📌Prime World, Canon Endings, Branch Worlds (What If? story) and Metal Archie.✂️
Time to explain these 4 concepts (not so concepts) that are related in my Sonic AU.
Why the need to create this?
- I'm a huge fan of these multiverse things, alternate versions, What If? worlds, etc. It serves to exploit more than one idea, managing to expand and explain things, also as a way to show content that is not involved with the main story of the AU.
- I will be writing the story of Metal Organic in novel format on Wattpad (the clarification on this can be read here) not being able to show anything would leave the account without content so that's why this came about, I wanted to give more variety
Tumblr media
⭐ Prime World
Where the story of Metal Organic takes place, although it is an Alternative Universe, it is quite autonomous and its own, What do I mean by this? it is a different universe with its own history where its events are different from the original world (the video games and Sonic Comics from IDW, that's why it's called AU (Alternative Universe).
• Imagine that it is a tree of the same species, a pine, there are different types of pine but they are all from the same family.
• The Metal Organic universe (original) was named Prime World mostly to avoid confusion with the alternative versions of the characters that belong to this AU and I will explain later.
The Prime World consists of two unique canonical endings
❌Canon Endings💠
The canon endings are part of the Prime World itself, there are only two by name Sky Blue Ending (Good ending) Dark Blue Ending (Bad ending), these endings are two ways to conclude the story like Undertale (where I was slightly inspired).
💠 The Sky Blue ending gives rise to a more adult and depressing version of Metal (Dr Cd)
❌ The Dark Blue ending gives rise to Lord Neo (Neo Metal Sonic), an evolved and twisted version of Metal
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍂Branch Worlds (What If? storys)
They are What If? stories within the same AU, but I better named them Branch Worlds to make it less confusing.
This name is because they are branches linked to the Prime World but they distance themselves from being the same as this one, because there was an event or something that made the story of these happen differently.
All these branches have a single ending.
⚜️ Wymond and Mark are from a Branch World No.2 named Dark Fall Ending
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥀 Kinzuko and Kaile are from Branch World No.3 named Ether Ending
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🔶 Metal Archie 🔆
It's a parallel world, where the events of this universe have certain parallels with the prime world (Metal Organic) the only difference is that it happens in the world of Archie comics, after the reboot of the entire universe.
PS: I know almost nothing about Archie Comics so sorry if I'm wrong sometimes, I do the best I can, I'll base it on the reboot events and with some creative freedom on my part. The story is not long, in fact it's somewhat short.

Undertale Yellow AU/UT and DR based-Ideas Ramble Post
You know, I haven't posted on this account for anything in YEARS besides reblogs and one Paper Mario: Origami King rant...
Anyway, had random assorted Undertale yellow AU and post pacifist/wider Undertale/deltarune world--related ideas I felt like spouting for fun because I'm back into Undertale brainworms and Twitter would suck for this, especially since I keep updating this. Feel free to use these ideas if you somehow see this and get inspired. Credit would be nice (at least cause I would like to see anyone turning these rambles into ideas) but really isn't necessary. These can easily veer off from the canon/creators of yellow and various AUs referenced (I've been really bad at keeping up with generally accepted versions of aus and the story for official ones), and I do not in ANY way want to imply my ideas are good or "proper" add-ons, just fun what-ifs that might break the rules. Also, I'm bad at coming up with good endings or full casts descriptions for a lot of these concepts (sorry Dalv) so feel free to do them yourself
UNDERTALE YELLOW SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY
*Undertale background (and yellow lore ideas):
-Clover is the first human to fall after Flowey's "birth"
-if Berdly has an unseen Undertale counterpart (he's the only one who never has a reference or family member referenced unless you think the drunk bird in grillby's is related), martlet is like his way older cousin.
-undertale yellow takes place just before the monsters who became amalgamates woke up (since alphys said she called everyone and probably wouldn't have been so chipper in the journal if one monster wasn't still getting up, and Ceroba says she hadn't heard anything and there's no mention of other monsters getting news of their relatives) and subsequently melted. In other words, amalgam kanako doesn't happen until after the events of pacifist (that said, I wrote some au ideas on the idea of her amalgamating before anyway)
-Kanako is part of the amalgam that tucks in frisk, since she remembers it being comforting when she was a kid. Also, this is just a story idea but I can imagine her being a bit special/unique when everyone started melting, perhaps the first to get up and last to melt or vice versa (I think the former cause her soul was probably holding on a bit longer since because of the boss monster and existing determination injection sustaining her longer). EDIT: lmao so much for being headcanon for the first bit. Anyway, only add-on thought to this is that since a lot of lore, though partly unused, implies it's mostly just older monsters that fall down, kanako was the only outright child in true lab and Alphys basically had to become her guardian/parent for a few months.
-martlet stole the serum from true lab while everyone was still fallen down, soon after alphys made the first injections, hence why alphys is willing enough to chance leaving the lab open and why martlet isn't as shocked/traumatized as she might have been if she saw amalgamates. She wasn't familiar enough to recognize kanako/a child resembling chujin (how she might have expected them), but she was also focused on sneaking in and out so she wouldn't have paid much attention until reflecting during pacifist.
-the snowdin attack took place in upper snowdin, which is why there's way more guards stationed there. Additionally, that was one of the last events of Undertale counterpart rudy's life, and he helped asgore restore trust and calmness in the days after the event. His girls were too young to remember. Lastly, sans and papyrus briefly drew suspicion for their human frames, but both pretty quickly disarmed residents of suspicion.
-The reason that Clover was the only one to ever travel through yellow locations (the other humans may have at least explored other parts of the underground and just died in Frisk-explored locations) is because they're some of the farthest possible places from the Castle. Even slightly more direct routes would have gotten them killed, hence Flowey pushing them on a roundabout path
-Undertale's Gaster (I have a seperate pet theory about how there's one from Undertale who fell into Deltarune, and another who originates there) made the core but fell into Deltarune before clover arrived, and there he has some major interaction with sans and papyrus that follows them back in Undertale where they get here after Clover
-Ceroba's family were naturally gifted towards magic and one of the more important families on the surface, to the point that a few remnants of their tradition remained aboveground where they eventually become (one of many) inspirations for Mew Mew Kissy Cutie (without the humans knowing the monster background), hence the bell motifs both share. Underground life has kind of quashed most boundaries that aren't "the royal family," but Chujin was marrying above his paygrade (both had a strong mutual love)
-The boss monster gene is normally inherent only in goat-esque monsters, so by default they're the only boss monsters, but it can be transferred from goat monsters to non-goat monster children (normally undetected), and it was in Chujin's family for years (this is mostly just me coping on my different definition of boss monster). Also, as a small little design concept, I like to imagine that kanako and chujin would have had slight boss monster features (rounder snouts, tails, fur that's either white at the base or tip, small horns buried under their hair, and chujin could develop facial hair)
--As a combination of the above, Kanako would probably have been one of the most Naturally gifted/powerful monsters short of the Dreemurrs thanks to both her mother's magic and father's boss monster DNA. However, she probably wouldn't have had a need to significantly develop those powers (kind of like how Toriel is naturally powerful but not really a warrior).
-Ceroba has a slight Japanese accent (like someone who has both mastered English and speaks it commonly enough) that's usually burried underneath the underground's default (like every species had some dialect and accent pre-Ebott that's faded over time), but if she gets angry it FLARES up
-Likewise, Starlo has an exaggerated cowboy accent (I personally think of Mad Dog in the Live a Live dub with the southeastern-slant given his showmanship), but when the mask (and hat) drops, it turns into softspoken midwestern farmboy.
-Chara only bonds to Frisk because they share an affinity for determination and Frisk landing on their grave was close enough to hit something. Clover isn't attuned enough for that to happen.
-sans, alphys, and Asgore know about all the Yellow locations (though Alphys is too shut in to ever visit anywhere besides the mew mew arcade machine), Undyne has been to the dunes and mine and is old enough to know of the steamworks but never visit, while she respects the Wild East just enough to avoid visiting herself and causing trouble (personally, she probably thinks they're just a bunch of slackers who aren't helping out monsterkind given her views of mettaton, but she can at least respect their passion ). Papyrus doesn't know about the steamworks but has been out to the dunes once or twice. Toriel has been shut in and away too long to know of the steamworks and doesn't know the dunes dried out.
*Undertale yellow post-pacifist (and just Undertale post-pacifist):
-Flowey left his main save after Clover's death, after realizing both neutral and any pacifist didn't get anywhere, and due to a mix of pity/respect (though he wouldn't admit it, clover sacrificing their soul for monsterkind reminds him of Chara) and pragmatism, he keeps his ("main" if reular flowey has multiple) save file permanently after their death even if he CAN reset to his creation. (Of course, he's still toyed with the timline THOUSANDS of times before Clover fell--since they only fell after he already tried everything and just waited, he's not too torn up about never going back while he plays around with his new circumstances for a while)
-The only ones who know most of what happened to Clover are Martlet, Starlo, and Ceroba. They told Asgore that Clover was a good kid, but nothing about how they steered Ceroba off her path
--likewise, no one but Clover and Ceroba (and Flowey) knew that Ceroba is responsible for Kanako falling down. Starlo (and some of the rest of the Feisty Five) has suspicions Ceroba hid SOMETHING about the nature of Kanako falling down beyond what she reveals out loud in pacifist, but would never suspect what happened, and both he and Martlet were knocked out for the fight (plus, Clover was seeing a memory) so neither caught what happened. There is absolutely some angst potential of Ceroba admitting what happened and it temporarily straining her friendship with Starlo.
-Undertale is about 2 years after (I normally headcanon that it's decades apart for humans but for this game I'd let it slide). There's not much obvious aging or change outside whats apparent in the credits from character development (dalv is a little more outgoing, Ceroba starts to live a little, starlo goes back to the farm more often) but Martlet is probably marginally more organized and a tad more matured in terms of appearance.
- The cast is mostly uninvolved with UT, but at least one of them (probably martlet or Dalv--ceroba is still a little bitter about mettaton costing Chujin his job and Starlo might avoid the show out of respect to her) catch Frisk on Mettaton's show with clover's gun and hat. Your call whether they respect that Clover's tools protect another kid beyond the grave or see that moment as disrespecting their memory (Martlet is probably the most understanding, Starlo the least), but after the barrier is broken they at least appreciate that Frisk used Clover's belongings to achieve justice for monsterkind
-During the photoshop flowey fight, clover was kept on lock the longest since he knew more of what their soul was capable of.
-The Wild East/Dunes and steamworks aren't used as hiding spaces in genocide because even if clover was pacifist, monsters know humans have gotten there before, and Alphys isn't taking chances compared to how true lab can be locked down.
-the souls can briefly "sense" clover while everyone is absorbed by Asriel, and toward the end of the fight as monsters inside gain their memories back, they don't exactly "talk" again but at least gain a sense of closure and fulfillment from Clover. No one quite knows what happened after the fight, but the gang feels a little better about Clover for some reason.
-Ceroba meets amalgam Kanako in both the evacuation and post-pacifist. At first, she'd hold it against Alphys (after the initial despair at seeing her daughter transformed), enough to even attack alphys, but she comes to admit what happened is just as much her responsibility. On post-pacifist, Kanako is calm enough (thanks to Frisk) and sentient enough for it to be a real reunion, and like most amalgams doesn't hold it against alphys enough to lash out, which at least eases Ceroba.
-toriel gets some closure on what happened to clover when she wants to honor the fallen humans and asgore directs her to ceroba. She doesn't get the full story but enough to know they gave their soul up willingly. Even though the two in the past probably would have disliked each other (Ceroba disliking Toriel for giving up on her husband, and Toriel for what Ceroba did to both kanako and Clover), Ceroba would have mellowed out enough to respect toriel's decision. Toriel would be more standoffish but at least sees Ceroba as less of a coward than asgore who was motivated by love of her family.
-any monsters who befriended previous humans plus yellow's main cast and toriel hold a funeral for the humans who died (Asgore may attend out of penance, and other monsters out of guilt but not as the primary attendees), Toriel is probably the only one (besides family if any are left) that cares for integrity sadly...
-Honeydew inn becomes the main nature resort of the underground for surface visitors, especially with snowed inn shutting down
-On the surface, Starlo becomes involved in those western town recreations, and Martlet still doesn't quite have a direction to take her life in and winds up in various odd-jobs for a while, but she appreciates the newfound freedom. Dalv isn't quite a pro yet, but his organ playing nets him the occasional music festival appearance, and in-between he works on his kid's books. Ceroba would mainly be occupied just trying to keep amalgam kanako happy (though if there's a connection between her background and Japan, she at least visits a few shrines together) and when she doesn't visit her friends, she's working together with other amalgam families on treatment.
-in flawed pacifist, starlo has almost entirely lost the sheriff and western fascination due to his feelings on clover and justice as a whole, and busies himself on his family farm, occasionally paying respects to the ketsukanes. The feisty five become more distant friends and the wild east as a whole gradually loses its cowboy flavor without Starlo's enthusiasm and becomes more of a rural Hamlet in the dunes. Martlet and dalv are generally the same as above, but lack a strong friend group for support, especially with martlet and starlo never reconciling over Clover's choice . After the events of UT, starlo takes in kanako and cares for her as both struggle with the loss of Ceroba and feelings on humans in light of frisk and Clover's legacies. Starlo also takes a small roll in the steamworks restoration with alphys (below), but has nowhere near the same knowledge or attachment
-The connection to the surface eventually results in the resources for reflowering portions of the dunes, and the mines remain a source of mineral wealth for monsterkind.
*General AU Idea I had regarding Kanako as Flowey/an Equivalent
-The steamworks gets "restored" (cleaned out of important tools and research properly, and physically repaired but out of practical operation outside as a museum) post-pacifist. Most robots choose to stay in the only home they know (and could operate in) but any capable of moving at least have the freedom to leave, and it's now run as a historical location with Axis occasionally involved in tours (when he's not exploring the concept of freedom himself). Alphys contributes to the restoration work due to a combination of guilt for "faking" mettaton's nature and putting a lot of scientists out of a job, and Ceroba realizing she's still one of the best tech specialists left in the underground and asking for her help (and alphys naturally feels she owes it to her as a family member of an amalgamate).
-Kanako takes on a similar role to Flowey after a combination of Ceroba's soul essence injection and alphys' determination injections (Ceroba never told Alphys that there's already some injected in her) overload her past the amalgam point and her body melts too much to even hold together, eventually dusting and settling into a white flower from the steamworks that kanako kept from chujin as a memento. She grows the same lack of empathy and desire for thrill/power that drives flowey as lack of emotions and the ability to reset erodes her unwillingness to kill (as usually develops as a result of gaining reset power: see meta narrative on Frisk/Chara/the player). Eventually, this drives her to seek the souls and see what she could do with more power. her philosophy outside of those goals is that people only ever use each other as a means to an end, and trust or faith in others is a painful dead end (Chujin's plan and Ceroba's work hurt Kanako and she cynically sees it as an attempt at creating/clinging to legacy, she realized Alphys faked her credentials and was using the DT injections just for reputation, and she eventually realizes Asgore doesn't reaaaaally want to free his citizens the way he promised them but is too afraid to be honest and destroy their trust). There's an element of "kill or be killed" but based more in the belief that inherent selfishness means those who don't use others will be used. The integrity soul human themself isn't truly present, but their LV, though filtered, made it easier for Kanako to start hurting others, and lingering feelings of fear and hatred towards monsters combined with kanako's own trauma from a human created a deeper sense of distrust for all living things.
-outside her general philosophy being a bit different and putting down her parents and their friends a bit more (similar to Flowey holding more cynical views of his parents) her actions are like flowey for most of the game (so she largely masks her philosophy and her personal belief that she and Clover are trying to use each other). the only noticeable difference is that she's less reliant on pellets and more on energy infused attacks given the nature of the flower she's attached to. Part of her snapping in neutral in addition to just generally being angry clover won't open the way to killing asgore after years of trying to get them there is that she's PISSED clover would be so "stupid" as to throw their safety away by trusting Martlet. The inside of her head would have less of Flowey's self-harm elements and be marginally less twisted (it "helps" she isn't dealing with lingering remnants of Chara's mentality or death from humans like Asriel did) but instead there'd be a sense of loss of self from the amalgam experience she briefly felt manifesting as melty, goopy horror, and the fear she felt both then, and as a child when integrity attacked (and subconsciously, the fear Integrity held as Axis blew their head off).
-despite the Asriel comparisons I also really wanna try not making her mostly just "Asriel but UT yellow character." (which is also why I can't come up with an ending scenario since I feel it could rip off Asriel too much). I do think flowey's role in UTY works really work because it IS flowey and not someone like him (whether like his UT or UTY selves), I just also had the idea kanako might be flowey during my playthrough and I REALLY wanna explore that .
**variation of the above but placing the timeline further back.
-I have a less developed idea that sees this as part of a larger AU where yellow takes places before flowey or alphys. Chujin loses his job due to the core shutting down steamworks labs and the axis prototype incident ensuring he doesn't get to work as an individual researcher. The Integrity attack happens when kanako was just a baby, then a decade later is when chujin dies and Ceroba starts the serum plan. After kanako becomes fallen down, Ceroba does another injection since she's desperately clinging to the belief that chujin's idea HAS to work.
-That much human soul essence contains enough DT for it to partially melt Kanako and seemingly destroy her sentience, but her boss monster DNA (and the fact that it's not pure DT but filtered through human essence and is therefore slightly more self sustaining) keeps her soul and form resilient enough to survive as solo amalgamate. Ceroba keeps her locked in the Ketsukane house out of a mix of shame, fear of losing all her friends, and fear that Asgore would ask other scientist to poke at Kanako's soul (Ceroba herself would admit that she really isn't sure herself which one dominates her thinking, but it's probably more selfish than she would like). She tries her best to at least talk to her, feed her and comfort her while maintaining the facade of a normal life (she tells everyone Kanako got sick and passed away, and it was too much to bear to bring anyone to her funeral) Kanako slowly becomes less and less responsive. Months before Clover falls, Kanako's body comes into contact with a white flower from the steamworks, and the remnants of her soul jump into on after sensing a stable, "living" body, awakening as her time's version of flowey.
-I don't have too much of an idea for the ending of Clover's journey, but in this version Ceroba has at least given up on using Kanako for a monster soul and instead is aiming for Asgore's. Part of the shock of the Ketsukane household portion would not just be the tapes, but the fact that Kanako's now motionless, amalgamated body can be found right after. It's initially assumed to be from Chujin's research before the truth comes out.
-this probably breaks a TON of rules of both undertale and Yellow, so if anyone has a less stupid sounding version of this, it would be neat (and also how it would somehow end in such a way as to not interfere with Undertale)
*species swap/overtale yellow/monster clover:
-martlet's wings are a carpentry invention she made to make her job easier. They aren't exactly the most reliable equipment though...
- clover is a fox monster for a kanako parralel just as how Frisk and Chara are commonly goat monsters. Their aesthetic still leans on western cultural ideas about foxes as opposed to kitsune elements, with the hat over their ears plus scarf over their nose in populated areas hiding enough facial features to pass as human. Otherwise, they're a star monster to mirror fellow cowboy, starlo.
-All the robots are largely the same (since they aren't monsters), though there's an implication that integrity's monster counterpart's dust has had some unnatural effect on Axis' personality (nowhere near asriel's rebirth). Chujin had BADDLY underestimated how fragile monsters can be, and axis' attempt to harvest essence and dust without a proper protocol led to some of the dust getting within his internal systems.
-one of the uncomfortable facts that clover is confronted with towards the end of each route is that if/when the monsters died, there would be no real way to know what dust is theirs or where they are now.
-part of the reason clover stands a chance is because their gun, unlike the rest of clover, is not magic but instead physical with a bit of extra kick from magic infusion. And a murder-high/genocide route naturally gets a little bloody... (though most kill would at least be "clean" enough shots through the chest)
-in each route, clover undergoes their own "undying"-esque transformation based on overwhelming justice that feeds into determination, resulting in the equivalent of their big shot mode. In neutral, flowey reducing them to their soul in his mind means their magic is no longer tied to a body or the danger of the real world and can desperately concentrate on self defense, in pacifist, Ceroba lands a clean hit and clover's sense of betrayal and desire for a just end pushes them to take one last stand (regardless of pacifist outcome, they don't have a strong enough soul for it to last forever). In Geno, axis manages to land the same killing blow he did on integrity, and clover is strong enough to spend the remainder of the story in their undying mode. Asgore manages to actually land his own fatal blow that would kill them in moments, but clover survived long enough to kill him and take his soul, leaving it ambiguous if it saves them.
*what-if: Ceroba succeeds in capturing Clover's soul
-basically what it says. Ceroba manages to get clover all the way to true lab (including pushing past alphys and mettaton) before Starlo warns them (or alternatively, if for some reason Flowey didn't reset the timeline when she takes Clover's soul in the pacifist fight). After the initial shock in true lab, Ceroba realizes one of the amalgams is Kanako. Even though part of her admits her plan won't work with the state her daughter's soul is in, she's too desperate to reverse her daughter's condition and after coming across Alphys' entry 17 (unused in-game, but her speech on how monsters can't handle DT), backstabs Clover in the hopes that their soul can act as a weight on the determination that overloaded the amalgam's body. Flowey's aversion to true lab plus the speed and chaos of events happening make him too slow to control the timeline since the amalgamate has enough determination to go beyond his file (a full human soul plus a DT injection plus a human essence injection plus boss monster DNA plus other monsters). The body stabilizes into a chimera, and all the monsters in the amalgam plus clover have their own sense of self and degree of control over their body (picture Asriel + Chara but way more chaotic, with kanako and clover as the ones most commonly in control). Everybody is confused and terrified, and Angst and tragedy ensue. Kanako isn't really happy that an innocent human had to die for her sake, and Clover is caught between anger at being betrayed, and their own recognition of the injustice Kanako and all the amalgamated monsters have endured.
*"Ketsukane Reborn"/Clover shares a soul with Kanako
-not my idea at all (there are quite a few cool takes on this), but yeah, clover shares their soul with Kanako similar to Dreemurr Reborn. Kanako has less angst about Clover giving up their soul (they're still sorry of course, but they didn't ever try to hurt Clover, and clover gave their soul up since it wouldn't be just to let them suffer so they're okay enough with what happened) and the two can be surprisingly in-sync with a mix of Kanako's enthusiasm (Kid was hopeful enough that her parent's serum would work) and Clover's desire for justice, compared to Asriel/Frisk being a bit more solemn and differing
-Since both of them keep their eyes open, the main way to tell who's more in control is the eye hue: Brown for Kanako, and Yellow for Clover.
-The monster side of the soul offers support in shooting sections with the same additions that ralsei and susie provide during spamton Neo (with the protection closer to Ceroba's diamond shields).
-Ceroba absolutely broke down SOBBING in a mix of joy and sadness to have her daughter back and for how much Clover gave. Clover assuring her it was okay was one of the first times they manifested.
-If they ever actually meet Dreemurr Reborn Asriel/Frisk, Asriel talks with Clover a lot apologizing for all he put them through, and Kanako talks with Frisk thanking them for not fearing her in True Lab.
-the human essence in kanako was the only reason why her body was even stable enough to absorb Clover's soul (clover confirmed this themselves before they gave it up), but even still, she does feel that it's unfair she got a second chance that no other amalgamates did. As they get older, the two search the world for the history of monster souls to see if there's any cure.
*Underswap yellow:
-I don't have ideas for most swaps since the cast mostly don't come in pairs, but in a role but not personality swap AU, Ceroba would swap with starlo and goes full weeaboo running the Far West. She's not anime weeb (though that's her equivalent to western movies as research material) but more like, glorious Nippon, edo-era, ken-sama shit. Starlo is a peaceful enough farmer who packs a gun after seeing its power in his interactions with human culture (if clover swaps, he got the gun they left behind when they died). Ceroba is moreso putting on act of overblowing what is "tradition" while making it more "trendy" based on human trash in waterfall in order to appeal to other monsters even though she wants to honor her family's legacy (not just her immediate family but ancestors), and Starlo leans into it more than Ceroba does for him. The culmination of the arc would more be her frustration with a self-imposed obligation to put up an act that celebrates the human alterations and ignores how her family and own personality really are, compared to Starlo getting too caught up in the act, and she is much more willing to kill a human for personal reasons.
-If clover does swap with another human, it's either patience (a la their items appearing in the ruins in ts!underswap) or integrity (as the major human of yellow's backstory). Whoever swapped with clover is the one going through the journey with yellow's cast and theming is closer to their soul, while clover went through the events the original human they swapped with did.
-Asgore, Toriel, undyne, napstablook, and Temmie are mostly the same as however you view/prefer their underswap selves. Running with the doll idea, neutral ending Temmie's memories feature a lot of ripped apart and mutilated dolls and stuffing, and an "odd" focus on a lack of arms... On Geno route they get absolutely ripped to shreds as their plush's body parts come off.
--Alternatively, going with the Asriel and Chara swap (the other one I usually see), then Chara-as-Flowey would DETEST Clover the instant their mask slips in neutral/genocide. They still wouldn't reveal their backstory, but there would be hints at the fact that they're pretty familiar with humans and have a VERY low impression of humanity (Clover's counterpart not excluded), even if circumstances have lowered their empathy for monsters as well. During true pacifist, Clover's counterpart's act of selflessness for the sake of monsterkind earns their begrudging respect, while during Geno, Chara-flowey promises them that they aren't all powerful and will have consequences some day like all humans (I've never really seen a consistent elaborated form of this swap so I kind of just ran with my own ideas of it, without too much personality swapping)
*Underfell Yellow
-I forget the general plot/backstory people go with and I haven't seen the original version in YEARS so I don't have much for Undertale/fell cast members who appear, aside that flowey was genuinely siding with Clover most of the journey and sends them away from toriel for their safety (from Toriel or the rest of the underfell underground is your call). Clover gives him the okay to move on without them once they realize there's no route in which Clover escapes without massive amounts of dustshed, but he's still shaken by losing them and it affects his relationship with Frisk on top of Frisk's connection to Chara.
-Martlet is motivated by a desire to climb the royal guard's (or their underfell equivalent) promotion ladder by ANY means for the power and prestige it brings. she tries to fake being clover's ally but is really, really bad at hiding her intentions so they usually avoid any backstab easily enough. She really shouldn't be qualified for the job, but she managed to cheat the initial results and competition for a position.
-starlo I already saw a cool bandit concept for and there is no improving on that
-ceroba's life went on a downward spiral ever since she married chujin only for him to become a disgraced, laughingstock of a scientist and leave the family broke, and then went on to focus all his efforts on soul and robotics projects with no care for the family before he had the "decency" to pass away. Ceroba is baddly shaken, and without realizing it, starts emotionally manipulating Kanako with the idea that her mother works very hard, is very tired, and needs more help to care for her child (not entirely untrue, but Kanako thinks it's somehow her own fault). After discovering Chujin's serum idea, Ceroba becomes borderline negligent trying to create the injection, with Kanako finding out and putting herself forward as a test subject in the belief that anything to help her mom is good. Ceroba at this point is too desperate to even question if she shouldn't do this, and we all know what happens next (though Kanako coming under the care of Underfell alphys is pretty bad...). All she has left is a degrading existence as a paid assistant to starlo's gang, having given up on her husband's plan or that Kanako might recover, but Clover's pure soul has given her a new plan that might salvage her family's dignity
-chujin has actively tuned up axis to be as much of a human murder machine as he can be after the integrity incident, partly to spite asgore and the royal guard by showing his creation is superior to anything they could ever hope to do, and partly out of a burning hatred of humanity. Axis has a sympathetic personality from his initial creation when chujin was less bitter and exploring the potential of artificial intelligence for good, but it's buried amongst data screaming at him to kill humans, and little is left for monsters or robots besides indifference (in a bit of blatant symbolism, his heart is now cracked from disrepair). In his more comical moments, think of abridged android 16 if he didn't have a bird interest.
*Outertale Yellow:
-Okay I really have nothing for this except the fact that at least one "star fox" joke with the Ketsukanes (and also Martlet, froggits, and any rabbit NPC) would be very funny to me.
*Storyshift Yellow:
-This one I don't have real ideas for at all (especially because I'm embarrassingly behind on the reboot and I don't wanna put lazy headcanons on it), but if Clover somehow fell before Chara (considering how neither of the skeletons are referenced in UTY), their fate would influence how the Dreemurrs attempt to keep Chara alive.
-Sans immediately pulls out his instant kill cage on clover in flawed pacifist unlike asgore having dodgeable attacks, and admits how blatantly unfair it is for the kid. On Geno, he would normally try to put up a fight during genocide even if recognized he would eventually lose, but he sees Clover's fight with Martlet's equivalent and admits he can't even hope to delay clover or make them reset enough as soon as he realizes they have counters for his tricks (laser during his turn which makes it much harder to dodge, attacking outside of battle, the natural advantages of resetting) after one or two reloads. He does manage to leave them with a comment asking whether the slaughter and chaos and hatred that will follow was worth it or just.
*Inverted Fate:
-I don't really have anything concrete for this either since I admittedly missed a lot of backstory, plus the creator already said Clover's journey would be incompatible with the the AU (and I'm not creative enough to imagine where/"when" most of the yellow cast would be in IF's world). That said, as a what-if, I do think It'd be neat if Flowey went through Yellow before the timeline reset and that a part of Asriel was still affected by that time with Clover (if only for how they weren't Chara, just as how he's dismissive of Frisk, as further evidence to himself of Chara's importance and specialness).
-I do think Martlet could also be interesting to examine due to anti-human sentiment becoming much more normalized thanks to both the backstory and Undyne's actions. Martlet would be a more dedicated member of the Royal Guard (and a little older than she is in UTY) who wouldn't be as friendly to frisk, but she can't help but have doubts.
*Poketale Yellow/pokemon themed AU where everyone is a Pokemon/Mystery Dungeon choices:
-Clover is a Jolteon
-flowey is a sunflora
-decibat is noibat,
-Dalv is golbat (I could find surprisingly few vampire-esque pokemon. Also, while acrobat matches the color scheme better, dalv is relatively weak and too isolated to have fully evolved).
-martlet is quaxwell (she evolves in Geno route. and I know she's not a duck but I found surprsingly few good blue bird pokemon besides ducklett, or Articuno)
-bailador is Hawlucha,
-starlo is like a junior Solgaleo (mainly on account of his parents, and I just can't see cosmoem or staryu working well. Feel free to make them work or come up with a better fit like a special solrock or minior)
-Ceroba is Ninetales (she usually hides her tails outside of battle, and they only show in full for the pacifist final)
-chujin is thievul
-Kanako is a vulpix, but she has a few traits of a thievul
-axis is golett.
(Feel free to put any of your own ideas for them, i'm sure i missed some new pokemon that are better fits. I just like Jolteon clover to go with Eevee frisk)
*Dreemurr/Ketsukane Swap (including Chara with the Dreemurrs).
-The dreemurrs aren't royalty, but rather "just" the monster equivalent of nobility, while the ketsukanes sit on the throne. King Chujin has a much less trusting view of humanity, but the Dreemurrs pleaded to him that an exception be made so long they ensured Chara never hurt anyone. As there was less pressure to be the "future" of monsters, Chara never developed the same sense of responsibility or duty to destroy the barrier for monsterkind. Their hatred of humanity remained though, and combined with their exposure to more average monsters and the sense that they were a burden on monsterkind, they wanted to be part of a "weapon" for all of their family's fellow monsters. They convinced Asriel to go ahead with their plan hoping that their fused soul might contain the essence necessary to empower all monsters to take revenge with a source of near infinite determination. Asriel/Chara stayed hidden from society after convincing asgore and Toriel that Chara died of a natural illness and the fusion was an accident, and begging that no one find out what happened lest they become saddled as monsterkind's saviors (really because chara wants all monsterkind to be powerful enough for war first and doesn't want them to have false hope until the power is in their hands). They secretly worked together with Chujin to extract the essence of their soul after convincing him of the potential and banking on his general distrust of humanity and faith in science to free monsterkind. Chujin realizes it's risky but after Chara already sacrificed themselves for this plan, he can't refuse.
- As kids who didn't fully think things through and a king working in secret without other scientists, the plan did not work at all. The Raw energy of Chara and Asriel's determination basically went berserk in response to an extraction attempt, leaving the fusion as an amalgamate constantly melting and reforming from attempts to save and load. Chujin was too guilt-ridden to tell the truth of what happened to Asgore and Toriel, so he lied to them that Asriel/Chara broke into his personal lab and tried the experiment on themselves and died, begging the Dreemurrs to tell everyone else it was a disease so that no one questions the sudden disappearance of a human. The body is too well hidden for the Dreemurrs to question anything at first, and they leave to grieve.
-Asgore is the first to realize something is off and eventually finds the amalgamate. He comes close to killing Chujin in rage for hiding his children's survival and mutation, but is stopped at the last second by Asriel (just sentient enough to protect Chujin since it was partly his and Chara's fault, but unable to communicate that to Asgore) Chujin swears that he thought finding them like this would be worse than thinking they died, then promises that if Asgore keeps this a secret to everyone, then the two can work towards a cure. Asgore hates that he was lied to, but still believes that Chara and Asriel tried to extract the essence on their own, so he accepts the proposal as Chujin's form of apology. Asgore works himself ragged through tests on his soul seeing if the growth between boss monster parents and children or a stable boss monster soul might reform the children, far past the safety point that Chujin recommends, but nothing works. As his condition pushes past the point of no return, Chujin finally realizes that another human soul would be the only thing powerful enough to restore the children, and bitterly passes the information on to Asgore, believing it's hopeless one would appear like Chara.
-This whole time, Asgore kept everything a secret from Toriel even as she became worried about his health. On his deathbed, he admits the truth (as he knows it) to her and apologizes for lying about their children since he didn't want her to see them so disfigured, but with no hope for recovery they have been secretly transported home without chujin's knowledge (leaving him constantly afraid they may one day reappear). Asgore begs Toriel to keep the same promise of secrecy and tells her that a human soul is Asriel and Chara's only hope. Toriel is infuriated with Chujin but out of Asgore's wishes, she never tells anyone and keeps them hidden, while planning to take a human soul should the chance ever arise
-Toriel DESPISES herself for the killing she's planning to do even if it's for saving her kids (that it's for them is the only reason she even takes this path), and though she believes that Asgore and Chujin both lied to her (the later not receiving any sympathy), she still blames herself for everything that led to the transformation even though she really is innocent ("if only I paid more attention") and is caught between her protective urges and her mission. She fights with a cult-like animal mask based on a goat (like a stereotypical image of Pagan, fertility European religions), giving her longer horns and a generally demonic appearance.
*Deltarune / Deltarune Yellow (whether it's the Yellow Cast in regular Deltarune or in Hometown's past is your call, but most of these apply to the former):
-Martlet is stuck doing a bunch of odd jobs around hometown since she hasn't really decided on a careeer or college. She's related to Berdly as a way older cousin, and the age gap that puts her in higher end of asriel's age group means they don't really hang out much.
-Dalv is another shut-in, though he occasionally submits anonymous organ recordings and children's books to the library.
-Decibat is one of the workers at the library and can be most counted on to shush anyone, even anyone else trying to shush someone.
-Starlo runs a movie watching club focused on westerns. The rest of the feisty five put up with it but each has their own genres they prefer
-Bailador runs a really weird dance aerobics program at a local gym.
-the Ketsukanes would be one of the more notable families in town like the Dreemurrs and Holidays (like how Toriel runs the school, asgore ran the police, and Noelle's mom is the mayor) due to chujin being a capable inventor (in his case, less authority in town and more out of town fame that trickles back home) and his and ceroba's families both having lived there for decades, but he had a pretty big falling out incident with Dreemurrs regarding their choice to adopt Kris (he didn't trust having a human in the community, let alone the chief of police having one). After that public blowup with Asgore, Kris was mysteriously attacked in the woods while alone, and while there was no official evidence of who did it (Kris was too young and too hurt to remember) and no one was charged, rumors quickly singled out chujin and his reputation was destroyed, since no one wanted to be friendly to someone who hurt a Dreemurr (though most townsfolks are more worried about Toriel, asgore, and Asriel's feelings than kris'). The family moved away to a city where he works with the tech and robotics companies he already designed for--the irony that in spite of his hatred for humans he now has to live in an environment full of them as well monsters has not been lost on him, but he's too stubborn to go back or make up with the dreemurrs and just avoids humans as much as possible now. The ketsukanes.generally dress more like a "modern" Japanese family (e.g. Kanako wears a school uniform), though chujin isn't quite a salaryman.
-Ceroba occasionally visits to talk with her old friend Starlo and pay respects to family buried in the town cemetery, but otherwise she's grown distant from most of the people living there and has awkward talks about her family's new life which are mostly done out of politeness obligations. She isn't distrusting of Kris like Chujin is, but given the nature of Chujin leaving, they're naturally not comfortable around each other (she wishes Kris could remember what happened that day and exonerate her husband, while Kris knows it wasn't chujin and feels guilty for being unable to absolve him, but they still dread thinking about that attack and being reminded of those who refuse to accept them as part of other monsters), and Toriel is very cold toward Ceroba since that's the closest person to chujin she can take out her anger on.
-Kanako was pretty young at the time (she's currently Asriel's age, and left when she was just 7 or 8 when Kris was a newly adopted younger sibling), so she's not too close to Asriel and Dess' school group and she never really knew Kris' school group (she's never met Susie before the events of Deltarune, and she only saw Kris once or twice due to her father's hostility--she mostly knows Noelle and catti thanks to her time with their older sisters). The rare times she visits with her mom during summer is her mostly just her seeing what's changed, telling her old class what city life is like and awkwardly trying to get to know the town's teens as an older teen/young adult (most of them are weirded out since they don't really know her except from their parents talking about chujin unfavorably, Kris is too quiet and too uncomfortable about what happened to get close, and Noelle's own problems with Dess make it hard to talk since the original in-between point for them is now gone). She might have ended up as Asriel and Dess' friend or at least someone they occasionally talk to online since they were too young to fully get what happened or blame her, but Dess' disappearance left just Asriel and kanako, and the ketsukane-dreemurr family history made it too awkward to talk as just the two of them, so they stopped keeping up around high school.
- Some of Chujin's old concept sketches on an automated police robot that can still be found in the station's files are basically axis without the steampunk pipes or heart design. If one file was part of the dark world it would resemble a sleeker axis insecure about being incomplete, with the spare requirement being to "finish" building him (if you do so, he ends up falling in love with the machine to thrash your ass, and much hilarity ensues with rouxls and sweet cap'n cakes in hometown). Noelle's cool robot face is needed to briefly placate him since his facial recognition concept was never exactly well developed (blame chujin's biases for making him associate human faces with criminals, and not really working out a monster face).
-clover is a kid in asriel's age group who happens to both go to the same college as him, and was friends with kanako in high school (ironically, as much as chujin didn't want a human in hometown, he accepted that in a city would realistically be impossible to keep kanako away from any. Most what keeps him away from hometown is his pride + sunk cost fallacy at this point). However, clover doesn't realize Asriel and kanako knew each other for a while since they (clover) never saw a need to bring up one to the other, and the two of them didn't ever mention the past (and kanako herself goes to a different college). That connection would only come up as part of any storyline you do
*Deltatraveler yellow:
-note: I know that deltatraveler has a set plan of chapters, and I doubt this could freely drop in-between any of them with no trouble--this is just a what-if I can see happening towards the end of the journey, but at least before toontown. Also, I would not assume by default that Kris, Susie, or Noelle know any of the Deltarune counterparts I imagined above, since they're coming from a universe closer to the Deltarune we know.
-Neutral: Kris, susie, and Noelle all get dropped into the steamworks (at a point between its shutdown and Clover entering) and accidentally turn on Axis. Shenanigans ensue, including Noelle pulling out a cool robot face that manages to placate Axis multiple times as Kris sneaks away and Susie getting pissed off at the lab puzzles. She and Noelle get stuck in the factory and they come out with the guide robot screen stuck on susie's weapon. Kris gets stuck in the lab and deals with both Axis and Yellow's Flowey who's confused about how his Determination is being overridden and tries to kill Kris, though before a fight can happen Axis interferes. The rest of the gang doesn't entirely realize they're in a version of the underground (no monsters besides sans, and they aren't familiar enough with the references to other people/places) until Kris tells Susie they ran into Flowey again, and on cue he appears. Since he's a different flowey who doesn't know the rest of them vs the main one tailing them, Susie can instantly cut the bullshit with him and tries to take him out, but once again Axis interferes, and UTY flowey leaves. After the encounter, the main chapter 1 Flowey appears unbeknownst to anyone and plans to use the experience with his counterpart to get a better read on how to deal with Kris, Susie, and Noelle.
-sans takes the place of Mo and mentions he hasn't ever been here even though it feels familiar to him for some reason but also...not. (he's alluding to the underground as a whole, and that he's not from Yellow's universe/timeline).
-pacifist: Ceroba appears early on after noticing one of Chujin's devices in her home went off (it was linked to Axis activity). Upon realizing there's a pure human soul (she really sensed it before the gang sees her, and it's implied she avoids them on neutral as a result to leave the job of killing Kris to Asgore and the Guard since she doesn't need the soul or care much for asgore's plan if it's at 5 souls already), she approaches as an ally to get the gang to Hotland and the royal scientist (Susie is annoyed that she won't outright fight back against robots like the rest of the team). She recognizes Kris' soul is odd, but she's confident enough in it being "pure" and keeps trying to pull them to the side to earn sympathy points while seperating them from Susie and Noelle and just generally being a bit of a control freak which puts Kris, Susie, and Noelle on edge. She accompanies Kris through the factory and "accidentally" gets cut off from Susie and Noelle, during which time she really tries to butter up Kris as an ally. Susie and Noelle catch up soon after the lab and accidentally trip an alarm that alerts the underground to the group's presence, causing Ceroba to panic, grab Kris, and run for it before getting separated from Susie and Noelle in Axis' arena. After repelling Axis, Ceroba tries to make a play for kris' soul, but they make it clear to her their soul cannot be trusted or controlled even if they were comfortable letting her use it. The gang is angry that she lied to them and tried to kill one of them, though at least Noelle can't help but feel sorry (without agreeing) after she admits her desire to uphold chujin's legacy and help kanako (without ever explicitly admitting what happened). In turn, once she hears the trio has their own family to get back to, she promises to grab the royal guard's attention and hold them off, assuring them the royal scientist might recognize kris' soul wouldn't work for the kingdom's needs and help them leave to avoid trouble.
-obliteration: Because the soul forces the group's way into the steamworks without turning it on, Ceroba isn't alerted at first and Axis is force booted in safe mode. The soul destruction scene includes Mo making a brief appearance (sans ain't gonna help you outside of key locations, so mo ends up running into the group none the wiser while attempting to scrounge around for stuff to sell), and for trying to kill someone that doesn't even pick a fight and still tries to help after the first threat, Kris slam dunks the soul into the pink goop. (Alternatively: during the lab portion Kris pours the acid on the soul if you attempt to make them drink it). The rest of the gang is a mix of desensitized and tired enough to let the Soul destroy Axis ("helps" he's just a robot to them) in the second encounter if Kris is forced to catch him in time--failing to do so drops obliteration. The final fight is with Ceroba after Axis' danger signal manages to trigger one of Chujin's devices, and she realizes you're not only destroying Chujin's work, but a threat to the whole underground (and kanako in particular since you're going in the same direction where Kanako currently is) while bitterly noting that of course the next human would be impure. She uses shields, red attacks, the steamworks itself, and a partner to put up a hard fight against kris, susie, and noelle given how powerful they are at this point. From there I can see two different partners
--If it's still pre-clover, Ceroba is accompanied by Starlo since he refused to let her explore alone and together they can put up a hell of a fight in sync (especially with starlo getting more serious, and providing more unpredictable attacks to counterbalance Ceroba's). If Ceroba dies first, the full weight of the situation hits him and he starts bringing out some magic based on both his farm background and his astral nature. If Starlo dies first, Ceroba curses that she sees yet another person close to her die and pulls out her mask, going into a lighter version of her pacifist phases (she's more righteously angry, but can't hold onto the same hope for chujin's legacy that pushed her in pacifist). I feel like Ceroba would go down first since she could shield any attacks plus starlo never gets a "hard" fight, but I could also see him trying to jump in front of a heavy attack meant for Ceroba that she wouldn't have time to shield up for.
--If it's closer to Yellow (perhaps because the grind takes so long that the events in steamworks go from corresponding with right before Clover to the Dunes and Wild East?), Ceroba is accompanied by a pacifist clover who tagged along despite her insistence not to (If they either die or somehow win, her plan is impossible to fulfill, plus she has enough basic decency to be uncomfortable putting a child up against killers). If clover goes down first, she naturally goes rage mode at losing both an innocent child and her plan (and the soul/Kris sense that "someone"/Flowey tried to reset but couldn't), and she goes diet pacifist like before. If Ceroba goes down first, clover's LV jumps to 8 in rage and they pull out big shots and dodges (they aren't high enough LV for the laser, but will spam big shots late in the fight) alongside attacks based on Undertale Yellow's attack system and the yellow soul portion of photoshop Flowey. Susie and Noelle flat out refuse any participation the second Clover gets involved, and when it falls to just clover they outright assist them against the soul (Susie and Noelle will force spare themselves but they can't spare clover since Clover is too enraged to back down from the fight). After landing the killing blow, clover's soul slowly starts charging the laser in a last ditch attack, but it shatters before it can fire, and they collapse. In this case, I think Ceroba would always die first thanks to protecting Clover, but I want to consider the possibility of her surviving as a what-if. The gang can't exactly fall much further than killing Ness and Paula (plus whatever happens in Ts!underswap with Chara), but being unable to stop the soul from forcing a kill on clover even with their assistance would be one of the second-to-last straws.
-the elevator to Hotland proper is a grey door. The gang is...a tad exasperated by this (Susie: "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?") but accept that they have no real choice since the way before the arena is blocked and either the commotion from axis or the obliteration route has notified the guard to their presence.
Doubt anyone will read my ramblings or be seriously inspired, but I just love this game, and I love to imagine it together with all the other cool stuff in Undertale and fandom

What's your favorite game?
SHA WHY MUST YOU ASK SUCH DIFFICULT QUESTIONS….
this will be a very long answer brace yourself
obviously one of my top favourite games is hollow knight for obvious reasons like the breathtaking soundtrack, stunning visuals, natural flowing gameplay thats just difficult enough so that its rewarding but doesnt make you extremely mad in the process, extraordinary lore and exceptional characters and character designs… i dont have enough words of praise in my lexicon for this game and i absolutely cannot wait for silksong!
then one of my favourite nintendo franchises in existence: splatoon. so many memories from when the first game came out, the nostalgia, the uniqueness of it all. nintendo truly outdid themselves, they made an enjoyable shooter game that is incredibly special and there is nothing like it.
night in the woods, one of my favourite story based games. the soundtrack is amazing, the artstyle inspires me a lot, and the story is really interesting and tackles mental health really well which a lot of games just cant do these days because developers dont put in enough research.
undertale and deltarune. i cant answer an ask about my favourite games without mentioning those two. undertale is a masterpiece with a phenomenal soundtrack, wonderful characters and a story that tugs on your heartstrings in just the right ways, and after all these years it still makes me tear up wether its just listening to the soundtrack or watching yet another playthrough of it. and deltarune is following in its footsteps really well, even though it may not even be complete yet. these games are so incredibly unique and i admire toby fox so much…
pokemon sun and moon are my favourite pokemon games… they may be easier than the older gens, but they hold a special place in my heart because of all the alolan pokemon designs, the story and the characters.
celeste.. oh gosh that game… tackles the ever so difficult topic of mental health so incredibly well, with the beautifully composed soundtrack by lena raine and the art… the gameplay is almost natural, you pick it up easily as soon as you start playing… the level designs are incredible…
bugsnax. i think the designs of all the bugs are incredible, i love the dark story and all the queer rep they have… fun to play and i think they did an amazing job with it!
paper mario and the origami king was the first paper mario game i played myself and boy was it an experience… i loved all of the small details, the gameplay never got repetitive and i will admit that the end made me cry a little. i was slightly afraid to pick it up at first since ive heard stories about the two most recent paper mario games that came before it were terrible, but this game was worth it.
yoshis woolly world! this game means so much to me… i used to play it with my grandpa in co-op mode and those are some of my most cherished memories, every time i think of that game i get really happy… the gameplay itself was incredibly fun too!
minecraft had to be on this list. ive been playing this game since 2012, ive seen it grow and shape into the incredible game it is today. it has sparked so much creativity from all sorts of different people… the insanely detailed and breathtaking builds, the genius redstone and command block contraptions, the endless numbers of servers you can play on and the limitless possibilities with mods… its probably one of the best games of all time no matter how much the internet tries fighting about it. arguably one of the most influential games as well.
there are so many more id love to mention but i feel like ive written a little too much 😭

I just suddenly imagined Blitzwing in a kimono tooting a bamboo flute that he himself made for his own size for some weird reason and probably had to look for some membrane for the said flute in a different location, plus decorating it. Like, he was just bored someday and just probably wanted to hang out with Bumblebee, so he shows him the new kimono, then the decorated flute he made with his bare hands and starts playing it to see if Bee likes it. Bee, though confused of what Blitzwing is doing, asks how did he manage to make a bamboo flute and kept Lugnut from breaking it. Blitzwing then responds with, "I just practiced vith et vhen Lugnut is nicht around.", which Bumblebee nods, knowing that Blitzwing's carving skills do make him become one hell of a flute maker.
Then, Blitzwing tells Bee a funny story that Megatron one time walked in to his habsuite while he was just practicing a tune for some things to be run through, which Megatron mildly bobbed his head to the tune, so he kept playing to see if Megatron would dance to the beat. Apparently, Megatron did slightly move his shoulders in a slight dance, but apparently invites Starscream and Shockwave to the flute playing scene, which they look at Blitz in confusion at first, noticing Megatron seemingly enjoying the tune, which both Scream and Shock slightly groove to it, Soundwave curiously coming in, dancing too.
The flute-practice-now-turned-into-a-small-dance-party is going so well until a shouting voice of "MEGATRON!!", comes in from Lugnut himself, which Megatron, Starscream, and Shockwave mildly panic a bit from hearing Lugnut from the corridor, Blitzwing only being startled, Shockwave gesturing Blitzwing to put his flute away in a safe spot to avoid it from being destroyed by Lugnut, which he obliges. Soundwave facepalms from Lugnut interrupting the groove. Blitzwing then just goes back to work and the place is melodramatic as usual.
The other four Decepticons go up to Lugnut to see if he had found anything in general, but after a few minutes later when the five leave the corridor, here comes Blackarachnia, asking Blitzwing from the doorway, "Can you play the Spider Dance from Undertale? Soundwave played it to me and I've heard a rumor that you had a bamboo flute, so can you do a cover of it?", which Blitzwing replies (Random Face), "As longk as Lugnut is nicht dere, shure, haha.", then gets out the bamboo flute once again and starts playing a cover of it, BA having fun and dancing to it like there's no tomorrow. He really was legit wanting to light up the mood of his place by practicing without Lugnut present, that's just all. Blackarachnia then finishes dancing to the flute, then just waves off Blitz (swapping back to his Icy Face) and he goes back to work, flute hidden away well.
After Bee hears the story, he laughs in a bit of amusement and wonder of how some of the 'Cons manage to entertain each other when they can't think of doing a certain bad thing to each other or the 'Bots in general, unlike the constant shouting he would sometimes see between them. Blitzwing just knew that he literally managed to entertain some of the members of the faction he is in. It was like a rarity a Decepticon would see.
As both Blitz and Bee leave the area and go back to their bases, little does Blitzwing know, he is getting a surprise in the base. It was something that he literally wouldn't forget. He then hears a nice cool ratatata of a marching drum and wonders who is playing it.
Blitzwing walks in, seeing Shockwave being the one beating the drum to a nice beat, which Blitzwing then asks, "How did du manage to make dat drum?". Shockwave then said, " I just found some spare scrap metal parts, looked up how to build one and here I am, with a pair of some forged metal reinforced sticks, practicing it too.", in a happy mood. No wonder he inspired Shockwave to make his own instrument for entertainment.
It ends with both of them practicing both of their own handcrafted instruments indeed.

I had a fun idea!
I have no idea how many of you are aware of this, but I used to be a big fan is Eddsworld. ((Don't stop reading yet, this will eventually Circle back to Danganronpa))
Back when I was really active in the fan base, I had made this AU involving one of my hobbies, that being making masquerade masks. The concept was that there was a cult of people who had cut themselves off from the rest of society and hid themself away under a forest, creating their own society which required everyone to wear masquerade masks. They called themselves The Masqueraders
Masqueraders get their masks from their teachers at the age of 15, and whatever masks they got they got to decorate, but the specific type of mask reflected who they are as a person, basically a visual indicator of their behavior. Of course this is fundamentally flawed as people's personalities can change over time, but they can't change their masks once they get them, so they're permanently stuck with this mask that represents someone they might not be any more.
I thought it would be really fun to bring this concept into Danganronpa, basically keep the exact same concept but use Danganronpa characters for it. In the original Au, I had Edd be a normal person, and the rest of the characters were Masqueraders, but this time I think I'm going to mainly stay focused on only Kokichi and Shuichi, making this a saioma au.
So, Saiouma Masqueraders au!
Kokichi is a Masquerader dawning a clown mask; like his maks indicates, back in school he was very much a comical people-pleaser, but the older he got the more he grew to hate his mask, people often not taking him seriously because of it and assuming he was stupid; this led to him deciding to rebelle. Although he was unable to change his mask without getting in such serious trouble he would likely end up horribly punished, that didn't stop him from doing petty crime, collecting a bunch of other Masqueraders who also felt as though their masks for morso burdens than helpful indicators to become his gang.
Shuichi is a Detective from the standard society, he was assigned a case involving locals believing there might be a group of possibly dangerous cultist out in the forest next to their town. The rumors about this had been passed down from generation to to generation, but more recent sightings of supposed cult members finally pushed the mayor to hire somebody to go check it out. So, Shuichi set out to settle the townsfolks minds.
During his search, Shuichi ends up getting lost in the forest and eventually stumbles across a pretty big clearing- but unfortunately despite the clear area he wasn't able to get any cell service. He figured it's a good idea to take a break there at least as it is a big clearing with plenty of warm sunlight as opposed to the cold and damp foliage he was just walking through. He leand against a tree, elbow bumping a low branch by mistake; like some sort of fantasy rpg he swore he's played before, the branch made a clicking sound and came down like a pulled level, causing the ground underneith Shuichi's feet to give out.
When Shuichi woke up with a dull pain in his everything, he wasn't half burried in some sort of boobytrap sinkhole, but rather laying bandaged up in someone's bed; that said someone was looming over him, a clown mask covering their face. Well... he found the cult-....
From there, the story is basically Kokichi trying to get Shuichi out of there without getting caught by the Masquerader law enforcement, hijinks and gay insues.
This was the exact same plot that I had for the Eddsworld version- minus the gay, and looking back on it it feels slightly undertale inspired, which I don't think I realized I was doing at the time, but it isn't a bad plot. The only truely undertale-esque things in here is the falling down into an underground Society thing, and trying to get out alive; the rest is somewhat unique.
Anywho, enjoy the repurposed au!
I have another one from my time in the Eddsworld community, but I'm going to have to tweak it quite a bit to make it work for Danganronpa.

I like this theory. I think it has a lot of holes, but Deltarune deals with a lot of escapism ideas, so the thought of Kris imagining this whole world they keep coming back to makes a lot of sense. It’s also really sad to then think of the post-true pacifist Flowey dialogue in this narrative.
I think the biggest piece of evidence for this theory is how important the Dreemurrs are in Undertale proportional to other characters. Having Toriel and Asgore as King and Queen, and respectively the first and last characters seen, plus the first and last bosses, the choice to stay with Toriel after the game ends, and much much more puts them on a level of significance above everyone else. And, of course, Flowey, arguably the most significant character in the game, who just also happens to be part of the Dreemurr family. It all makes more sense if Kris is the one imagining this whole story, where they would put the people they knows the most in the most significant roles.
I also like all the fun little parallels. Goal of Undertale is to reach Asgore’s castle? Represents how hard it is for Kris to bring themself to visit him. Asriel is basically gone forever, but still stuck as an evil remnant of himself that constantly sticks around? Kris feels like they’ll never see Asriel, but yet feels his lingering presence with how much everyone talks about him, and his trophies across the room, which leads Kris to despise him ever so slightly.
My only remaining thought is that I feel this would happen more than over the course of one night. The stuff about loss of control and souls makes more sense in Undertale once we bring in Deltarune’s plot, but something makes more sense to me about Kris, in the midst of their sea of loneliness prior to our involvement in their life, would imagine a world based on all their real life friends and family where they could truly feel something.
The only last note is Gaster, because of course it is. What if- hear me out- Kris’s transformation into our little puppet to play Deltarune through was not instantaneous. What if Gaster was having some kind of effect on Kris beforehand, twisting himself into their dream world ever so slightly, and maybe that feeling of slowly losing control was what inspired Kris to do a genocide run. And to me, most interestingly, the clam girl who in the switch version of Undertale turns the Gaster follower color and tells Frisk that the time they’ll meet ‘suzy’ is fast approaching. In real life, a cool foreshadowing for Toby Fox’s next game. But, if it all really is Kris’s dream, it’s Gaster invading Kris’s mind and spewing prophecy bullshit just to fuck with Kris.
This is a really fun theory by the way thanks for coming up with it. Also sorry if I referred to Kris with he/him pronouns anywhere in this I always mean to use they/them but I also always self insert too hard.
I HAVE A CRAZY THEORY ABOUT UNDERTALE AND DELTARUNE
(Note that it's just a theory!!!!)
So I've been thinking about it for a while. A couple of days a ago I saw a post about Undertale Spotify album. In the video they said that the album starts with "Once upon a time" and ends with "Good night" (credits to them) and that may imply that Undertale is a bedtime story. So that video lead me to this theory (it's long) :
I think Undertale is the dream of Kris from Deltarune. Not just any dream though, a lucid dream. Meaning that you control the dream yourself. Now, I want you to keep remembering what Kris does at the end of Chapter 1 while you read this.
Some dialogs in the game Undertale keeps telling you that you are living a dream such as that one death screen from (I guess it was either Flowey or Asriel) says " It's all a bad dream", (if I remember correctly) at the end of pacifist route Asgore saying "this is like a dream" or the item "Dream" you get from Asriel. Also you can say that the underground is always at the night time if there is no sun making a day cycle. Throughout your game play you can sleep at 4 locations anytime you want. And some monsters do sleep there with you.
Now I know you'll be asking; what about Frisk and Chara? Well I think it might sound crazy for a second but they are the same person, just representing different personalities. When I told you to remember what Kris does at the end of Chapter 1 is from this part. They rips their red* soul puts it in a cage and they turns to camera with red eyes and a knife. Meaning their true nature is showing violence. Now let me explain this detailed:
1-Frisk: In your Undertale game play you play as Frisk. They don't talk, show any emotion in neutral route or think for themselves at all. They have no emotion on their face too. Like a puppet. Frisk have/has(?) no control over themselves. Also throughout the game Frisk is seen with a red* heart/soul. We never saw anyone else use this color of soul in undertale. Not even Chara. /it might be fanon that Chara has red soul/
2-Chara: They have red eyes, a little smile and they show up at the end of genocide route. Unlike Frisk, Chara seems to be having control, hobbies and likings. Such as the comment they make about the environment in Asgore's house or the coffin. And in the genocide route of Undertale you'll realize that Chara slowly gains control over you. I'm not implying that Chara is pure evil even though they are violent since in the end we didn't get to choose not to kill Asgore or Flowey. Not to mention that Chara gains all the control over us after we make violent actions.
3-Kris: In Deltarune (most likely in the beginning)we don't get to choose anything about who we are. We don't have control. Although as soon as we go to the Dark World things chance. We get to choose what Kris does. We can make them hurt others, show mercy on others or even make them eat moss. WE get to ruin/perfect their life in the Dark World. And Kris can't do anything but obey us. Just like Frisk. And just like Frisk, Kris doesn't shows any emotion in the game play. When we get to the cutscene tho, you'll realize that the game is over. You don't have control over Kris. And Kris knows it. There is nothing you can do to stop them from doing what they want. They are free from you.
When Kris goes to the bed. There is a black screen for a while and we get to see the cutscene. Maybe after what Kris experienced in the Dark World, they had a dream about what would it be like if their life was just like that. Going to adventures, fighting monsters. And normally Kris sees their family, friends or their neighbors in the dream. That would explain a lot of things. Like why we see Asgore and Toriel are divorced in Undertale. In Deltarune they are also divorced so it would be logical for Kris to see them as single too. When you connect the dots you even get why some events happened.
In Undertale you never get to see Asgore alive without doing pacifist. And even if you do pacifist he gets treated poorly. In all other endings he dies. All because of Flowey(I'm gonna come to that too). Meaning that maybe Kris doesn't have a good relationship with his father at all. There might be things that happened during the divorce. Kris sees Asgore as the King because he is the only man that Kris knows as a strong male figure.
Also Toriel, being a queen is the same. Toriel is the only one Kris could image being in charge of a nation. She is a teacher after all and Kris might think her to be very smart. We also see Toriel talking about wanting to be a teacher in Undertale. Kris didn't miss that one. The way Toriel acts is also important too. She treats a complete stranger like her child giving them a bed, food, love and even education. Meaning that Kris and Toriel has a good relationship as mother-child.
Asriel though is very complicated. In Deltarune we never see him. We only know that Asriel is very talented in many ways because of the trophies in his shelf. In Undertale tho we mostly see him as a evil defenseless little flower in both neutral and genocide endings. And what did I said about Asgroe? He keeps dying in both endings. He gets killed by Asriel. This might imply 2 things. 1 Asriel doesn't have a healthy relationship with his father. 2 Asriel caused the divorce and he is not innocent. It would explain why we never get to see him again after he brakes the barrier. He doesn't get a happy ending while everyone gets. Because Kris don't think that Asriel deserves to be happy. We don't know much about the relationship between Asriel and Kris except for knowing that Flowey kills Frisk a lot. When you think that way you'll notice that Asriel might be a bully to Kris. He is talented, he might get more love and support from his parents since he goes to college. So no one would say anything to him if he picks on or even shows violence towards Kris. This might be the reason Kris stays quiet all the time or doesn't moves an inch while Susie threatens to eats his face off. Kris is used to it. In the other hand, Kris might even hate Asriel too. Like I said Kris doesn't think that Asriel deserves a happy end. (Not to mention we see Asriel as a cry baby. Probably Kris would love to see that.) Resulting him dying in process. A world without an Asriel is a world where everyone is happy to Kris. The way Chara portrays Flowey in genocide is also a thing. Flowey in genocide is scared, hopeless and helpless. Kris might imagine Asriel like that. When Kris gets a chance and a knife, Asriel begging them to not kill him, oh how much satisfaction Kris would feel.
Sans and Papyrus's apperience depends on Kris's imagination to be honest. Kris knows something goes on with his mother and Sans. Since Sans says "I befriended your mom last night". So this would cause Kris to see Sans as a punny, relaxed and mysterious man. The way Toriel would like to hang out. The mystery part also comes from Kris knowing a little bit of Sans. Papyrus is also up to Kris's imagination. The way Sans told them about Papyrus might resulted Kris to see him as a merciful, complex but friendly guy. And since Kris met Sans the day they fell into the Dark World would explain the Rabbit Shop lady's dialogs "They showed up out of no where and introduced themselves"
I don't think I need to talk about Undyne and Alphys. Undyne is a police officer (police shef?) and that would explain how Kris sees her in Undertale. An independent woman as a leader of a very strict group of guards. And Alphys? She is a science teacher and probably the only science teacher in the town. It would also make sense for think her as a scientist. Also the neighbors. We see Catty, Bratty, Snowdrake(not sure). Kris might see Catty and Bratty as low life, non important, cheapskate girls so that could led us to see them hanging in a literal dumpster, selling trash.
I don't know what I should tell you about Gaster. We just need more chapters so I can explain more I guess. Do you like this theory? Do you agree or not?

I saw the tag- I am gonna ask you about the crossover universe- (omg I’m literally gushing about this)
OH, IT IS TIME!
So you can find a lot of this on the “What is the WHAM ARMY?” page on my blog – I’ll try to remember to link it; I’m drafting this in a word processor first so I don’t use it. Essentially, this is the universe I’ve created for my fanfic “Taking Back the Crown,” which is about…basically my favorite villains all moving into the same house and trying to take over the multiverse. And then it got lore. And more lore. Because I cannot write anything normal. The fic is nearing its 150th chapter and I’m nowhere NEAR exhausted of all the ideas I want to put in it – it’s just my big playground for hyperfixation fun. Anyway, here’s a rundown of the major points of it!
 THE CAST
The main characters are the eight villains who are the founders of the WHAM ARMY. The faction name is an acronym of their first initials. They’re my ultrafaves, the villains I always get fluttery heart for, and probably the biggest collection of losers you can imagine. I’ll put them in order of the acronym and give you some background on how each entered the team.
Wuya (Xiaolin Showdown) – So the connecting factor between these people is that Mozenrath (his name is a few slots down) is their team leader and the one who decided to build a team in the first place. Wuya was recruited when Mozenrath found her puzzle box in an ancient vault. This is set post-series for XS (and Chronicles is not at all canon), so what had happened is in the big Showdown right after Raimundo was named team leader officially in the finale, the Xiaolin Monks won ALL the Shen Gong Wu to their side and stuffed Wuya in the box. So Mozenrath found her and let her out so they could be pals. A magic potion let her regain human form fairly early on, and her power isn’t even nerfed either the way Chase Young would’ve done.
Huntsman (American Dragon: Jake Long) – ADJL is also post-series in this timeline. Mozenrath has the power to resurrect people from the dead at will because he’s memorized an ancient and incredibly complex ritual that he can execute mentally (note that this means you can remove this ability from him by tampering with his memories). The Huntsman was resurrected so as to show Mozenrath around the old Huntsclan vault (which is where they found Wuya’s puzzle box). No other Huntsclan member survived the purge except Rose (and 88 and 89, but they don’t count and aren’t in this story), so the Huntsman is starting from square one.
Ayam Aghoul (Aladdin: The Animated Series): Basically just got sick of losing. He’d teamed up with a few other rando Aladdin rogues to try and pick a fight with Maleficent, and she sent him packing. So he ended up finding one of the few residents of the Seven Deserts who was powerful enough to match him AND had a similar grudge against Maleficent.
Mozenrath (Aladdin: The Animated Series): The man of the hour and the creator of the entire team. He starts the fic by crashing Maleficent’s KH Disney Villain alliance and trying to add himself to it, but…ends up being such a disrespectful nuisance that Hades just drags him straight down to the Underworld. That moment inspired him to get his OWN band of friends and start making a name for himself.
Archibald Snatcher (The Boxtrolls): Met Mozenrath in the Underworld after his death in film canon. Annoyed Hades one too many times by claiming that he wasn’t actually supposed to die, seeing as he isn’t allergic to dairy (he is), so Hades threw him in the same cell as Mozenrath and…
Roman Torchwick (RWBY): I started writing this fic in 2016, immediately post-V3, so it’s canon-divergent after the last episode of V3 (but I got all the later-game characters to show up eventually). Which means Roman is ALSO dead at the start of this fic. He ALSO comes storming up to Hades insisting he’s not even supposed to be dead. At the same time as Snatcher is already pestering him. Which is how Mozenrath, Snatcher, and Roman end up in the same jail cell in Tartarus and get the idea that maybe they should break back into the world of the living and try to build something BETTER than what any of the three had beforehand.
Mad Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone): Mozenrath, immediately after breaking out of the Underworld, attempted to take over Arthur’s kingdom by just walking in and throwing magic around. It backfired horribly when Merlin showed up. But then Mim showed up to counter Merlin and realized that maybe she had a potential friend here who was as blackhearted as she.
Yzma (The Emperor’s New Groove): Post-TENG, no KNG or TENS (but I reference things from TENS every now and again). Merlin turned Mozenrath into a rat, so Mim brought him to Yzma’s Secret Lab to change him back. There, they found Yzma as a cat, and she so desperately wanted out of her living situation that she added herself to the team. She was also restored to human form shortly thereafter.
There is a potential ninth member of the core in the form of Vexen (Kingdom Hearts). KH is canon-divergent after DDD and basically ignores almost every game that comes out after Fragmentary Passage. Vexen, as Even, was trying to integrate into life as a hero in Radiant Garden, except everyone annoyed him way too much, so he decided to go be with people that would give right back any insults he dished out. And then realized he was much happier being on the evil team and doing mad science with no ethics. However, he will not be promoted to the upper ranks because 1. it would spoil the acronym and 2. he is unanimously agreed-upon to be the biggest wet blanket of the group and nobody wants him at the founder parties.
(Imagine my disbelief when the actual canon arc for Vexen was THE REVERSE ONE IN WHICH HE JUST DECIDES TO GO LIVE AT RADIANT GARDEN AND NOT BE ANNOYED BY ANYTHING and that’s why JC doesn’t like Kingdom Hearts III)
Anyway, this crew is a bunch of silly friends who enjoy partying, singing, dancing, drag, indulging in vices, causing mayhem, taking over cities, arranging for mass murder, piecing together smear campaigns…but they’re all pretty much ride or die for each other. And that goes double for the ships of the set: Mozenrath/Huntsman, Mim/Aghoul, Wuya/Yzma, and my favorite ship to end all favorites, Roman/Snatcher (RedHatBlackHat is the ship name).
From there, you have a B-Squad of, like, seventy other people based on my faves. Nonnie, I know you saw this because of Vincent Edgeworth, Victor Blake, and Albert Krueger, and they are three of COUNTLESS examples. It’s a found crime family that keeps getting bigger as I get more fave villains and there’s hardly a rhyme or a reason. Currently, they live in a floating fortress designed when they stole Terra Cyclonia (Storm Hawks) and hefted it out into the aether between worlds with crystal technology.
They have a rival hero faction in the form of the Cinnamons: a gathering of people who they’ve wronged who turned out to make pretty good friends themselves. While the WHAM ARMY are the villain-protag team that you feel slightly bad loving the escapades of, the Cinnamons are the rainbows, fluff, sunshine, (secret crippling depression and anxiety), and pep-talkers of the multiverse. They’re the deuteragonist team as opposed to the “villains” of the story. They also have eight “leaders,” but they were picked up a little less quickly than the WHAM ARMY founders, instead coming together over the span of a much longer quest. These people are:
Sora (Kingdom Hearts): Heart of the team and the person who pulled them all together, because Sora loves everyone. He, Riku, and Kairi witnessed the WHAM ARMY wreaking destruction on both Radiant Garden and Disney Castle, and Sora decided no one gets to treat his homes-away-from-home like that and get away with it! Between Mozenrath and the still-looming threats of Maleficent and Xehanort, he’s now collecting pals from all worlds to fight against evil and do as much good as they can do! (While having sleepovers.)
Ruby Rose (RWBY): Before she, Nora, Ren, and Jaune could get into Mistral, Sora interrupted them on their path and directed them right back around to Vale with the news that Roman Torchwick was back in action. After an incident involving the Destiny Trio and Team RNJR having to team up and actually kill the massive Grimm unleashed in the V3 endgame, they all headed out to Radiant Garden together to continue their mission.
Papyrus (Undertale): Sora found him while exploring worlds and they clicked immediately as pals. Then the WHAM ARMY, who was living in Mt. Ebott at the time, sparked an anti-monster racist sentiment through the town, and Papyrus was advised to leave the world for his own safety, so he went traveling with Sora.
Stork (Storm Hawks): Maleficent, who is also an active player in this game, made a power play by destroying the Condor with the entire Storm Hawks team onboard while they were on the Far Side of Atmos (post-series). Stork, believing himself to be the only survivor, attempted to take his own life – only for Sora to show up just in time and offer him something better: hope that his friends survived, and new friends to tag along with until they could prove either way.
Jasmine (Aladdin): The Cinnamons came looking to Agrabah for more information on Mozenrath. When Jasmine heard he was causing chaos, she decided to get personally involved.
Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender): Post-ATLA, no LoK. Sora made a trip to the Fire Nation to see if he could head off the WHAM ARMY’s latest scheme, and ran into the Gaang along the way. After helping Katara, Aang, and Zuko protect the Fire Nation from a very near miss, Sora invited them to come travel with him. Only Katara accepted at first, the other two wanting to clean things up on their homeworld.
Kazuichi Soda (DanganRonpa): Post-SDR2, no DR3. Xehanort requested Izuru Kamukura be used as a vessel, and Kazuichi went in Izuru/Hajime’s place so his buddy didn’t have to. But the first chance he got, Kazuichi turned and ran from the Castle That Never Was…where Sora had just crash-landed. Kazuichi patched up Sora’s ship, and immediately became part of his crew. (Worth noting: in this AU, the Remnants of Despair were never brainwashed and were completely aware of what they were doing. Kazuichi is basically a redemption story, trying to be a better person to make up for the hell he caused. Also, while on the Despair side, he’d hacked off his leg to sew Junko’s in its place, disabling himself – that leg goes through an arc regarding what prosthesis is in its place.)
Rapunzel (Tangled): After the Vardaros arc of S2 of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. Rapunzel was targeted by the WHAM ARMY because she was essentially a living MacGuffin for one of their spells. Sora showed up, and Rapunzel decided to go along with him for safety AND fun, leaving Cassandra to continue the pilgrimage to the Dark Kingdom. (Wrote this before KHIII was out. And before the Evil Cass twist.)
And just like the WHAM ARMY, these folks have a huge B-squad that lives in the Radiant Garden castle and helps them deal with the various tragedies they have to clean up after. Riku, Kairi, and Jaune Arc in particular get a decent amount of stage time.
As you can see, Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty/Kingdom Hearts) and her forces are another big set of chess pieces on the board! After she sent Mozenrath to gay baby jail and it didn’t stick, she’s been trying to continue plans for domination as usual but ALSO wipe the WHAM ARMY off the face of the multiverse. She, Jafar (Aladdin), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), and Hades (Hercules) all came straight here from KH. But I’m working to model that team’s inner circle on the team in “Quite a Glittering Assemblage,” the sister fic by gavillain (it’s basically this premise but Maleficent gets a team to start instead, but similarities end there, his is a whole different, fresh, and fun flavor). I’ve just gotten all these characters intro’d instory, but the other biggies are Loki (Marvel – I based him in the Cinematic Universe but he’s kind of just an amalgamation of Lokis), Dr. Doom (Marvel), Captain Hook (Once Upon a Time), Russell Edgington (True Blood), and Fish Mooney (Gotham). Currently, they operate out of the Forbidden Mountain in the Enchanted Dominion.
There’s also a very new addition as of the 140’s chapters: the Heathens. This is a squad of villains with moral lines in the sand (and some antiheroes or corrupted heroes). Basically, these aren’t your killers for fun. These are the people who steal candy from the gas station and think they’re slick, but the point is they’re enjoying themselves so just let it happen. The four founders of this one are Harley Quinn (DC – based on The Batman but an amalgamation of Harleys that leans sympathetic), Yang Xiao Long (RWBY), Giovanni Potage (Epithet Erased), and Velvet Crowe (Tales of Berseria). Currently, they operate out of the old mansion in Twilight Town.
The Xehanorts are here, and that team is largely who you think it is – though I stripped away Vexen, Demyx, Marluxia, Larxene, and Luxord in order to replace them ALL with Xaldin. More crossover shenanigans to come on this front. This team isn’t very active – they’re waiting for the Keyblade War – but they’re operating out of the World That Never Was.
There’s also another side villain faction: the Morbians, led by Mirage (Aladdin: The Animated Series). These are the demons of fear, the stuff that lurks in your nightmares, and…the villains I really like but who I don’t quite think fit in with the WHAM ARMY or any other more prominent group. But to give you an idea of what the flavor of this team is, she’s recruited not one but TWO Boogeymen – Pitch Black (Rise of the Guardians) and Oogie Boogie (The Nightmare Before Christmas).
There will be more villain factions to come, and I kind of want to splinter the Cinnamons to multiple bases as well. Obviously it’s easier to split villains up because they’re fun to write at war with each other – when I have hero teams come up against each other, usually they end up becoming best buddies instead of fighting, and that’s how I like it, but that’s why there’s just ONE BIG HERO TEAM as opposed to the many villain squads rattling around.
 THE SETTING
So as you have probably gleaned, the multiverse setup is largely based on Kingdom Hearts, which is one of my favorite things (in the KH1 through Fragmentary Passage era anyway). There are many worlds that can be visited either by Gummi Ship or Corridor of Darkness. Basically any evil-aligned sorcerer can use Corridors in this ‘verse – they’ve opened their souls to Darkness and have magic, so they can do so.
The implication is that every world represents a separate “story” or part of one. As in if it’s a work of fiction HERE, it’s a world THERE. Some characters are actually savvy enough to know they’re fictional (e.g. Megavolt from Darkwing Duck, Xayide from The Neverending Story). Most of them aren’t built to handle the news, though, and just shrug it off if told. (No, really, the cosmic order prevents them from taking that news seriously if they’re not from something that regularly leans on the fourth wall anyway.)
But sometimes, things get AU’d in without their full worlds. I was inspired by how Final Fantasy is treated in canon KH, and once I started bringing in more FF stuff by the same method, I felt motivated to do that with MORE fandoms if I felt the characters could be divorced from their settings and histories easily. I’ve done it for most Disney Channel non-animated properties as well as Satellite City (ain’t that the worst combo you’ve ever looked at). I’m planning to do it for Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn because I’m coming up on a location I want to delve into the civilization of but don’t have many canon characters for, so guess what, you get the FE cast now.
Major worlds or relevant locations in play are the Cyclonian warship, Radiant Garden, Twilight Town, and occasionally the Enchanted Dominion, but we move from plotline to plotline with journeys to many, many, MANY worlds of things I want to play with the settings and casts of. Also, the Cyclonian warship is about to get replaced with another WHAM ARMY base; we’ll get there.
 THE STORY
For the first major “book” of TBTC, the WHAM ARMY has found a spell that they think will let them conquer the entire multiverse by giving them control over Kingdom Hearts itself. All they have do to is collect a bunch of MacGuffins that correspond to twelve elements: fire, water, earth, air, light, darkness, life, death, time, space, entropy, and aether. In order to do this, they visit the worlds of KH, RWBY, Avatar, Storm Hawks, Okami, Undertale, Wakfu, The Legend of Zelda, The Neverending Story, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and many many more. The Cinnamons catch wind of what they’re doing and start assembling. Meanwhile Maleficent is on the hunt for the Book of Prophecies and starts hiring villains on her team as well. After many madcap adventures and some devastating tragedies near endgame, the Cinnamons accidentally put the Book of Prophecies in Maleficent’s hands at the same time that Maleficent finally captures Mozenrath and gets him under heel. The WHAM ARMY and Cinnamons both launch attacks on Maleficent’s forces, and each walks away with what they came for. This is also the part where we slowburn up to the four major WHAM ARMY ships and many Cinnamon ships. In the end, the WHAM ARMY actually gets all the ingredients for their spell, but what they don’t know is it will actually cause the DESTRUCTION of the worlds. So an outside force intervenes (Discord from MLPFIM, who later joins the WHAM ARMY because he wants friends who actually appreciate him as a villain and won’t make him change) to stop them, and the next thing they know, they’re starting from square one.
We’re now in the second “book” of this story. The Cinnamons are gathering up all lost friends – the rest of Team RWBY, the Gaang, the Storm Hawks (who did in fact survive the explosion), the lost KH characters. The WHAM ARMY, on the other hand, is gathering up more villains to bolster their forces for a new evil plan: to conquer the worlds one by one, starting with Atlantis (Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire) and using portals to link to other territories of interest. While the WHAM ARMY is essentially working through a to-do list of what they need before they can launch such a massive invasion, the Cinnamons are finding strength in numbers because the writing’s on the wall that between Mozenrath, Maleficent, Mirage, and Xehanort, things are going to get worse before they get better, and as evil builds, good will need to rise to protect the innocent. As for Maleficent, she’s no longer able to chase the Book of Prophecies, and so, because she’s got Hades, Loki, and Salem (RWBY) there and they’re all like “Even though we’re pretty godlike, we are not that happy with how the gods we knew have run things,” Maleficent’s new goal is to slaughter the gods of all pantheons (minus those in her care) and replace them with her allies.
Anyway, as I had said in the post you saw, Anon – I basically take everything fictional I love and shove it into this AU for daydreams because it lets me imagine my faves having CROSSOVER INTERACTIONS and doing cool epic stuff on a multi-world scale. (But as much as I’ve talked up the epic aspect, a lot of it is just…like…people fucking around and hosting karaoke nights.) Anyway, I hope this gave you a good sense of the madness, and I hope it serves as a reminder to everyone that they can and should just. Make a daydream and/or fanfic universe that’s indulgent as hell. Just do it.

Monday announcement!
Hello! lovely 5 followers!  first off, OMG THANKS FOR 5 FOLLOWERS I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH AND I AM SO HAPPY THANKS 1- My banner art!!! (very important!!!) So, Some may have noticed that I got banner art! YAY!  It is my artwork, however, I did use a reference for UNDYNE based off a specific Instagram post and artist whos goes by Apollo. While unfortunately they do not have a Tumblr, they said it was okay to refer to their Instagram! So, this is their insta- do give them some love <3 Apollo’s Instagram (I will try to put this somewhere on my blog for easy finders. Don’t know too much about Tumblr yet, but I am slowly getting there!) 2- Soooo, school starts this Monday! (and I still have work lol).  This means that one thing is gunna start happening. Less posts! I will post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. After work ends, I will doing pretty much all my art on the weekends, which will probably change the schedule to Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and sometimes Friday.  - (please read) However, I have also been debating making maybe longer posts? They would be less frequent, but more pages the days I do post.  If I posted two times a week, readers could probably expect 2-3 pages each day I post. If I posted once a week, readers could probably expect up to 6 pages, though 5 is more realistic.  Personally, I like posting more often, but, that can be a weird reading experience. so PLEASE LET ME KNOW. (even if you see this post in a fricken year from its date posted, let me know!!) 3- Update on my brother. He is doing great :) He moved back to my grandpas, but not that it matters too much anyways, considering I am moving back to my dads for school. I have an actual work space there, so... yay! I have already created two more pages last week after my brother had gone back to grandpas, which will be posted soon! 4- Art style. I am actively trying to “change” my art style to something more fun (for me to draw). This mainly goes for eyes, clothes, coloring, and shading. I want to develop a style that is fast, easy, but still looks good.  So, readers may notice quite the significance in changes here and there. :) 5- Story plans! (recommend reading). I am at a halt for The story of Chara. I know what I want in the long run, but it is hard for me to think about the “now”. So, do excuse the lack of posts on Chara until I map it out better.  As for The story of Sabri, I have put far more thought into their story (as it is something that has never had any guidelines, because its not cannon.) So, there will be quite the flush of pages on Sabri for a while :)  Other stories: I reaaaallly cannot wait! I have so many plans for so many of these stories! I really think this universe will be a keeper :D 6- AU details that are kinda important (about similarities) So I want to put this out NOW.  I have read, watched, and learned about A LOT of Undertale AU’s. My AU is supposed to be fully unique from others. However, last time I went through those.... many many au's, was YEARS ago. So, if the readers happen to notice anything slightly similar to other au’s, please note it is not on purpose! All of my content is solely based off the original game and my own mind. I do understand that our brains may think we are creating something original from memory of an idea and makes itself think it is original due to not remembering the source. I doubt this will happen, but if it does, please just keep that in mind. (Also, tell me if you notice any similarities so that I can look into it. (Note: I purposely avoid AU’s that may end up inspiring mine. While I would love the inspiration and expand on ideas, I really don’t want to accidently forge content!) Lastly, thanks for reading, and thanks again Apollo for letting me use their art as a reference! -2k

I forgot I made this comic comparing Dream to Deus(Annihilation!Dream) and what would happen if they met. It’s a bit older and has Deus’ old design but it’s a little funny.
Tumblr media
Deus’ interaction with any person not affected by his position in M.A.D.Verse (Any God in M.A.D./Annilation gods or any Dream/Nightmare equivalent or any soulless being or someone from another multiverse.) is completely randomized. Unless he has to move that second he’ll just freeze for five to 30 seconds before having a completely random reaction to them. In the case of Deus meeting his original, Dream, is to be terrified of them for no reason and to attempt to run away at all costs.
Dream belongs to Joku at Jokublog.
Lore/Creators note: Since M.A.D.Verse/Annihilation!tale is a essentially my love letter to the AU community and Undertale, which inspired me to do character and creature design. All the Annihilation variants have a slightly different background or motive because, despite loving originals, I don't want to tell other creator’s stories. If their’s one thing you do I hope it’s that you support the original creators. Some backstorys are really similar to their original, like Page’s (Annihilation!Ink), but some are nearly entirely different than the original version or multiverse, like Red #1 or Fell!Sans. Where am I going with this? I don't really see Deus as a Dream, more like A Dream equivalent that has a similar backstory. They have different personalities and different motives. Heck ’Nocturne’(Annihlation!Nightmare) and Deus are literally the same entity in this multiverse (They still have their own personality and wishes though.) and he would’t really mind if Nocture decided to become a terrifying goop octopus. He literally is entirely functional and instinct-based creature behind his personality.

Thoughts on MEGALOVANIA
So MEGALOVANIA is assumed to be Sans song. Some hypothesize that it actually belongs to Chara, or the player. For a long time that was where I was, though the obvious relation between it and The Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans bugged me. I liked Determination as Frisk’s area music, with Anticipation, the song that plays when you fight the Ruins Dummy, as their battle theme. Then I read an amusing post saying that Sans and Chara were sharing and… I thought about it a LOT. I listened to the songs associated to the characters. I researched the shared themes between all of Undertale’s songs. This is what I came up with.
MEGALOVANIA is shared between Chara, Sans, and Frisk. It is a song that could not belong to anyone of them alone, and could not have been created under different circumstances. And not only that, each fallen child has their own themes, at least, to my reckoning. Here are my thoughts on the subject, though please be patient, I don’t know any music terminology.
TL;DR Chara, Frisk, and Sans were all too busy trying to kill each other to get their own No Mercy themes.
Frisk’s area music is Anticipation and their battle music is Enemy Approaching. Enemy Approaching is an energetic song that encompasses something of Frisk’s determination, while Anticipation only plays once at the beginning. It is a simpler and more tense song, showing their apprehension at this new world. But the name itself still shows that they are still looking forward to what this world might bring. Anticipation is also present within Enemy Approaching, as it’s base.
Chara’s area music is Star and their battle music is Determination. Determination also has a deeply inspiring name, something deeply important to the entire game. But in direct contrast to both of Frisk’s songs, it’s very solemn, and Chara’s story is very solemn. It is also important to note just when we hear this song. We hear it when we die, when we hear Asgore speaking to Chara on their own deathbed. The song also contains elements of Asgore’s motif, which seems appropriate for family members. Star, as an unfinished song, is harder to tie to anything, especially since I’ve heard somewhere that Toby has stated outright that it was originally a part of the Madjic fight. It is, however, played in piano, like Determination. A very loose connection, since there are many piano songs. What is more telling is the name of the song, and Chara’s own name. Many people have pointed out that Chara is also the name of a star known as Beta Canum Venaticorum, part of a constellation called Canes Venatici. Star is also a slow sounding song, like Determination. It also reminds me of But Nobody Came, Chara’s No Mercy theme, in that it is a series of singular notes playing one at a time that seem to echo slightly. But maybe I’m looking into it too much.
Sans’ battle music is The Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans, and I don’t really plan on expanding on that? I have heard it described as an angry song though.
MEGALOVANIA is a very intense song, and a delight to listen to, despite the uh, awful circumstances. It is full of determination, yet at about 1:20 it lapses into a slower, almost solemn part, that becomes an undertone to the original determined theme from 1:35 until about 1:50, when the tone takes an almost desperate turn. 1:20 to 1:35 also uses similar sounds to But Nobody Came, though it is definitely a different note, and MEGALOVANIA seems to have other sounds at this point as well. MEGALOVANIA is a song that incorporates the personalities of all three participants, boiled down to their base parts. What is left when you strip away everything that makes them themselves.
Chara has lost their love of monsters, especially their family. Their sense of humor has been twisted to find amusement at others suffering.
Frisk has lost their empathy, they no longer care for those they meet.
Sans thought he didn’t have anything left to lose, and then you took his brother. Then you threatened reality itself, and took away anyone else who could have defended it.
All three of them are focused on a single goal above everything. Morals, beliefs, principles, all are nothing compared to The Goal. And Sans loses, Sans must lose, because he could never be as determined as either of the fallen children, much less both. And in winning, the fallen children lose everything, including each other if Frisk choses to not erase reality, or to reset after the deed is done.
So, in summary, MEGALOVANIA is a song of pain and desperation. A song of three broken people breaking each other a little more.

Welp, I’m Going to Grillby’s: A Fanwork Analysis
Tumblr media
Many fan works suppose Grillby set up a new pub (also called Grillby’s) on the Surface after the Pacifist ending. Cross-species patrons and booming business is only possible for monster-run businesses when anti-monster prejudice is low, and there are few reasons (other than prejudice) humans wouldn’t patronize Grillby’s. Therefore, in any work where anti-monster prejudice is fairly low, Grillby’s will always have some degree of popularity among humans. Thus, the success of Grillby’s, and how quickly Grillby’s-related problems are solved, is a useful clue or indicator of anti-monster prejudice levels.
Fan Works
GlitchTale
Tumblr media
Camila Cuevas's GlitchTale (specifically Season 2) is very unusual for how quickly Grillby’s becomes very popular, as well as the low prejudice levels and speed of monster integration in general. To be more specific, Grillby’s business (and Muffet's business) is not only patronized by humans, but are explicitly the most popular restaurants in the city, and compete for customers. If Muffet, a spider-like monster who only ran a bake sale before, can have a thriving business, it suggests Grillby’s popularity isn’t a statistical anomaly of a sign of especially good food. That, and the fact the blue bunny NPC still sells Nice Cream, suggests monster food vendors’ success is part of a greater trend. Admittedly, the popularity of Grillby’s could be from the restaurants' very novelty, given the work’s time scale. Yet, the fact so many people are trying out magic food, made by a fire monster and a spider monster within less than a month after monsters’ reappearance, suggests people adjusted to living with monsters very well. Indeed, the time scale of Grillby’s suggests business-folk and lawmakers are also friendly to (or at least indifferent to) monsters, to the point Grillby and Muffet can both start businesses and get food vendor licenses very quickly.
The work’s very fast integration and positive sentiment to monsters would be very unrealistic, were it not for the fact GlitchTale’s world differs so much from Earth. Its socio-political, historical, and geographical details all make for a smooth path for monsters. Indeed, institutions (e.g., The Anti-Monster Department) and knowledge from the first war of humans and monsters even continue to the modern day. The result of all these differences is that monsters are (largely) very comfortable in human society.1
Charakterny Comics
Tumblr media
Insanelyadd's Charkaterny comics show a world with slightly greater anti-monster prejudice. The comic has a small plot, set a year after the barrier was broken, in which a kid bought a hot dog from Sans and the kid’s mother “freaked out” and made lots of complaints upon learning it was magic. Due to some legal oversight, magic food apparently isn’t included in a normal food vendor’s license. Therefore, after all these complaints, Sans gets his food vendor’s license revoked for “violations” with the food. Papyrus (now an ambassador) suspects what happened to Sans could also happen to other monster food sellers (e.g., Grillby). While Grillby’s itself is not shown, other monster food vendors signing the petition suggests the success of Grillby’s isn’t unusual. Apparently, a significant number of humans like magic food and/or monster businesses, and they disapprove of the possibility monster businesses can be shut down for serving magic food. The petition is signed, and the plot is quickly resolved.
Undertale: Long Road
Tumblr media
(As a fanfiction, Long Road does not have illustrations. The author of this article provided one)
WolvenOne's* Long Road* takes place a year after the barrier broke, and although things are fairly good for monsters, they have to deal with influential groups of anti-monster politicians and a monster-killing mage squad.
As its timespan is much longer than GlitchTale’s, the level of Grillby’s success and species intermixing is more plausible, by real-world rather than fictional standards. In this work, Grillby's explicitly has at least one human employee, who is happy to work there and with monsters. Since magical food “didn’t need to be digested, converted to energy instantly, could heal minor injuries, [...] and never made you fat”, it became popular among humans: “even humans preferred magically prepared foods, at least on the occasions that they could get it.”
Tumblr media
The Anomaly
Coffelemental's The Anomaly’s has one of the more complex approaches to human-monster relations, with anti-monster levels varying by time period and region. Unlike most works, The Anomaly is explicitly set in real-world geographical areas, cultures, and time periods, putting more real-life-inspired context to the monsters’ struggles. Although Grillby’s is popular among humans in The Anomaly, there's no indication it's unusually so: it’s normal for a popular bar/restaurant. No other monster food shops are shown, but many monsters have gainful employment in a variety of professions[^2], suggesting being a monster food vendor is feasible. The twelve-year timespan means there has been plenty of time for monsters to integrate into wider human society, but also plenty of time for people to make anti-monster laws.
Deeper Down
Tumblr media
Zeragii's Deeper Down treats monsters the worst: monsters were restricted to the forest around Mt. Ebott for weeks in encampments. While The Anomaly’s timeline also started with similar encampments, the actual story is set twelve years after the barrier breaking, when monsters have more rights and societal integration. Though Grillby still makes food in Deeper Down, he does not operate a restaurant: that Grillby's doesn't even exist shows the situation is very bad for monsters.
Conclusions
Based on the five works, one can make certain conclusions about the success and patron composition of Grillby's in a Post-Pacifist setting. (These conclusions ought to be taken with a grain of salt, due to low sample size.)
There is a negative correlation between the success of Grillby's and anti-monster prejudice. As prejudice goes down, the success of Grillby's increases.2
At a certain high prejudice level, Grillby's cannot exist. (No works sampled have Grillby's closing down due to anti-monster prejudice, though.)
If prejudice levels are very low (GlitchTale), Grillby's will receive human patrons very quickly. If prejudice levels are higher (The Anomaly, Long Road), Grillby's will receive human patrons later.3
There can be different prejudice levels among customers, lawmakers, and departments that give out food vendor licenses.
Anti-monster prejudice is still a problem...but the biggest threat isn't from a human.  ↩︎
Presumably there's some limit to this. Otherwise, at the point where's no anti-monster prejudice, Grillby's becomes a chain restaurant that takes over the world. Extending that, if the prejudice gets into the negatives, where lots of humans absolutely love monsters, Grilby's would presumably become an international food conglomerate. ↩︎
In the U.S., sushi and Chinese food were once variously viewed as dirty, gross, bizarre or unhealthy (for special reasons), but they're very popular there now. Given how long it took for those foods to become popular on the national level, the time scales for Grillby’s popularity for all of these works is especially impressive. ↩︎

could we get some random facts/headcannons about the main three (jack, dave, henry)? i wanna know more--
So, you want trivia? Sure, I got some o’ dat.Jack’s full name is Jack Fitzgerald Kennedy, aside from being an obvious nod to the late US president, “Fitzgerald” was chosen as his middle name as it’s the surname of F. Scott Fitzgerald, the author of The Great Gatsby, which is the book that the inappropriate, yet endearing usage of “Old Sport” by Dave came from. In very early development, I tossed around the name Mike for OS, but due to Scott coincidentally turning Mike Schmidt into a sibling zombie going from Freddy’s location to Freddy’s location with a new name each time, from SL onwards- I kinda thought to distance myself from that name, so things’d be less confusing.Jack’s name comes from three sources. The obvious one is that when he goes “LEGACY” his face turns into a pumpkin, and he’s orange. The second is a nod to the dude who tricked the devil, Stingy Jack, who ended up living an immortal life due to a deal that went wrong, only to find himself unable to enter heaven OR hell. (Sound familiar?) Shadow Doggo is based is on the British legends of black hounds. The image of Blackjack barging into a room full of people and mauling Henry by the throat is inspired by Black Shuck, an alleged hellhound who broke into a church, killing worshippers, and leaving scorchmarks on the door on the way out.The other legend is of Richard Cabell, who allegedly sold his soul to the devil, only for it to be sealed away, and his resting place was pursued endlessly by frustrated hell hounds, trying to free the soul. The twist on this story is that the tomb is empty, the hell hound IS the soul, and the hound has a soul of his own imprisoned in a hell of his making.Blackjack’s ability to move through timelines manifests in DSaF 2, when he can comment on events from other savegames in current ones, not unlike Flowey in Undertale. The ability canonically is the physical manifestation of Jack’s desire to alter time, to turn back the clock and prevent Dee’s untimely death. Some of Jack’s qualities are actually nods to my own. Jack’s height is 5′10-6′2, which is the height range I am in, Jack’s pizza preferences are like my own, and there’s a few other eerie similarities I only now realize, but those are for another post, I guess. Jack’s orange colour was chosen in DSaF 1 (instead of pink, red, green) because the suit the player wears in DSaF 1 is orange. Simple as. At one point in development, I considered giving Jack the surname of “Johnson”, but an artist I was working with pointed out that “Peter Johnson” essentially means “penis penis”. Johnson was the surname of a US president who resided over the early vietnam war period, and was the vice president of JFK, so I just went one back, and decided to adopt the “Fitzgerald” as a reference to Gatsby, as I said previously.Dave’s an odd one to discuss, because he was kind of an enigma before DSaF 3. I’ll just give a few facts, then. I don’t know what Dave is. Dave flat out implies he’s actually half eggplant in DSaF 2, but with how dishonest he is, I doubt that to be the case. I consider him a cryptid, because according to Dave in DSaF 3, he was purple as a kid too, long before his death.Him and Jack are polar opposites in a weird inverted way. Dave’s immortality comes from manually repossessing his body, because he can’t let go. He’s alive through sheer determination, even though it’s a lie and it’s eating him alive from the inside out. Jack’s alive against his will, because he can’t die. It’s like determination vs perseverance. An unstoppable object vs an unmovable object. This is why they work so well in a pair; they’re completely complimentary. They cover each other’s weaknesses. This is represented in the Flipside segment, because Jack and Dave each have a weak attack/defense stat, but can boost each other to make each other both stronger, and equally strong/tough in the same ways. Funny, that.Dave’s relationship with Henry is something I never quite got to show properly on screen due to never showing any scenes before Henry’s death that don’t involve murder. Henry calls Dave “Willy” as a subtle way to demean him, because it’s slang for wiener, and that’s why Dave hates it so much.I’ve written a long ass post about Henry in the past. It’s here, in case you wanna read it. There’s obviously more that I never wrote down, but there ya go. Explains how he got from birth to the circus, anyhow, and why he has a book. Bonus fact: he listens to very old music (mostly classical) as he works, hence why he had My Grandfather’s Clock stuck in his head as he created Dee’s new vessel, and why his theme is a waltz. Henry is also much older than Dave, who is slightly older than Jack. My original headcanon design for Henry was a flushed version of Stephen Fry, but tbh, YOUR design for him has really grown on me :)Hope this helped!

Rough character concept and a pic I made for KakeraTale. I may gonna clean up the rough concept maybe in the near future.
For the character outfit, I mostly take reference from the canon Umineko character. Error is based on Ronove, Geno is based on Will Wright, and Blueberry is based on several Furniture characters (Eiserne Jungfrau and Stakes of Purgatory to name a few). Ink have a school boy styled outfit since most of the Witches in Umineko wear lolita styled dress and I tried to find a male equivalent of it. he has that long cloth thing and badge that Featherine has as well.
Man, look at those low quality Kakeras in the bg tho :,D
Credits:
- Ink!Sans belongs @myebi / @comyet
- Error!Sans and Geno!Sans belongs to @loverofpiggies
- Blueberry/Swap!Sans belongs to @popcornpr1nce
- Undertale belongs to Toby Fox
- When They Cry series belongs to Ryukishi07
I’m also gonna expand Error, Ink, and Geno’s backstory in here (Blueberry’s kinda already explained here). Might need some rework later if I feel like it doesn’t up to the standard but for now I’m content with these. I’ll put it under the cut for convenience:
Ink’s backstory:
Ink was originally a Sans game piece in an unspecified UnderTale-based game board. However, its owner was not passionate when making the story and thus left it unfinished. Being the most developed piece, this Sans soon grown frustrated and lonely due to the unfinished nature of his world before breaking free from his game board. He ended up wandering aimlessly among the Sea of Fragments. At one point, he returned to his former game board and finished the story himself, earning him the position of Game Master in the process. Inspired by this, he continued to make several game boards and stories. He would compiled them in books for documentation. Sometimes later, he’s interested with other Game Masters’ stories as well and would ask their permission to write it in his books. While his interest in compiling other’s stories increased, his passion in making his own diminished slightly although he didn’t want to stop completely, reminding himself of how he became who he is now in the first place. His activity on creating game boards and compiling stories gained interest of the Great Lady Featherine Augustus Aurora, Witch of Theatergoing, Drama, and Spectating. He’s later given the title Witch of Creation and Compilation by her.  She often challenged him in playing in several games against her after that, resulting in usually tied or near victory from Ink’s side. The badge that he has is the result of said challenges, managing to win a game against the senior Witch.
Error’s backstory:
Unlike Ink, Error’s origin game board was abandoned when its Game Master ran into several Logic Errors and chose to abandon it instead of solving it, losing interest in the story they created themselves. The game was put in a stalemate as the result. Irritated from the lack of progress in his world, the then Sans game piece Error tried to continue the story on his own to no avail. This driven him mad and chose to break free from the game board instead by severing any ties of him to the board. However, feeling guilty from abandoning those he loved, he desperately attempted to solve the Logic Errors his Game Master left on his own. The lack of skill from his part ended up making the game unsolvable instead, though. This caused him to grow frustrated and destroy the game board out of rage. Horrified by what he’d done, he fled the scene and into the Sea of Fragments. When he stumbled upon a Kakera produced from his former Master’s game board, he broke it in a fit of despair. Same fate befell similar Kakeras until there’s no more of them, completely erasing the game board’s existence. After a long period of cooling down, he resolved to destroy any imperfect game boards he came across so no game piece would end up like him. At first it’s an indiscriminate annihilation, with a single game piece taken from each destroyed game board or Kakera as a prize. However, when the Witch of Certainty Lambdadelta heard about it, she along with the Witch Senate imposed a rule for him in order to control his game board wrecking activity. He obeyed them and thus limit his activity to tampering game boards, only destroying them whenever necessary. Due to his work on obliterating game boards and sometimes Kakeras, the Senate dubs him as the Witch of Erasure.
Geno’s backstory:
Originally a Sans game piece from an UnderTale game board, Geno soon managed to see beyond the SAVE point screen and thus the truth of his game board. He then transcended into a Witch. Using his new found position and higher magic, he created the AfterTale game board and declared Game Master. When meeting with Witch Chara, Geno - consumed by grief and hate from what happened in his Genocide Run - challenged him to play in his game board in hope of defeating them and payed back from what they (or rather, their game piece) did to him. Chara agreed and both played for many times in the AfterTale game board. They’re proven to be superior to the only recently witched Geno and always win every time. Not to the one to lose hope, Geno continued to play against them, determined to win despite his disadvantage. This earned him the title of Witch of Hopelessness from the senior Witch due to his stubbornness to give up. Until now, the two still going against each other in Geno’s AfterTale game board, the younger Witch still losing to this day.

What inspired you to make this game? :)
A lot of things!
I’m glad you asked. It was a combination of wanting to recreate a certain cozy feeling playing some indie RPGs, whilst also wanting to do something with my knowledge of RPG Maker. Some indie RPGs that inspired me were:
Standstill Girl:
Tumblr media
Although it was made in RPG Maker 2003 (like mine!), it really pushed the engine with a fully customised combat system - that was actually fun!
Standstill Girl had good pacing. It balanced combat and its story well, with the cutscenes never being too long, but enough to get you intrigued to get to the next dungeon for the next one. Yet, it never felt like playing the game was just a chore to get the next juicy bit of story (a problem with many story focused games). Not to mention, it had great art direction! It was short and sweet.
My only issue with the game was that despite a decent setup, the ending was anticlimactic and forgettable (in my opinion).
I had a lot of fun in this RPG, but I forgot about it soon after I finished it. A couple of years after that, I had a sudden longing to play something like it again - but with a better ending, a different sense of humour, and a stronger story. I guess you could say Grimm’s Hollow was a response to that.
Undertale:
Tumblr media
A videogame that forced me to think about how game mechanics interweave with the story, and the strengths and weaknesses of “video game logic”.
There were a lot of conscious game design decisions making Grimm’s Hollow early on that was influenced by that. For example, the RPG trope of unprotected treasure chests containing really valuable loot in a dungeon that’s passed by hundreds of other heroes or travellers. Reasonably speaking, why hasn’t someone taken the loot, if it’s been there for a while? Why is the treasure chest even there in the first place? In my setting, this simply wouldn’t work - so I was forced to come up with logical alternatives.
Monsters and enemy designs, too - its a sort of standard in the JRPG for your main character to slaughter a bunch of living creatures without a proper in-depth explanation. After Undertale, I struggled to accept that standard - I tried to think of monster backstories that were slightly unique. I’m not sure how well I succeeded, but I’m happy with what I have.
But mostly, I wanted to play an indie RPG that was different.
Right now, the indie turn-based RPG is a very small niche. It’s also my favourite niche. I felt a need to expand it.
Whilst I’ll always have a soft spot for the older, more traditional fantasy RPGs like Final Fantasy VII, I’ve been craving something else in this genre - and that’s narrative focused RPGs that are downright bizarre.
We’ve had a couple: Hylics, Undertale, OFF, the LISA series …But it’s a short list.
Knuckle Sandwich, Blue Omen Operation, Omori, GLITCHED, Heartbound, Virgo Vs the Zodiac - they all look amazing! But they’re also years in development, and ongoing. So in a way, I tried to fill the hole with making my own, less ambitious, small project. They’ve inspired me to make my own.
Even now, I love browsing other people’s projects! There’s so many amazing ideas and stories out there, but they’re all in development. And that’s OK.
Because I can’t wait to play them once they’re done.

Smash Musings - Frisk
Frisk Falls In!
(Undertale spoilers below)
Okay, more Smash tishposting. What if Frisk was chosen to join the roster to represent Undertale? I mean, they ARE the protagonist of the game. But...then again, they are in essence just a small child that doesn’t have much at their disposal. What could they possibly do in the Smash environment?
Well, I actually thought of a way. It was sort of inspired by a version of Frisk made for MUGEN. Granted, this requires some creative liberties that may or may not defy the message of the original game, but...here’s what I came up with.
- Specialty: LOVE
That’s right! This moveset will revolve around Frisk’s LOVE (also known as Level of Violence). Frisk’s traits and capabilities may change based on how high or how low their LOVE is.
Just executing normal attacks will build EXP (execution points) on a meter shown on Frisk’s status display. Executing smash attacks will build more EXP. When enough EXP is gained, Frisk’s LOVE will increase by 1 (to a maximum of LV 5).
What does a higher LOVE give? Well, it increases the damage output of Frisk’s normal and smash attacks. The bonus is small at LV 2, but each following LOVE grants a bigger boost, with LV 5 granting a further increase to the launch power of smash attacks. Also, each higher LOVE will make Frisk take slightly less damage.
...But what’s the downside? Well, each LOVE above 1 will disable each of Frisk’s special moves. What’s more, Frisk’s movement speed will slightly decrease and their shield will drain a little bit faster with each higher LOVE.
There are a few ways to revert back to LV 1. If you’re KOed, your LOVE will reset to 1. But you can reset it yourself by using the shield special, or by just using their Final Smash.
So, high LOVE will make Frisk’s normal attacks deal out more damage and resist more damage themself, but they’ll be more vulnerable will less options. It’s up to you how you manage Frisk’s LOVE during the battle.
- LV 1: All specials available. - LV 2: MERCY and ACT (Boast and Flirt) disabled. - LV 3: MERCY, ACT, and CALL (ground) disabled. - LV 4/5: SHOOT, ACT, CALL, and MERCY disabled.
- Neutral Attack: Punch combo with Tough Glove. - Side Tilt Attack: Jabs forth with Stick. - Up Tilt Attack: Waves Old Notebook upward while crouching down. Wide hitbox. - Down Tilt Attack: Rolls along the ground. - Dash Attack: Quickly hops back a bit while firing in front with Empty Gun. - Side Smash: Overhead slash with Worn Dagger. - Up Smash: Rising slash with Worn Dagger. - Down Smash: Swipes side to side with Worn Dagger.
- Neutral Air Attack: Spin around with Ballet Shoes held. - Forward Air Attack: Hammer forth with Burnt Pan. Meteor smash. - Back Air Attack: Jab behind with Stick. - Up Air Attack: Swings Old Notebook upward in a wide arc. - Down Air Attack: Falling tackle.
- Grab: Seizes foe up close. - Pummel: Punches with Tough Glove. - Forward Throw: Blasts foe away with Empty Gun. - Back Throw: Suplexes foe with Tough Glove. - Up Throw: Blasts foe upward with Empty Gun. - Down Throw: Body-slams foe.
- Neutral Special: SHOOT: Frisk’s SOUL turns yellow and starts firing beams forth. Can tap to shoot small beams, or hold to charge a stronger beam. - The beams do small damage, but fly far and fast. The charged beam is slightly stronger and adds a stun effect. - Frisk can move and jump while continuously shooting. - Unusable at LV 4+. - Side Special: ACT: Frisk can choose from one of five options, depending on tilt upon button release. - Throw (neutral tilt): Throws the Stick forth in a slightly high arc with a spin to it. On rare occasions, may instead throw the Dog, which does slightly more damage. - Dodge (forward tilt): Feints forward to evade attacks. Will turn around if they pass a foe. - Defend (back tilt): Takes a defensive stance as SOUL flashes green. Momentarily negates direct attacks and reflects projectiles. - Boast (up tilt): Frisk will strike a confident pose, gaining a bit more launch power and gradually healing health for a while, or until they get hit by an attack (or rise to LV 3). - Flirt (down tilt): Makes a heart-shaped burst appear in front, stunning struck foes for a bit. Also makes them able to be spared at lower damage (at least 60.0%) for a little while. - Unusable at LV 3+. - Up Special: CALL: On ground, Papyrus will appear out of nowhere and launch a tall bone in front, which can block projectiles. - In the air, the phone becomes a jetpack and lets Frisk rocket upward (with super armor). - Unusable at LV 4+. - Down Special: MERCY: Points forth as a wave of yellow stars appears in front. Will spare any struck foe that has at least 100.0% damage (functionally just like an instant KO, but with different effects). - More effective on foes that were affected by ACT: Flirt. - Unusable at LV 2+. - Shield Special: RESET: Resets Frisk’s LOVE to 1. - Final Smash: SAVE: Frisk calls out as a large four-pointed rainbow star pops in in front. Any struck foes will be brought to a cinematic where Asriel and the six human SOULS appear, letting out a magical burst that repels foes hard. - Just activating the Final Smash will reset Frisk’s LOVE to 1.
- Entrance: Appears from a Save Point. - Idle: Looks side to side. - Idle: Taps foot with hands to their hips.
- Up Taunt: Reacts as a speech balloon with a “!“ appears above their head. (At LV 3+, the speech balloon will have a smiley face.) - Side Taunt: Taps head in thought, then points forward. - Down Taunt: Listens on their cell phone. (On rare occasion, a strange sound will be heard instead of ringing)
- Victory: Papyrus congratulations Frisk and strikes his cool pose. - Victory: Hugs Asriel, who congratulates them. - Victory: Clutches head as a red aura engulfs them, but then someone(?) uses the Save Point to restore their state of mind.
-= Palettes =- - Blue/purple (normal) - Green/yellow (Chara/Kris) - Black/white + black hair (monsters’ battle appearance) - Sepia (story pictures) - Yellow/brown + light-blond hair (Monster Kid) - Purple/white + blond hair (Toriel/Asgore) - Green/magenta + white hair (Ralsei) - Magenta/pink + pink hair (Mew Mew)
-= Trivia =- - At low LOVE, Frisk is a little more expressive, both vocally (just grunts and stuff) and visibly (on their face). As their LOVE increases, though, their face stays the same, and they rarely make any vocal sound. - If Frisk attempts to use a special move that’s disabled by their current LOVE, they’ll just freeze up a bit as the word “Determination.“ appears on their status display. - The Final Smash’s scene is mainly based on the moment when Asriel used the souls’ combined power to break the barrier. - The side taunt is based on Kris’s ACT pose in Deltarune. - The strange sound that occasionally plays in Frisk’s down taunt is the same sound heard on Kris’s Cell Phone in the Dark World. - This probably defies the point of Undertale, especially by resetting LOVE in the middle of a fight. Still, creative liberty tweaks had to be made for this moveset to be Smash-feasible.
