okay im back and it's kára time!!

i don't get to use kára much which sucks cause they're one of my fave ocs but that's kinda on me cause i'm lowkey afraid to throw her at people. but have some thoughts, slight loki spoilers but if you really care that much you have the tag blocked anyway

so as it stands kára is main timeline Ioki's kid, but didn't know that for sure until after ragnorak because Ioki had no involvement in their life and they were raised by their mother and by various asgardian elders.

and at no point do i think that's going to change, it's important to me that kára be able to stand alone as a character without being dependent on a childhood raised by Ioki (because if i ever DO interact with a Ioki blog that's a pain to sort out and also frankly kára having no connection with her parent and potentially developing one later is much more interesting to me). she is Ioki's child but she is not LOKI's child ya know? kára is their own person, and her experiences are shaped by being different but loved nonetheless. and that's important because in some ways so was Ioki and they share this, but they don't know it, but she also got to have a lot of experiences that Ioki would never get to have and these are important too.

anyway, all this to say, i'm toying with the idea that maybe kára isn't main timeline Ioki's kid. maybe they're a variant's kid, one that still wasn't part of her life, but it would give me a little more room to play around with universe stuff. i'm not sure in this case whether it really matter's which timeline's Ioki's spawn kára is though. she still grows up on asgard, and still escapes when asgard is destroyed in ragnorak.

i would love plots with a mobius or other tva agents cause yeah either way kára could totally be a variant that wasn't supposed to happen and also any and all Ioki variants cause i'm having THOUGHTS about my bby

also semi unrelated but talissa and kára are basically variants of each other and i think that's neat. (like they have vastly different personalities but they are both orphaned children of tricksters (and gabriel called himself Ioki in spn before revealing his true identity) who dabble in magic)
