Ahem…
Do not come to me pretending to know the outcome either way of this apparent partnership between Tulsi Gabbard, RFK jr, Elon Musk, and President Donald Trump. There is not one person here on Tumblr who has any more info on this than I, so there is not anyone qualified to badmouth me in this. You can have your hunches and concerns, that is fine… I would like to hear them, but do not get uppity with me about it
Here are some facts:
Elon is a businessman and a wildcard. He is the world's biggest contractor to the US government… and that means bigger than Raytheon, HR Textron, Ameron Global, and all the rest. He did not invent the Tesla automobile… he took a rag-tag group of tech hippies, invested in their ideas, put a corral of organization and logic around what they were doing, and brought the Tesla to fruition. His son was brainwashed into the trans cult and is now lost to him, and that may be part of his bone to pick with globalists. Elon bought Twitter, made it into X and has stood up for free speech ever since. He is also said to be the creator of the overhead network of satellites that will form our internet in the future. He also has shown a huge and often disturbing interest in Artificial Intelligence and chipping people.
Robert F Kennedy Jr is a hardcore liberal who may hold some common goals with conservatives, but he also has some national desires that go against conservatives, i.e., gun laws, as one example. His views on health are important though. While working on the goals he has in common with the Trump admin, RFK jr may be hoping to get a couple of his liberal notions thru on the backside. It will be up to us, We the People, to stop this from happening.
Tulsi Gabbard has always held a soft spot within my heart. Like me, she is very pretty, and too, she talks a good game, and, she seems to have served her country cleanly and well… but… I know that she has been involved with the Clowns In America, and this gives me pause yo. I will never trust anyone fully if they have been thru that rat mill. I do like her apparent commitment and vigor yo
What can I say about Donald Trump? He confuses me at times… then at other times, I feel very sure of his commitment to our republic. Feelings are not what this movement is about yo Either way, unless we are going to put a lot of lives on the line, Trump is our best bet to take back our country as peacefully as possible… and that is a fact yo
I have brought up the following before Did anyone notice this 👇🏼 in January 2017?
Btw, JAG stands for Judge Advocate General
These gentlemen, officers in our military, stood with President Trump for 17 seconds *begins counting on her fingers
Yup! Just as I thought yo! The 17th letter in our alphabet is the letter Q
*interesting

Top 5 fave fanfics you've ever read
"pls nothing that requires research" -> this lmao. could i help myself anyway? no. i went and retrieved my laptop from the dining room and brought it to bed to start digging into this. me at 10:15pm:
but here’s the deal: there’s no way in hell i can give you my fave fics of ALL time. i’ve been reading fic for many years, some of them on sites that no longer exist. there are several “sorry, this fic has been deleted!” entries in my ao3 bookmarks. a lot of those years were also in the hp fandom, which is not a topic i’m willing to revisit given the situation now, despite the fact that i read many incredible hp fics & crossovers.
also, my memory is swiss cheese! but i can give you 5 fics that come to mind as ones i’ve revisited time and time again over the years. for many of these, i feel an enduring gratitude for it as a work that introduced me to the author(s) as someone whose writing i want to follow. & some of them became buddies which is! cool! for me. it’s an hour past my bedtime now so here’s what springs to mind:
you’re magic & you’re real by @unicyclehippo and @possibilistfanfiction (who also has a bunch of tumblr ficlets for this au under #gaf au) [the 100, clexa] it’s been 7 years and i still reread it at least annually. the universe, this version of these characters - it is precious to me. tender.
You Still Make Sense to Me (Your Mess is Mine) by @emilyjunk [pitch perfect, bechloe] angie is going to kill me for this in the morning because she wants it to be forgotten she ever wrote bechloe lmao but! despite that! i still reread this regularly. they’re so dumb and i love them so much. i can’t keep saying ‘tender’ yet that’s how i feel about this one too!
Something Suspiciously Close to Hope by @hedaswolf [the 100/Stranger Things crossover, clexa] ok, i did watch most of the first season of stranger things before it got too scary for me and never picked it up again. however, the wholesome ache this induces is the right palate cleanser for certain kinds of despair.
The Key to Byzantium by MarcusRowland [buffy/stargate sg1 crossover] wildcard, stargate was my parents’ fandom when i was a kid lmao. a decade and a half and it’s just a casual thing i want to have fun bopping to every so often!
the wn fandom has so so so many incredible fics & writers, but the fandom is too new to have any idea yet of what fics will endure for me. but so far show me something of a reckoning by @lucytara [warrior nun, avatrice] is something i have already reread… a ridiculous number of times. some phrases in this are so delicious & sticky for my brain that when i was writing pnw au i actually had to go check to make sure i wasn’t accidentally plagiarizing (and caught it a few times, whoops!)... it's absolutely incredible. have a good feeling about the staying power on this one.
#i worked on this list for two hours and blew my bedtime lmaoooooo#but i'm staying up late rereading things out of my bookmarks this is so fun 🥹#so thank you this was a great ride! now i will have to answer everything else in the morning lol#asked#ask game

Lets dip a little into the lore of yokai, magic, and the Hamato family in this world, shall we?
So we've got yokai, who inherently have magic, and witches, half yokai half human shapeshifters with incredibly powerful magic, and humans, who have.....no magic.
Magical humans used to be much more common, but when magic-less humans became the majority things like "witch" hunts and the like became an issue (during those times, actual witches tended to stick to integrating into yokai society instead of human society, it was too risky otherwise. Magical humans didn't have that option). Eventually all but one family line died off.
This last line of magical humans is the Hamatos.
The thing about human magic, or Hamato magic as its referred to now, is that its different from yokai and witch magic. Yokai and witches use spells, and witches on top of that can put their magic into things, like potions and talismans (and shift between their yokai and human forms, of course). Hamatos can use spells, but they also have access to gifts that are unique to the user and very powerful.
Hamato Yoshi, Splinter, never unlocked his powers. He struggled with it, and by the time he was at an age where the powers were likely to manifest the most easily he'd lost his parents. His gift is permanently locked away, we'll never see it manifest.
Similarly, Hamato Miwa never got the chance to fully manifest her powers, though since she had access to magical training there is still a chance for her Hamato magic to be unlocked.
Lee's gift is incredibly powerful, maybe in part because she's the eldest living Hamato who has full access to their powers. The ability to touch people's souls, to grab them, cut them, poison them, sever them, is nothing to take lightly. Its very difficult to make her power anything but deadly, the ability often corrupting her victim's souls and dissolving them into nothing. Her training options are limited, and in the few avenues she does have for training, managing her power's lethality is so incredibly draining that it can do serious damage to her. She'll grow into controlling it eventually, maybe even bring less dangerous aspects of it to light in time, but until she has enough motivation to go through with the training she barely uses her power.
Angie's power is incredibly suited to zem. Curiosity and a need to figure out what makes people tick giving them a natural affinity for telepathy. A little too natural. Angie never bothered to turn the power off, and part of zeir hyperactivity turned inwards to filter through all the information. They can sense people, hear their thoughts, and dig deep into people's minds so easily that oftentimes its accidental. It leads to zem often being far ahead of everyone else in terms of, well, literally everything. They know everything, and don't bother to update people on where zey're at, making zem an incredibly knowledgeable wildcard. Of course, this power is a massive violation of privacy, and zey won't be free of the consequences of that forever.
Donnie's gift is the most physical, and very similar to Angie's in a way. While Angie has open access to people's minds, Donnie can openly feel the world. Xey can feel the shape of a building inside and out from several blocks away, and every gear ticking in a clock inside it. The power requires some focus, and they aren't the best at utilising it under pressure, but its incredible all the same. Later on this power will manifest into manipulating the world xey can feel as well, though only close range.
Raph's power, while certainly nothing compared to the raw energy of Lee's, is the one that is used to its fullest degree with masterful precision and control. Astral projection doesn't seem like it can do much, but Raph was patient and creative with it, and she gains quite a few skills. Astral travel obviously, as well as some dream walking (not that they use that one often, they deal with enough privacy violations from Angie to know better), and there's an instinctual understanding of how reality is built that comes with astral travel that is very helpful for things like teleportation magic, which Raph obviously made use of. This power will eventually grow to be visible in the material world as well, meaning Raph could choose to become visible on the material plane from the astral one. And, though they can't do anything like Donnie, he can eventually choose to warp reality in relation to himself, aka flight. It won't be an easy skill to develop, but they can already fly when astral projecting so it only a matter of figuring out how to translate what they instinctually know of reality in the astral plane into the material plane's equivalent.

"How would Danganronpa characters feel if you asked them to do illegal drugstances with you" a tier list
Bozo ass notes in case anyone wanted explanations:
• It's canon that Himiko does coke look it up
• Miu and Angie definitely use psychedelics and shit, Kiyo's ALL ABOUT pushing boundaries, Sonia has definitely seen some shit, and Junko is Junko.
• Nagito would consider; can dope bring hope?
• Rantaro has 100% "partaken in the customs" of some crazy ass people from around the world
• Leon and Hagakure are dogs like they're stupid feindish mortals who crave sensation they're probably gonna consider anything from crack to huffing glue
• Chiaki just cool like that
(this category should be colored yellow but tumblr doesn't have that)
• Tenko would find drugs outlandish and heinous if offered done by a male, but HIGHLY consider it if it's being pushed by a woman
• Teru, Hifumi, and Kazuichi somewhat, are worshippers of eroticism. Boy can drugs be erotic
• Shuichi, Mukuro, and Gundham would need some serious convincing, but w the right people and atmosphere theres definitely a chance.
• Kaito and Akane are real wildcards because I definitely think theres tons of arguments one could make to convince them to partake but those two also just have their own logic that could trump any actual good point
• Kirumi gotta be so god damn tired and you KNOW she infamous for not acting like a human being but a work machine, if that ain't suspicious
• Celeste and Toko would HATE doing any drug with any other human being. However the idea that they trip / benefit from it in private jus make sense
• Tsumugi was going in that secret room during v3 to do ketamine or coke or someshit just binging past seasons of Danganronpa or stalking people w the damn motherkuma you cannot fucking convince me otherwise she'd NEVER give up her "plain girl" image to slam drugs w anyone else but in private bro she's getting crinkled and crumped that's a little gratuitous but I am so sure that Tsumugi is going ape in the crepe
(this pink category should also be yellow lmao)
• BOY does Sayaka get close. But she's got such a dog in her that wants to do the idol thing "right" so man I just think she'd power through the urges and peer pressure & stay sober
• Kiibo would be jealous as FUCK
• I think everyone else here is self explanatory
• After Mikan's initial reaction of "DRUGS!?😱" she'd probably jump directly into the orange or red category depending on how well you can manage to get through to her, but do I think getting blitzed with her would be emotionally catastrophic for all others involved yes
• Mondo might smoke or drink but I feel he may have very strong feelings against illegal substances either for killing his biker homies or causing them to go to jail / rehab / have a shit life / etc
• Would Taka ever WILLINGLY take a drug? Never. If you manage to get a drug into his system, however, boy do I feel like that would change his mind
• Sakura and Nekomaru would never harm someone who does drugs but they're such health nuts that they'd just never be cool w that
• Gonta could probably be convinced rather easily but I really just feel like his brain CANNOT handle drugs and he'd absolutely freak out... Part of me thinks that drugs would make bugs "scary" looking for him and that alone is enough to make him see drugs as pure evil. ALTERNATIVELY: He eated so many god damn psychedelics as a kid growing up in the forest that shit has no effect on his bigass anymore.
• 90% chance Aoi would be deeply personally offended if someone offered her drugs, ESPECIALLY performance enhancers, just cuz she don't see herself like that and someone else doing so would make her feel weird
• Mahiru just ain't no fun
I feel like Kokichi and Ibuki could truly be anything from full on tweakers to the most stone cold sober people in their casts I really do not know where they stand I won't lie they change identities based on who's around that's my best guess
And I believe the rest explains itself

Getting knocked out the first time sucked, but he told himself to stick to the original plan. Sarus knew that there were only a few of them who had support Personas so he needed to tough it out. However, after the Heartbreaker and getting knocked out the second time, he knew that the plan should be dammed. Now back on his feet again. There was a glint of anger and frustration within the Fool-Magician’s eyes.
“Knock me down once, shame on you. Knock me down twice, shame on me.”
Knives were firmly grasped in his hand as he searched for a very familiar presence within his soul. Grabbing onto his original power, the outline of Lakshmi shimmered away, replacing it was Takehaya Susano-o. Something shifted in Sarus’ readings as the Magician Persona took form behind him. Gone was the Fool Aura around him, replaced with the Magician Aura.
“Try to burn us now.”

Indulge me in angiekork, tell me how it be cause I'm interested now
I sat on this ask out of embarrassment for like three weeks I am so sorry AS MUCH AS I LOVE TALKING ABOUT THEM I GET SO SHAMEFUL ABOUT IT AAAH THEY MEAN SO MUCH TO ME. I’m so glad you’re interested 😭 I think their potential dynamic is SUCH a tragic missed opportunity they could’ve had in the games HOLLA!!!!!
Here’s a comprehensive list that I love revising every time I send someone it, enjoy my brain worms!!! This time with doodles attached :]
He’s a literal anthropologist and obsessed with other cultures, and Angie is the only foreigner in the entire class, with some absolutely BATSHIT culture; it only makes sense that Korekiyo would (or should’ve) take an immediate interest in her, with a notepad in hand.
Kiyo has his sister’s voice in his head. Angie has Atua’s voice in her head. (whether they’re both alters or tulpas or just delusions--they’re very similar) They both grew up lonely (Angie stated she was in her freetime events, and Kiyo ONLY had his sister...and we know what happened to her) and had to cope in EERILY similar / same ways; being that both of these “voices” were formed as a way to deal with said loneliness. They would ABSOLUTELY understand each other in this regard if they were to properly get to know each other. (Kodaka knew they’d be too powerful if they interacted and that’s just the cold-hard truth)
Either way I really don’t think Kiyo would dismiss Angie’s Atua ramblings as a crazed religious nutjob, like the rest of the class does, but as a curious case of what the mind does to cope, AND as someone he can relate to.
Dynamic of two generally creepy characters who are both painfully NOT self-aware AT ALL. Absolute outcasts in their class and likely able to be the only ones to truly “understand” each other as stated previously. Both absolute wildcards; unpredictable in their own ways. Angie wants to steal everyone’s blood, Korekiyo wants to steal everyone’s nerves, it all works out!! Also dynamic of Tall And Stoic And Kinda Mean™️ and Short And Bubbly And Optimistic™️. AS WELL as the dynamic of Fucked Up™ and Cinnamon Roll™. They are simultaneously opposite’s attract AND very similar in that they are both self-unaware ritual/seance creeps that no one else wants to hang out with due to being terrified of them.
Going off the stories in his freetime events and how much insane things he’s done and experienced just for the hell of it, as well as his (technically non-canon) actions in the manga where he just goes along with whatever people say to do just for the experience alone;; (AS WELL AS HIS LOVE HOTEL EVENT LITERALLY JUST BEING “OUT OF CURIOSITY”) -- he would absolutely delve facefirst into Angie’s eccentric culture; going along with any of its rituals and practices, initially just to study it but with his picture perfect memory of a specific seance circle…he’d surely stick around. Shoutout to blood cults!!!!!
Kiyo sees the beauty in all people, despite how “ugly” their actions and existences as a whole may be – Angie, through God, says everyone deserves forgiveness and grants that forgiveness immediately. Kind of a matching theme of looking past people’s flaws not in a “I’m choosing to ignore it” way but in a “that makes you the beautiful person you are” way I suppose!
Going with the commonly accepted idea that Kiyo was abused by his sister, and Angie just wants to make everyone happy and has a certain natural charisma to her, able to comfort basically anyone as we saw in the game;; – she would absolutely try her damndest to help him through his trauma. She has very unconventional ways of getting him to cheer up, yet with how inquisitive he is of all human behaviors, nothing she does would ever fail because she’s just so damn weird and interesting; really gets the anthropology gears turning in his head.
I KNOW I JUST POSTED ABOUT IT HAHA AND IT’S WHAT MY ANIMATIC IS ABOUT BUT In a postgame VR AU where they’re all alive, Korekiyo would eventually try to recover from said trauma, leading to him apologizing to Angie for killing her; which she’d genuinely forgive immediately because of her religion and ideals, + she’d understand everything he went through as well and why he did it due to her extremely nurturing personality. Fun angst and comfort to be had there.
The idea alone of Angie being the only one not scared of Kiyo in the class and he’s kinda like “how do I deal with this” because none of his threats of nerve-tearing affect her, and he ends up being scared of her in return. Powerful. Effervescent. The other day my buddy said Kiyo is scared of Angie in the same way an elephant is scared of a mouse and I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
ON THAT SAME THOUGHT he would end up giving up any threats to scare her off and just kinda lets her do whatever, he will threaten to murder someone if they look at him funny, meanwhile Angie’s just crawling all over him like a monkey trying to do a TikTok trend and he’s like “this is fine actually I’m used to it.”
This fanfic that lives in my head rent-free where Kiyo casually gives blood sacrifices to hear about Angie’s culture.

Start a Fight Meme
@rirewelikethis asked: Wildcard with Wraith and Angie?
I assigned them a number between 1-17 and went on random.org and got 9: 👎 if your muse has authority over mine, and mine is disobeying
Angela was usually agreeable, usually just went with the flow of things; she was not a fan of being told what to do outside of missions though. With them being in the middle of a surprise firefight, however, she just instinctively scowled and said, “No. I will not,” when Wraith tried to order her around. They couldn’t just leave these people without help.
So ignoring their order to stay behind cover, she bolted to the next safe spot, trying to get to the people caught in the crossfire. Angela could just inch her way to them.
It was after everything was said and done and they were finally somewhere safe that she finally let them have the floor to be pissed off at her if they wanted. She had a few scrapes but she was unharmed, and the innocent bystanders were alive and well. Angela saw no problems with disobeying an order she didn’t think she needed.
“See? Everything turned out fine.”

Saints and Misfits by S.K. Ali
Wildcard ~ August
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
My opinion in three sentences:
This has been one of those books that I've been so eager to read for a while, but nervous to start in case it disappointed. From the very beginning (literally!), however, I was very much taken with Ali's handling of the themes, which proved much darker than I was expecting, and the way in which she represented the Muslim community. That being said, the exploration of the hijab was much weaker and not in correspondence with the established characters, but as a whole, the book was an engaging read and strongly-placed among its contemporaries.
(Without spoiling anything) the best bit:
Ali offers a great, well-informed and diverse insight into the Muslim community. I was hesitant going in, knowing the poor generalisations, stereotypes and clichés that typically saturate the media and society at wide, but from the very beginning my trepidation was eased. Seriously, the first scene is really powerful and, whilst not necessarily proving a plotline to helplessly hook the read ad infinitum, I knew I'd made a good decision in choosing to read the book.
A warning for the book:
It's not one of those that's going to wrap everything up in pretty paper with a bow, where everything is somehow all OK in the end. That's not a complaint, either! Ali doesn't rush things or accelerate the timeline just to tidy up a relationship and give it a pretty conclusion. Sure, I'd have loved to know what happened next with Janna and Fizz, but at the pace established in the book and the timeline we were set upon, it would have served to weaken the ending and detracted from the great realism of the book.

Hey love your PMM DRv3 au, I was wondering who do you think out of the magical people would witch out first? Additionally, assuming Kokichi wasn't the first and learned that he would one day become a witch, do you think he'd handle that well? Love your work~
Okay, so first, thank you so much! I love hearing when people like my work!
Second, sorry for this novel I wrote in response, but whatever, I had a lot to say!
Short answers: Ryoma or Kokichi would probably witch out first, then Kaito. Kokichi never handles things well.
Long answers under cut.
Wildcard option: Kiibo already witched out from the start and Miu “brought him back” a la Kazumi. Not sure if this is “canon”, but I kind of like the idea.
---
Putting that aside, probably Ryoma. I assume Kyubey would approach him after his family and girlfriend were already dead, right when he was looking for revenge, so his killing spree would probably be magically-assisted. If he still went to jail for it, then he’d witch out really fast with no access to Grief Seeds. If he wasn’t caught or went on the run, then he’d still be in bad shape considering the massive trauma, lack of a support system, and suicidal thoughts.
I think his low self-worth and general lack of motivation would lead to him either not seeking out witches to fight or pulling a Sayaka and running himself ragged in a self-destructive rampage. Either way, his days would be numbered. If Miu’s group managed to pull him in (probably after Kaede joins/takes over) then he’d do better, but considering the way he tries to push others away…
---
The other top choice is Kokichi because he’s fighting alone and thus using lots of magic and at constant risk of injury, but also traveling with DICE, so he can’t move freely and has to worry about collateral damage and others targeting them to get back at him. So, the worst of both worlds. (And don’t even suggest that they should contract too or he’ll–) He’s nomadic, so he has no safe home base, and he’s constantly poaching off other people’s territories, so he definitely ends up fighting them and wasting more magic.
He’s also way too paranoid to have made a wish in any circumstance but an utter emergency, so he knows he got a raw deal even if he tries to pretend otherwise, and there’s no way he wouldn’t notice stuff like the similarities between Soul Gems and Grief Seeds and the way certain magical people just seem to disappear right as a new kind of witch appears. I think he’d sort of treat Kyubey like Monokuma (pretending to get along and have complementary goals, not openly working against him) and avoid directly asking him for confirmation so that he can keep on living in denial. But eventually he’d run into someone desperate, someone who’d really needed that Seed he took or someone who had nothing left and just wanted to take out their emotional pain on an intruder, and then…
How would he handle this knowledge?
Badly.
Specifically, I think he’d keep repressing his feelings, but even harder. It’s not like he didn’t know before, but now that he knows…. Well, his Soul Gem probably isn’t looking too great.
He would absolutely never tell DICE about this (just like he’s not telling them about the Familiar thing, or the literal Soul Gem thing, or how he can’t seem to keep his Gem as bright as before, or…), but he might end up mockingly telling another magical if they got him pissed enough and kept asking questions. He hates being cornered, especially about something he genuinely finds upsetting.
If confronted by someone else who already knew or just found out, he’d fake having always known and totally not caring at all. Just keep faking it even harder, hiding everything better, and escalating to more outrageous and insensitive behavior until everyone wants to fight him on sight. So, basically a time bomb.
Despite all this, I’m not sure he’d actually witch out.
He really dislikes murder, being controlled or forced into bad situations, and other people messing with his head, not to mention that DICE would probably be the first people caught in his labyrinth, so turning into a witch would be like the ultimate nightmare scenario. The clear better option would be to destroy his Soul Gem before he transforms.
But I also see him as afraid of dying and only willing to do that when all other options have been exhausted. He’s also totally willing to let or make others hurt him, but doesn’t tend to directly hurt himself. So, he’d be running at the Soul Gem equivalent of 5%-20% battery for weeks or even months, trending downwards but not willing to definitively say that this is the point where he has to give up and die.
Of course, living with your Soul Gem clouded impairs your thinking and makes all your negative emotions worse, so he’d get more paranoid, more secretive, more confrontational, more out of control…. Eventually he’d be avoiding everyone, and then just realize in some back alley that he has no Grief Seeds left and he’s at the point of no return.
I think at that point it’d all depend on who, if anyone, found him and how quickly they reacted. He might get them to kill him, kill himself, get caught/distracted and witch out, or even get out of it alive if someone is really fast with a Grief Seed (or relatively clean Soul Gem, if you go for that headcanon…) and good with rapid-fire, improv therapy sessions.
---
Kaito is probably the next most likely to witch out because he also tends to repress his emotions, keep up an image for others, and try to handle things on his own. He’d probably be dealing with some jealousy over Shuichi’s growth and some stress over keeping up with school while hunting Familiars and Witches, but I think he’d manage right up until he starts to learn the kind of stuff Kyubey didn’t mention.
He’d persevere through the ‘Soul Gem is your soul, body is essentially dead’ thing (especially if his body was previously not that healthy….), but not the witch thing. I feel like he would stubbornly insist that witches come from “curses” and refuse to even consider any other options right up until someone witched out in front of him. So, a huge, ideal-shattering revelation followed immediately by a surprise fight against an enemy he doesn’t want to kill, then guilt over not saving that person, guilt over killing all the other witches, terror at the thought of telling Maki and Shuichi, fear of transforming and hurting more people…
He would absolutely pretend the person just died fighting the witch, and avoid mentioning the revelation to Maki and Shuichi at all costs. I think he would honestly delude himself into believing he could just hold out and magically make everything better right up until he broke down and witched out in front of them.
(New timeline Kaito would probably be fine with the Law of Cycles thing as long as he can frame it as a heroic sacrifice/reward kind of thing. Maybe even a little tempted by the Godoka cult stuff?)
---
Kaito witching out might just take out the whole group, but if the others manage to not sink into depression (or just straight out get killed by his witch…) and to follow what Kaito tried to teach them (Not what he did, mind you. What he told them to do.), then they’d probably end up forming a permanent group with the HimiTen duo.
They’d do alright as long as Tenko realizes that she can’t always prioritize cleaning Himiko’s Soul Gem over her own and stops trying to hide when she needs it more. I think Shuichi and Maki would actually tell them about the origin of witches, and it would be really upsetting and stressful, but not totally devastating like finding out right as someone you love becomes a monster you have to kill.
---
Meanwhile, the Kaede, Miu, Gonta, and Kiibogroup (Kamigoki?) is shockingly stable. They have enough people to not send everyone to every fight, so they can manage the other parts of their lives, and they have a wide enough territory to support all of them Grief Seed-wise. Also, strategy-wise, they have close and long range plus whatever tools Miu invents, and Kiibo can fly to gather info or get a better angle to shoot.
Kaede is pragmatic enough to accept that sometimes you have no options besides killing people and Miu prioritizes her and her own over strangers, so I think they’d be able to withstand the witch revelation even if they weren’t happy about it.
Kiibo tends to go along with the group unless he has major objections, and he kind of has this stubborn belief that things will turn out fine in the end if you can get through all the terrible things happening now, but he was already sensitive about being perceived as non-human…. He might go no-antenna mode and decide to destroy Kyubey to end the system or even pull a Mami and try to take out everyone’s Soul Gems before they witch out, but I honestly think the others could stop him and talk him down before any major damage came of it (Killing Kyubey is a group project!)
Gonta would be really upset, but could probably be convinced that defeating the witches is the best they can do to honor the people the witches used to be. Also, fighting witches and familiars is still tangibly doing something that stops people from being killed, so he wouldn’t feel useless and get desperate like in the game.
Ryoma wouldn’t be that affected because he already saw himself as a killer (plus blunted affect from depression). I mean, he wouldn’t be in a great place mentally, but it wouldn’t necessarily be a worse place than usual.
---
Angie’s cult (Angie, Tsumugi, Kirumi, Rantaro, and Korekiyo) already know about the witch thing, and the Familiar thing, and the soul outside of body thing…. And probably the entropy thing? They’re really co-dependent and groupthinky, but stable. I also see them as having really useful special powers (something like Oriko’s for Angie, illusions or transformation for Tsumugi, finding/tracking things or people for Rantaro… maybe healing for Korekiyo if he wished to cure his sister?) and getting paid in Grief Seeds to use those powers for other magicals.
They generally believe that witching out is just part of the balance of life. Every wish has a curse, you hurt as many as you save, etc. (New timeline beliefs are probably more along the lines of proving yourself worthy to ascend from this world and join Godoka). Rantaro is a little unhappier when thinking about how that applies to his sisters, and Korekiyo is very, very interested in other people’s reactions when they find out, but none of them is in danger of experiencing it first-hand unless they get separated.
I feel like the group could withstand one or two of the members witching out (as long as they weren’t Tsumugi and Angie) without losing faith, but any more than that would permanently destabilize them. None of them could actually last on their own at this point, although it might be possible to join another group.
