the more complete story is actually even funnier because that guy started out as a straight up villain who nearly killed and ate two player characters and then i chose to tone him down and make him more of an "anti villain" (tumblr sexyman) which immediately caught augustines attention and he was like. "can i make a love interest for that guy." and i (in the midst of having a big big crush on him and having roleplayed two other het couples with him already) was like "you can make a character but jury's out on whether fornax will fall in love" so i like played roleplay hard to get for two weeks adn then was like "okay....... they will fall in love :)" and then a combination of augustines legitimate Fictional Character Crush on My Guy Whom I Made Up and our adolescent feelings for Each Other sublimated into roleplaying this kind of insufferably cliché heterosexual couple kind of ruined the whole narrative and seriously tested our friendship with our other mutual best friend. and the whole time i was super into sublimating my feelings for my best friend into roleplaying a fictional booktok romantasy type couple with him in public but deeply embarrassed about writing a relationship i had a feeling was insufferably cliché. the power of storytelling (and adolescent pining)

2013 katia: this is my new roleplay character fornax. he is part of a very very despised species that can shapeshift between scary ass wolfdog creatures and humans and other guys, though learning a new shape is a little like learning a language and takes a lot of time and effort especially for adults #notamarysue #ireadwebsites. anyway he is a beautiful dark-haired bad boy who is sexually experienced charismatic and flirtatious but haunted by his #trauma in a way that makes him not want to stay in relationships. he's in an abusive workplace dynamic with the central villain of the roleplay who tortures him badly and kind of homoerotically when fornax doesn't do what he says. fornax is a Very Complicated And Morally Ambiguous Character and should probably not fall in love.
