as a major yoglabs enjoyer (phosphor here!!), im here to provide you a shortlist of the best lore episodes, if you wanted to get a taste! Hypercubed also directly ties into yoglabs lore, but that series was unfortunately cut very short, so there are only about 4 episodes in total :(.

EP 1: Welcome to the Facility - exactly what it says on the tin, this is the introduction to the series! also places it directly in the timeline as 'mid jaffa factory'.

EP 37/38: Soul Absorber/Clone Lab - honestly the Most important lore episodes of yoglabs, to me anyway. made me actually cry as a child, even through their silly goofy acting. also has a hamlet reference, so its got a special place in my heart.

EP 50: Bacterial Menace - this is in the Welcome to Yoglabs music video! this is actually a little low on lore in comparison, i just really love it, honestly.

EP 52: Holodeck - lightly used for some people's BOTC headcanons I believe! also talks about the microchips! also nightly highlights the 'decay' of the honeydew clones post episode 38.

EP 67: Teletubbies - i know, i know, but the episode cold opens with Honeydew crawling out of his own *grave* so. (also revealing xephos has been burying every single clone of the 8937 since episode 38). this isn't how you grieve, dude. also features xephos leaving honeydew do die during yoglabs self destruct??? ive got. feelings about that.

special mentions: EP 39 -> EP 40 showing the number of honeydew clones xeph has gone through jumping by the thousands over the course of a single episode, EP 55 with a xephos!irsraphel easter egg

I've been listening to Loser, Baby from Hazbin Hotel on repeat despite having a minimal interest in Hazbin Hotel and tbh I think Loser, Baby might go in the "songs to listen to if you need cheering up" playlist lol.

It's just such a funny song but also the message isn't horrible. I love that it starts off sounding like Husk is just being a dick to Angel Dust for the sake of being a dick but no, he has a point to make (although I will say that it definitely feels like Husk is intentionally making it seem like he's being a dick to be a dick just to get a rise out of Angel, especially in the show lmao). So here are my takeaways from it:

Because I vaguely know what Husk is like in terms of his personality overall, I'm pretty confident in saying that he was intentionally trying to get a rise out of Angel to prove a point. Genuinely watching Angel slowly lose his mind as Husk bullies him is hilarious lmao

The entire song is basically Husk trying to get Angel to accept himself as he is and realize he's not alone, because Husk and Angel's flaws and trauma don't have to completely destroy them.

Disney underutilized Keith David in The Princess and The Frog

Husk says "But letting walls down, it can sometimes set you straight" and I think that's one of the biggest takeaways from Loser, Baby. Sometimes (usually. always) opening up is the first step to recovery.

The message of Loser, Baby is very much "You're not alone and you should feel more than free to embrace and own your flaws" and I love it. Loser, Baby doesn't suggest that being a loser is a bad thing, but something to embrace. Husk's goal isn't to put down Angel Dust, it's to get him to embrace a part of himself he's grown to hate and tell him that being damaged doesn't mean he should give into hopelessness (hell, he even accepts the parts of Angel that Angel himself hates with no hesitation), and especially in the context of the episode Loser, Baby appears in it's not a bad message.

i love these two and i love this song and i love how loser, baby promotes embracing aspects of yourself you hate

And tbh even a basic understanding of star wars is enough to get u thru most of it, what I love about the universe in general is that yes there are lots of rules but at the same time there's no rules at all?? You can do whatever you want as a fan and there's not rly anything ppl can do to stop you 😂

but for people who ARE seeing this for the first time, my star wars s/i is a Jedi Knight and my bff and I worked together to basically make an oc to be her Padawan! his name is Kepler Quinn and he's my perfect beautiful boy that I love 🥺

a lot of his character development comes from both coming into his own as a person through his training and through his relationships to others. He's been through a lot of rejection in his life already, so he kind of put up walls and has to learn to let people through them! Especially my s/i, who decides to dedicate herself to training him and making him see himself the way she sees him: as amazing! He's got a lot of really impressive skills, he's very in tune with the force when it comes to listening to it for insight, he's just not naturally a good fighter. That doesn't get you very far during a war 😅 but she thinks he's perfect! and she, and the other friends he makes are all part of his story.

probably one of THE most embarrassing / audacious things i have ever done that haunts me to this day was when i was 12-14 cant remember exactly when, i saw this gorgeous art of a ship i liked from [redacted], and i was like "i have GOT to recreate this" and decided to make a duplicate of it on a HUGE piece of mixed media paper like 18 x 24 inches, no idea y i needed to do this but i sketched it out trying to get it exactly the same as the original art, and watercolored it, it was actually kind of impressive since i dont ever work large or use traditional media, BUT it was legit of 2 anime boys basically kissing on the floor with roses 💀💀💀💀💀💀 and i didnt even bother to hide that shit or anything, like i just put it away in the closet cuz thats the only place it would FIT, and im p sure my entire fam saw it like READ ✔️ and they said NOTHING about it 🫠 i dont know if i disposed of it before i moved out like it can very much still be in my closet at my parents apt now oh my god im gonna crumble to dust if i see that piece of paper again
