okay. ive decided im going to discontinue the jirou x reader fanfic "wrong number, my bad" for a number of reasons that i will get into in a bit. i have also, however, decided to create an smau for hawks (probably not, but who ive decided on for now) x reader, based on something more personal about me. the goal of the story being more personal is to give me a better layout for how it should continue on and the feelings can be more genuine than me making up stories on a whim and hoping they work. i will give out the plan for wnmb, however, so that anybody interested can still understand how the story wouldve ended.

now as for why im abandoning wnmb.

1. i dont feel the energy to write it anymore. i dont like where the story is going, and with my current mental state and status at school, i dont have the ability to start over or try again. i font have the ideas for the story and just dont vibe with it.

2. mental reasons. i can't stick to the schedule i made for the story as well as i used to be able to, and also personal mental health reasons that sort of keep me from doing so.

3. there are personal life reasons that cause this, but jirou has slowly evolved into somewhat of a discomfort character. i dont want to get into the reasons as to why, but i dont like her that much and bad memories come up whenever i try to sit with her in my head for too long.

last ooc post because i do feel bad constantly posting with no writing to show for it but this counts as headcanon of sorts, a very sloppy one but still one to keep in mind for those who ship romantically with meeeee!!

the cinematic parallels between how both my zeldas (sky and alttp) is *chef kiss* poetic fucking cinema. LET ME EXPLAIN!!! First though, ugly headcanon banner to show that this post is legit!

I’ve only mentioned this a few times with a few people, namely Bear and Legend but ALTTP Zelda, though she has a habit with bottling up her feelings all for the name of being a dutiful royal all while maintaining her usual placid attitude; Princess Zelda is still very, very emotionally intelligent! What she does is not exactly healthy bottling up every thought but she doesn’t have the luxury of allowing herself to freely speak her mind at the cost of losing points with the public, ya dig? So, it takes a while for her to fall for someone mainly because she’s at war with herself in figuring out all of these emotions and what this means for her status (SINCE PRINCESS ZELDA SEEMS TO HAVE A THING FOR NOT ROYAL PEOPLE MAINLY WHOLESOME IDIOTS AS WE ESTABLISHED AT TELESTHISIA.TUMBLR.COM MANY TIMES HWEOH) it’s not that she’s dense, she’s well-aware of romance but she doesn’t know how to deal and lacks courage in confronting her feels. Once she breaks that whole bottling up habit, that’s where the fun begins because my girl is all like “you know what? i love this person! i love them, and i will show them” because again high emotional intelligence and ALTTP Zelda is a very, very loving girl. All Zeldas are as a matter of fact but ALTTP Zelda is someone who likes to show her affections through actions rather than words. So expect constant hand holding, hugs, and kisses! Her boldness plays into the whole “yolo” mindset she has a the result of being surrounded by death constantly as well as Limited Lifespan but like, that’s a whole other can of worms. More or less, enjoy the time you’ve got and love like tomorrow will be your last! 

NOW WITH SKY AKA MISS. SHOUJO PROTAG OVER HERE, HOOO OK!!! The fun thing about the beginning of Skyward Sword and Sky Zelda in general is that it gives me the vibes of cute, wholesome, shoujo tropes we tend to see! I’m talking cute, playful, plucky girl next door vibes who has an amazing bond with her childhood friend, Link. For Link and Zelda of that game it can be played as either romantic (very strongly implied) or not for those who don’t like the ship! So, I more or less took things of how this Zel acts on her feelings from the beginning of the game as well as her emotionally maturity and growth as a girl who comes to term with being a mortal goddess. I feel like Sky Zel also has great emotional intelligence! But it’s not exactly on the same level as my ALTTP Zelda, who had to grow up fast as the result of her environments and duty. On top of that, Sky Zelda is someone who wears her heart on her sleeves, she’s very much an open book where you can read every thought through both expression and whatever actions she makes. She’s very funny in that regard because of how easy she gives into her emotions, even post game it’ll take her time to let logic take control over emotions when it comes to decisions. So when it comes to love she’s actually very shy in expressing that. Mainly because it’s all new territory for her. Romance isn’t something that she experiences all too often and like my ALTTP Zelda it takes her time to fall in love HOWEVER unlike my Princess Zelda she doesn’t at first understand what the hell all these fuzzy doki, doki feels are. Like any other Shoujo Protag she’s just like a blushing mess and becomes quite shy and cute. 

This little shot where she’s playing with her hands as she shyly asks Link to go flying as she does the anime “neeeee” in this cutscene will always be the cutest god damn thing to me!!!! I’m getting off track here point is, it’ll take her a while until she comes to that Love Realization moment and until then she will be shy in expressing her interest because she has no idea what the heck she’s doing hence why I always go “haha jk unless” joke with her beCAUSE THAT’S LITERALLY HER! As for showing affection? Lots of “I love you!!!” And junk like that, pet names etc etc! Flirting but like with Meaning™ to it rather than it just being playful banter that doesn’t mean much. And very much someone who’s having their first love! It’s cute in other words! 

As for the Sky Zel post game would she be the same? Yes and no... she’s far more melancholic because she has retrieve her memories as Hylia and like she has a lot of guilt to deal with as well as constantly worrying over Link and how the Skyloftians will react to living on The Surface along with the Triforce and etc etc. She has too much on her plate so love will be a super slow burn in that verse too. Wowie!

Here’s a cute thing to imagine that’s super unrelated: Sky Zelda making a list for her first date and how things will go and ending it with a kiss BUT EVERYTHING GOES OFF PLAN AND SHE’S STRESSED!!! 

In short: Slow Burn is a def a thing not just because I love me some slow burn but I feel with their characters it would work better than something like love at first sight! But they are still very loving and I believe it’s worth the wait ;v; so if you’re ok with the wait then welcome to hell to my future shipping partners! hi friends!!!! this is something i’ve been wanting to do for a WHILE and i got an ask about it and i’ve also been really needing a rewatch lately so it’s all worked out for me to start this tonight!!!

i’ll start off by saying that i am,,, someone who listens to music literally multiple times a day every day, if i am alone and it’s possible i am listening to music, and i’ve played music for about 12 years so it’s something that’s always been extremely important to me, and something i noticed very quickly with druck is that the music is....amazing??? it’s all perfectly picked and helps the story flow so well?? and since i loved it so much i went into the matteo playlist on spotify and made my own 2 playlists from it (i was asked to drop links so i’m dropping links):

1. songs from druck that hit different

2. soft druck hours

and i listen to these playlists....every single day, so there are some songs i’m extremely familiar with from this show and some i’m not, but i will analyze all fairly!!! (i am gonna mark my faves with a ** though cause i have to share my opinions) my analysis will sometimes go off lyrics but will mostly more go off the vibes ya know?? vibes are important with music!!!!

but enough of that....here are my Thoughts™️

turning me on - it was very smart to start the season with a song that builds like this, and is obviously a party song cause they’re at a party!! and the way the music mixes with the way they edited the characters, like they sped stuff up to match the beat of the song (best example is when kiki and sam were like....there’s no other way to it than smacking their boobs together i’m so sorry) and then when you finally see matteo sitting alone the music gets super muffled for a second?? and you can really tell that he just doesn’t care about what’s happening around him at best and doesn’t like it at worst, and then when he’s dancing with sara you can start to hear party sounds over the music, and it kinda seems like it means that matteo is out of his own head a little and back into the party and not his own little bubble anymore, and you can finally start making out specific dialogue when matteo actually goes into the bathroom to talk with the boys

**how have you been? - i feel like this song and this whole scene kind of set up two specific aspects of matteo very quickly and very well: 1. he’s probably goin through some shit cause his room is a mess and covered in beer bottles and clothes, and 2. he is a very soft, sweet boy who is obviously pining over his best friend, and with the softness of the song and with just the absolute LONGING on his face when he plays with jonas’ hair??? like my dude my guy you can tell this twink is just FULL of yearning!!!!! there’s also so much that can be said about the lines “i woke up and it didn’t go away” like that could be referencing matteo’s depression, him trying to repress his sexuality, like we don’t have time to unpack ALL of that!!! also gotta say matteo noticing the girl’s number on jonas’s arm as the lyrics “will you not think of me tonight” are sung is.......kinda heartbreaking, bro, but in that very specific gay pining over your straight best friend way

**nothing else - so this song doesn’t play for super long but i can vaguely talk about the lyrics??? so it starts off with “you don’t want to be rich like everybody else does / you just wanna grow old sit still while everybody else runs” which could kind of be a callout to matteo’s apparent lack of motivation?? and his feeling of kinda being stuck and just going with whatever happens to him?? and like how his friends are doing well in school and seem to know what they want to do (fast forward to matteo talking about being annoyed when he’s asked what he wants to do after school) and that general feeling you get when you’re depressed in school, ya know??? on a happier note i feel like the line “i like you just the way you are” is a kind of foreshadowing the whole “no, you’re good the way you are” line which just....absolutely slaps ya know??? like that shit is breathtaking bro

heaven - okay so first of all the way this song starts of so soft and slow and stays soft and slow is a very good foreshadowing for davenzi’s relationship i feel, especially the beginning of it when they’re still both kinda deciding if they want to push past their own specific “baggage” and pursue the other, like all the super cute awkward flirting and just how painstakingly slow the almost kiss was, so much of their relationship is just so slow and gentle and sweet and soft and this song really hits on so much of that!!!! even during the peak of the song it’s quiet, but with so much force and build up that you can tell that something important is happening, and it’s at its loudest when they look at each other but even THEN the music is so gentle and just beautiful and kinda hopeful honestly?? it has a slight energy behind it, especially when the song picks up later (which isn’t played in the show) but that part has a lot of just good energy behind it, i think it was like,, the perfect song to start off davenzi’s relationship tbh!!!

bullet - okay so the fact the the first note of the song plays just as david smiles fully for the first time and the second note plays just as matteo smiles the tiniest bit back at him (cause he’s already crushin HARD you can just tell) is really just *chefs kiss* absolute perfection!!! and then it keeps playing and it’s kind of sad as david walks away, and right after matteo says “i think that’s somebody else” the first lyrics are sung, which happen to be “these ropes they tie my tongue” which is an obvious reference to the fact that he’s fucking GAY and is just so scared to say something, but now he sees this new boy and is like haha jk.......unless???

• he seems like he enjoys general mischief but when it comes down to like... idk very stereotypical evil thingys™ he's not into it. but still bad boy but just... likeable bad boy who mostly likes to inconvenience people because thats funny. probably would've been generally decent if he wasn't gonna die for it. maybe. • "let's ride off into the stars together like lovers haha jk...unless? actually please im begging you"

• angel food cake is like... sweet but also asshole.

• like idk seems to have a bit of a disconnect (and some sort of "above this" complex but all of those loser angles got that) but like, at least he's not as bad as the rest of the creepy skybox cult. he’d probably be so much better without them. otherwise he's a nice southern pansy. • it made me sad the last time i watched it when i realized that only after he literally gets rejected by the presidential speaker for god does he turn to his best friend like... that gives me so many mixed emotions. ugh :(

• their character interactions were my favorite though even if they tried to tear my heart out but jokes on you i dont have a heart >:) • im mad that they didnt hold hands >:( let them hold hands dammit. it's not gay if you say no homo first.

• toad man and chameleon guy are like "lol we don't trust anyone" but are just... always hanging around eachother. • haster is ridiculous he's definitely lost it it's great. his screams. just. there are no words. crazy man.
