Inazuma 11/ digimon adventure AU where Taichi goes to raimon middle instead of Odaiba for one reason or another and helps Endou start the soccer club. This leads to the events of 02 happening while the events of og are going on causing so much chaos.

Some notable things from my brain are that Taichi is okay with Endou being captain because he has already saved the world/Japan like 3 times by now and does not want that pressure again. He's fine with being support and providing advice.

The first Teikoku match is when he gets called back to the digital world by agumon, it's why Gouenji needed to save the others. Some people are mad for a bit but they eventually calm down.

Taichi also keeps the coolest head whenever they go up against something crazy, a skill that come in handy espically against aliea ("digimon are basically aliens so...")

Also around Aliea is when raimon gets their digimon partners, for extra chaos and fun. I may-or-may-not have a basic list already.

Taichi's hissatsus that I've come up with so far consist of "Courageous Charge" a dribbling move to break past multiple opponents and "Terra Shot" a shot that coats the ball in high-temperature atmospheric energy and releases it towards the goal.

Also also, Ken and Daisuke join the team with Toramaru for the ffi. They have a combined shot called like "imperial lance" or something. Ken also has a move called "The Rocket"

im just rewatching a lot of stuff so hear me out

with the adventure 99 kids, the only way they know how to interact with digimon is if the world is at stake. there is a definite Divide of the human and digital world. the hikarigaoka and odaiba fog incident seals the deal with them. next time theyre called, diaboromon is rampaging the internet, and they can finally see their friends again. they had to part ways, and deal with growing without them first.

with the 02 cast, the worlds intertwine. they deal with enemies that interact with them in both worlds and have influence in both. by episode 50, the digimon being at home is a pretty open secret. they do everything together and in the 02 cast were a part of the incidents.

thats why kizuna was so jarring for them. at least taichi, yamato and sora. with the digimon now being more known, they could take them to class. they could have lunch out with them. however, there is definitely a cloud of 'I have only seen them in a life-threatening situation, what can I do with them' thoughts that's blocking them from having fun with them.

jou's arc in adventure especially speaks out to me. his issues are especially why he and gomamon are still together. its because of the issues at home. in the digital world, he learns the value of reliability in his own way. his own choice, as both a Chosen Child and as a person.

dealing with problems that relate to human social issues is hard for the 99 digidestined because all they know dealing with problems is to fight their way through it. it doesn't pass their thoughts that the digimon themselves are related to their own personal issues.

Kiyondo was definitely not a big Taichi fan when he first met Taichi. Then he found out he had to share his dad with this guy?! As much as he wanted to make it seem like he didn't love his dad, he felt protective. 7 year old Kiyo would glare at Taichi, trying to make Taichi uncomfortable and maybe he'd run away.

But that didn't happen. And Takaaki would scold him, angrily yelling at him to stop.

There was no way he was going to share his dad with that nerd, though! Kiyo plotted. But Taka would ruin his plan by breaking something or pulling Taichi away from the line of aim. He'd tell Kiyo to quit it and let their father be happy. Takaaki was absolutely miserable in life and his love life was incredibly...let's just say not okay. He's lost and been hurt. And much to what his older twin brother didn't see, he saw the pain his father felt.

It never always stopped their father from absolutely adoring them, though. He'd show them affection and whatever love he could to them.

So Taka wasn't going to let his idiotic brother ruin that! But he did keep a close eye on Taichi. (He could see the way his hands moved! He wasn't slick!) And he just hoped his father was lucky and he tried to force his brother to notice. Get him out of his plotting and let him see.

my friend and I think there should be a spin-off game or saga within a game or something where you play as taichi from morning glory but he’s a grown-up cool ass wrestler now who gets into some Shenanigans. and you can actually use Taichi Bomb and Taichi Blast as legit moves in combat

indont have as much to say about that as i did for the other 2 and also I'm eepy but like

i follow some azatai artists (obsessed with this on-going doujin series that is literally just the "it's requited they're just stupid" trope) but for fanfic, i much prefer seeing them platonically, especially in the light of siblings <3

i think it's so cute when taichi, the more "childish" and energetic one of the two, goes into older brother mode with azami

Finale Project for Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary has been announced - DIGIMON ADVENTURE BEYOND.

A new PV set to the song Brave Heart developed by Yumeta Company (Studio for Kizuna, 02TB, new Adventure PV) featuring Taichi and friends as adults will be released at Digimon Con in March 2025.

Adventure and 02 director Hiroyuki Kakudo will return as the in charge for this new animation with Rie Nishimura (Kizuna/02TB) in charge of the of character designs.

Taichi and Yamato’s designs drawn by Kakudo and a poster featuring a scene from the PV were revealed at NYCC.

He also left the following comment:

I wanted to thank you all a little for your support, so I have decided to make this video. It has been a while since I have worked on storyboards for Taichi and his friends.

It won't be very long, but you will see Agumon and their team working together a little differently than before.

I think it will be especially pleasing to all of you who have always believed that you have a partner Digimon as well.

Lando Being Besties with Your Chinese Grandma

A/N: I never write anymore but IDK something about seeing Lando with Alex's grandma made me think about Lando charming a less problematic version of my own Asian grandma. Also none of this is supposed to be taken seriously.

Somehow you swiftly moved from 'being too young to date' to your grandma asking when you're going to get married every time she sees you

She brings up how proud she is of your female cousins for finding a 'nice boy' and settling down

She offers multiple times to set you up with one of her friend's grandsons who she claims has a good job and a mortgage

When you complain to Lando, this amuses him...a lot

Especially since there's a very simple solution to stop her incessant nagging

Needless to say, she doesn't know about you and Lando

You and Lando are private but not secret

Since your grandma only uses Instagram to look at pictures of her great-grandkids, you didn't think you would risk her looking at F1 Gossip accounts and seeing blurry photos of you and Lando

Lando's met your parents and siblings but you weren't planning on introducing him to your extended family

What you didn't expect was to run into one of your grandmother's friends doing taichi at the park when you and Lando went for a stroll

Word got back to your grandma

She demanded to know who this mysterious man was

Which was how Lando ended up invited to your next family dinner

I'm going to be very honest here, Lando doesn't eat anything at dinner because he has the palette of a five-year-old

But he makes a good impression on your grandma

Also, you two visit the McDonalds Drive-Thru after dinner to get him McNuggets.

One day your grandma calls and complains she can't watch Price is Right on the TV

Since you're working and Lando is bored you send Lando over to provide tech support

Also helps her download games on her iPad and maybe secretly purchases extra Candy Crush lives for her using his credit card

And teaches her how to Facetime her grandkids much to the chagrin of you and your cousins

It isn't long until his charm wins her over

He spends the rest of the day watching Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal with her while she crochets a hat for him

She always has a red envelope to give him

He drives her and her friends to the casino

And the Asian grocery store or your local Chinatown

Powerwashes the side of her house which he claims is just like the video game

Your grandma always makes sure to order him basic stuff at the restaurant that he'll eat like egg fried rice or beef and broccoli or chicken chow mein.

She also snaps at your cousins who try to eat the food she ordered specifically for Lando.

Best QL Parental Figures of 2024 💖✨

Welcome to Babyangelsky's 2024 Wrap Up! To commemorate my second year of watching QL dramas, and my first year of actually talking on my blog, I've compiled a series of lists to celebrate all the QL things I loved this year!

I decided I was the mother of several QL characters this year who happened to have shitty parents but it's always worth remembering that not all QL parents and parental figures are shitty. Some of them are decent and they deserve to be recognized.

Not my favorites, the best. Because if they're the best, they're already my favorites because the bar is in hell.

♡ Jack's Grandma (Jack & Joker)

What would Jack and Joke do without grandma? What would any of us do without grandma? She's the heart of their little family, full of love and forgiveness and protectiveness.

♡ Pop's Dad (Addicted Heroin)

What a genuinely lovely man. Always trying his best to care for his family and guide his son. They may not have had a lot of money but he still provided a loving environment for his child after he and his wife separated.

♡ Tiger's Mom (Addicted Heroin)

It was at this moment that this woman became my favorite character in this show. Your son's friends can't have their moms come to this school event for one reason for another? No problem, she's everyone's mom now.

♡ Ai's Parents (I Saw You in My Dream)

Ai may have been their only biological child, but they had four children. They loved and supported Yu, Yo, and Ing like they were their own without hesitation. Not to mention the fact that they accepted all their gay sons while being very Catholic.

♡ Natsume's Mom (Cosmetic Playlover)

It's so nice to see a BL mom be excited to discover her son has a boyfriend and immediately and enthusiastically accept said boyfriend into the family. We need more of that.

♡ Prince Anan (The Loyal Pin)

In all the ways that matter, Anan is Anin's father. She may be his little sister but she's his kid. He loves her above all else. He never hesitated to defend her. Truly the only man in that palace worth a damn.

♡ Almond's Mom (Knock Knock Boys)

Was she a little overprotective in the beginning? Absolutely. Did she come around when Almond finally took the time to talk to her and respect the boundaries that he set and help the boys help Peak? Also absolutely.

♡ Takara's Grandpa (Takara's Treasure)

This man took a very unloved little boy and made him feel loved and at peace and gave him a hobby that would eventually lead him to finding the love of his life. Incredible work from an amazing grandpa.

♡ Dee's Grandma (Wandee Goodday)

Khun Mon is the kind of grandma we all wish we had. That woman is so cool. She made Dee feel so loved and safe that he was comfortable talking to her about everything. She was his rock to lean on and I'm so glad he had her.

♡ Taichi's Grandpa (I Hear the Sunspot)

This man made his grandbaby a birthday meal and it was in that moment that I decided that he deserves the world. Doesn't matter if it was burnt; it was made with all the love and care Taichi never got from his parents and for that it was the best meal ever.

♡ Hill's Grandma (Fourever You)

Considering how awful Hill's grandpa is, it's especially important to me that his grandma is loving and wonderful and accepting of him. I need her to be okay again so he can have her presence in his life.

♡ Zen's Grandma (The Rebound)

Zen's grandma wasn't just an amazing parental figure to him, but also to Ryu and to Atom, neither of whom had parents who deserved the title. She gave them a home and a safe harbor and she deserves to be happy and comfortable always.

♡ Peak's Dad (Knock Knock Boys)

A lack of communication can seem like a lack of love and acceptance if its left to stretch too long but thankfully, that wasn't the case here. Peak's dad wanted him to be happy more than anything. He loved his child. He wanted a family for his child. And most importantly, he got the opportunity to really talk to Peak and make sure Peak knew all those things.

♡ Princess Alisa (The Loyal Pin)

Now here is a mother who understood the assignment. Was she confused and shocked to learn that her daughter was gay? Quite. But then she immediately turned around and decided to be loving and supportive of Anin's choices and that is what we like to see.

♡ Oyei and Cher (Wandee Goodday)

Listen, they're Yak's parents. Yak is their child. He's their pride and joy and they want to see him thrive and be happy. Yei stepped up when their father peaced out of their lives and became the father that Yak deserved and when Cher came into the picture, he did the exact same thing.

♡ Joe's Mom (My Stand-In)

It wasn't just Joe that got a second chance when he woke up in a new body, it was the second Joe's mom, too. It wasn't quite the second chance she thought it was, but she still got a version of her son back and got the chance to make amends. She recognized her mistakes, learned from them, and repaired a relationship she thought she'd lost.

♡ Kram's Parents (Two Worlds)

Parallel universe shenanigans aside, Kram always had wonderful parents who adored him. Dilok, his father, may be one of my favorite characters ever and it's a real shame that he didn't get to shine as much in the show as he did in the novel.

♡ Saint's Dad (High School Frenemy)

Saint's dad has got to be my favorite example of how a parent can be imperfect and be battling their own demons but still genuinely care for their child. The man had his problems but he never took them out on Saint. He made sure his child was fed and cared for and wanted a good future for him and really, that's exactly what a good parent is supposed to do.

♡ Shao Peng's Parents (See Your Love)

These two people adore their son. It's easy to fall into the belief that the only kind of good parent is a perfect parent but that's just not the case. Even the very best parents will make missteps, although only a fraction of them will take the time to reflect on those missteps and how they've affected their child. Not only did Shao Peng's parents do that, they apologized to him for it and made sure he knew they loved him exactly as he was.

♡ Style's Dad (The Heart Killers)

He knows exactly what kind of person his son is and lovingly roasts him for it. Emphasis on the lovingly. Style's dad not only accepts that his son is gay, Style feels comfortable enough to talk about his boy problems with him. That tells me all I need to know about the solid relationship they have as father and son.

♡ Diew's Grandpa (Monster Next Door)

Grandparents who are a safe haven for their grandchildren will always have my eternal love and respect. When Diew couldn't talk to his mom, he had his grandpa. He felt safe with his grandpa. He knew his grandpa would always be there to listen and support him and advise him in a way his mother couldn't. And not only was grandpa that steady rock for Diew, but also for Diew's mom, and he was ultimately the reason she could come around and recognize her mistakes.
