Lore I came up with just last night: She might have a complex relationship with her own moral compass, her sense of justice is a little messed up because of her own parents opinions on it lol. She disregards their opinions on it to form her own, find out the true difference between good and bad during her heroic upbringing.

-Which is another thing she has an issue with; why is she being brought up as a hero? For the sake of her families past? To surpass her father and grandfather? She showed interest as a kid simply because that's what her parents were doing but as she got older it got more complex

Kureha sighed as she heard another knock at the door. What is that, the third time already? She really wouldn’t be able to concentrate on her work at this rate. Getting up again, she opened the door to find a delivery woman who was about to set a package down.

“Oh-! Sorry for bothering you. Here, this is for you.” She said and handed Kureha her gift. Grabbing it, the artist only nodded as she went back inside again and set the gift at her desk. Unwrapping it revealed…

i’m a big fan of your works, so i was really ecstatic when i found out i was your secret santa!!

me and my fans worked together with some of your fans to create a manga of you! some parts looked rather rushed though since we only had a couple weeks i’m so sorry T~T

on the other hand, these manga are unlike any other since we used paper that you could paint on if you ever wanted to color in the illustrations. isn’t that cool?! kudos to everyone honestly.

“Whoa, this is so cool!” Kureha’s eyes shined as she flipped through the pages of her very own manga, it was surprisingly detailed and well drawn. From what she could gather, it was about her life and journey as a knight for the Light Kingdom and serving under Her Majesty, the Queen and adoptive mother (who she recognized was Sayaka) while also going on adventures with various people, one of which was an Enchantress (who she recognized as Lola). It was light hearted and fun but still had some moments of real and deep storytelling and the small Otaku side of Kureha was cheering inside of her, looking over to her paint palettes, the bluenette smiled before grabbing a paintbrush and getting started.

So im fleshing out the Mayuri’s family characters for Vulpes and while i have all their personality and lore down I gotta say I love writing about his parents.

I pretty much made it so that their relationship and dynamic are parallel to Mayuri’s and Kenpachi's, which makes for a bit of juicy conflict.

But like personality wise Mayuri's dad is just like this, especially when meeting others

I had a couple in mind related to the OC & canon dynamic thing.

Arthur & Metal Sonic

Orion & Surge

Soren (and to that extent, Vivian) and Tikal

Arthur is rather serious and always has the intent of succeeding in whatever he does, as the prince of Mobius, he has expectations to uphold and he knows them. I do think he would've heard of Metal from his father, with all the stories about how they fought and things that happened and such. Arthur would then, by default, view Metal as a threat, and Metal would more than likely do the same, seeing as he is Sonic's son.

In the Timeskip AU, Surge has been kinda sorta redeemed? (With the help of Amy of course.) That doesn't make her any less wild and prone to trouble, though. She's kept her personality, but not so much her villainous intentions. Orion is VERY shy, gets anxious easily, and has trouble meeting, talking to, or trusting new people. Surge would be very forward (also bc lmao this is Eclipse's kid? LOOKS like him, wonder if he ACTS like him too,) while Orion would more than likely just hide behind his more extroverted sister, Moriko (Mori.) (Also, I sprinkle a bit of protective mother Whisper........just a bit)

I think Soren and Vivian would discover Tikal while going after the Master Emerald one day (Vivian just likes shiny stuff and Soren LITERALLY cannot help himself.) Tikal knows who they are, due to having been Terios' spiritual guardian (she would help with the whole shard energy situation in many different ways,) back then, but Soren and Vivian see her and they're just like GHOSTS ARE REAL??? In the end, I think they would get along just fine, and perhaps Tikal could even be the one to let them in on a little more of their father's story...and a couple of MAAAAAYBE embarrassing things about him that she knows. For funsies.
