(ALPHA SPOILERS) regarding my question, it mainly came to mind after reading chase’s third interlude. it really got me thinking about what characters might resort to doing what he did if necessary - so my question is: what would, if anything, drive blade into torturing someone? would he not think twice about it or would it be an absolute last resort? would he do it for revenge, intimidation, or even just information? what about if romanced!blade were, say, trying to get mc’s location out of someone? thank you so much!!

For Blade, the question of torture is a mixed bag. It's generally a last resort for him, but if he has to resort to it, he really doesn't think twice. His ruthlessness in this regard exceeds even Chase's, at least partly due to Ket military pragmatism; torture is just another tool in the arsenal among the Khehi, so he doesn't exactly have moral qualms or particular queasiness about using it--nor is he generally going to feel bad about it afterwards. It's a bit eerie for people who know him to be this noble, self-sacrificing commander, but he really doesn't bat an eye at torture. That being said, it really depends on the situation. For, like, a stubborn civilian who's just not yielding important information or maybe a highway robber who knows about a bandit hideout, he's not going to jump right to torture LOL and it would be a last resort! Typically intimidation or psychological interrogation tactics would be enough in those cases. But if the situation was incredibly urgent, or if the person at hand was either threatening or imperiling the lives of people he cared about... yeah, he wouldn't really bat an eye. 😅 The Fifth Autarch knew what she was doing when she put him in charge!

The way they all met wasn't just like. them finding one hero and then another and another until all of them were collected- Crimson and Bunny (and Ravio, who stayed behind) may have been the first to meet, but some of the others got dragged into other eras in little clusters.

None of them really know what's happening until Crimson meets up with each cluster, and are Very Confused before then.

Crimson knew drawing the sword was going to do something- Hylia straight up told him, he just was NOT expecting whatever was going to happen to happen immediately after pulling the Master sword. Once Fi wakes up she'll have a lot to say about the current situation.

Crimson and Bunny landed in front of Prism literally like a minute before the color's re-fused for. reasons. and was already kind of disorientated before he watched two people fall from the sky from a burst of golden light.

Torrent and Wander landed in Wolf's hyrule, and didn't know what kind of animal he was so they didn't really panic seeing him- both are more confused about Faron Woods, neither having actually seen a forest as lush and as large as it.

Rinka and Mild ran into Mask in Mild's lost woods- the korok mask reacting to his presence and leading them to him.

Whisper showed up in Fauna's hyrule freaking the fuck out, who Fauna proceeded to think this neurotic mess was friend shaped and they were just vibing until the others found them.

Okay but when Crow!Rook hooks up with Lucanis, Viago starts getting really ticked off and petty with him. Stepping on the back of Lucanis' cloak, rolling his eyes during Talon meetings, and worst of all, not finishing his gifted cups of Lucanis' handground artisanal coffee. And Lucanis has NO CLUE wtf is happening. Until it comes out that Viago is all sulky because if Rook has a kid they're OBVIOUSLY going to have to be a Dellamorte - Caterina would accept no arguments otherwise. House De Riva already lost Jacobus (for a good cause but that's not important.) Now Viago's future neices and nephews fledglings aren't even going to be De Riva's??? WORSE - Rook might have to change their surname to Dellamorte too! It's a travesty! An unnassailable loss! A blow to his 'difficult mentor finally accepts their prodigee to the fullest' persona.

Spite thinks all of it is very, very funny and does not warn Lucanis of the laxatives Viago added to his wine. Rook promises they'll get Viago a kitten to make up for it.
