Has the overall story of Loose Stitches changed significantly since you started drawing it?

BOY HAS IT. ITS LITERALLY CHANGING AS WE SPEAK. anyway this got long so. under da cut

so, like most stories, it's changed a lot since the beginning. i was technically drawing it years before i started on the comic you see before you nowwww HOWEVER i get what u mean so i wont post any old art of atchkie or anything to make a point

TO GET TO YOUR QUESTION: since i started drawing and posting it, things have changed SIGNIFICANTLYYYYY. for example, hanheppi culture (which wont be relevant for years) was basically nonexistent when i started. the only reason you guys know hanheppi people and loose stitches are related is because i literally didnt have a name picked out for the hanheppi, so i had to file them under "loose stitches related" thinking i probably wouldnt post much about them anyway. and ppl started noticing that because i got around to developing them ON THIS BLOG WHILE POSTING LOOSE STITCHES. lol

as for the characters, they've changed too in a lot of ways. dotty's whole deal was generally outline before but i filled it in over the last few years and now it's like. genuinely could be its own novel lol.

ATCHKIE'S personality has been kind of hard for me to get a handle on because they are a kind of person who i don't have much in common with. but i think i'm getting a better idea of them as time goes on.

Reg Willow and Eden are still being workshopped cuz they're gonna appear later on and i haven't written them very much, so they're actively changing as we speak.

and then of course the entirety of part 2 has undergone major changes and is still actively shifting in huge ways. i see part 1 as basically set up and foreshadowing and getting to know the MC's and part 3 (if it can be called that, im prolly gonna break up part 3 into different chunks tho) as the pay off/explanation portion.

but part 2 is kind of more like a road trip adventure that the characters take on the way to trying to find things out about themselves and their goals. they run into a bunch of weirdos and its basically just the part where i get to have a ton of weird shit happen and then they run away. half of it is not even plot relevant and i'm SO EXCITED FOR IT!!!

and because it's way more flexible and is basically just a "author gets a free for all to do whatever it wants" card, it changes rapidly and often. I've brought in characters from past stories to fill in spaces, and i've combined certain plot points and storybeats. i've cut shit i didn't think was fun and then added entire towns just for 1 scene i wanna do. so thats probably the part thats changing the most.

other minor things that have changed is the near spontaenous creation of characters like professor silk, leilah, and mia. what happened with them was that i had points in the script where characters would talk and then i realized that if they were gonna have all these interactions with characters, they should probably be reoccurring ones instead of a bunch of one offs. Now professor silk is a minor but recurring characters, and Leilah was upgraded to full on girlfriend almost on a whim. Mia was the most spontaneous one tho.

in the scene where Mia throws dotty off the balcony, that was SUPPOSED to be Leilah and just some random friend atchkie was hanging out with. but since Mia had appeared before i was like fuck it, why introduce a whole new friend when i can reuse what was a one off character? and then while blocking out the fight it was just easier for me to imagine someone accidentally throwing dotty via strings than Leilah pushing them off in the struggle like i'd planned.

i could keep going on with stuff like this but the tl;dr is: yeagh. shit is changing constantly and all the little changes end up with the finished product being vastly different from the start.

and thats why i love serialized stories. there's an inherent jank to it that i cant get enough of on both the process side and the reader side.

hmmmm interesting and super hard to say. weirdly eliot or beckett are maybe my most anticipated.

i LOVE eliot’s trope and this is the first TRUE forbidden love story we will see from kbr (they have sort of claimed to have done it in the past but i think this is the most authentically polarized couple they have done. like yes raisy and marrow were sort of forbidden and so were all the bodyguards technically but eliot and winnifred are straight up ENEMIES their families will be RAGING and the DRAMA i will be living for it)

and beckett i’m really excited for because i love him but we dont get to see that much of him in other books. he is super private and busy and of course we should have seen him way more in sulli’s books but i’ve already ranted enough about that for a lifetime. i also love his initial set up with BOTH jo and leo and am happy kbr are writing another poly romance. i simply wasn’t invested in kitsuletti but i ship beckettjoleo (i know they have a better ship name that im simply too tired to remember rn) way more off the bat and since i liked sulli’s books more on the reread im hopeful im going to have a better reading experience this time. poly rep is super important but also way oversexualized so im super curious to see how they handle it and how ill like it this time around

next is probably ben. you may know but i used to be a harriet HATER until my recent reread of luna’s books and then i realized im just a miserable human and i gave her a makeover in my head bc kbr gave her a fugly style and now i recognize the queen that she is. super excited to see ben’s dynamics with his family firsthand and see how him bringing a girlfriend into the fold will go down

begrudgingly i will put charlie next. we all know i have a love hate relationship with this man but i can’t deny that makes me want to read his book so maybe i finally decide one way or the other. or maybe im just meant to have complicated feelings about this character forever idk. but i also know ill enjoy reading charlie and beckett’s twin bond, his dynamic with his parents, his relationship with ben, and whatever drama him and roxanne will cause with beckett (this plot line is a little confusing to me tbh but i want to see how it unfolds. like high key why does beckett even care i feel like the protectiveness they are setting up is baseless and will fizzle out quickly but im curious regardless)

audrey next because MY GIRL!! she shouldn’t be this low but in fairness we don’t even know WHO she will be with so there’s not much to anticipate 😭 but it does make me strongly wonder who her love interest will be and i love when hopeless romantic characters get their happily ever after bc im cheesy like that

sorry to tom i have no idea why im not invested in the threads kbr have been laying out for him but hopefully that will change. adore him as a character but his trope / storyline hasn’t hooked me so far and tbh i think phoenix is a bad name i wish the love interest was called something different LMAO

sorry that you asked for a simple ranking and i wrote a full essay we all know i can’t be normal about kbr books but i numbered my ramblings for you to make it easier to read (and of course by “read,” i do mean “skip”)

and as for the fic - nooooo i didn’t even know such a thing existed tbh. the last time i checked for addicted / like us fics years ago out of pure curiosity there were like 3 lol. truthfully i likely will never read any. i never ever read fic for a series or couple that is unreleased because it almost always ruins the reading experience for me / i have very little desire to and would much prefer to wait for the real thing. with kbr books in particular i have never felt the need to seek out fanfic because they write so much fan service already (this is usually a diss but i mean it as purely a compliment. they write SUCH entertaining scenes that you could only find in fanfic for any other fandom) and since i have their patreon that is so much bonus content i would never dream of needing more. their stuff is already perfectly written and has such high reread value that ive never felt the need to look for something extra that i felt was lacking from my reading experience

hmm ok there’s like 3 ways i could go regarding IF (big IF) i decided to stick rj into the cage universe 🤔

1. as cole’s younger sister — which means either his mom or dad (haven’t decided which) had her much later in life than cole OR that means this is an adult rj which would definitely be… interesting

2. as cole and ashe’s kid — if i want to add (1) ashe into this fic and (2) drama but idk if i want that this plot line is what storm chasers is for (whenever i get back to it lol)

3. as cole’s kid with a “random” civilian — how this would potentially come about would probably be after overwatch blew the fuck up at swiss hq, im thinking cole went back to being joel morricone for a bit before he decided he would quit running and don his actual name (cole cassidy) again. as joel and doing reporter shit he may have had a fling or one night stand or something of the like (fwb perhaps?) and whoops there’s a kid now. this would make rj more of a kid (probably around the same age as storm chasers rj or younger). however because this isn’t brought up At All in cage this could be a problem

the thing is tho, yes hanzo completely disassociated from his demons to thinking he was in a dream (cage) but schism is kinda more turning out to be how cassidy has a bunch of different masks he wears and different codes of ethics for those masks, that he doesn’t quite know how to meld them together and follow his own right and wrong. kidd, joel, and jesse aren’t did separate to cass or anything—but they’re carefully constructed personas that he dons to get through his life. he’s in control of it—he thinks. but is he? and i think having such major aspects of his life completely divorced from shit (such as having rj even) would reeeeeally show that.

the other thing is, being cole’s daughter is one of the biggest pulls of rj as an oc (for me). i just love their bond or whatever?? (tldr storm chasers crack has me bad and even if idk how to push the story forward rn the premise still makes me lose it). i guess the thing i worry about is: how to get across what kind of father cole is (if he is one at all. i feel like if i went this route while still being in overwatch he would be… but like the kinda dad who only sees you on christmas or face times you or something. but also, having people who come from cage into schism being like Wait he’s a Fucking Dad since WHEN. like this always and will be for Me before anything else so like if i wanna do it i can technically….

Interview with a Writer

When did you start writing?

Pretty much once I figured out how to write sentences. Ever since I was little I loved making stories in my head and I wanted to write them for people. My oldest brother was really into writing scripts, so I actually started script writing before formal writing. But when I was eight I wrote my first "little" story on some papers that were stamped together as my book lol.

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

I really don't know. I usually try to write what I enjoy and read what I enjoy so I don't often write what I don't read. I suppose you could say murder mysteries although ITSOM is technically murder mystery, it's not a formal one so who knows LOL. I do plan on writing an actual murder mystery sometime in my life.

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, J. R. R. Tolkein are three authors I love and I would love to try and emulate them. You can kinda see based on those answers what three genres of books I'd prefer to read. 😂

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

Oh gosh really anywhere. When I'm on my computer, usually on my beanbag or bed. But if I'm writing my fanfiction down in my journal, which I do more often now, I'm usually at a table, in my bed, or literally in class (I get bored lol).

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

Keep getting obsessed with different things. You don't just have to stick with one obsession to inspire whatever you want to write on. Perhaps this is only advice for those who get into things like fandoms, movies, or subjects really easily and obsessively but that's usually how I do it. I feel like when I do that it opens up many more opportunities. Also act out your scenes homies, it helps you picture them.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

If it involves romance and the main character, healthy romance. Although I'm not that much of a romance writer simply because I don't think I'm the best at it, I like the fluffy cute stuff that's also romantic and respectful. I yearn for a man to respect me like the woman I am. So, my writing often emulates that if it involves romance.

What is your reason for writing?

I love it! I like sharing my stories and I get sooooo many ideas. Honestly too many. I don't mean to pat myself on the back but I'm really good at quickly coming up with ideas for stories. That is one talent that I do know I have. Now whether they are good or not is totally a different story HAHA.

Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?

FUNNY COMMENTS. Ohhh my gosh Like I appreciate all the sweet ones and I reply to like 90% of my comments but oh my gosh the funny comments are what get me. I LOVE those kinds of unhinged comments. 😂😭

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

Honestly I don't know, as long as its good I don't really care! I just hope I am an inspiration point for them!

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Action scenes are one of those (I used to be a Marvel fanfic writer, let's just say I have practice) but I'm also really partial to writing emotional scenes. I bottle up my emotions quite often so writing scenes like that really helps. And I guess it also helps if you've got inspo straight from yourself loool. 😭

How do you feel about your own writing?

oh gosh. sometimes I'm like "omg this is great" and other times im like "did I grab this from the garbage WHAT IS THIS?!" It's really a hit or miss for me but I'd like to think that I am a good writer. I could definitely use more practice and I know I can definitely get better. But that's what matters is that you put forth the effort for it!

Ill try to list them in order of like, my first OC to my most recent OC's

Jinx first!!!

Jinx was once turned into a cat by the villains, and Jinx was pretty chill about it really, they loved knocking stuff over at the villain base, and since the villains thought they was just turned into a cat, no JInx inside, they just assumed it was normal cat behavior

Jinx is a magpie, like they LOVE shiny stuff, like, once, the heroes and villains were fighting over an ancient artifact, who gets it, the heroes want it so that they know the villains cant abuse it, and the villains want it for power, and then Jinx just ups and steals it just cause its shiny

Jinx has a twin brother Aegis, hes the opposite of Jinx, a hero, no-nonsense, his powers is to create shields, i made him after i made Jinx, but using the base i made for Jinx

Aegis is Bisexual and up for poly btw (i even thought about making him date the leader of the heroes and the leader of the villains just for the shits and giggles,)

Jinx lives with their brother (Aegis is older by 2 minutes ["best 2 minutes of my life" lol], cause their parents kicked Jinx out at 18, and Aegis was disgusted by that, so he lived with Jinx

Jinx didnt get much attention as a child, so that's why they're what they're like today, he has flair, a loud voice, just so that they get attention,

also, Jinx had to mostly fend for themself as a child, and they were given almost no supervision, since their parents gave Aegis more attention and training, believing that AEgis was more fit to be a superhero, so Jinx could do whatever, really, so they ate a lot of candy, thus giving themselves a sweet tooth. This is also why Jinx is childish, they wasn't allowed to be a child back then so their allowing themselves to be a child

Also, im starting to wonder if Jinx does have a label on what side they're on, like, anti-heroes, to my research, do bad things for good. Anti-villains do good things for bad stuff, so I don't know if Jinx does have a side, cause they just do their own thing, sometimes joining the villains, sometimes joining the heroes, sometimes being an annoyance to both, so like, they're undecided i guess?? (Kinda like they're gender, it switches lol) Lemme look something up real quick...i guess JInx is like a rogue?

Also, Jinx, having no side, maybe has a lair of their own, a small one though, I've been thinking maybe a candy shop? Like, there's a basement of operations down there, and there's a candy shop up top?

Also, Jinx is Chaotic Lawful (or lawful chaotic), where they have a moral code, no one knows what it is though, but thank goodness its there

At first, i wanted to make Jinx have a double life as Casey, but then the more i thought about casey and their stories, it kinda spiraled into casey becoming their own character,

Now, onto Casey!!! Doing this cause he inspired a TON of characters

Caseys a trans man (aka ftm,), and has transitioned now.

He's a tired photographer and journalist (online), goes to college, engineering, he lives with his brother, Ryan Thompson (or Velocity as his hero name), also lives with his brother

Casey is Ryans adopted little brother, Caseys parents are Lady Luck and Mr. Misfortune (idk if i should give him siblings he was separated from)

So pretty much Casey has terrible and Amazing luck, they don't cancel each other out

This is pretty much where chaos happens around casey, but casey somehow gets out unharmed, which is great for his Photography and Journalism blog cause he usually stumbles into super fights!

Also, Caseys like, the go-to kidnapping victim for the villains, where they kidnap him a lot (they don't hurt him, cause i think I'm leaning more into comedy in my world ), and the heroes save him a lot, this led to him knowing a lot about both sides, also, once, Casey got out of his binds when the villains kidnapped him and left him, and instead of escaping, he takes pictures of the lair first, and gets out, and then proceeded to post the pictures and compliment the villain's style.

Also, Casey usually doesnt talk, mostly to people he doesn't know that much, if he's with Ryan or anyone he's really comfortable with, he will not shut up, showing them pictures, stuff he made using engineering, etc.

Also, every character inspired by Casey (like, they first started out as, haha, what if Casey was ___) has a white streak on their hair, so if you see an OC of mine with a white streak, you know what that means!

Now, Dr. Wilde!!

As you know, Dr. Wilde is a crazy scientist!

Dr. Wilde allows Lumi to call him Ezra (at first Lumi called him Dr. Ezra, but as they got more close Lumi started to call him Ezra, like a friend)

Casey has interviewed Dr. Wilde at some point, and even took pictures of his lab, and Casey has taken care of Tar once (picturing Tar and uploading to the internet how weird the rat is, and that once, the rat got in the oven while Casey was baking and it somehow survived)

Dr. Wilde has dyed Tar's fur a bit (haven't decided what color yet), just so that he can differentiate between the lab rats and Tar

Dr. Wilde's lab is right next to his room (which is like a house, having a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.),

Dr. Wilde rarely leaves his lab / room, as he isn't really interested in the outside world, and when he does leave, he brings Tar with him, and Tar is just perched over Dr. Wilde's shoulder

Dr. Wilde is pretty short, compared to other villains (i should make a height chart actually), where the villains tower over him

Dr. Wilde has green eyes, also, if you look at him, he WILL stare into your soul, no one has ever seen him blink,

Now, Onto Darian Knight / Eclipse!!

As you can see, Darian is inspired by casey,

Darian, at first, joined the heroes to spite his dad, who was a villain back then, but after a while, he did come to like being a hero

Darian joined when he was 18, and he's surprised people still think he's a villain

Solar Flare and Casey are the few people who believe he's a genuine hero, Solar Flare cause he's worked with Darian long enough to know he's being genuine, and Casey cause he interviewed anough people to know whats a lie and whats not, Lumi also knows Casey isn't a villain

Sunny Knight / Lumi!!

He joined the villains at 19, about the same time as Darian,

At home with their parents, Sunny and Darian are more civil, more sibling-like,

In the battlefield, Sunny and Darian try to incapacitate each other than hurt, since, yknow, they're siblings. But they don't fight in the battlefield much, since sometimes Sunny and Darian converse, and the hereos and villains think that Sunny and Darian are teaming up and switching sides (Darian to villains and Sunny to heroes),

Also, Lumi joined the villains just because he could, and it looked fun

i dont have much on newer OC's lol, since i havent fleshed them out much lol

I also have a few more OC's i haven't talked about / fleshed out that much, like they're just an idea, but not a person yet.

Like uhh

Viz:

Theyre a hero with high anxiety, but despite having anxiety, and knowing he would get attention, interviews, etc. He still decides to be a hero, since to him, its the right thing to do. I still haven't showed them yet cause 1. i haven't drawn them yet, 2. with anxiety like them, i want to make sure i represent them well and make them realistic and that i don't make them like a stereotype

Starlight / Adrian Celeste:

Hes a self absorbed egocentric hero, and he's vain, he's kinda a joke hero i thought about, where like, he's self absorbed to the point its funny, hes still nice though, he doesn't show it much though, since he doesn't want to seem vulnerable and stuff. a simple backstory I thought about is that he was put down back then when he was young, so to make himself more confident, he started to compliment himself, and other stuff, but then it quickly spiraled put of control, and now hes like this. He also carries a mirror with himself at all times, just to admire himself, and his mirror in his room has sticky note surrounding where his face would be, and it says "perfect" "amazing" etc. also, he can glow, heal, teleport, and kinda has the ability to see the future (in like a vague way, like, he sees the stars and can sense something in the future, but its just really vague)

Jester / R.J. Santos: (Civilian name im not sure on yet)

Theyre a villain, a non serious villain, think like a cartoon villain, a goofy villain, they dont do any harm, just there to have fun. they also wanted to name themselves Jester Jinx, but since Jinx already had the name, they were okay with going with just Jester. Also, he's filipino. Also, he cares for young heroes (being an impromptu dad himself [long story where a kid of a hero wanted to be a villain, but the parent wanted them to be a hero, so the kid ran away, and got to casey, and casey took care of them and helped them be a villain {the kids, actually a teen, like 16, the teen is names Shadowstrike and their civilian name is Micheal, they hate the name by the way},]), and once, casey saw that the heroes were sending young heroes to his base to defeat him, and R.J. doesn't spot a singular a singular adult there, so he makes the young heroes (teens and even kids) sit down and stuff, and then he calls the heroes (he has their number cause they're usually on good terms), and yells at them over the phone for sending kids to a villain, and that they could've gotten hurt, and he gets so angry he starts shouting in filipino. Also! R.J. has a big family (based off my family), where his great grandma had 12 kids, and those kids (his grandparents and grand aunties and uncles) had kids (about 3 each), his aunties and uncles, and they have kids as well (about 3-5), his cousins and such, and his cousins had children as well, R.J. tries to remember them all by name, but its pretty hard, cause like, he has about

Lanford has been really sheltered in their Chantry (and abusively controlled by their Sire) since their Embrace in the 70s! And they've actually never had an incident of losing control to the Beast. So I think they'd say "Individuals are not monsters, that's simply a way of categorizing things which frighten or confuse us. They know about the history of the Tremere as mages but they consider thaumaturgy to be perfectly consistent with the prior Hermetic practices, or maybe even superior since it's using the capabilities of vitae to power it. They've never met a mage before but they would be super excited about that! :0 Lanford has met fey creatures and gotten super messed up on their blood though.

OK yes so Mark's sire is super old idk why the ST lowkey gave special snowflake syndrome but whatever he can have a sire thats over a thousand years old as a treat.

gasp. yes, that means he was around when the tremere went from a mage house to a vampire clan. that's nuts! he was already older than most humans because he was a mage trying to extend his lifespan. thats how he's so GotDamn old.

His name is Julius. I think he's technically 8th gen but he did weird blood sorcery shit to make Mark essentially an 11th gen as far as blood potency is concerned. He uses Mark as a spy/errand boy but Mark doesn't mind because, due to high level blood bond, he thinks Julius helps him a lot (technically does ig) and is really happy when he pleases Julius.

He is starting to recognize that, rationally, the only reason to help him would be out of fear, but the blood bond is still there oc which makes it complicated.

Julius keeps him financially stable, will fulfill basically any minor request Mark makes of him, and due to his high position in the Tremere keeps him safe politically just by being his sire.

In return Mark gives him weekly reports, does various spying things when requested, (largely against Julius's rival, Gaius, which is a whole nother' story), and is basically at his beck and call.

For his part Mark is mostly in awe of Julius, terror in the classical sense; sees him as super powerful, wants to please him; but at the same time recognizes that Julius is fairly like, inhuman and awful, so hides how much he cares abt humans and such, in fact he kinda feels ashamed of it, which is sad :(

Julius had Mark's ex spy on him before his embrace/while they were still dating - he didn't directly do it, but ordered another kindred to get info on Mark and thats how he did it. Basically ruined Sampson's life. So yeah. pretty fucked. A quote that lives in my head rent free is when Mark was concerned about sampson and asked Julius abt him for the first time Julius said "You can have many Sammys" so he clearly doesnt like. get it. lol.

No for real the Should've Adapted Yakuza 2 take is the only one that doesn't make even a little sense to me. I will say it. I feel like a lot of people still think it's a movie (even though I literally wrote it was a TV series...) and so they're mad they're "redoing the first movie instead of making a sequel" when that's not even what's happening.

Plus the show has no relation to the (at this point almost twenty-year-old) movie; completely different companies, completely different people working on it, completely different approach (RGGS actually having a say vs. Miike and co more or less just doing whatever).

Technically, it's even a different game--like, on top of it being Yakuza Kiwami rather than Yakuza, the series itself has changed drastically from what it was when the movie came out. I think the reason a number of people are disappointed by the movie is exactly that. Like IMO the movie is more or less (at least tonally) representative of what the appeal of the series was at the time, which is all it was trying to do. But most fans today haven't even played PS2 Y1 and Y2, let alone only played PS2 Y1 and Y2, so it can leave something to be desired.

With casting, my dream of a Tomoya Nagase Kiryu 'cause he's partly based on him was shattered so I'm biased lol, but I appreciate that Takeuchi's been bulking up for the role and changing his public image, and I'm excited to check out some of his previous work. I love Kaku already from Super Salaryman and other roles (DW AT ALL BTW GUESS WHO STILL HASN'T WATCHED EP 2 OF FIRST PENGUIN KLJSJKLFG) but I have yet to see him in a serious role so that'll be fun :)

But like. While I tried to pick images that were close to our images of Kiryu and Nishiki, these are promotional shots, not styled and costumed in-character. I think people are also kind of glossing over the timeskip. Like yeah, Takeuchi's only 30, but pre-timeskip Kiryu is 27 and he has to believably play him too. That's especially notable when the story of Y1 could easily be told in like 5 or 6 hours, so perhaps what we're doing for the other 2-3 hours is spending more time pre-timeskip. I'm kind of speculating even some 0 scenes may make it in, because they were described as being dressed in "flashy suits and patterned shirts" at the shoot.

Overall, I do personally regret starting the series with K1 and it's my least favorite starting point (out of 0, Y1/K1, 7, and Judgment), but at the same time it's the only story that can be properly told within one eight-hour season. So. Y'know. It makes the most sense. I'm of course hoping it turns out enjoyable regardless because I'm obligated to watch it either way for the wiki lmao (and hey, maybe if it does well enough to get renewed, my faves will get a turn). I do think it's got the most potential of any of the adaptations so far, at least, aside from the other upcoming Judgment one.

i hope you dont mind me adding on to this op, but ive also got some reasons as to why i think this isnt a permadeath.

-narratively, it just isnt really a satisfying death. this death would feel more like a, "look see, we can kill off a main character" and not an actual satisfying conclusion to a character. i think the only characters that would apply to of the batch are hunter and maaaybe crosshair (not saying i want them to die at all, just saying for the point lol).

-the placement of it in the episode and the time it was given, or rather, lack of time, was odd. usually, main character deaths are at the ends of episodes, left as cliffhangers or something like that, and are the climax to an episode. this was at the very beginning- technically the middle if you consider the two parters as one, but i digress. you wouldnt normally end an episode where a main member of the cast dies with, "we have to rescue other character" (in this case, omega) and "i am your sister"

-hemlock having the glasses and being the only one to confirm whether tech is dead...part of me questions why he would lie, since he could use both tech and crosshair's being at the prison as a draw for why they should come with him, but i do have an idea. hemlock is sadistic, but hemlock isnt a random murderer. he keeps people alive that he believes will be useful to him, and he keeps secrets very well. we all know tech is incredibly smart- i wonder if hemlock plans to use him for his aid, much like nala se? whatever he would do to tech to get him to cooperate, im not sure, but i think its a plausible theory

-it would split the batch in half perfectly. 3 on the outside, 3 on the inside. not a strong reason, but i do think it emphasizes more the nature of how torn apart they feel at the moment. literally split in half.

-this is just a personal opinion, but it doesnt really make much sense to me to have the batch get reunited, only for tech to have been lost on a mission in season 2. like, it would just feel very strange for tech to not be there.

heres my theory on why this happened and what it means for the show. i think that this was meant to introduce the concept of plan 99, and we are supposed to keep it in the back of our heads as something that will come back. i think tech has most likely been taken by hemlock as either a subject or an intellectual asset, or both, but i am not sure when this would come into play (for example, it would be strange to have a rescue tech arc right after the rescue crosshair and omega arc, but it might be too soon after his supposed death to rescue them all at once?). mostly, i think we probably wont know whether or not he survived until later into season 3 (which we better fucking get after THAT cliffhanger)

i guess it would somewhat make sense to focus more on a character who dies in this season if they know that theyre never going to have that character again, like an episode of project runway where theres a little too much focus on one of the competitors and you know that this is their elimination episode. however, much of his development feels unresolved, especially what theyre developing with phee.

am i absolutely certain hes alive? definitely not 😔 unfortunately, characters are killed off for shock value and/or to prove a point far too often in stories, prioritizing viewer reaction over a satisfying story. but do i think he could be alive? yeah! i really do think that if they actually killed one of the batch, it wouldve held more weight. i also think, once again, that tech is just a really weird choice of character to kill off.

Reasons why I believe this isn't a final Death

There's a couple parallels between Tech's death and Echo's supposed death. First of all, we don't see a body in either case. Not Echo's and also not Tech's. We do see Echo's charred helmet and we see Tech's broken goggles later on. The team also had to leave right away in both cases, otherwise they would've been captured/killed. And they both sacrificed themselves for the team. If Echo didn't die, then why should Tech?

All that character building this season. Like of that was for nothing, then that was terrible writing. If that was to make us more attached to Tech so that his death hurt more, that is also terrible writing. I mean, he got a whole ass lovestory-in-the-making and that's the character you'll kill off?? c'mon. just as he was learning more about people and showing affection and social interaction, and learning how to properly and respectfully communicate with Omega??? that's when you kill him off? c'mon.

The fact that it was Hemcock that found him. You know the guy who does experiments on clones? Why lose such a valuable test subject? if there were any signs of life from Tech, he must've saved him, if only to use him and maybe modify him (again, Echo parallels)

okay, i am bored and sleep deprived and i just went through @davekat-sucks's blog. this is a recipe for disaster. sigh. hope you don't mind me doing this ms. davekat sucks, its just that some of your takes were so frigid i just couldn't bring myself to ignore them. various thoughts under the cut

first off, id like to say that this not an attempt to blame you for making this blog, or for disliking davekat. you can ship whatever the fuck you want and express your opinion however you like. i actually really appreciate the courage. fuck yeah, go against the status quo. post about a controversial topic. fandom would be boring without people like you. but the thing is, your takes are so cold bestie. they are straight up frigid. i am so sorry but the sight of them got me freezing and shaking uncontrollably

why do you base so much of your criticism around hs2 and the epilogues whilst simultaneously claiming they're badly written and shouldn’t be canon? YES their characterisations were fucked in post-canon. that's the case for most characters!! it's kind of hypocritical to use post-canon as a basis to bash davekat and then turn around and completely disregard that when it comes to pairings like roxygen or rosemary. guess what! they were fucked over by post-canon too! and yet you're not going around claiming that johnroxy sucks, even though john basically abandoned roxy and cheated on her. you're not going around claiming rosemary is a horrible pairing because of the yiffy fiasco in homestuck 2. and you still like those ships. so do i!!

hs2 turned davekat into some kind of fanservice generator and robbed dave and karkat of most of their personalities, i agree. but that's because hs2 fucking sucks. they did that for most of the character anyway. why does it only matter to you when it's davekat? much to think about.

so yeah. im not going to address the criticism pertaining to the epilogues and beyond. im not defending them

another thing you keep bringing up is dave hating quadrants which, jesus fucking christ. it makes me doubt you have any reading comprehension skills. the label felt alien to him, yes. he initially rejected the concept because it seemed weird and off-putting, probably, and that's normal. most of the kids thought troll culture was weird at first. and! he didn't break up with terezi because he hated quadrants! he just doesn't like the polygamous aspect of it.

but let's suppose for the sake of argument that he actually, canonically, hates quadrants. what would that even mean? would that imply he would never get into a relationship with a troll, seeing as those would technically be quadrants? or that he doesn't feel any kind of quadrant-related romantic attraction? both of these were proven wrong by canon because: 1) he willingly got into a matespritship with terezi 2) humans can feel pale, pitch, and red attraction; they just label it differently. karkat elaborates on that in a conversation with john, probably around act6 act5. and davekat doesnt even fall squarely under any quadrant, so this is all pointless lol

one other point you brought up was that as soon as they got close to one another on the meteor, they stopped being active in the plot and disregarded all of the issues their friends were dealing with, proving that their relationship was lazy writing which caused their development to stagnate. this is a good point! but when you look into it, that's not really what happened.

the beta kids and the surviving trolls all began blending into the background during act 6 as the story began focusing on the alpha kids. most of them were sitting around, not particularly doing anything relevant, because there was nothing relevant to be done except for waiting. like kanaya, or davesprite, for example.

you mention that it was ooc for dave and karkat not to help terezi while she was getting abused. the thing is, terezi tried to keep her relationship with gamzee under wraps. she didn't really succeed at that, but people still didn't know exactly what was going on with them at first. karkat wasn't even told about it. he didn't even know she was dating gamzee up until very late into the trip. dave had just broken up with her and didn't know much about troll quadrants by that point, so he probably just thought it was all kismesis shit and didn't want to intrude. again, if he had known what was really going on, he probably would have intervened, but he only had a vague idea about it since terezi wasn't open about her relationship with gamzee. that is, up until the very end of the trip, and by that point dave and karkat WERE trying to encourage her.

you mention that they also didn't help rose with her addiction, but dave was trying! he spent a whole scene trying to get her to drink less! (the one right before the rosemary kiss)

but the thing is. most of the meteor shenanigans happened off screen, so we're not certain of anything. but again, for the sake of argument, let's assume they actually weren't even trying to help their friends. why would that matter? why would the fact that they weren't rushing to fix all of their friends emotional issues have any impact on their feelings for each other? they're traumatised teenagers, they make mistakes! theyre flawed characters!

kanaya didnt try to help terezi with the gamzee situation either. she didnt try to contact the ship either. instead, she spent most of her time with rose. does that make rosemary a horrible pairing? is it ooc for rose and kanaya? from what i've seen, this doesnt seem to be your opinion on the subject.

it's recaps, i agree they could have hints of like, byler and so on, but overall, it's a recap, they're not promising mi*even is gonna be endgame by making a recap of season 3. the story's going forwards, things are obviosuly changing as the seasons go. technically no one can go up to them after season 4 (if byler happens) and yell that they said they love each other when it was literally a recap, like whatever happens in these next seasons doesn't change what happened before and mi*even happened, they both at some point in season 3 said they love each other, there's no denying that. so with all due respect, mentioning that doesn't automatically promise it's gonna last forever

that's what I've been trying to say!! LOL - that we shouldn't count the mike & el recaps that have mileven in them as pro-m!leven evidence for season 4!! Ofc the "where we left off" promos would have mileven in them...they're about s3...when m!leven was dating... LOL. It's nothing we haven't seen before and says nothing about where the show is going. But I've gotten so many asks and I've seen so much talk, that this is what people think the recap promos are doing...

I also totally agree with you that these promos aren't promises of m!leven, and while I think there's no basis for people to yell at ST after s4 that they were led to believe m!leven is happening again in s4 when it's not - if we know anything about this fandom, they will. Even if it's not logical.

I've been saying I don't think this will end up doing them favors in the long run, and it may end up backfiring on them a little, because of how strong a reaction people are having to these promos...People are taking these little recap vids as definitve evidence for s4, when they aren't really, and ST isn't helping this by responding to comments about how they can't wait for s4 m!leven, etc...

Since El and Mike's recaps, pretty much all I've heard and seen is people saying that they are sure that m!leven is being emphasized for s4, and people starting to doubt byler.

So I think because these recap promos have honestly been given maybe a little too much importance in our minds and been blown out of proportion a bit as well possibly, that people are going to say "well they were "hyping up" m!leven pre-s4 and were setting it up and led us to believe it was happening & byler is so unexpected, they never hinted at it, but they did hint at m!leven how could they do this it makes no sense".

People are taking this so strongly it is only adding fuel to the fire for them to hate on byler when it happens, and when m!leven fans don't get the m!leven they think they were "promised" by these recap promos, they are going to be disappointed and upset, and depending on how it goes, they could lose some viewers if people are really really upset.

First impression: roman was actually my original least favorite character oops. not that i didn’t like him, i just. liked him less than the others. although this does come with the context that while i didn't get into the fandom until dwit, i did started watching the series a few months before dwit came out; i just didn’t start participating in the fandom until a little later. and i started with the episodes before janus was there. so for that period of time where i was just watching stuff with the core four, roman was my least favorite. i thought he was mildly annoying lol. 

Impression now: he is tied with remus for my third favorite!! (although. bear in mind that janus and virgil are tied for second favorite and i love all the sides so much, so the difference between favorites is very small lol.) he’s a good boy and he’s doing his best. he’s still got a lot of areas where he can be kind of immature, but he has gone through a lot of character growth since the start of the show & im proud of him while simultaneously wanting him to start making progress on the lots of room he still has to grow. i think he is really fun to write fic for, bc he has such a big personality, but he’s also got lots of insecurity, and he’s also trying really hard to improve himself, and he can also be really mean (sometimes on purpose and sometimes not), and he’s also really sweet, and he can be self-centered but also self-sacrificing, and just. there’s so much fun juicy characterization details to dig into.

Favorite moment: god there are so many good quotes from him ugh. how to choose. “five abs and one pec” and “time out for thee” are some of my favorites probably. or the entire opening of the courtroom scenario in svs, that’s also really good.

Idea for a story: okay so. i thought of this during the prinxiety renaissance right after fwsa. idk if anyone has done something like this or not, i haven’t seen any fics with this idea but also prinxiety is a ship i don’t often seek out content for so i definitely could have missed it.

but imagine. just post fwsa. like immediately after the episode ends basically. roman and virgil are still talking about the five-star michelin restaurant in france. and they come to the conclusion that,,,,,, you know,,,,,, that’s very fancy,,,,,, so if thomas were to take nico on a date there,,,,,,,, it would probably be a good idea if they practiced to get ready,,,,,, just so that thomas is prepared. obviously. no other reasons.

and the long and short of it is that roman makes a fancy restaurant in the imagination for him and virgil to go on a date to. except the date is totally just practice for thomas. it has nothing to do with roman or virgil or any feelings they might or might not hold for each other. definitely not. ahahaha.

and they are both badly-crushing-on-each-other messes the entire time, but they still have a Lot of fun just hanging out on the technically-a-date-but-also-not-but-also-yes!! and then like at the end they eventually manage to be like “so,,,,,,,,, this is not just about thomas and nico,,,, is it” and then like they kiss or whatever. hehehehehe.

Unpopular opinion: ooh. hm. i think the “roman should apologize first! janus should apologize first!” argument is,,,,, kind of pointless?? they both messed up. and for both of them, the thing they need to apologize for goes way beyond just that conversation. it literally doesn’t matter who apologizes first. both of them hurt each other and need to make it right. janus was very manipulative towards roman and used him for janus’s own benefit multiple times, and roman has been one of the main people demonizing janus to thomas and encouraging thomas to see janus as bad (he only temporarily stopped doing this when they both wanted the callback).

Favorite relationship: hm. i love roman very much but very few relationships with him are in my top ships. and i already talked about creativitwins in my remus post lol. i like LAMP a lot!! let’s go with that!! i think they are absolutely precious together!! they complement each other really nicely and they make for such a fluffy sweet polycule i adore them. 

Favorite headcanon: the Imagination, honestly. just. that whole concept that we’ve come up with. it’s great. does that count as a roman headcanon??? lol.

or the idea of him and remus sharing a room, that’s absolutely hilarious. (and you know that if it’s a bunk bed situation, they fight over who gets top bunk a lot but remus always wins, and if it’s a half-of-the-room-apiece situation, roman is the one who is very strict about keeping their own stuff in their own half of the room. plus also them awkwardly being like “okay so i still hate you BUT also i know you well enough to know EXACTLY how to comfort you and cheer you up when you’re sad, which i am doing now just so you will be quiet and definitely not because i care about you in any way. obviously” when one of them is upset about something. <33)

oh also, the “literally bruised ego” thing is,,, kind of like in a gray area where im not quite sure if it’s canon or fanon??? but that’s definitely really fun for angst purposes.

Real update to the fans

I know ive been needing to release, to have that cry moment, and at this point ive technically needed to since npc grillz. But whatever, since the breakup lol i havent had a huge sobbing despair moment, crying so hard that my stomach hurts moment. Literally since the moment i read his first response, I was like oo tears are coming. Tears are COMING. This moment will end my life. I'm not even kidding. It was so much embarrassment and sadness and anger that i knew the tears would come and i would break down.

And i felt myself being more angry than anything else. I was so mad at the divine for being "wrong" because thats the part that was most scary to me. It felt like i was so off mark after feeling so confident from the divine, that i questioned if im just a crazy person in the stanley parable. Like if i made ALL of it up. And i know that sounds silly, to think that i could make up all the stuff between me and redacted but can you imagine how scary the possibility of it would sound? The only time i was close to being brought to tears was when i was thinking about if i truly needed help, like needed to go to an insane asylum. Thats how deep the cut hit, and i didnt know how to start addressing the wound mentally because i didnt know if the route of the problem was redacted being mean and hurtful super unhealed, or if i was MENTALLY INSANE and needed to ask for stronger meds. I'm not kidding, it chilled me to my core.

But.....I never cried. I never struck the emotional cord. At my most emotional i was truly just angry. Felt like i had been lied to, i was crazy and unlovable and ya know all my worst fears at once? Type beat. The thing i was most scared of, losing him, abandonment. And it happened. And i had to admit that i "accepted" to myself that i didnt care if he left. But really i just didnt think he would. But he did.....he left with the door swinging and i was like oh no my worlds about the shatter.

But ive really had some honest reflection about and its been difficult to convince myself im not a lunatic, i was right, and that its not a mistake that right before that happened i had a download where i said, im lady jesus, im good at what i do!! I deserve love and to be loved and im not letting anyone gaslight me into thinking im wrong.

And then que the hardest tower ever in the world. I was immediately thrown into the hardest test where i had to prove that i actually believed in myself over anything and ANYONE that 5:55am no one could gaslight me into looking down on myself.

And I really almost failed.....i was drowning for a second there. Silence on the blog cause i couldnt face the world that i made for myself if i didnt know if i believed in it. (To the person reading this one day and learning from my story, just know that i took you into account when i decided to come back). And again I was waiting for this big.....water fall, damn break of tears to inspire some tear driven essay but it never came....

ive had a problem with my tenses since i was like 5. my father says “this sentence is in the past, present, and future” and that sums it up LOL i also lose motivation, as i said before, and i suck at dialogue/movements of body.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

ive done it in like merlin magic language, but that was the extent. i think if you can do it, thats badass and you should go for it. im not fluent enough in anything to be comfy with that

OHOH INTERESTING okay ill actually have to say two. my most kudos fic, the truth is finally breaking through, because!!! i remember fucking enjoying myself the entire time. this was a guilty pleasure fic and i enjoyed writing every fucking second and the fact it is my most liked literally means the world to me. people liking the one i had the most fun writing just really makes me 🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰 (plus i added my ToG ladies in it and i LOVED IT) and the second being the book im writing now because i am in love with my characters and i have incredible friends hyping me about it all the time❤️it wouldn’t be possible without them

Haikyuu SakuAtsu fanfic recs: series edition ;)

ALRIGHT LOVES, BUCKLE UP! IM FORCING MYSELF TO FIND MOTIVATION LOL

As I was making that cursed SakuAtsu fanfic rec post (it really is cursed, but it’ll get done eventually cause I do love the SakuAtsu too much, when tho? only god know LOL), I decided that if I’m gonna finish it, imma have to break it up. SO that’s why this is our lovely series edition post LOL. Originally, it WAS writers, tags, series, then single fics BUT I decided to scrap tags and even then I was like it’s too long..... And so, this post materialized LOL (mayhaps writers next? who knows anymore cause I certainly don’t LOL). These are ONLY some of the series that I absolutely adore, and I say some because 1) the tag is literally like 4k fics long and I was on like page 20 something and I have SO many tabs open rn for SakuAtsu, so chances are I missed one or five LOL :’((((( and 2) my ao3 account hasn’t been made yet (should’ve done this a looooooong time ago) and so I don’t have them all saved anywhere :( (these just sound like excuses LMFAO) So these are just the ones I saw and was like OOP I LOVE and then added LOL (and so they’re in no particular order hehe). I also didn’t *** any of them cause they’re all so freakin good and even if you randomly chose one, you will not be disappointed.

As per usual, pls check WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES for series and each individual fic before reading and make sure you’re taking care of yourselves (since mental health is key!) Stay healthy loves <3

Terminal Curiosity by favspacetwink, moonlumie (E) // CHECK WARINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES!!! this is one of the BEST series I’ve read for this ship and even though I tend not to read WIP, IT’S WORTH IT! Please read ALL the tags before going into any of the fics in this series because there’s some real spicy stuff that may not be your cup of tea!

your highs and lows by astroeulogy (T,M,E) // this fic made me go on a roller coaster of feels from start to (tentative) finish :))) It’s great and I love it AHHHHH The progression in their relationship is just so ajfkjsf, and I just adore how Atsumu just broke(?) during that first fic and the number of double takes he did, v relatable LOL.

Different Kinds of Dysfunctional by DeathBelle (T,E) // I LOVE the entrance to this fic and how it flowed so well. I think Atsumu is characterized really well throughout this series (I could totally see Atsumu bringing the same thing up over and over again LOL), and his development was done beautifully (You just want to make me say it.,,, Kinda, yeah.). I really freakin love this series so please go ahead and read it don’t be shy hehehe.

we call everything on the ice, "love" by awkwardedgeworth (T) // I LOVE this fic omg,,, it’s in series, but it’s only two fics LOL... Anyway, Notte Stellata is one of my favorite SakuAtsu fics and I have reread it way TOO many times and the fanpage fic IS SO AMAZING (AND FUNNY ASF PLS). I really love ice skating AU’s too so this really made this ‘series’ all the more better <333333

know you better & related stories by theglitterati (T,M,E) // this is definitely one of the best relationship development series I’ve read, I love it so much! It really touches all the bases, and the progression is just SO good. It really is the fic version of the get along shirt, extended edition LOL.

flutterbird (a collection of sakuatsu one-shots) by wordstruck (T,M,E) // this series is such an easy pick up because it’s a bunch of one-shots (esp. if you’re not into smut cause there is some), BUT all of them are def worth a read. Personally, the third one, the sakusa kiyoomi listography, is my favorite (cause imma sucker for Sakusa), but that’s just personal preference hehe :)

Atsumu + Sakusa + The National = ? by isaksara (syailendra) (T,M) // this is another stand alone fic series but with AUs :D I don’t even know like most (ie. all) of the references (LMFAO), but I still read all of them LOL. Again, a personal favorite (without any references LOL) is the second one, famous angels (never come through england), it’s really funny and good and I just love it okay?

Better For Us Both by abrandnewheart (M) // (this was CP from my angst fic rec post LOL tho it is slightly edited cause istg my writing style changes every post LOL) THE MUG FIC. There is a sequel and when I saw it, it took me another week to read it cause I was like,,, am I ready to have my heart break again? No LOL. But the sequel is actually not as angst (but there’s still angst), so if you want to be like semi-broken or whatever, just read the sequel LOL (also it’s Sakusa POV HEHE). It’s so sad and it made me physically hurt every time someone even mentioned mugs afterwards (LOL why am I so dramatic but it’s the truth :///). Go ahead and hurt with me. You should read it even if you don’t like angst because you know what they say, no pain no gain :’)

parallax error: angle of inclination by min_mintobe (T) // okay so technically this ‘isn’t a series’, but it is two fic that are related, and what is that if not A SERIES :DDDDD Anyway, I really love this fic enough that I would find loopholes in my own dang post to recommend it LOL. I really love the service ace bet between Sakusa and Atsumu (I do think it is a superior headcannon (it’s hc right?)) but I also love what’s left unsaid by both in each other’s POVs hehe. If you want to go straight to Sakusa’s POV (cause their different POVs of the same fic), here it is parallax error: line of sight. You can read either first, but I recommend you read both eventually :)

to make any other mistake by honeymilktea (rosevtea) (T) // I, myself, am a very big fan of college Haikyuu (tho idk if it seems like that LOL), and this fic is very much up my alley hehe. I really like the idea that they are both TA’s and that Atsumu would totally bribe Sakusa into fake dating him as well as Sakusa wearing his brightest outfits to spite Atsumu.

How Do You Know? by awkwardedgeworth (T) // these fics are both so funny omg. The google search histories, the trial and error, and just everything in these two fics gives me so much dopamine LOL. There’s one POV for both end of the ship, though their tragedies are slightly different.

the human disaster chronicles by firtree (G,T) // is this another Atsumu gay panic fic? Yes, yes it is and I have absolutely no shame in recommending it hehe. I realllllllly like this fic and Atsumu having a break down cause Sakusa didn’t follow his routine? It is the move. Anyway, pls read this series cause like the title suggests, it really is a disaster (but at least there’s love right? LOL).

I Love You (Though it's Inadvisable) by Anubis_2701 (T) // okay the series itself is a wip (as in only one fic for now LOL), but the fic is so good, I couldn’t leave it off :))))) First, I do love a good soulmate AU and although I’m not a big fan on the body switching AUs, THIS one was SO good!!! It gets really cheesy and fluff at the end, but the beginning of this fic was just so immaculate, that we’re gonna ignore how much the ending made me want to stick my head into a hole (cause it was so FLUFF OMG).

The Germaphobe and the Asshole by metaandpotatoes (T,E) // so this series is also actually a WIP, but it’s okay I only read the first and the last one anyway cause they’re basically stand alone’s LOL. This series focuses a lot on Sakusa’s mysophobia, so if you’re not a fan of the hc, you should prolly pass hehe. TBH, my favorite is the third one, Avoidance Behavior, but that’s mainly cause I really like SunaOsa and I love the brother bond in it!

you are the cause of my euphoria by SugarHighs (T) // ajsfljksadhjkdfk is my first thoughts while reading this series cause ATSUMU WOULD. He would start posting thirst trap pics (which really reminded me of Wonho) in order to prove he was the most good looking member of MSBY. Tho, we do love the clowning of one Sakusa Kiyoomi, as done in the third fic (PLEASE NUMBER 17 AND Cheezel). Even if you can’t get yourself to read the other fics, read the third one, 5 Ways To Tell If The Person You're Dating Is The One, for the free serotonin boost plsplspls.

We do stan having microwaves and mini fridges hehe. I support the ramen endeavors but oatmeal is gross, I said what I said. Anyway, I love the tags in the second fic, so even if you don’t end up reading it, read the tags,,,, they’re funny okay?

and i press you to the pages of my heart by volchitsae (T) // I LOVE THIS ONE, teehee again the college AU makes another appearance LOL. I REALLY love this writer, and this one is so funny but cute at the same time. It’s another two POV fic, but you’ll want to read this one in order hehe. Again, the ending is so FLUFF, that my head wanted to take a visit to the underground BUT ITS OKAY.

affection and acid reflux by volchitsae (T) // so the first fic is ~angst~ but IT GETS BETTER OKAY, happy endings. HAPPY ENDINGS. Anyway, there’s some really cute Sakusa in this one (esp. when he talks to the boy at the village LOVE HIM) and a healthy amount of angst as well. I really like this fic and guess what it is? Say it with me, COLLEGE AU LOL.

how big the hourglass, how deep the sand by volchitsae (E) // did I just recommend the same writer three times in a row? Yup and I think that says something LOL (tbh I like some of their stand alone fics more tho LMFAO but that doesn’t mean these series are bad nononono not at ALL (this sounded sarcastic but that was not the intention LOL)). This one is ~magical~ (v literally) and has some kinky stuff (holy water ftw) in it, so tread carefully :) I would make sure to read the tags before each one because it gets kinda steamy LOL.

^^ if I had to choose between these three, I liked and i press you to the pages of my heart the most just cause the plot was my type LOL. But they’re all good hehe.

a study on you(th) and reverie by sieges (G,T) // this series is such a sad series :( The first two are the only SakuAtsu but the third one is an angst Osamu one so there’s that LOL (and ofc the fourth one is KuniYama (is that their ship name idk)) But the first one is a moving on fic (which I liked) and the second is like basically a fake break up (which I liked more LOL) and both have some nice shares of angst and fluff so choose your battles wisely (or just read both LOL).

Burden of Blame by DeathBelle (E) // CHECK WARINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES!!! ah yes, the mafia fic LOL. I REALLY LOVE THIS FIC. I felt so bad for Atsumu the entire fic and yes it is, ATSUMU BEST BOY time. Did I really just recommend this series AGAIN for the THIRD TIME in THREE SEPARATE POSTS? Apparently LMFAO I didn’t even know TBH LOL. I just really like this one,,,,,, okay? But pls Atsumu just here for the ride man cause he BEST BOY. Anyway, if you want to see my other comments of this fic that I forgot I did links here :D (links and here are two separate links to two separate posts LOL).

OKAY so that’s most of the series that I saw and was like gotta put this here LOL. And do you see how long this is (I know I’m missing so many series I like istg when I find them later imma cry or just make another post LOL).... Can you imagine how long my actual fic fic one is LOL (i’m not kidding tho it’s so long I might just do fics with their actual summaries instead of adding my invalid, piss poor reviews :/). Ugh the more I think about it, the more I lose motivation to finish LMFAO, so imma go be no thoughts head empty, but I hope you enjoyed reading these series! I love SakuAtsu SO much, so there’s lots more to come (is that good or bad idek). I know I was kinda lazy on the warnings (my bad), so I hope you all were attentive and made sure to check before reading! Also if there are any errors, send me a message/ask!
