Everyone! Meet Deimos and Phobos!

Named after the twin moons, their names literally mean dread and phobia, so they aren't a force to mess with!

Deimos smiles, Phobos frowns, but they're very expressive in their own ways.

I wanted them to have aspects of the submas subway theme and also Gris's skull pride so they have the dad and uncle's old uniform coats that got a little two well worn, Gris fixed them up to be somewhat functional and fashionable.

Unlike Ingo and Emmet they don't want to be the exact same, they have their preferences.

Deimos:

Runs very hot and needs to stay cool (will bake in the sun like Ingo)

Likes shorter hairstyles for easy styling and also to stay extra cool

Inherited Gris's old suspenders and nack for bracelets

Very calm, cool, collected, won't speak much unless it's very important

Loves sweet and sour stuff

Is the 'Older' twin.

Phobos:

Runs very cold and neats layers to be comfortable (will freeze in the snow like Gris)

Likes having longer hair, it makes him feel nice <3

Emmet gave up his old jacket just so Phobos has extra on hand and Guzma gave him an old Team Skull bandana as a makeshift scarf.

Very talkative, will go on and on about anything and nothing. Won't stop talking until Deimos decides to pick up the rest of the conversation.

Loves spicy and savory things.

Is the 'Younger' twin.

They are similar in a lot of ways. They are inseparable and care for each other dearly, brothers by blood and by bond.

Ingo and Emmet liked trains and transportation and also some mechanical engineering. But Gris always had a nack for trinkets and a little bit of mischief. So, Deimos and Phobos like to tinker with gadgets and inventions.

They're evil geniuses but in a good way! They'll use their little plans for their own self-gain and personal use but aren't mean-spirited like let's say team rocket or team plasma.

They're city kids at heart and run Nimbasa City whether the citizens know it or not. All thanks to Gris making sure the twins are still as punk as they were.

As smart as they are in mechanics they are fierce in pokemon battling too! They rule the playground and nick pick their father and uncle's strategies for fun.

And they're very loved by Gris and Ingo <3

(I will also like to add that due to Gris and Ingo's strange hair genetics the twins's natural hair is a poofy geometric disaster)

Here I will leave some of my thoughts, guesses and headcanons. Some of them may be stupid and unreasonable, but I will share them with you anyway.

I've noticed that a lot of people headcanon Earth and Moon or Earth and Venus as siblings. And I partially agree with this. But here are my thoughts on this matter: They are celestial bodies and they do not have siblings in the usual sense, but since they live for a very long time, over billions of years of being close to each other, they can develop family feelings for each other. But only if they are always close. Therefore, most often this occurs between a planet and its moons or between several moons of one planet. This is unlikely to happen between planets, since each of them is in its own orbit, perhaps double planets are an exception. Therefore, I headcanon the Moon and Earth as brothers, Phobos and Deimos too, and Mars as their guardian. (Earth and Venus may be somehow connected, but not family) It's more difficult with gas giants. I believe that when their moons are too numerous and constantly increasing in number, they stop keeping track of them and treat them more like decorations. But Idk.

In the Solar System, having life is supposedly cool and the Earth is proud of it, Venus dreams of it, etc. but it seems to me that in other systems the attitude towards this may be different. For example, I have an oc exoplanet and in her home system this was not considered something cool. They literally treated it like lice lol.

Planets/stars/satellites do not speak any of the earth’s languages, but their own. But different systems have something like their own accents and dialects. So my oc speaks a little differently from them.

In different parts of the universe, the appearance of the planets changes and what the planets will look like usually depends on the star (I'm talking specifically about planethumans).

For the planet/star and satellites, love is something deeper than for earthlings. This is very strong, sensual.

I also noticed how in many fanfictions characters call Proto-Earth that way. But it seems to me that the term “Proto-Earth” itself appeared after his death, namely the collision with Theia and the appearance of the “new Earth”. Before that, everyone simply called him Earth.

Each of them has its own axis tilt, right? They don't really follow it, especially in the planethumans format, so I made a headcanon about them sleeping on their slants. So, Venus sleeps upside down, huh?

The Earth speaks all earthly languages and knows the stages of evolution of almost every creature on his surface, although sometimes he himself may be confused about this. His past memories are slowly fading. He does not remember how he and the Moon appeared, he does not remember that there could have been life on Venus before. I imagine him periodically reading a book about dinosaurs because he doesn't want to forget about them.

I like to think that Mars used to be a bad-tempered asshole, but Earth doesn't remember that. Mars himself does not want to remember this at all, since he has already grown out of it.

Probably the Earth became the way we see him because of humans. Perhaps he was different before. I imagine him as a sweet and kind planet who does his best to care for his friends and his little brother. But when he changed, Luna continued to love him like a brother and care for him in return.

Earth usually tells others only the good side of earthlings, but usually he complains to the Moon about how much he is hurt, about how they are starting another war and doing other terrible things. Therefore, the Moon is much more tolerant of the Earth; he must be the only one who knows how hard it is for him.

Venus is jealous of the Earth and everyone has already understood this. I like to think that Venus, after losing life on its surface, feels the need to protect Earth and its inhabitants.

Luna is aroace. Just because for some reason it seems to me that dating someone just doesn’t suit him.

Folk who like PJO and TTRPG should consider playing "Scion: becoming as gods". It's literally a game tailored for playing children of gods, and it includes deities from many pantheons, so theoretically you may play a child of any deity :D

Anyways. My Scion OCs + 1 (one) pjo gorl.

Starting with my Phobos and Deimos designs for my Scion setting! Deimos is on the left and Phobos is on the right.

Next we have Konstantin (or Kostya for short), the son of Marena, Slavic deity of winter, death, sometimes sicknesses. We have very little information on Slavic paganism thanks to Christianity, so it's actually pretty difficult to conclude if Marena even was a deity, but oh well. I guess I'll have to rely on scraps of info we have alongside with headcannons

And finally, my pjo gorl, as promised. Chloe, somewhat gothic-y daughter of Demeter. She uses the shovel as a weapon and to care for the plants too, but she also jokes about burying people as well. I'm still in the process of finalising her character, but her fatal flaw is definitely her enormous desire to protect her friends. She would gladly fail the quest if it would start getting really, really bad for her team.

Has your OC ever taken on a secret identity or used a disguise to achieve their aims?

Beyond some of the msq moments where it calls for you to pretend to be someone else this is actually a big part of Sib's story, and something that Phobos did to an extent. Below the cut for potential spoilers and length.

I'll start with Phobos as its shorter, but they went back to Amaurot in the time just before the sundering hoping to do a little damage control for Deimos and at least let Emet and Anthea know he was okay and alive still. When getting there though Phobos finds out about the future and Emet's end, and that hurt to know that their brother essentially lets his grief be the end of him. However, because no one knew Phobos was even a thing Hydaelyn told them that they're the unknown factor so maybe they do something to change the future, maybe they don't. Hearing this Phobos continues on with the intention of pretending to be Deimos if it became to late because maybe Emet didn't see his brother and that's what led him down this path of grief. Easy to do since they look like Deimos save for their personal style and eyes. When the sundering happens and Phobos ends up being the one to push the unsundered into the rift they speak to Emet as if they are Deimos and as far as Emet knew that was his brother who's last act was to save him and express how he has faith in Emet to lead the people onward to a better tomorrow. It is a very short moment but one that feels needs to be said, as Phobos would much rather let themselves be forgotten or never known if it means helping more people.

Sib's whole start of story is her running away from home to a place where no one knows who she is, and she intends to keep it that way as much as she can. So in an effort to keep her high born status under further secrecy she changed how she dressed, her hair color, and even her accent, along with opting to never disclose her last name. She wants to be known for who she is behind the title and she does a damn good job of it with only a few people knowing for sure who she is (Minfilia, Thancred, Urianger, Y'shtola, Lyse, Count Edmont, and Aymeric, Estinien and Alphie after HW), until you get to EW and she kind of has to let it be known. Even books of the future that G'raha read never made mention of her Lady status.

Its imperative to her to have some kind of outside identity as she doesn't know who she is outside of being a Lady and she knows there has to be someone there she just can't find her and she definitely won't find her if everyone treats her a certain way because of her status or she gets ratted out to her parents because her mom was offering up a nice reward for bringing Sib home. The goal was attained, she finds who she is and is all the better for it.

How people find out though at different times of the story are as follows:

The og Scions (Minfilia, Thancred, Y'shtola, Urianger, Lyse, Tataru, and Papalymo) know because her mother sent a letter asking for their help in locating her as a hail mary i am determined to find my daughter one way or another kind of deal. While it's not made a priority, they keep a general eye out, with Thancred finding her and letting Minfilia know. By that time though Hydaelyn was letting it be known to Minfilia that Sib needed to stay with them and not go back home, so she wasn't sent away and didn't make it a deal to acknowledge it.

Alphie, Count Edmont, Aymeric, Haurchefaunt, and Estinien find out because Count Edmont thought her face familiar looking, which it was because there were posters making their way among some high society with Sib's face (yes her mother went overboard) and really put time into confirming Sib's identity when he saw her and Haurchefaunt get close because it would ensure a higher status for his son that couldn't ever really be more than a bastard. Basically knowing that her parents would grant him that title of Lord more officially and so he sent a letter inquiring to her mother on if there were any engagements or anything Sib ran away from and to make arrangements to wed the two. It did lead to conversations with Aymeric about it, and it was during a dinner that it was brought up around Alphie and he found out that way. Alphie though didn't want to believe it because she certainly didn't act like her title and that's his friend, she surely would tell him. After more thought he understood, and frankly kicked himself a little for not figuring it out sooner since there were obvious signs the entire time. Estinien found out because once finding out that Sib had befriended Aymeric her mother sent the man....so many letters asking him to take her daughter's hand in marriage. Estinien heard the grumbling from Aymeric and took some time out from his travels to go to Thavnair and attempt to strong arm Sib's mother into stopping her letter writing (it didn't last long).

By EW Krile finds out a bit first because Sib didn't want to make waves right away in Sharlayan so she tried to switch out paperwork so it had the correct information on who she was to save the hassle of "Why did you lie on your identification?" that probably would have ensued. By the time you get to Thavnair and its after the Tower of Zot when you get the boxes of talismans that everyone else that wasn't in on it finds out, because her mother was not letting her daughter leave Thavnair without seeing her parents and so she held a box hostage to make her come to dinner. Gig was up she had to tell them all that yes she's a Lady and she had been the whole time, she just never thought they'd ever end up in Thavnair so didn't say anything. Ali still has a hard time believing it until getting to her house and its kind of hard not to believe it at that point. Raha was thoroughly confused as to how that information was never recorded anywhere or that no one else put the two together. Demos also feels a little bamboozled cause he should have known and its like the one thing he kept missing in his observations with her. Everyone thought that man was in on it from the start but he wasn't and kept accidently turning a blind eye to it all.

The only other person to know who Sib is and her identity from the start was Godbert Manderville, and that is simply because he and his wife had attended some of her family's parties as she was growing up. So he knew what she looked like even with the dyed hair, but he understood why she was hiding. His son would have known if her hair hadn't been a different color other than its natural purple.

Okay so actually there is reason to my whimsy. I have very specific temperature headcanons for the DCA, and it's generally due to being a solar or lunar model. It just is my own little teehee, but I'll list them out from hottest to coldest (I'll even include the AUs (and mine), and also the computers bc they're modeled after DCA.). Degrees are in Fahrenheit.

Also, this post is gonna be fucking long. The temperature reactions are based on a human reaction, for reference of just how hot/cold it is.

115 and above: Extremely hot. It would feel painful to touch almost immediately, risking burns with prolonged contact. Kronos (Lord Eclipse)

110: Very hot. It would feel almost painfully hot, like touching something straight out of a hot bath. Francis - Helios (Dark Sun)

105: Very hot. It would feel very hot to the touch, and uncomfortable to touch for too long. Eclipse - Dawn (Swap Sun)

To specifically answer why certain animatronic's outward temperature doesn't change, regardless of if they are powered off, overheating, in a freezing environment, etc. Yes it does have to do with their composition, which might be affected by magic or even star power.

Lo and behold another piece of old art of mine done for Valentine's Day last year

So I decided to post this little sketch of mine, of yet another OC for the stories with Arts-Of-Metamoor (@artsofmetamoor) for our projects! In fact it was a random character we created in the fit of a moment for an Alternate Universe of our story but he became so beloved as an idea that we even consider making him canon anyways even if his story would have a completely different ending for the original story rather than the AUs!

So, ladies and gentlemen, lo and behold Viriato!

Appearance: Viriato is a Shifter, belonging to one of the very few teams and clans that exist nowadays sprawled all over the kingdoms. He belongs to some of the Desert clans originally. His people excaped Phobos's regime and lived the best way possible in the deserts away from both worlds, Naga and Meridian ones.

Viriato is a tall, well-bult man, with very long (like all Shifters) brown hair and rare eyes in two colors, one eye being honey-brown and the other green. He is usually seen wearing simple yet colorful clothing (focusing still more on practicality than elegance) and he usually keeps his hair loose with some braids in it, decorated with simple beads. He also completes his appearance with simple ear cuffs and often some bracelets. Like almost all Shifters he has tattoos.

Personality: You can get Caleb's hot-headed attitude, his interesting sense of humor and his cheesiness along with righteous attitude but also add some flirtuous behavior with a small dosage of sweetness and you probably get an idea of what Viriato's personality looks like! Viriato is open in his mannerisms, a joker to everyone and to himself, has a strong sense of justice and a playful attitude and a wisdom hidden under the layers of his apparent immature attitude. He can also be very sweet and caring to the people he knows.

He can be stubborn at times and worst thing of all he can be very jealous. He is capable of having the greatest attitude in the world and show the greatest deal of self-confidence but when it comes to love, he is capable of becoming really insecure and jealous especially if there is a person he really cares about

Skills and Abilities: Viriato like all Shifters can change his form and suck upon vital energy. He is also an expert to the tecniques of his people. His prefered method of battle is hand-to-hand combat and close range weapons (although he has practiced them all). He is also a very gifted singer and a very good actor for theater.

Viriato has some special detail about him that doesn't make him very popular around his people; he is homosexual. Homosexuality although not completely hated among Shifters, it is still a bit frowned upon. Viriato has though come to understand that the people of his village often are more awkward with him than anything else. In fact he has the humor to contrast and even have fun with the situation. He has shown how to turn an awkward opinion to a fun story.

In the AU story, Diego survives the war and when he discovers the return of Phobos to the castle, he decides to leave the capital and manages to reconnect to his roots and find some Shifters. There, he meets Viriato, and eventually falls in love with him, in which he finally discovers the way to "get over" his obsession with Caleb and move on from his unrecruited love and learns to embrace even more the brotherly affection he already had for Caleb. This time his love is returned.

Viriato's name was suggested by my friend @artsofmetamoor inspired by an ancient hero  and Leader of the Lusitania Tribes, one of the ancestors of the Portuguese.

Other names considered were Amadeo, Amado, and Amaro but they got rejected due to the fact they were pointing too much towards the loving side of the character and we needed something of a more mouthful.

"Amado" was kept as a "nickname". The other people of the village tease him for his love for Diego and call him "Amado" which means "loved" in Portuguese. Diego steps in and uses the name as a loving nickname for his partner.

Originally Viriato was created on similar measurments and behavior as Caleb, to point a reason why Diego became interested in the first place but it was the differences that make Diego fall for him in that version of the story.

Viriato in the original story plays a different role, the role of teacher in various parts of the story we are creating

Viriato's voice was inspired by the anime character Nezumi from the anime No.6 as well as some of his attitude:
