Does Kris bearing the knife at the end of ch1 intend to imply that, with out the soul, Kris can operate independently from us? As in, OUR choices don't matter and are trailed along a set script, but Kris's are important to watch for?

Is it Susie's hopes/dreams/choices that influences the game such as her s-actions and healing blast as well as diverging the route in ch2? Is it the player truly taking the path of the weird route as their own decision or through an Intended Exploit using Noelle's same freedom of choice to gain strength through execution and progress the story in such a unique way? And, with the application of independently interacting /games/, what data will be transferred between and be buried within pinged triggers from other chapters?

..... Is this why the shadow mantle is missing?.. That's why ch3 & 4 will be going together, I think. Unused or discarded concepts like those that form Jevil and Spamton is equivalently corrupted, obscured and optional. The game itself is also not fully complete, with each chapter literally building on the last in its game. We currently have a way to obtain a piece of the shard and its corresponding secret boss item in Castle Town, and considering the... I don't know. Intentionally self referential and buggy and literally game-changing nature of deltarune already, how surprised would you really be to find an item you can actually bring back? If it were related to whichever companions or characters in the next chapters, or potentially within chapters we've already combed through?

Side note. I don't think this is ever talked about but we all know Tim maybe (def) killed some assassins when he blew up the league. But there is much potential in him first breaking that rule earlier.

In the first issue of RR Tim says he chose the RR costume because, and I quote, 'crossing lines -- so nothing would come back to Bruce or Dick. [He] chose this costume because it was already tarnished...'

And at the beginning of the issue he mentions no one died. But other than that I don't think he does. And there could be fights that took place off the page and junk.

Did anyone else catch that part in the recent Pads podcast appearance when she said she feels like she has to go to college to be good at something? (About 13:40) For one, what an elitist point of view for someone with her résumé. Secondly, what an interesting peek into what I imagine to be her long list of resentments.

I mean, think about it: if that’s her belief and she went to Tisch, what must it be like to be married to someone who decided not to go to college and yet she has only maintained her shred of relevance achieved in the early 2000s because of him? She’s got this experience that she believed was supposed to give her an advantage…and it did not. There’s no way she’s not salty about that as an incredibly competitive perfectionist.

And now she makes glorified commercials and she can’t even do those coherently most of the time. She’s not an actress, she’s a mannequin. Thank goodness she didn’t also pay for that education out of her own pocket!

Okay so, I know I don’t usually do text posts, but I had an idea about Fresh!Greaser (not the ship, but if Fresh controlled Greaser as a host)

Starting off, I feel that Fresh wouldn’t actually keep the Greaser aesthetic if he controlled Grease. But, due to feeling an urge to stay in the 1960s (and also not wanting to look threatening), he’d take on a half-soc half-mod like style. (He’d keep the leather jacket, just spruce it up a bit.)

They’d wear sun mask sunglasses, and project their thoughts onto those. Except the glasses would be slightly taller than regular pairs.

Now about the hair, there would be grey hairs sprinkled throughout. Since, Grease already having weak ahh magic, would be hit pretty hard by this. When he would come back to his senses after the possession (I’m basing this heavily off a fic I read), he’d be horrified. As his perfect, beautiful hair was now RUINED.

I have a feeling they’d still hate hippies though, mostly likely even worse than before.

One thing Fresh would hate about having Greaser as a host though, would be the crippling addiction to cigarettes that would carry through. And that factor alone would encourage him to leave Greaser early.

Uehhhhmmm for the rest I’m nawt sure yet. I’ll prob most a design later.

when the ackermans were first created, marley prob genetically engineered the ackerbond to be activated from conception, since by nature the ackermans can’t be controlled, including by the founding titan. at their core they’re basically walking forces of nature. strong. don’t bow to anything or anyone.

but as such they have an unwavering sense of loyalty to who the ackerman chooses to be loyal to. the ackerbond happens organically by choice. every time.

so later down the family tree, marley learned too late the ackerbond isn’t genetic. if at least one parent is an ackerman, they will always produce an ackerman, but the bond doesn’t carry. it’s learned. marley tried to do population control and other atrocities but these later generations couldn’t be pinned down, of course. naturally i feel like they gravitated back to the king and eldia since… that is their blood, at the core. seeing how ackermans were created through “titan science” it had to be the case that the first trial cases were eldians.

how the ackerbond worked for the first generations goes like this: slavery like eren said (yes he was lying at the table scene etc but i like to believe he came up with the lie from this). one sided. any order their liege made, the ackerman had no bodily choice but to do it. (personal hc again) the liege and the ackerman don’t share bodily sensations or mutual emotions.

but then, for the later generations, the ackerbond is free to occur organically. it helps that it’s canon that every single ackerman retains the fighting experience from all previous ones, which makes the newer ones even stronger. this is different from the forced engineering. the ackerman is still more susceptible to orders and fierce loyalty, but the relationship w their liege is completely equal. neither of them would even be that conscious of it. and the more “intimate” the two become, cue the bodily sensations and almost… empathic shared emotions. they’re still their own person, they disagree just like normal people, but the bond is unmistakable and much stronger than if they were normal.

feeling either one of them die is the most agonizing pain. it’s like a tearing sensation, can barely be described but as being torn apart from the inside out. left feeling only like half of their former self. but they still retain their independence as their own person, so it’s not like one dies on the inside when the other dies for real.

and sex? this is gonna sound outlandish but my headcanon the ultimate act of bonding. when that sort of intimacy is even introduced to the relationship, both liege and ackerman experience a sort of (i am not saying heat i am not saying heat i am not) unique need. like they’ll crave each other so much until penetration happens (ik that’s an outdated idea but my hc). and after that point they’re Bonded bonded yk. i feel like they each retain each other’s past memories and experiences. like the bond could not be stronger.

but anyway they’re completely equal. it’s like the truest love. the purest love. they’d give their lives to protect each other, although the ackerman feels it the most. yes.

I still remember all too well when the Pulse shooting happened... it hit so hard as a massive attack on the LGBTQ+ community...

The local pride here was like the following week and I sat in the breakroom at work and talked with a queer coworker about our fears of going (it was the first yr I had ever considered going... I didn't go... and still have never been to a Pride event)

I remember texting my friend from school to see how he and his boyfriend were holding up (they lived in NY at the time but I still felt the need to reach out)

It just... sucks. Its heartbreaking. And it makes me so fucking mad that there are people out there that dont think we have a right to exist.

People cry about free speech and people being allowed to say what they want and "oh if it upsets you just ignore them!"

How can I ignore them with their "freedom of speech" encourages others to gun us down?
