a/n: spent longer on this than i would like to admit so sorry for the lateness of this ask hehe includes general headcanons and some dating/romance ones. These are in no order and are very much random! All hcs are just ones that i thought of on the spot and went yeah this is them. this might get updates to it and i'll try to make an announcement of some kind if/when i do cw: none, maybe ooc?, not proofread!

General Headcanons:

I think a very common head canon everyone has for Venture is that they're autistic and have ADHD and I very much agree with that notion

once tried to smoke a cigarette only to choke and cough after taking one puff of it, refuses to ever try a vape or cigarette after that

was not popular in high school. Venture was a part of the 'weird kids' but was friends with a few of the more 'popular'(the students that were in AP classes and most people knew vaguely of)

was one of the students who came to school in an inflatable dinosaur costume for Halloween

had an emo/skater phase! Venture's grandmother still has pictures of their phase and shows them to Venture like 'remember when...' Venture definitely has a look of absolute terror on their face every time it happens.

Doesn't mind their name Sloan but I definitely feel they prefer being called Venture more (more on this in the romance section)

Really good with makeup. like Venture is so good with makeup that it's a little alarming

with the makeup hc in mind, Venture was an art kid in middle school who would draw characters from musicals

Going through your blog convinced me to reread the trials of Apollo again(I haven't touched the series in what? Four or three years?) I started the hidden oracle like twenty minutes ago, but I can't help to notice that... Yes, Apollo is very self-absorbed, arrogant and egotistical, but now it feels like a self-defense mechanism more than anything. Growing up on Olympus couldn't have been healthy. It's a family where the chance of receiving any kind of positive reinforcement is close to zero. Zeus certainly doesn't care about his kids, Hera hates half the council for being illegitimate bastards and the rest of them(except Artemis) didn't have any qualms with betting on Apollo's life. The only reliable sources of love and kindness for him must've been his mother and his twin(and we do know how fiercely loyal he is to them). What I'm getting at is that, by convincing himself that EVERYONE loves and adores him and that he is PERFECT and FLAWLESS, Apollo tries to shield himself from the pure apathy of his family and the cruelty of his father (There's also the matter of being a literal subject of worship and devotion that must've played a big role in inflating his ego but being a god, that's to be expected) Arrogance, like anger, is too often a cover, a shield for deeper emotions.

I still have so many thoughts about this but most of them are gibberish rn

What if SEA! Eclipse turned into a cat /silly

Ah yes, the most important question of all /silly

It'd happen as an accident obviously, and no one but him would realise what was wrong. All the other researchers would panic, becuase researcher Eclipse is fucking gone and we're all going to be fucking murdered.

Someone, probably some clean-up person or guard, would try coaxing this randomly appeared red, black and gold cat with the weird gold eyes and the funky fur lining the head into a carriage of sorts so it can be taken away and studied. Eclipse wouldn't be impresses by it, and would dip.

He'd obviously aim for the family room, even if halfway there he realises that one, he can't talk, two, he's a cat, and three, his family has no reason to believe it's not just some random cat. He's at least aware Bloodmoon wouldn't attempt to attack him, because Sun really loves cats. Aside from that, he's in the dark. But he can't exactly think of anywhere else to go.

He'd probably still be an animatronic, but with artifical fur and all that niceness. He's still in great discomfort, because this is not his ideal kind of deal.

The reactions to a random cat showing up at their doorstep, followed by a panicking guard, would not go down well, especially when the family learns Eclipse disappeared.

Sun'd pick up the cat though, forbidding anyone from harming the precious fur baby. He'd take one look at the unusual cat, and fall in love immediately. That's his kitty now. He'd cuddle it and snuggle it and make ridiculous outfits for it and give it treatsies and play with it and bathe it and- (Someone please get Eclipse out of this one! Something is clearly more wrong with his sunny uncle if he acts like this!)

Moon on the other hand would want the cat, if only to study it a but because that thing was in place of his nephew who disappeared. He doesn't plan on hurting it, he just wants to take a quick look at it and see if he can glean anything from it. He'd obviously be barred from the cat because of this. (Eclipse really tries his best to get to him though, yowling and crying despite his pride whenever they're separated. Eventually he gives up, because he's ignored and dismissed as a silly animal)

Killcode would not take the disappearance of his kid well, he'd be mostly out, trying to get him back with his magical expertise. He also doesn't trust the Foundation to do this without him nudging them. Whenever he's around he'd give quick pets to the cat that reminds him so much of Eclipse for some reason. (Eclipse is not amused, especially because these are his attempts to communicate he's here, thanks, someone get him to Moon please)

Bloodmoon would not attack the strange cat that fleed here. They'd attempt to do the same things they do for the other cats, and they're flabbergasted when the cat refuses the extra food. Clearly they're doing something wrong! So they sit back and observe. They notice how the cat seems to gravitate towards chocolate, and despite them knowing that's poisonous for cats, they indulge the little thing. They're incredibly happy when it warms up to them, rubbing against them with loud purrs. (Look, Eclipse may be in a cat shaped body, but some things just don't change. He also deserves a reward for putting up with this bullshit)

Solar Flare's first act would be comparing the cat drawing Eclipse started and they finished to the cat that's now in their room. It'd be kind of freaking out over the similarities. But it seems to like them, curling up in his lap and purring whenever it scratches behind its ears, and they're just so tentatively happy to have a cat that likes them, it's kind of worried it'll scare the kitty. (Look, Eclipse needs the quiet it can offer even as an animatronic. It's only natural he'd come to it more now that everything's louder)

Lunar likes this strange, funky looking cat maybe a bit too much. But what can he say! It's grumpy and red, so it might as well be Eclipse! The cat seems to like that name too! And if he does it to mask his growing fear and panic, well who's going to know? (Eclipse is crying. They're literally referring to him by his godfucking name, and they still don't get it. He loves his siblings, and he loves Sun, but by god, are they really dumb sometimes! The only intelligent people are either A, kept away from him, or B, staying out and coming back late and tired and thus basically useless)

The biggest surprise for him would be how he understands the cats now. He's a little freaked out by Tux's apparent word domination dreams, and even more sure Midnight is brainless. He'd keep away from them, a hard task once they realise who he is, and they start bugging him about how they should change their treatment once Eclipse is back to normal, because clearly, them not getting snacks constantly and having a cat whistle is bad. Eclipse just smiles and nods, then escapes.

Once he turns back to normal, by the grace of Moon going to Killcode to tell him his suspicions that their missing family member might be closer than they think, he's entirely unamused, unimpressed, angry and humiliated. So is everyone once they realise what happened. Moon is smug for weeks, while Sun can't even look his nephew in the optics. His siblings all suddenly have trouble with that too.

hello! hope this doesn't come across as imposing. was wondering how long it usually takes for you to finish your custom hairs depending on length and how detailed each style is with their unique strands and swatches. would you interest in recording tutorials as well? If not do you have a link to a video where you learned how to make your colors look like that. I really like how there's dimension to your pieces!

tysm! it takes me like a week or so. i get a reference pic (i have a whole Pinterest board just for that), then i draw a more simplified/stylized version of it either in Clip Studio Paint or with the annotate tool in Blender so it's easier to mesh. like with drawing, use a reference, simplify it with larger shapes first then add details later (just something i like to do). as for colors, i use gradients and i have a PSD file with just my custom swatches for easier recoloring. i honestly just took a few swatches from simomo's palette and made some adjustments to match my personal hair dye collection lol.

Hi! Thank you so much! It may come as a surprise for you but I still have not mastered anatomy. I follow certain teachings and tricks to make my mistakes as unnoticeable as possible. I recomend you to practice a lot. I recommend you following Chuan Bin Chung's YT channel. he´s a taiwanese god in all anatomy related, I don't understand a word says but I learned a lot just by looking at his process.

Also use Pan's gallery on Pixiv, the account is a treasure of all kinds of poses and all come in different perspectives too.

And last, follow Taco1704's IG, they give the best advice in specific details, they make everything look better.

Another random thought

Would Tengen try to take fem Genya on the Entertainment district mission?

I see it going one of two ways

1: Tengen trying to but getting stopped by Kanao, the butterfly girls and the boys (and getting beaten up by Sanemi for it later)

2: him knowing she’s Sanemi’s sister and not doing it because he doesn’t have a death wish

What do you think?

I feel like tengen would absolutely do it and for a couple reasons.

1. Sanemi has insistently denounced Genya as his sister, explicitly stated by Mitsuri in season 3, with that, and with there allegedly being no blood or emotional connection, Tengen would not see taking Genya as a risk to his bodily safety.

2. Tengen is extremely confidant in himself, he’s a well honed warrior, in a 1V1, I do think Sanemi would beat Tengen, but Tengen would still be able to hold his own pretty well at his prime and also he wouldn’t explicitly know what he is going up against when it comes to Sanemi methinks.

3. Tengen also explicitly states he cares more about his wives first thing first than anything else, he even orders them to prioritize themselves over anything else if it comes down to it. We can see when he’s alone and in brief moments he’s scared and worried for their safety, even if he did have some concern for how Sanemi might react, he would still think “I’ll deal with the consequences later” because his wives are the only thing he truly cares about.

That’s not to say Tengen wouldn’t care about the well being of Genya, he did with the kamaboko squad, but still, not nearly to the same extent.

Now for how Sanemi would react I struggle with coming to a conclusion because.

1. He has again completely denounced the notion of having a sister, and to maintain this he has to appear as unbothered by what happens to Genya or what missions he goes on.

2. To do that he can’t blow his top and possibly have some rumors of his reaction get back to her and give her hope

3. It’s also corps illegal to fight members lmfao.

But Sanemi is still Sanemi, he is protective, he is worried. He is scared, his baby sister went up against (technically) two uppermoons and the RLD district is completely gone and pretty much everyone almost died.

So I think there would be a confrontation between Sanemi & Tengen, but probably not much of a physical one, I think his main priority would be seeing Genya for himself and making sure she is more or less okay, like how he went and checked up on Genya after S3 in the light novels.
