"I always wanted my friends to call me Gerry."
He never stayed in one place growing up. He could never bring himself to stay in the surface world. He stayed with Gertrude, as long as he could, but even that was lonely and dangerous and terrifying. And he never trusted her. He never trusted his mother. He never knew his father. He never had anyone he could rely on.
The last person he would ever speak to... and he finally decided that he'd found a friend.
Just... rest.

i know dovquez is supposed to be the nice comfort ship or whatever but its even better when.. it is not.
and here i go rambling because
i’ll never be over dovi being So possessive and going all like ducati is mine nobody is going to take it away from me and. never settling for anything LESS really. dear petty impossibly stubborn possessive dovi. And. marc being haunted as per usual but not in a desperate and nostalgic way more like. i’m gonna be the most annoying brat you’ll ever met in your life and its gonna be even worse than any on track criminal offense bc you’re not acting as you should and im not used to it and this is pissing me off bc i cannot really control it so i’ll make you go grey right at the temples just to see how long it will take for you to reveal yourself and fucking explode or something. hate me. bruise me. ruin me. anything. and dovi isn’t pleased with it because he must be tired of playing by someone else’s rules. and ruin him he does.. but in a different way.. bc its dovi and he got all of the aces up his sleeve. he just knows how to make marc crumble, taking him by surprise bc nothing is ever predictable. not merciless but undaunted i mean. relentless. he knows how to put marc back under him in some swift, unprompted moves.. keep him there on a leash eventually, tightening or releasing it just when its needed.. so that nobody can take marc away from him anymore…

thinking about mtt literally physically dragging eachother down and being restrained to eachother because theyre genuinely that fucking ass for eachother but then it means i'd have to decide which of them to humiliate by putting a collar on them. and i can't choose. if they dont all equally suffer than whats the point man 🙁🙁🙁

Anyway, if you aren’t Black don’t use any variation of woke. I don’t care what conservatives are calling fuckers/using as the new sjw/political correctness/what have you.
If you know what fuckers mean use what they mean, and if you don’t why are you copying what people are saying?
Woke ain’t for you. If the discussion isn’t about Black people being aware of and/or educating other Black people about racism/antiblackness/structural inequality/all the other bullshit then it doesn’t need to be used in the discussion.

marc marquez letting an italian pass him at assen? *insert here a generic joke about rossi being mad*
had marc been a real hater he’d take off the wheels and win by 16 seconds riding only chassis after receiving a tyre pressure warning
a sequel to phillip island 2003, I like it conceptually
this is his problem. (giving him a pass this weekend, see you after the summer break.) he's not enough of a hater these days, he needs to find his way again... he needs to remember some of his best work is fuelled by spite... I remember his misano 2017 where he simply refused to lose that race after those italian fuckers had gotten his head hot... he knows this is how his brain works, he can channel this, he's seen the script... misano 2019, let's not forget, he'd just lost two back-to-back dramatic last lap duels... sure, he might have been walking the championship with insulting ease, but he still had something to prove... and what does he do? he stalks the yamaha riders on friday. in misano. he comes out on track during saturday qualifying ahead of dovi and valentino, decides to dawdle and let them past. and then he jumps on valentino's rear tyre. in misano. in the first year in which valentino just wasn't an on-track rival any more he had any real competitive reason to fuck with. but had the intention of using valentino to go faster. in misano
and then he gets super mad about the resulting drama and ends up snatching the win in the subsequent last lap duel against the rookie brat who is way harder to be a hater of!! that was proper hating, like that was a weekend long masterclass in hating. man touched down on italian soil and had a mission
anyway unfortunately I do think it's harder these days, like you can't just do that to any italian? what's he gonna do at assen, get all heated up when fighting diggia - a man I regularly forget does actually have a proper vr46 link now courtesy of riding for their team - for pee five? back in the day, he did have the decency to only ever finish behind an italian at assen when one of said italians was valentino (on three occasions, '13 '15 '17)... he used to show some respect for the narrative... but y'know some good old spite probably really would help him in weekends like that to keep it together a bit more. he's got to get something going with pecco for his own sake. in assen he probably never had the pace with all the spite in the world... next year, we'd better be cooking something special

Thinking about geto because I want to pour milk on him and throw him against the wall. Imo his beliefs are inconsistent and self serving (which makes sense because he developed said beliefs at age 16/17 while his mental health was at an all time low). Because while he seems to have the primary motive of "only sorcerers = no curses" taking into account how he treats Maki, who has no cursed energy, it shows that the "no curses" thing isnt the main focus- bc while he decided on tbe "forced evolution" thing, theoretically he should not be Opposed to ppl w heavenly restriction bc. They still fuckin. Don't contribute to curses from what I can tell. Also heavenly restriction is pretty obviously something that is punished by uh. Is it just the Zenin's who have it. Anyway they hated Maki and they Hated Toji so he clearly isn't standing for "oppressed sorcerers" bc if so Maki should be like. The kind of person he wants to help more, as someone who would be oppressed by ppl who aren't sorcerers as well as the powerful clans.
Anyway. While getting rid of curses is for sure part of his motivation, as well as helping sorcerers (see Nanako and Mimiko) id honestly argue that his main problem that lead to him spiraling was. How do I put this. Being knocked off a pedestal
Because he was one of 3 people given the ranking of "Special Grade", and he and satoru are grouped as "the strongest". And consider that satoru comes from a powerful clan and literally has some weird omniscience and invincibility shit going on so that's a whole fucking. That's gotta be a wild ego boost, especially for someone who comes from a family of ppl who aren't sorcerers. Like you spend all this time being a fuckin weirdo and then someone finds you and it turns out you're actually incredibly special and strong, given the same rank as a fucking God Child? You're gonna have some wild self perceptions after that
Anyway then you get to watch your invincible friend get stabbed, watch the girl you became friends with and feel shitty about kinda ruining the life of get shot, and get your whole shit rocked by some guy who can't even use the magic power bullshit you have. (Though he's got a whole physical thing going on because of the trade off)
Also writing all of this out actually makes me understand the Cult Leader progression more, like besides the fact they killed ur friend and you want em dead. You're probably struggling with your ego (especially since your weird God like friend got a whole power boost from the situation) so you create a fucking eugenicist cult where you can consistently prove your superiority to yourself (surrounding yourself with people who will agree with everything you say).
Anyway in a similar vein I wholely believe in "a loving father is not inherently a good father" Suguru + Nanako & Mimiko dynamic
Final thought is roughly I feel like looking at Suguru thru the lense of "this character had a level of privilege that they felt they truly deserved, and after experiencing events that are genuinely traumatic and horrific for any person, they develop reactionary beliefs to try and regain a sense of superiority and control" rather than "oppressed minority who killed oppressors and wants to do eugenics"

The big question here is Bangalore going to be as big a fan of Crank as he is of Andy? Juno xx
Mmm, Juno, this is such a good question!
For the new folks - Bangalore is the Arsenault family's famously large and selectively friendly cat - he's a big ginger who's probably part Maine Coon and very grumpy about everything, and they named him Bangalore because he looks a tiny bit like a tiger. (Listen, her brother George was small when they named him. It's fine.) He's very standoffish with nearly everyone except with Vivian, whom he tolerates more than everyone else, and seeing how the cat reacts to you is a bit of a scratch test for new friends and acquaintances.
Bangalore loves Andy - he actually sits on his lap during their first meeting, which he never does with anyone, and purrs like a damn engine. (I love this drabble so much.)
I think Bangalore and Crank have a much more casual relationship. Crank gets headbutts against his leg, and Bangalore lets Crank give him head-skritches and hisses at people for him. (They're running on the same level of grumpy, to be honest. Kindred spirits.) Crank also has to…work through some things, after the war, about cats - things he probably has to explain to Vivian at some family shindig after he's exchanged one too many agitated glances at Bangalore and maybe tossed up his lunch. "I ate some things I'm not proud of either," Vivian says. "It was a different place - and it was them or you."

Who did you think would win in a battle?
Wyatt Halliwell or Hope Mikaelson?
Definitely Wyatt Halliwell! Mostly because I haven't actually watched a single episode of any of the Vampire Diaries shows yet, so I have no idea who Hope is. (The main character in Legacies, I think?) (Don't worry, it's on my to watch list, my watch list is just really long atm.) I will say though that Wyatt is gonna be my answer for most situations. (Also thanks for the chance to do a little meta about Wyatt and his powers.)
From an objective standpoint in regards to powers, Wyatt wins against pretty much anything. I've said before and I'll say it again, I believe that Wyatt managed to break the Grand Design in the unchanged future with the exposure of magic, and I think that means he was able to kill some beings that he should not have traditionally been able to, aka the Cleaners and maybe even the Angel(s) of Destiny. (Which also loops into one of my now favorite headcanons that prophecies are made as a warning that a witch capable of breaking the Grand Design is coming.)
The catch, and how I'm able to write Wyatt in literally any conflict in my next gen fics, is that he has a critical weakness: he is terrified at the possibility of what he's capable of. (I have also mentioned that interpretation before, in connection with how Billie unintentionally makes it worse.) That kind of power is a lot for one person to handle, and Wyatt outclasses quite literally everyone around him by a large margin. I think that in a sense, his own fear serves as a kind of limiter on his power because he won't use them to the fullest extent. This is partially because he doesn't fully know what he's capable of because he doesn't experiment with his powers or push boundaries the same way that Chris does. While Wyatt has that kind of power, he lacks a greater amount of control and precision because he doesn't practice.
In a situation where Wyatt does go full-out, however, I think that he wins, no question. It's incredibly rare for him to do so, but one of his primary powers (projection) is a version of reality warping, y'know? That's not even getting into the fact that he has energy waves that can flat-out incinerate enemies without even trying. The challenge is getting him to a place where he doesn't hold back.

I am gonna say something controversial and yet so brave. Tew is a better mafia boss than Kinn ever hoped to be. Tew is far scarier and I'd rather cross paths with Kinn cause I'd stand a better chance.
I can hear you screaming so let me explain:
The reason Guy is far more intimidating is because he has people he wants to protect, he isn't afraid to go see people more powerful than him and play the role he needs to play, and also his go-to isn't to shoot someone dead to prove he's powerful to others. He will injure you just enough for when you come back, the threat you are hurt again lingers in your mind and you stay in line. Can't control with reasonable fear if your actions are unreasonable and the person you're trying to control is dead.
