I don't know who needs to hear this but if you didn't have any intentions for what to do with yourself on midnight on New Year's Eve it's not too late, and you don't need a detailed plan either. You never need to wait for a specific date to start doing something you want to do. You only need to set your intention in the right direction, and to move with some purpose towards what you want.

You don't need to make grand gestures. You can just do the very smallest, most basic step toward your goal, and you'll get there if you keep pointing your feet in that direction. Tomorrow you can wake up and do another tiny thing. You can do another tiny step the next day. You'll get there. Life isn't a race and you're not competing against anyone. You don't have to finish what you set out to do by the 31st of December, and even a desire to do The Thing is a step. Go on your own time and in your own way. In this TED Talk....
