Loki and Mobius unceremoniously strolled back to their quarters, nary exchanging a word or even a glance.

They approached the elevator, Mobius hitting the button and waiting by Loki's side, hearing the subtle tick, tick, tick of the elevator approaching their floor.

It wasn't until after they entered the elevator that Loki shot Mobius a glance, to which the analyst returned the glance with a tired smile.

"We did good today," Loki said, trying to get Mobius to catch his eye.

"Yeah," Mobius said, eyes fixed to the floor.

"We did all we could've done."

"I could've done better."

"Mobius—"

"Just—" Mobius turned to Loki, about to snap at him, before taking a deep breath and letting it out. "—Don't. Please. Don't try to comfort me. I—" He sighed, exasperated. "I fucked up, okay? I almost got one of our guys killed, not to mention losing the variant without a trace."

"It wasn't your fault that the expulsion method backfired," Loki said, resting a hand on Mobius's shoulder. "I mean, who the hell could've known that this variant was immune to fire?"

"I could've known. I should've known."

"Mobius—"

"I should've checked his file, this is all my fault—"

"The responsibility of vetting our targets wasn't entirely on you. We had dozens of other agents that glossed over that. It was—" Loki paused, gathering his thoughts. "...An institutional failure, alright? And besides, beforehand, we were caught up in that surprise meeting with Renslayer, so you wouldn't have had time to check, anyway."

The elevator dinged, the doors opening. Mobius exited first, Loki following close behind him as they walked back to the agent's quarters.

"It wasn't your fault, okay?" Loki said, as Mobius fumbled with the keycard to his front door.

The agent nodded, staring into the door blankly for a moment before scanning the card and leading Loki in.

"Can I get you anything? Water? Coffee?" Mobius said, shrugging off his jacket.

"I just need to sleep, I think," Loki said, slipping off his shoes and tie, watching Mobius as he did so. "Are you okay?"

"I'm— I'm fine. Just need to sleep, like you said." Mobius replied, struggling to keep the tremble out of his hands as he filled a glass with water.

Loki didn't believe Mobius's answer for a second, but decided not to pry.

"I'm going to go take a shower," He said.

"Okay," Mobius replied, absentmindedly.

...

Loki emerged from the bathroom, towel drying his curls when he saw Mobius. He was sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, struggling to stifle his sobs.

Loki's heart sank. His first instinct was to rush over and comfort his friend, though he knew that the second Mobius knew Loki saw him, he would clear his throat and act like everything was fine.

Instead, he set the towel down on the floor and walked over to Mobius slowly, hoping that the agent didn't hear him, as that would immediately make Mobius panic and shut down.

Mobius only lifted his head as he felt the couch beside him dip, looking up to see Loki looking at him with a concerned expression.

Damn it.

"Loki, I—"

"Mobius. Don't lie to me. Please."

Mobius was left with his lips slightly parted, mid-dismissal. Loki stared into his eyes, his gaze sharp and determined, almost frightening. Love is a dagger.

"Tell me what's wrong. Please," Loki pleaded.

The agent sighed, resigned.

"I just...I can't shake the feeling that it's all always my fault, you know?" Mobius said, his eyes flickering back down to the floor. "I feel like no matter what I do, it's never gonna be enough, and I just— end up being a failure. Putting everyone at risk. Not accomplishing the one task I was set out to do."

He sighed, rubbing his neck anxiously.

"It makes me think I'm the problem. And I feel like I didn't used to be. I used to be good at this. I used to be sharp, and clever, with an impeccable track record. And now, I just can't stop...messing everything up."

Mobius felt his eyes well up with tears again, to his dismay.

"...I feel like all I ever do is let people down."

It was like a knife to his chest, Loki hearing that from Mobius, who was, in his eyes, the most clever man he'd ever known.

"Mobius. Look at me," Loki said, taking the agent's hands in his. "You are not letting anyone down, and you are not a failure. You're the smartest man in this entire godforsaken place. And I mean that."

Mobius smiled minutely, still struggling to keep Loki's gaze.

"I appreciate it, Lokes. I'm just..." Mobius sighed deeply, his shoulders drooping. "Tired. I'm so tired, Loki."

The agent couldn't keep the tears in his eyes from falling at that. Loki gently placed his hand on Mobius's cheek, wiping a tear away with his thumb. "I know, my dear. But we're here. We're okay. Everyone is okay."

Mobius nodded, his head falling forward in exhaustion.

"Let's get you to bed," Loki said.

Loki pulled the covers up over Mobius's shoulders. The god bit his lip, hesitant to leave, but he turned to do so anyway.

"Wait," Mobius murmured.

Loki's heart leapt. He turned back.

"Would you— Would you wanna stay for a bit, maybe?"

Loki smiled. "Sure."

Mobius returned his grin and sat up, patting the spot next to him.

Loki crawled in next to him, feeling uncharacteristically giddy, albeit a bit nervous as well, his heart beating a bit too quickly.

He turned to Mobius, both of them sharing a bit of laughter over the absurdity of the situation.

Loki couldn't remember the last time he'd shared a bed with someone, and was unsure if Mobius ever had.

"Sorry if I'm not the best company, I'm pretty exhausted," Mobius said.

"It's no trouble. I'm quite tired, myself," Loki replied.

"Well. Guess we best get some rest, huh?"

"Agreed."

Mobius turned and switched off the lamp beside him, laying down and positioning himself so he was facing Loki.

"You know, you've been fussing over me all night, I feel obligated to ask—" Mobius said, his tone playful, albeit sincere. "How are you? You good?"

Loki felt the urge to respond as usual, with his typical "Oh, I'm fine," but Mobius had been so honest and vulnerable with him. It was only fair that he did the same, despite his instinctual reluctance.

"I'm, well—" Loki stuttered, "I've been— in an odd place, I suppose?"

"Yeah? How so?" Mobius asked.

"Well, when you found out your tormentor was at fault for your gory and untimely death, it makes one reexamine a lot about themselves," Loki said, trying to keep his tone light and joking, failing to hold back a nervous stutter at the end of his sentence.

"I can imagine," Mobius responded, concerned. "I feel a need to apologize for— well, the whole interrogation deal."

"Oh, please, Mobius, no apology needed," Loki said, dismissive. "You were just doing your job. And I'm fine."

"Are you?" Mobius said, returning the same sharp and prodding gaze Loki had given him earlier.

"...Maybe not," Loki murmured.

"That's okay," Mobius said. "You don't have to be. We can be 'not okay' together. How's that sound?"

Loki nodded, lest the tears in his eyes escape if he uttered a word.

"Hey," Mobius whispered, taking Loki's chilled hand. "It's like you said to me. We're alright. We're safe."

Loki nodded, squeezing his eyes shut at the onslaught of memories and emotions flooding his mind.

"Do you, would it help if I—" Mobius stuttered.

Loki looked up at him, inquisitive despite his distress.

Mobius lifted his other arm minutely, indicating his offer.

Loki nodded, moving to wrap his arms around the agent, his head tucked perfectly underneath Mobius's chin. He breathed in deeply, trying to replace the images in his mind with the agent's comforting scent.

Mobius smiled as he felt a sense of love and adoration flood through him, warm and syrupy sweet like honey. He wrapped his arms securely around the god.

"Thank you," Loki muttered, exhausted.

"Thank you," Mobius replied. "We're in this together, alright?"

Loki nodded, finding one of Mobius's hands and lacing his fingers with the agent's, giving it a gentle squeeze. "We are."

Mobius returned the affirmation, squeezing Loki's hand as he let his eyes fall closed.

"Sorry if I get your pillowcase wet," Loki said, indicating his still-wet hair.

Mobius chuckled. "Small price to pay."

Unlike Dewdrop I have SO MANY to choose from ���🤣 and I’ll share the five closest to completion.

(It’s me, so there’s NSFW stuff mixed in here 🙃)

Struggling to get this one done before Christmas- or at least before New Years! It’s that same Sylvie/reader universe- the one with the crack smut that’s oddly hot and awkwardly personal!!:

Because Sylvie’s in your living room, dressed in the same festive red sweater from the first time you saw her, greeting you warmly like you’re just old friends (you know, who’ve only actually met twice and fucked both of those times), and more importantly, like Loki isn’t watching you both with wide eyes from beneath your Christmas tree, crouched on all fours and naked except for the shiny red ribbon tied into a gift bow around his neck, reindeer antlers atop his head, and a furry little reindeer tail protruding from his ass cheeks, which you can only assume is attached to a butt plug of some sort.

That squishy Mobius tummy needs sexy worship and I don’t even care how weird I am:

It’s strange, and he knows it. He’s done stranger, sure, but it was always a novelty, the pushing of a limit, something where the thrill lay in the taboo. But this… the thrill is in the act itself, pure and simple, and it feels impossibly different.

He grinds down, experimentally, into the welcoming give of Mobius’s soft belly, and all at once he’s certain he couldn’t stop himself no matter how strange he knows it is. A shaky moan spills from his lips as he does it again, and again.

The daggers/sword love story no one asked for:

Æsileif was passed from Minuteman to analyst to Minuteman, and so on, before being settled into the hands of Judge Ravonna Renslayer, whose energy and attitude were downright repugnant to her.

This was the woman who stole Sylvie’s life from her.

This was the woman Æsileif was made to destroy.

And yet, Æsileif was useless, helpless without a hand to wield her.

She’d never felt so maddeningly, vengefully, frustrated before in her entire existence.

But then he walked in.

This Mobius, she’d seen him briefly earlier, while she was being transported through the halls.

Another mindless drone, brainwashed by the TVA to do its bidding.

But no, something was different, Æsileif realized as she listened to him speak with Renslayer. He pushed, he questioned.

And when the time came, he acted.

The Lokius angst fest with a side of extreme dubcon (no dubcon or sexual content in this snippet):

“So tell me, Loki. Why are you really here?”

“I told you, Mobius, please—”

The tears that sting his eyes when he feels the back of Mobius’s hand strike him across the face are unexpected and humiliating. It isn’t the pain, really. It’s shock, it’s loss, it’s betrayal.

“Seeing how it seems you’re feeling uncooperative, I suppose we’ll have to continue this conversation a little later. It’s been fun.”

The time cell he’s thrown into is a far, far worse memory than the one he’d been trapped in before. Loki hears the awful screeching of the Chitauri before anything else, and the last image he has to hang onto before the cell door closes is that of the eyes he’s come to know so well, now devoid of any warmth or familiarity. He sinks into a crouch on the cold rock, hugging his knees against his chest and reaching desperately for the memory of kindness in those eyes.

That’s really it for things close to being finished that I have yet to share, so I’ll throw this one in, the McSylkius AU that I really don’t expect to ever finish:

Sylvie sighed heavily, pressing her forehead to the relatively cool tile wall beside the register. The night was almost over, thankfully—just a few more minutes and she could close the place up. She closed her eyes as she leaned into the wall, silently hoping that the rest of the evening would be uneventful.

The steady, chaotic stream of customers they’d experienced that evening was far from unusual for a night like this one. They were the nearest fast food—and the latest to close—from the hotel a couple of miles away, whose grand ballroom saw many events on Fridays and Saturdays, and it was standard for their weekend nights to be filled with latecomers barreling through after a long, stuffy evening, still dressed in their formal attire, looking for a greasy, satisfying after-dinner snack or meal—and tonight was no exception. The crowds had just died down from this night’s post-gala rush, though, and Sylvie was looking forward to having a moment to eat something, herself, and to putting her feet up at home.

The sudden whoosh of cool evening air and the sound of the door opening, though, snapped her out of those thoughts immediately. Fuck. Oh well, this’ll be the last of them, she thought, straightening up and plastering her best customer service face—which, truth be told, was not that great, even when she wasn’t this exhausted—back on, and turning to face into the restaurant.

SHOWS I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND

Don't look deeper, don't wanna spoil it too much, but yeah black bisexual lead and the story is just so freaking awasome!? Also a trans character played by a trans actor (my thoughts when I watched it) it's a short post tho lol

New Amsterdam, has A LOT of representation and talks a lot about things that fucking matter, a lot of lgbtq+ characters in almost every episode (some main leads are part of the community too, but ngl the story has gone a bit down hill for me but still really great seasons) casey they did u so dirty i love u and miss u

The Dragon Prince, IF THERE WAS A SHOW I WOULD RECOMMEND STRONGER THAN YOUNG ROYALS IS THIS BEAUTY, in s3 two out of the three couples that become canon are queer (mlm and wlw) and we see one of them have a very deep kiss and there's also a non binary character who uses they/them in s3. Overall the show is AMAZING, great characters, voice actors, story, animation, music,... Just give it a shot please honestly it's so. Fucking. Good. I was in aw with this show when watching it, just like Young Royals

Teen Wolf, just rewatched it a few months ago and honestly forgot how funny it was agsndvsjbd and the queer rep isn't that much either but man there's is A LOT of bisexual energy from the main characters (mainly Stiles and Scott lmao) corey and mason my beloved

The Good Place, amazing show and talk about important things too, and yeah a lot of bi energy haha

The Owl House, main character is biracial, bisexual, bilingual and gnc, and quite possibly the most adorable character EVER, parents of one of their bffs has two dads and her mentor is also queer and she is in love with a non binary character who she dated in the past (animated me is Luz, 100% agskdvdjbd)

Yuri on Ice, the only anime I've ever seen and honestly laughed so fucking much, it's HILARIOUS and like every single character here is gay/queer lmao (also a lot of fans headcanon yuri as ace and I honestly see it)

Shows I'm listing because there is rep but the show wasn't that mind blowing for me

Bojack Horseman, mainly because of the asexual representation (cause yeah, there ain't much out there) and I just LOVE his character (full disclosure, the show is fucked up and has a lot of trigger warnings, but still has funny parts)

Gen LOCK, genderfluid character that is so freakin badass, but this show is very meta and might not be for everyone, haven't watched s2 yet tho (Cammie is also so freakin adorable and I hc her as ace lol)

Loki, genderfluid and bisexual, canon in the tv show and quite fun story line (I ship Loki and Mobius so freaking much ughhhh manifesting in s2) SPOILERS but theres an undertheme or smt that he likes his clone and huh yeah that made me uncomfortable so just sayin, those parts made me cringe so much I had to skip them, that's why I placed the show down here haha

Love, Victor, only watched s1 and heard there was a love triangle in s2 so gonna wait till s3 comes out to see if it's worth it lol but yeah, yall probably know it takes place in the Love, Simon movie universe (in the same high school too) although Victors situation is more complicated and not that accepting, he's gay and Half Colombian/Puerto Rican, and I think at the end of s2 a girl is like plainly shown to be bisexual but idk and yes im putting the hug between victor and felix here because felix is such a supporting friend and just pure sunshine and deserves the world

So basically I'll make this a serie which will go with the serie Loki. I'll try to fit the reader, that would be you lol, in the story. She is a TVA worker, Mobius' assistant to be precise and she has kinda of a thing with a certain God of Mischief.

"Y/n, don't you dare!" Mobius voice made her hesitate for a moment, then she took a deep breath and looked at him. "I'm sorry, Mob." She said and threw herself into the portal. She appeared at TVA and the first thing she saw was Ravonna coming out of another portal. She fastly ran to her and saw Loki kneeled down, the other version of him holding him down with a sword on his chest. "Come any closer and I'll kill him." She threatened her. Ravonna tilted her head. "Go for it." She said while holding the eraser. Y/n immediately stepped in front of her, a hand raised. "No fucking way." She hissed and Ravonna gasped, she didn't expect anything like that. "Y/n, move." She commanded but y/n slowly started to back off while facing her. She heard the variant laughing. "So cute, your own workers are turning against you." She mocked Ravonna and she grinned in frustration. "Enough!" She screamed and tried to hit them, but Loki promptly pressed a button on the TemPad and the three of them fell through a portal.

Y/n hit her back on the floor and moaned. She slowly stood up and noticed Loki in front of her. "Y/n, are you okay?" He asked while helping her, she nodded and hugged him. "I can't believe it, Ravonna just blindly hit us, she could have erased you." She whispered and he caressed her head. "It's okay, I'm okay." He comforted her and she nodded. In that moment, the other version of Loki opened her eyes and immediately tried to reach the TemPad. Loki grabbed her leg but she pushed him down and picked it up. Y/n tried to take it from her hands but she kicked her in her chest, sending her to the floor. "Goodbye, love birds." She enthusiastically said and pressed a button. Nothing happened, the TemPad just emitted a noise. "It's not working." She frustratedly said and y/n stood up. "It's out of battery." She said while massaging her chest. Loki puffed and the girl tried to hit him again, but he disappeared in a green mist and reappeared behind her. He grabbed the TemPad and made it disappear. "Give it back to me, you don't even know how to recharge it." The girl grinned and Loki smiled. "Of course I do, I mean, she does." He said and tilted his head toward y/n. She was distracted, she was looking outside the windows.

"You're just a magician." The variant venomously said and Loki smiled while two knives appeared in his hands. "For my next trick, I'll make you disappear." He said and the girl laughed. "Try it!" She invited him but y/n walked to them and positioned herself between them. "For as much as I love this funny little diatribe between two versions of the same person, I need you to cooperate now. We are on Lamentis." She said and looked at the girl, quite aware of the fact that she probably knew how much of a disaster that was. She opened her mouth and gasped. "You're kidding, right?" She asked, but in that precise moment a fragment of something fell from the sky, destroyed a part of the roof the roof and almost hit them. She looked at the variant. "I'm not." She said and the girl grinned in frustration. Loki took her hand to draw her attention. "Is this so bad?" He asked and y/n turned to look at him. "Loki, not to be fussy or something, but you couldn't have chosen a worst apocalypse." She said and Loki frowned. "Why is that so?" He asked. The variant walked to them, her eyes filled with frustration and her tone aggressive when she spoke. "Because no one survives in this."

"I can't believe she fell asleep." Sylvie said and looked at y/n, her arms crossed on the table and her head peacefully resting on them. She was sleeping next to Loki, his hand on her waist. He looked at her and smiled. "She needed rest." He simply said and caressed her waist. Sylvie rolled her eyes and looked outside: the train was moving fastly, but probably not enough. The planet was about to be crushed in a couple of hours. "I couldn't sleep in a place where I'm surrounded by untrustworthy people. Stupid humans and their silly necessities." She said and Loki laughed while staring at her. "You're so cynical." He said and immediately realized that he actually was to, most of the time. The girl shook her head. "Better than being a lover boy." She mocked him and he tensed up. "I'm not a lover boy, I just... I care about her." He said and his eyes automatically glanced at y/n. Sylvie chuckled. "Disgusting, but surprising." She said and Loki frowned. "Why?" He asked, Sylvie rested her back against the seat. "Because she's a human and you don't seem the type who fancies Midgardians." She questioned and he shrugged. "I don't, but she is..." He tried to say but Sylvie interrupted him. "Let me guess, special?" She joked and Loki tilted his head, his hand moving a lock of y/n's hair from her face. She was resting peacefully. "She understands me, that's all." He said and realized how much that was true. He had never felt fully understood by anyone, fully loved? Maybe, by his mother. But understood? No.

Sylvie shrugged. "Then you're screwed," She simply said and Loki raised an eyebrow. She laughed. "You don't understand, don't you? You will fall for her, she will probably fall for you, then you'll have to let her go, because she's a human. She will get old, she is vulnerable, she could be a target for your enemies. You will only endanger her or condemn her to a life spent with someone who doesn't age." She said and Loki gasped. That was true, that was infinitely true. He had not thought about that aspect, but it was actually a very important matter. She really was in danger next to him and he probably could not protect her from everything. He took a breath and stared at Sylvie. "I hate this."

He whispered and she smiled. "Love is hate." She said and he shook her head, his eyes travelling from her to y/n. "Not quite." He said, his hand caressing her back, he could perceive her regular breath. Sylvie frowned. "Then what's love for you?" She asked and Loki looked at her, a couple of wrinkles forming on his forehead. He was thinking. "I'll tell you, I just need another drink." He said and Sylvie rolled her eyes. "For what? Oh, right, to forget the fact that you're condemning this poor girl to a life of torment? Cool, or you could rest," She said and Loki rolled his eyes. She went on. "We're about to hijack this population's only source of hope, it won't be easy." She concluded and crossed her arms over her chest. Loki stared at y/n, his heart feeling heavy, then he winked at Sylvie. "You relax your way, I'll relax mine." He said and gave y/n a quick kiss on her head before standing up and walking toward the drinks. Sylvie shook her head, he was a douchebag.

Y/n slowly opened her eyes, her ears filled with cheerful voices. She raised her head and saw Sylvie sleeping, she looked relaxed. She gently tapped her arm and the girl suddenly gasped, her hand travelling to the hilt of her sword. "Hey, it's me." She whispered and Sylvie calmed down. "Where is Loki?" She asked looking around. Y/n suddenly heard his voice. She turned and looked at him, he was standing between the people, clapping and smiling at them while he was... singing? Sylvie widened her eyes. "Has he gone crazy?" She asked but y/n didn't answer, she was totally captivated. He was singing in Asgardian, his eyes stuck into y/n's and his voice sending shivers down her neck. Everyone went quite and listened to him, his soft notes echoing in the air. He stared at y/n and walked toward her while singing, his hand reaching for her. She took it and he pulled her toward him, his hand on her waist while he made her twirl. His singing suddenly turned into a happy song, the people around started to move again, as I he had unlocked them. Y/n laughed when he finished his song and he kissed her quickly, his lips tasting like alcohol. She shook her head when he left her and turned her head to Sylvie. "He's drunk." She mouthed and the girl rolled her eyes and stood up to walk to them. Loki caressed y/n's cheek. "I've never seen eyes like yours." He whispered, his fingers moving her hair away from her eyes.

She smiled but couldn't answer because Sylvie interrupted them. "Enough with the celebrations." She said and y/n nodded while Sylvie scolded him about the fact that he was not focusing on the mission at all. Loki was in a good mood though, he smiled joyfully. "I've thought about it." He said and his eyes travelled from y/n to Sylvie. She rolled her eyes. "About what?" She asked and y/n raised an eyebrow, not understanding what he was talking about. "Love is a dagger," He suddenly said and a dagger appeared in his hand. Sylvie looked at it. "It's a weapon to be wielded far away or up close," He said, his hand squeezing the dagger. "You can see yourself in it," he said and put the dagger down. Y/n stared at it and saw hers reflection, then he looked at Loki , he was staring at her. "Beautiful." He said and y/n blushed a bit. "Why are we talking about love?" Y/n asked and Sylvie puffed. "I made the mistake of asking him what is love for him." She complained while looking around, she was concerned. Loki went on. "It's beautiful, yes, but only until it makes you bleed," He said and turned the tip of the blade against y/n's chest. She didn't even flinch but she noticed the deepest sadness in his eyes. Sylvie nodded looking at Loki and noticed how torn he was, he really cared about that girl. Loki turned the blade against himself and took a breath. "But ultimately, when you reach for it..." He said and Sylvie tried to grab the hilt. The dagger disappeared and she reopened her hand. "It isn't real." Sylvie concluded and Loki exhaled.

Y/n shook her head. "Maybe it's real, but people hide it, because it's easier than facing it." She said and touched his chest. Loki softly smiled at her, his instinct desperately suggesting him to hug her but his head forcing him to think straight and starting to push her away, for her own safety. Sylvie looked at them. "I'll go check around, I have like the feeling that something is off." She said and walked away from them. Loki looked at her. "What's love for you?" He asked, his hand taking hers. She shrugged. "Well, I've never been in love, but I suppose it is timing." She admitted, her thumb caressing the back of his hand. He raised his eyebrows. "Timing?" He asked, he was curious. She nodded. "I've seen people falling in love for the right person at the wrong time and nothing good ever came from those situations," she said and raised her hand while still holding his, her palm against his but slightly lower. She tried to entwine their fingers but she didn't manage. "But if time is kind to you and you find your person at the right moment, then everything fits perfectly." She concluded while positioning her hand in the right position. Their fingers tangled this time and their hands perfectly fitted. She looked at him and he looked at her at the same time. He smiled, his heart filled with chaos and fear, but also the deepest desire to be with her. "This makes sense for someone who works to keep the time safe." He said and looked at her with tenderness.

She chuckled, her hand lowering while still holding is. "You're all right." She said and he caressed her cheek, his touch so soft she could barely perceive it. He was almost scare to break her, like she was made of porcelain. He wanted her, so much that it surprised him, like he had never wanted anything else before, but he knew that things were too complicated. He sighed and lowered his hand, his eyes staring at his feet. Before she could say anything else, both of the door opened and four guards came out from them, followed by a man. Sylvie reappeared next to them. "Splendid, we're in troubles." She whispered and y/n rolled her eyes. "Stay cool." She said and felt Loki's hand pushing her behind her body, his face suddenly serious. He smiled at them both. "Don't worry, I have everything under control.".

"Well, things got out of your control, apparently." Y/n said to him while looking at Sylvie, she was sitting down, her hands running through her hair and her face a mask of frustration. Loki put his hands on his hips. "Oh come one, that scream was a bit too much." He said and looked at Sylvie. Y/n shook her head. "She's nervous and scared, go talk to her." She said while pushing him to her. Loki put a hand on her shoulder. "I'll go but, are you okay?" He asked. She sighed: Sylvie had just told them that every worker of the TVA was probably born somewhere else, had probably lived a normal life before of the currently one they had at the TVA. She had a family maybe, friends, a dog or a cat, who knew? Was her whole reality a lie? She shook her head. "I'm fine, we'll think about this later, there's no proof I'm a variant too but even if this is true, what can I do about it now? I don't even know who I am at this point." She said and looked down. He put a finger under her chin and made her raise her head, their eyes met. "You are clever, and you have a beautiful brain," he said caressing her head. "You are stubborn and patient, and you know how to listen, you know how to make people feel comfortable, even though someone can be hard to comprehend," he said and winked, she chuckled. "You are skilled, you know how to take care of yourself, and you are loyal. You are gorgeous, seriously, I've never laid my eyes on a woman as beautiful as you are," he said and she blushed while biting her lower lip, her eyes getting watery. "But mostly, you are kind, with this big big heart of yours," He concluded and his hand travelled on her chest. He pressed it there, on her heartbeat and she held her breath, a tear running down her cheek. "It doesn't matter where you are from of what kind of life you had before, you get to decide what is about to come and you get to decide who you want to be." He said, his long fingers wiping away her tears.

She smiled, her eyes stuck in his. "Loki Laufeyson, you'll be the death of me." She said and he thought about Sylvie's words, about the fact that he was no good for her. He decided to avoid making her even more upset and simple smiled, a tender smile, before kissing her. He couldn't stop himself, he wanted to kiss her so much, no matter how much his head told him to stop that nonsense and let her go. Her lips were soft and warm, she softly kissed him back and smiled, her forehead against his. "Thank you." She whispered on his lips, he shrugged. "Just a reminder." He said and she laughed while she caressed the back of his neck. "Go now." She invited him and he raised his hand in surrender and walked to Sylvie.

"Did the scream make you feel better?" He asked sitting next to her, y/n shook her head at that very bad approach and picked up the TemPad, trying to understand if she could maybe save it. Sylvie took a breath. "It did. If it wasn't for the fact that y/n is lovely and doesn't deserve to suffer I would beat the shit out of you right now." She said and Loki couldn't help but chuckle. Sylvie rolled her eyes at him. "We'll find a way." He said and Sylvie shook her head. In that moment, y/n walked to them. "The TemPad is dead, but I might have an idea." She said and they both looked at her as to invite her to go on. Sylvie massaged her head. "I have the unpleasant feeling that I'm not going to like it." She said and y/n nodded. "Because you're not. We have to reach that ship and make it sail." She said and they both stood up, their faces confused. Loki frowned. "But that ship is not supposed to sail, it gets destroyed before." He said and y/n shrugged, a smirk appearing on her face. "Well, it never had the two of you on board.".

The city was in the purest chaos. People were running everywhere, their screams filling the air and the sound of the fragments crushing on the ground making everything so messy that it was impossible to think straight. Sylvie and y/n were running next to Loki, desperately trying to reach the ship. A guard suddenly grabbed Sylvie's hair and pulled her, she turned and tried to kick him but the man moved aside. Y/n punched him in his face and pulled Sylvie away while Loki used his powers to stop an entire building from falling on them. "Thank you." Sylvie thanked y/n and she nodded while dodging a punch from another guard. Loki stabbed him in his arm and took y/n's hand to run away. Sylvie lowered to avoid being crushed by a fragment and looked at Loki. "We need to move!" She screamed, her voice barely audible because of the loud noises. Loki nodded and ran toward the ship, making sure that both of the girls were next to him. Y/n suddenly realized that a fragment was about to fall in them. "Careful!" She shouted and pushed the both of them aside.

The three of them fell on the ground and moaned in pain while the fragment crushed next to them with a thud. "If we survive this, I'll kill you and run on tropical island with her to be with her for the rest of my life." Sylvie said while looking at Loki and standing up, her hand reaching her hand to help y/n. "I'm flattered." Y/n said while standing up and nodding to thank her. Loki stood up and looked at Sylvie. "Hey, she's mine". He immediately said but curved his lips into a smile. Y/n chuckled and started to run again. They did their best to dodge the fragments, avoid the guards and run as fast as possible, but the chaos all around was making everything complicated. Loki stopped and pulled the girls behind a wall because a group of guards were passing by. He looked at y/n. "If we survive this, I'll be the one who runs away with you." He whispered and immediately realized how egoistical that was. He couldn't have a normal life, he was a variant and he had so many enemies who wouldn't have had no problems at all in hurting her to break him. She laughed and her laugh made his heart skip a beat. They started to run again and managed to arrive just under the ship. "Here we..." Loki started to say but in that precise moment the ship was crushed by a gigantic fragment. "Are..." Loki concluded, his voice a whisper. Sylvie grinned in frustration, her hands thrown to the sky. Y/n covered her mouth with her hands and widened her eyes. Loki looked at her. "Y/n..." He whispered and hugged her. She held him, her face pressed against his chest. He squeezed her shirt while bidding his face in the crook of her neck. "We're about to die." She whispered, her arms tightening around his torso. He felt his stomach twisting and held her close.

LOKIUS HEADCANON-

Our Loki is stuck in an alternate TVA. That's what I'm going with. What if at our TVA, our Mobius has the alternate TVA's Loki? I confused myself writing this.

What if in the alternate TVA, the reason why Mobius doesn't know who Loki is is because whoever the fuck's in charge (maybe a Kang variant) erased all the Lokis in that timeline cuz they knew that Loki would be their... downfall? I’m not sure. Maybe the main Loki in the alternate TVA became an analyst after they were taken to the TVA. Mobius may not know them cuz like- he’s top authority? I don’t know the hierarchy.

And within the time that our Loki spends in the alternate TVA, they somehow win the heart of Mobius. Because of course they do. Every Mobius has a Loki. And every Loki has a Mobius.

Then at our TVA, after the season finale, Mobius runs to who he thinks is “his Loki” in the archives. He gets so confused when Loki pushes him away, he gets confused as to why this Loki looked so bewildered when Mobius hugged them. Then Loki says, “Agent Mobius? What was that for?” Then Mobius, who almost broke down because he thought he’ll never see Loki again, stares at Loki but then he realizes that this isn’t his Loki, he finally breaks because this was worse than what Mobius was thinking. And this Loki just stands there not knowing how to comfort this Mobius.

Then imagine when the other Mobius kinda starts to believe that Loki is from another dimension, our Loki starts referring to our Mobius as “My Mobius” when they tell the alternate Mobius abt what they do or did together. I mean- maybe Mobius might not believe Loki but-- eh.

THEN WHAT IF IN THE ALTERNATE TVA LOKI HAS A CRUSH ON MOBIUS THAT’S WHY THEY WERE SHOCKED WHEN OUR MOBIUS HUGGED THEM AT OUR TVA THEN MOBIUS IN THE ALTERNATE TVA’S FALLING IN LOVE WITH OUR LOKI AND HE’S JUST OBLIVIOUS AND HE’S FCKING JEALOUS OF HIMSELF.

If you had told me yesterday that I wouldn't care about the Loki show anymore, I wouldn't have believed you. Yet here we are. I had maintained hope that we were heading into some AoA style confrontation between Loki and some other Loki. I actually thought the things they brought up during the interrogation scene would be addressed.

I thought Loki was supposed to seize the narrative and prove the timekeepers and every other person wrong. Instead, Loki is the POV character and Sylvie is the protagonist. I thought "this story isn't about you" was something to refute, not the show's mission statement. Hugs to the Loki fandom, I think we really need it today 2/2 (sorry I keep forgetting those things)

The first episode wrote a check the rest couldn't deliver (and even the first episode was tepid at best). But wait, I have to give the whole show a go, right? Wait til everything is out to make my final judgement, right? That's what everyone's been saying!

Never in a million years did I think the show would be this bad. Joke's on me for expecting a Loki show to be about Loki and not some OCs who constantly beat him up and tell him how pathetic and worthless he is. And you know, I could even deal with that since that's what canon has been doing it to him all along, but until ragnarok (and IW to a lesser extent), the narrative wasn't on those character's sides. We still got to see Loki being badass and competent, even if he did eventually lose.

I thought "this story isn't about you" was something to refute, not the show's mission statement.

SAME, ANON, SAME!

This is supposed to be his show, yet Sylvie is the only one who drives the narrative forward. What the fuck has Loki done? Got Mobius on his side, who was immediately zapped? (And let's be real, more narrative weight was given to Mobius being suspicious about C-20 than Loki actually having anything to do with changing Mobius' mind. He just confirmed what Mobius was already suspecting.) Got himself killed again (as far as he was aware at the time)? Give me a fucking break. If they really had to do the fucking TVA narrative, why wasn't it about Loki in Sylvie's position? Why not have him escape, fight the TVA, work to bring them down, discover the TVA were all made up of variants?

Like fuck, imagine the narrative tension of Loki figuring out those people he has been fighting and killing were nothing but brainwashed slaves and the whole plot is so much bigger than even an organization that controls all of time? And not some reveal handed to us in dialogue about some people I, at least, don't give a fiddly fuck for.

And let's be clear, I don't give a fuck what people ship or don't. Sylvie/Loki, Loki/Mobius, Loki/whoever, I don't care.

But if they're really going for the selfcest, maybe don't speedrun it and present it as Loki being some fucking narcissist loser who only ever loved himself. Which, you know, was the actual framing the show put out. I know people are reinterpreting it as "Loki loving himself is literally breaking the timeline", but that feels so unearned and out of left field. It's just lazy, bad writing. Saw ep 4 earlier today and I have some thoughts:

Not to be looking at this with shipper glasses but I did not see any “chemistry” between Loki and Sylvie, at all.

What I did see on Lamentis and later in front of the TimeKeepers and was Loki attempting to comfort Sylvie and also maybe tell her that he believed in her. That she could be who and what she wanted to be

Sylvie’s nexus event was I’m betting her wanting to be a Valkyrie—someone who saves people. Someone who could be a hero. And I can’t see the timekeepers being in favor of a Loki who was a hero. They wouldn’t get a Loki that people are made better by in the same way.

Like think about it. The Avengers came together to defeat loki. Thor grew past what he had been with Loki as both foil and mirror. But in both of these cases Loki is used as a foil. Something the Avengers negatively fought against. And Thor for all he loves Loki still viewed him through the lens of occasional antagonist.

A Loki who grew up knowing they want to protect their people… that might have been too much for the TimeKeepers.

So no I’m not on the Loki/Sylvie train, but I am on the boat of them being disaster siblings and I really want them to go find the Thor after the events of Endgame and take him on wacky space time adventures. Please and thank

Like yeah the angst of him being a bastard to Loki for half the episode was a lot. But I mean he was jealous as fuck. It’s obvious he has feelings for Loki and his reaction to Sylvie and Loki’s admiration for her was *chefs 💋 *. He just decided that Loki was into Sylvie romantically without really listening to Loki like at all.

Detective Mobius was a mood. Him finding out what happened to C-20 made me want to see him and Loki in a noir detective story.

Ravonna we knew you were shady but that was cold as hell what you did to Mobius.

Hunter B-15 is the MVP of the episode. Love her so much.

I’m not gonna lie, even though I knew it was coming I gasped when our boys got got.

Sylvie is going to be burning down the TVA next episode with B-15 and I’m here for it.

I’m late to the party today, I was so busy getting things done in time for my birthday which started 43 minutes ago in the UK, haha, that I didn’t have the time to make a post right after I watched the new episode but let me tell you I SCREAMED! I’m watching it again right now so here we go!

First of all, theory confirmed, the place pruned things and beings go is kind of like a landfill.

Kid Loki? Killed? Thor? What? The? Fuck?! :o

Loki losing his shit and screaming and yelling, um yes PLEASE. I mean, I get it, those bird things are really weird, hahaha.

Also did you see Sylvie’s face when Ravonna said no one returns from the void? Bless!

PRESIDENT LOKI PRESIDENT LOKI PRESIDENT LOKI I REPEAT PRESIDENT LOKI OMFG HE WAS SO HOT?! AND SO DARK?! AND SO EVIL?! AND AHHHH I JUST LOVE IT WHEN TOM DOES HIS “DARK” LOKI VOICE, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?!

I loved how our Loki just kept shaking his head OMFG I just—it’s too good!

Needless to say, my eyes competed with the size of plates when Croki bit his hand off?! Captain Loki Hook?! OMFG. Honestly, I never heard Tom scream like that and I didn’t know I needed that, hahaha!

And it’s canon now that Loki can create portals/teleport without Infinity Stones they FINALLY CONFIRMED IT!

By the way, Miss Minutes is kind of adorable in this one!

Now can we talk about this really powerful moment where Loki called the other Variants “monsters”? I mean, I love how him meeting all these Variants just reflects how much Loki has changed for the better and how he has grown and him calling his other Variants “monsters” is so painful and intense, I can’t even explain it.

By the way, did you see the tiny Thor trapped in a jar right under Mjölnir? CLASSIC.

Also Richard E. Grant’s Loki mocked the hell out of Loki’s “death” scene in Infinity War and I FREAKING LOVE THE WRITING. IN YOUR FACE I ALWAYS TOLD YOU LOKI IS TOO FREAKING SMART FOR A BUTTERKNIFE.

Sylvie pruning herself to find Loki, DAMN YES. Mobius showing up in a pizza delivery car? DAMN YES.

AND THEN I STARTED CRYING BECAUSE THEY HUGGED, OMG, LOKI DESERVED A HUG SO MUCH AND HE CALLED HIM HIS FRIEND AND THIS IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT AND POWERFUL MOMENT AND IT MEANT SO MUCH I WAS CRYING WHEN I TELL YOU C R Y I N G!!!

And please, Loki conjuring up a blanket (or a table cloth, LOL) HOW CUTE WAS THAT MOMENT?! Hear me out though… Loki is a Frost Giant. How can he freeze?! Hahahaha! Whatever is going to happen between Loki and Sylvie, they definitely have a strong connection, whether it’s romantic or not. And what was that? “Maybe we can figure it out”? Does that mean Sylvie become his “companion”, equal companion, mind you, and they’ll stay together?! Loki deserves someone by his side so much even though I didn’t expect that to happen at first and now I’m scared that something will happen to Sylvie!

“I know what I did. And I know why I did. And that’s not who I am anymore.” LOKI MY HUSBAND I AM SO PROUD OF YOU AND YOU ARE OKAY AND YOU DID NOTHING WRONG AND WE LOVE YOU.

And he decided to stay with her! “You go, I go!” SOBBING.

And Loki can do enchantment now?! DAMN YES. And did you see his BURNING SWORD?! FUCK YES.

And the illusion of Asgard?! THAT’S OUR POWERFUL BABY RIGHT THERE AHHHHH!

I don’t know if I’m ready for the season finale next week. I don’t think I am. I want to know what will happen so bad but I also don’t want it to end and AHHHHHHH. Too many feelings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And last but not least: I loved the music in this episode so much! Best version yet!

Not Your Loki (pt4)

Pairing: Loki x female reader

Summary: After what feels like a million years of jumping through timelines, you finally think you found the one with your Loki. Unfortunately the Loki you find isn't yours and has been heartbroken and defeated by another. Do you still help him?

“Well if we go here and jump from this point here we’ll -” you flip through pages of the planets you’ve visited to a darker planet on the outskirts of the solar system “- it’ll bring us here, but if we skip this point -” you say pointing at another map of a planet ran by vampires “- we’ll just end up back on the Void.” You lean back in your chair and sigh “Finding the jumping off point is always the hardest, but once we get going we’ll be able to make our way through the timeline without to many issues.” You smile at Loki trying to instill some confidence in his decision to join you. He looks at you skeptically “You don’t know what you’re doing do you?” You narrow your eyes at him “Just because I don’t use the big fancy words that Tony does, doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m talking about.” “That’s precisely what that means though - “ he starts. Oh shit, footsteps. You grab his arm and put up a finger to signal to him that he needs to be quiet. You both hear the footsteps round the corner and a voice say “I could have swore I heard voices when I came by earlier but I don’t see any names on the schedule for this room”. The door opens and you see two guards looking around at the room. Loki starts to speak but you shake your head for once in your life please don’t talk. He looks at you, your eyes locked on the guards, and notices the flicker of green in your eyes. “There’s no one in here G-42, you must be hearing things.” “I swear I heard a -”, “Yeah yeah yeah, you just need a break from the last mission that’s all” and the door closes again. You let out the breath you’ve been holding in. “How did you do that?” You think about how to answer. “I didn’t make us invisible if that’s what you’re wondering, I just made a barrier that blocked us from their sight. That’s the best way I can explain it anyway.” You start to gather your notes and maps, “I think we better get to my safe house, we’ll have less visitors there.” “There’s other places you can go outside of the TVA?” Loki looks at you puzzled. “Oh no, it’s a pocket dimension I found. Is there anything you need to get before we leave?” He pauses, and thinks about Mobius for a moment “Can I say goodbye to Mobius? I know he doesn’t remember me I just ... need to say bye.” You look into his eyes and see that he’s being genuine “Are you sure you want to do this? If it helps you should know that he’s not technically ‘your Mobius’ he’s another variant”. He looks down at the table, thinking for a moment. “I promise I’m not trying to deter you, I’m just trying to be realistic with you. If you truly want to do this I’m sure he’s in his office down the hall.” He nods “I’ll be quick”. 

The two of you try to act as casual as possible as you walk down the hall, avoiding eye contact with anyone you pass. Being here over a thousand times you know exactly where Mobius is at this time of day. You stop a few feet from the open doorway and whisper “He doesn’t know you but I can’t say whether or not he’ll recognize me, so I’ll just wait here and keep watch”. Loki nods, stands up straight, and tries to brush is hands through his hair a bit. You shake your head at him, smiling. “Oh shut up” he whispers at you and hurries off. You see him materialize a stack of folders, and go into the office. 

*Knock, knock* Mobius looks up from his afternoon snack to see a tall, dark headed man in the doorway. “Oh hey there, what can I do for ya?” he asks happily. Loki quickly says “Sorry to bother you, I just got lost. I thought this was the way to the cafeteria” “Ha nope sorry, it’s down the hall, take a right, another right, then a left and you can’t miss the sign.” Mobius says smiling still. “Um thank you ... bye then” Loki stammers and walks back out. 

As Loki walks into the office, you start looking around for any other offices for a spare tempad. I’ll need one for Loki, and mine is almost dead anyway. You look across the hall into an open office. You poke your head in the office and see a box of tempads. JACKPOT. You take four for good measure but then you see the nameplate on the desk. Renslayer. Well fuck me I guess. You turn around and are eye to eye with the judge. She glares at you. You smile back “Hello Ramona”. “Who are you and why are you in my office?” she says still glaring. “Just picking up some extra tempads for my next mission” you says as you start backing out of the doorway. “Wait -” you hear her say and you close the door. You snap your fingers and lock the door. Ohshitohshitohsitohshit you think as you walk quickly down the hall back just as Loki is coming out of Mobius’s office. “I fucked up we need to go” you say grinning in panic. “I was gone for three minutes -” Loki says as you’re quickly putting in the coordinates of your safe house. The familiar orange portal opens and you pull him through before he can finish. 

You both land in a open field surrounded by tall trees and other various fauna. You look around huh I’m pretty close this time, I guess I am getting better at this. Loki sits up and says “Why did we fall and not just walk out like all the other portals I’ve been though?” You laugh “Um ... would you believe me if I said I didn’t think we’d fall out?” He starts to say something else but you interrupt by pointing over his shoulder at your cabin across the field. “Welcome to my home!” 

He turns to see a small cabin made out of dark wood, with bright purple shutters (“I like to be different” you explain), a large herb garden that has grown out of hand (”I’ve been busy, geez.”), and a porch with a porch swing overlooking the rest of the field. You hold out your hand to help him up and he takes it. As his hand grasps yours you feel a spark of the seidr well that’s new but don’t say anything.  As the two of you make your way to the cabin, Loki asks "Do you even having running water here?" You turn to look at him and wave your hands at him creating green sparks between your fingers. "Anything is possible with magic my darling".

You unlock your door and snap your fingers to light the fireplace and turn on a lamp. Loki looks around at the cozy room. Your patchwork couch of all colors and patterns sits before the small fireplace catches his eye, the far side of the room has a large painting of the field outside that you painted during the time you first found this place, the coffee table has an open book of poetry with a pressed flower from your garden in it, and he smiles at the large green bookshelf you'd made for your ever growing book collection. "As far as I'm concerned, my home is your home. The guest room is down the hall to the right and bathroom is the room across from it. I don't know if you have back problems like my Loki, but there's large bath in there that you're welcome to use." You wave your hand and a small jar of purple bath salts appear. "Here, put this in the bath water as the tub is filling up. It'll help the pain." He looks at you, unsure how to respond to the kindness "Um, thank you". "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me" you say as you walk away. Loki makes his way to the bathroom and notices your gallery wall of pictures and weapons you've collected. In the first picture he sees you with Tony and Bruce in the lab on your first day working with them, the next picture shows you and Bucky arm wrestling with the team gathered around cheering you on, the next picture shows you and Nat dressed up for one of Tony's many parties, "So y/n does know how to dress" he says to himself. He continues looking over the pictures. He sees one with you and Thor, both of you are smiling but the grief on your faces is clear that this was taken some time after Loki's death. "He did mourn you, you know. He loves you in his own way." he hears you say from the kitchen. "Can you stop doing that? It's like you know what I'm thinking" he says. He hears you laugh "Can't, I'm your wife."

The next set of pictures showed you holding Morgan at her second birthday as she hugs you tight, you with Clint as he shows you how to use a bow in the training area, and one big group picture of the whole team. You stand in the front with Clint, Nat, and Tony while the rest of the team stands behind the four of you, all smiles. The last picture he sees is one that someone had taken of Thor and the rest of the Asgardians in new Asgard, but in the far back he can see you on the hill next to marker.

That's all for part 4! This was going to be a bit longer but it's almost 1 here so I need to get to bed so I can be a functional adult tomorrow.

I.... I didn't like this episode... And I'm not actually liking the whole series as I wanted to do....

This stupid forced romance is making me hate It and no, it's not because I ship Lokius, it's not about ships, it's about bad writing, forced relationship and no sense romance.

Loki's and Sylvie's relationship changed too fast in the worst episode in the show (the third) and It has no freaking sense. That episode felt like a filler and so did their relationship. They went from "I don't know who you are and I don't trust you" to "Ok I trust you, you're amazing, oh my gosh I love you" in literally 2 scenes. I mean, what the fuck was that?

ALSO.

Loki, my dear boy... after watching THE ONLY PERSON WHO ACTUALLY BELIEVED IN YOU being KILLED in front of your eyes, you don't care about finding him the moment you realize he can be alive? You don't care about how he feels when you see each other again? After he found out everything he know, his whole life, Is a big ass lie? And after BEING KILLED BY HIS SO CALLED FRIEND?

And you said the only person you trust Is SYLVIE??? You only wanted to escape because of her? You really wanted to do something only because you saw HER being different? REALLY, LOKI? NOT MOBIUS? REALLY, MARVEL? THE FUCK WAS THAT?

I hated how careless Loki seems to be about Mobius in this ep... and for what? Because he has to flirt with Sylvie? Seriously? The other two Loki variants, who are strangers for Mobius, were the ones who asked him how he was feeling after everything. TWO STRANGERS. Two literal strangers worried about him more then his FRIEND.

Even Sylvie told Loki that Mobius really care about him and Loki DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. Didn't went like "Yeah you're right, mybe I should go to him and see if he's ok". NO.

This Is why I'm saying the writing Is bad. The Loki we saw in episode two and four would never leave Mobius alone and would actually ask him how he's doing. But noooooo we need the Disney Channel teenager couple.

At least we had a hug started by Loki, one of the few in character scene in this episode.

Again, I don't care if Lokius isn't canon, I would love to see Loki, Mobius and Sylvie just as a chaotic trio, they would be great just like that, I don't really expect the ship to be canon, but this? This Is just wrong, Sylvie and Loki? No. This bad writing? Absolutely not.

Please, Marvel. No.

You did a relally good job writing Wanda and Vision and Sam and Bucky, please, don't turn this series' relationships to trash.

Liv,,, the Loki finale,,, a tragedy. I want to hear all of your rants about it and also fuck d*sney

hello sweetie it’s been almost 48 hours and i’m still in shock and disbelief that the finale was that messy but i’ll try my best!

first of all, kang was the highlight of the episode. yes, his chat was long and complicated but jonathan majors was very very good and i cannot wait to see more of him in the mcu!

second, loki himself was incredible as always, sylvie was incredible, mobius was incredible & hunter b-15 was incredible. i have qualms about how messy it all was in the end with ravonna and wtf she been off doing (why were the minute men in ohio finding her on earth? there was no real conclusion to that, no real ending to her storyline and hunter b-15’s self realisation and rebellion which annoyed me to no end) and the ending was a dumpster fire cluster fuck. all three of the shows have been so ambitious with their plotting in the first 3/4 of the series and then the finales are just trying to wrap up so many things that nothing gets the justice it deserves and they need to Stop That Right Now because they just fall FLAT and disappoint

but the k!ss...... literally ruined the whole thing for me. loki as a character went through so much growth in a six episode series and i couldn’t be prouder of the way he changed and learned to believe in himself and that he was worthy of happiness. it’s truly some of the best work we’ve seen with loki in the entire mcu in my opinion.

miss minutes offered him a place in the timeline where he kills thanos and rules asgard and the loki in episode one would have jumped at that opportunity quicker than anything. episode six loki shed a few tears and remembered that he was worth more than that. that the cause was worth more than that, that people other than himself were worth saving and rescuing from the tva.

is that not the most incredible growth for loki? is that not the best growth we have seen alongside his growth in ragnarok? his main reasoning for not killing kang was to be able to help others and for sylvie to be okay. the fact the writers turned all of the growth he had made due to meeting sylvie on its head and had them kiss will always be disgusting to me.

they set the series up so well for loki to discover self love and worth through meeting sylvie, especially in that he said he just wanted sylvie to be okay in episode six — to me it will always still stand that loki learned to love himself and believe in his own worth through discovering he cared about sylvie in a non romantic way and that it changed him as a person. seeing a storyline of loki learning to love himself after a decade in the mcu of being made to be so inferior to everyone else by the people around him would have been the biggest love letter to loki and to loki’s fans, and tom.

it’s just so unfair and sad that they went down the route that they did. loki and sylvie had such a good relationship, something i saw parallel loki and thor’s relationship in the last ten years, and after loki was taken from the timeline and never allowed to see thor ever again, something good and stable and healthy loki could have had in his life from then onward.

but noooooo they had to make it romantic. they had to make things weird and they had to throw away a relationship they’d built so nicely with loki and mobius, too. people keep claiming that it wasn’t a romantic kiss and that sylvie was doing it to manipulate him and hit him where it hurts but as i re-emphasise again... there are literally thousands of other ways she could have done that. she could have hugged him. she could have just straight up pushed him. she could’ve pulled a hans of the southern isles and cupped his face and THEN pushed him. there literally had to be no romance involved. it was a choice made directly by marvel to engage in a selfcest relationship. there’s no ambiguity about it.

it also irritated me that people were saying it was typical for loki to fall for himself. we’re seeing a loki in this series like we’ve never seen before. he is so afraid of being alone and very clearly hates himself so much that to me, i don’t think he’d ever fall for himself. yes, he’s narcissistic, but he’s acknowledged that it’s only covering his absolute fear of being alone. i don’t think in any given circumstance would loki fall for himself because he loves himself. loki doesn’t love himself, which is one of the tragedies that this series focused on and created a beautiful journey with.

by meeting sylvie and learning that he cares about her and that she cares about him and believes that she deserved her own happy ending made him realise that he also deserves that, too. that’s the greatest love story that marvel should have written in this series after all the shit loki has been through. having him loving sylvie because she replicates his own self love and wanting her to be okay and have a happy ending is the way it should’ve gone. they are the same person, variations of the same person. her name is literally sylvie laufeydottir. they’re practically siblings. musical composer for the show natalie holt has said and i quote that loki looks at sylvie like he looks at his mother. ?!!!??!!!!!!??!??!? they’re family and it’s so so fucking weird for them to be romantic. it just ruined all of the work and excellence they provided in the first five and a half episodes and it pissed me off so bad. marvel have the uncontrollable need to pair every m/f that speak to each other for more than five minutes (st*ggy), even if they have no chemistry (bruc*nat, st*ron), EVEN IF THEY ARE RELATED OR THE SAME PERSON but won’t touch same sex relationships with a barge pole. funny, that

i just wanted the finale to solidify all of this — loki finally learning to love himself and discover that he has self worth and cares for others after his journey through the mcu being one of pure pain and suffering. i just wanted it to make sense and set up something with a tiny bit of coherence but i left the series more confused than i have ever been and just angry and betrayed really.

obviously i will watch season two and can only hope that things are fixed (wtf is going on with ravonna, hunter b-15, where is kid loki and allokigator, was the k!ss truly romantic, will they denounce all the selfcest etc. etc.) and don’t even get me started on the ending with mobius... not a jet ski in sight just fucking suffering. like twelve of my mutuals predicted he’d have his memories wiped yet it wasn’t any less painful when i saw it happen. justice for wowki, the actual only good and coherent and healthy relationship to come out of this series </3

also can someone PLEASE tell me if they saw casey anywhere cause eugene cordero was credited but i never saw my boy ONCE! he deserved BETTER!!!!

Posting this here so no one floods my rp account w/ stupid shit. This post aint for people who liked episode 5. If you liked it, good for you, I’m happy for you, I wish that were me but heres my issues.

I don’t know if I’m suppose to consider Loki & Sylvie a couple now & at this point I don’t care like I really don’t give a shit anymore do your weird self/incest thing Disney if it makes you happy and makes you feel safe from representing queers then like idk man we dont want your take on Loki anyway. 

Everything they did with Black Loki made me uncomfortable on a level I’m not smart or political enough to explain but what I can say is the only way it would be worse is if someone called him the N-word. I’m a white passing black person & I was squirming in my seat frm being so uncomfy. I can’t remember the last time I was that uncomfy w/ the portrayal of a black character & I think the worst part about it, at least for me, is I’ve spent the whole week imagining him as this “GOOD LOKI” whos nexus event was being worthy of mjolnir or something & woo boy. & You know they’re gonna excuse all that by saying ‘tee hee but hes loki’ like oh my god that could have been handled better. Anyway Id love to see black people talk about this & wonder if they feel the same? 

They've pretty much disproven any idea of Loki being genderfluid. They gave  Sylvie the unicorn treatment LITERALLY because shes a woman/female Loki & thats apparently so unheard of among the Lokis like... Man. You CANNOT sit there & tell me hes genderfluid please STOP giving them credit for something they never did. In fact, theyve undone it. Bc comic Loki & Myth Loki ARE genderfluid. They would never treat a female presenting/iding Loki as weird bc they do so frequently themselves. Marvel/Disney Loki is cis as fuck & theyve gone above & beyond to affirm this. no nb/genderfluid person would act like that guys point blank. 

(Also the idea that what made main!loki better was cos he was in love w/ a “woman” / had an m/f romance on the horizon teehee like I’m sorry the subtext was there.) 

They really went hard on the no-homo treatment for Loki & Mobius. Like even having Sylvie mentioning to Loki that Mobius cares about Loki & Loki shrugging it off (straight up ignoring it) to focus on whatever weird thing he has going on with her. The hug was fine but again it screamed no-homo and I’m just... Im not surprised but I mean mentioning just to add to the pile of why that ep made me feel uncomfy I’m building here. Ive already wrote IN DEPTH about why the whole bait with Loki/Mobius was whack & why it was 100% bait so I don’t have a whole lot to add here. 

Lastly, I think I’ve covered everything so yea, lastly... Old man/classic Loki (as someone who knows classic loki from the comics that was UNEXPECTED) was the best thing to have happened to the entire series & they took him away just like that & I have serious emotions about it. I feel as angry about it as I do about all the actual problematic TM shit I just sat through.  So um. In conclusion.
