It's astonishing to hear how similar Joshua Seth and Lara Jill Miller sound 20+ years later, which definitely helps illustrate the differences in localization over the same period of time.

I couldn't get the colours right completely, but I always liked my more reddish/orange hues and so this does feel more like my version of Taichi. I ALWAYS wanted to give the "lineless look" of Our War Game a try, so this was the best opportunity to do so - especially since this is my first official art of 2025!

ACTUALLY INSANE DISCOTEK MADE NEW UNCUT DUBS OF THE FIRST THREE DIGIMON MOVIES WITH THE ORIGINAL ENGLISH CAST

So I just finished watching the redubs of the three digimon movies that were originally combined together to make Digimon the Movie, and I've got to say that I'm SO HAPPY at how well they were able to replicate some of the voices of the characters whose actor's had passed away/retired. Like especially Cody's, Mimi's, and Armadillomon's new voices. They were so close/almost identical to their old voices and it genuinely makes me so happy and grateful. The voice actors did such an amazing job and the movies were great.

Absolutely positively need to shill this upcoming release from Discotek: "Digimon: The Movies", a collection of the first three Digimon movies, which not only includes the Saban Entertainment "Digimon: The Movie" that cuts all three together to try to form one cohesive whole, but the original Japanese version of those three separate movies, and a new dub for those three separate movies with the original dub cast from "Digimon: The Movie"!

Even if you're not big into Digimon, I'd probably recommend checking this out solely for the second movie, Our War Game, directed by Mamoru Hosoda (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, Belle).

It's also tremendously affordable!
