achilles punished

Dio and Ody bring Achilles son to Troy after Achilles death (bc they could not win the war without him there)

Ody and Dio sent to negoiate for peace after Paris’ death (by poised bow that the two of them stole?)

dio and ody gotta steal a statue of athena, ody disguises himself as beggar at night, dio follows later and brings the statue out

Ody tries to stab him in the back?? (to get the glory himself???) Dio catches it and ties him, and shoves him infront of himself, but refrains from punishing him because they need him (“for the greater good”)

dio is one of the warriors inside the trojan horse

dio leaves immediatly after the fall of troy (after the achaeans angered athena through the rape of cassandra by ajax the lesser) and arrives home safely (favored by the gods) Post Trojan war possibilities:

when he gets there his wife has commited adultery and keeps him out of town (palamedes brother having told he brought a different woman) aphrodite being pissed about the scratch helps her get many lovers, he has to leave again

gets kidnapped by some guy to get sacrificied to ares, gets saved by a girl

comes to the court of some other king who offers him his daughter as wife and lands, if he fights for them, so he does, and has two sons with her

he refuses to fight more trojans later on, he just wants to live in peace

birds haunt him and his men (his men cried so much over his death they got turned into birds)

(graphics and style is basically botws so that doesnt count though i still love that and .. the designs... mostly)

the short version; the writing sucks, the gameplay sucks, except for koga theres no character that is well written or enjoyable to me, the world design sucks, theres no connective tissue between botw (which isnt flawless by any means but i love it ..... or used to love it ..) and totk beyond it being called a sequel, pretty much every single one of botws flaws was doubled down on and i cannot believe how few people actually seem to realize this?? if you cared about anything botw and like thinking about things totk will stomp you with its hefty price tag bc it makes it clear it does not care and you are stupid for caring about anything, you should stop thinking and jsut take whatever they say no matter how little sense anything makes, every even mildly interesting idea is either never followed up on/expanded or is even actively contradicted in itself (which is soemthign this game is excellent at, constantly contradicting itself in every aspect but like .. like its unaware of it) it tries to do everything and thus commits to nothing, tries to please everyone and thus comes out saying nothing and meaning nothing and doing nothing, it loooooves to copy botw but gives it a different paintjob and makes it worse but presents it as better instead of actually adressing the issues botw had, ganondorf .... oh my dear ganondorf, you deserve to be in a better game *sniffs*, i have never before felt like im being made fun of by the game im playing, but now i have-

even the short version gets long (and i didnt even go into detail or into the reasoning q-q) but boi i have so many issues with this game its kinda fascinating, i have talked about alot of it but given tumblrs search likely still sucks it might be hard to impossible to find all those older rants njskfsdbjk

(if you dont care about ... text, or stories and just play it after work for mindless fun in short bursts it might not seem bad at all but once you start thinking it quickly and utterly crumbles, you might say i care to much and well, yeah, thats how hyperfixations work and i dont choose what to focus on either lol)

for a long while i used to try and sound the most tame and nice about it all but at some point of constantly being argued with (often aggressively) back when twitter used to be usable i started to not give a fuck anymore so if this may sound harsh, i have long gotten tired of all that so now im trying to literally just speak my mind with very little "what if i sound mean qoq" filter

I mean I feel like a large part of the praxis I talk about is about using the current system and then building a framework of how to have a better system on top of it...

Like yea of course we are reliant on the current system! Like when I started helping organize our general strike (for yrs down the line mind you) one if my biggest concerns was replacing things like Medication distribution and mass electricity distribution. Currently we are almost entirely reliant on our goverment systems to provide things like proper internet access, medication, infrastructure building, etc... but our goal must be How Can I replace that? How do I improve that system (potentially within the current one?) I'm a big fan of building within the system and then knocking down all the bad things later. But how should we respond? That's not for me alone to build, that's for ppl to debate and refine and look for ethical harm and so forth. Those new system must be created by communities not solo actors.

Of course that's all theorical right now.

That being said, I don't work in strictly Theorical stuff like the first round of this might imply no one I know works in strictly Theorical.

Yes, I have anxiety over phonecalls- but I still helped organize and participate in Call in campaigns within my city ranging from housing (mainly zoning and rent caps), to food systems (community garden access, food bank funding,), fighting for libraries and public services etc... I still make phone calls to help my friend arrange Dr Appointments bc they are also anxious about them, I still call to check on friends and to yell at politicians who are doing harm in my community.

Yes, I have anxiety over public speaking- to the point where I personally turned down the Mayors office request for me to speak about the housing crisis - but I speak up at every community assoiation meeting, I force myself to be looked at like I'm crazy for suggesting unhoused ppl deserve their property back after being forced to relocate instead of police straight up burning it in front of them (something that came up during a CA meeting), I lead conversations in tenant unions and at community garden meetings and pride events and I will sit with someone after meetings to help educate and help ppl sit with certain concepts. I'll speak in place of my friend who'd rather go silent then speak up so their point is still said out loud.

Yes, I have had awful agoraphobia my entire life - I still go to community events and even help run them, I still go to out and map where little Libraries and pantres are. I go to soup festivals and share with friends and different networks about the other cool stuff going on and then they also go. I still gruella garden and sticker bomb and reno bus shelters in the middle of the night.

I'm anxious and scared to high hell the entire time, and I still do it. And thats entirely bc just bc something is hard doesn't mean I won't do it, and I will particularly do something hard for me if it means I can help someone else do it bc I would never ever demand someone else do something scared if I won't and I sure wanna make it less scary to us all.

But that being said, not everyone has the capacity to fight for survival and fight anxiety. For some this might be too much and all they can do is tiny acts to build up a tolerance or to help in a non-leader position which means they don't have to push their comfort level at every interaction. There is nothing wrong about that! They are still allowed to demand a better world even if my hands must create it for them bc I will fight my anxiety if it means someone else doesn't have to unwillingly.

That's why we have ppl who specialize in different skills and it's important to have a network of well balanced skills in general. Like yeaaa I get anxious making a phone call.

But I'll organize events, I'll give you endless information for cool programs and stuff. My friend cannot find that info or just gets to tired to do both research and attend but she's the first person I'd have help me with a phone call.

Im pretty good at learning skills and relaying the info to ppl in general and im a storyteller and a craftsmaker. And I'll teach anyone something they'd wanna know! Or I'd be terrified to be a beekeeper. That's why I got a friend who's fearless of bees and has a hive and I give her extra snacks for handling it for the sake of the honey I use.

We aren't alone out here, and how the hell do you plan on taking down goverment solo?
