Hi 👋

First of all, my heart goes out to all American citizens who hoped, voted and fought for a different outcome. We live in very surreal and scary times and I just wish you all lots of strength and calmness for your minds 🍀🤍

Now on to some other, hopefully uplifting/interesting enough things to get your mind of things - maybe not all sweet ones, since I grabbed them from the top of my head so to speak and searched for the sources afterward, yet I hope they provide a little bit of distraction:

tiny little fact I love: Richard is actually a proper country boy. Eventhough he was born in the city of Wittenberge, he lived up until he was 7 in the german countryside in the little village of Weisen, which according to Google has 997 inhabitants. "That was a beautiful childhood with alot of nature, cats and dogs and a big family with two siblings."

as the most memorable (or miserable) jobs he ever worked in, Richard listed the following: window cleaner (since he suffers from vertigo), making shoes and selling them, going through an apprentinceship for becoming a cook and cleaning for an old lady who had stuffed poodles in her apartment.

if he could timetravel, Richard would choose to visit the period of the Knights Templar, 11th century, since he feels rather drawn to this history era.

a little fact about Richard and the gifts he gets from fans to his door step I think about regularly with mixed feelings: "I myself got a rose on my doorstep every day for years. Sure, it's nice - you always have roses at home, but there are so many unpleasant feelings involved. For a while, someone always left cigarettes in my mailbox. My brother always had to smoke the first one!"

Richard took singing lessons with a coach who also worked with Mick Jagger. Said coach scolded Richard a lot due to him smoking right before class - in one interview Richard mentioned he was so intimidated by that coach that he was ready to call his parents to pick him up. But he went through with it and worked a lot on his voice, which became quite beneficial for his singing.

Apparently, the idea of the infamous Flake-stew during "Mein Teil" came from Richard, who then actually was less than enthusiastic for his own idea: "I had the idea of Flake being cooked in the pot, then I realized, the first time we actually did it onstage, that it was too convenient, just stupid or not even funny, whatever. So I said, ‘I hate it’. But by that time, the rest of them had done it and loved it…"

The band actually considered various names before they settled for 'Rammstein': Tempelprayers, Mutter (mother), Milch (milk), Erde (earth).

A well known fact or rather, legend, but I think about it a lot: Richard recorded the whistling for 'Engel' it true chaotic composer fashion, namely while he was taking a bath and was struck by creativity. The band apparently didn't manage to record a better version, so his version was used for the song.

some song recommendations by Richard - these were his favourites back in 2009: 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails, 'Baby I'm gonna leave you' by Led Zeppelin, 'Sin City' by AC/DC and 'Personal Jesus' by Depeche Mode 🎶

This is my ‘X Finds Out His Value’ OC! C is a dark blue variable ‘C’ who goes by she/her pronouns. C has heterochromia (Meaning having 2 different colored eyes.) 1 blue eye and 1 black eye. C has a very light cyan/teal-ish tongue color.

C also has an special star anklet on her left ankle. She has a star hair-clip on the top of her head which has 2 drawstrings as decoration like a hoodie. C has a sharp tooth in her mouth to chomp on things easily.

C appears to have no arms but only floating hands. Her hands can be able to move away from her if someone pulls her hand far enough from her body. In total, she has 6 eyelashes. 2 on the bottom on the of her left eye, 1 on the top of her left eye, 2 on the bottom of her right eye, and 1 on the top of her right eye.

Her eye sclera is slightly tinted blue but it’s still a little noticeable. You may use the asset I provided, just make sure you credit me! If you want to remake the asset, you can! Just tag me at @itznotcamiyt so I can see!

Be warned, they're all God of War fics as;dfkjsjd; So, in no particular order, here are my five fav fics I've written! c:

Never, Never Again - short fic, based on events that happened in GoW: Ascension (love that game tbh), detailing Kratos's imprisonment under the Furies.

From Beginning to End - a two-shot comparing Kratos's first and last interaction with his daughter, Calliope. Wrote this while being an angst ball at 3 AM lmaoo.

The Prayer - another short fic, vaguely author insert. With his newly attained godhood, Kratos finds that he can hear the prayers of mortals. Wrote this while I was going through some medical stuff a few summers ago.

To Endure - a Kratos/Faye fic. Even though it has been years since he last held them in his hands, the Blades of Chaos have left their mark upon Kratos. Faye is there to help him through it. This is the first GoW fic I ever posted.

To Survive - one-shot that takes place after the events of GoW 3. Kratos awakes after his suicide attempt and makes his way North. This is technically the first GoW fic I ever wrote, but I ended up posting To Endure first lol.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Meat Loaf in rocky horror picture show, The Scorpion from the devils carnival (the hairstyle in particular), team yell’s Fat Boy Swag™, and the overall fashion and attitude of the psychobilly scene. One of my favorite things about pokemon is the gimmick characters with pun names, I thought it’d be funny to make an electric-type specialist named after joule units. Geddit? Greased lightning?

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Outside of being a big stinkin gearhead? I think he very casually styles his pokemon from time to time! Doesnt think much of it, he just enjoys hanging out with his lil buddies and often finds himself spiffying em up by default. It’s one of those hidden talents that’s so hidden even he isn’t aware of it

🥊 - What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

I can’t think of very much Jules hates, he’s not the sort of guy who vocally dislikes much at all. The only thing i can imagine him saying fuck no to is desk work lmao. He’s a mechanic because he loves keeping busy, he needs the noise and sparks and excitement. Ask him to calmly sit still and focus on papers and watch him lose his mind just from imagining how boring that’d be

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

FUCK okay so jules is TECHNICALLY my oldest oc of the bunch, i just changed him up to fit a new fandom. Believe it or not my man used to be a steven universe fangem i made as a sweaty 15 year old, then he went through a whole bunch of revisions before I settled on what he’s become now. Unfortunately (but also thank fuck) i dont have the first scribblings id ever done of him, but here are some early design concepts i bounced between while figuring out how he fits into the pokemon fandom:

Hello, Summertime writer's ask! 🌿 ☁️ 🌷 🍀

🌿Who is your favourite character you've ever written?

My favorite canon character that I've written for is Lucy Chen. I know that's not a unique answer in this fandom, but I've always felt more connected to Lucy than the other characters (which is perhaps why season 6 hurt so badly - Lucy could not catch a break the whole season!).

My favorite non-canon characters that I've written are actually real people - Freddie Freeman and Jason Heyward. They're baseball players on the Dodgers in real life and in my baseball Tim story. It's been interesting to learn more about their real personalities (from what I can glean online) and put that into their characters in the story. They actually are really good buddies in real life and have been for 10+ years since they played in the minors and with the Braves (and now Dodgers) organization together.

☁️ WIP you want to write but haven't started yet

I have what I would consider a humorous one shot that I jotted down partially one day on my phone while I was on vacation. For now, I'll just say that it's tispy Lucy (pre-relationship/post-Vegas) calling Tim for help. There are some Saved by the Bell references, a confession or two, and Tim has a hard time getting Lucy under control.

I know I've been doing this writing thing for 9 months now, but I'm still a bit surprised at how many people want to read my stories. And I get the most amazing comments from my readers. I absolutely love that people are willing to take the extra few minutes to write something back to me after already taking so much time to read my long-winded stories. Plus, 425k words posted in just 9 months? That's more than I ever thought I would do. Between my work, my 4 young kids, my gardening, my traveling, and all the other things I do, I don't know how I have found the time to do it. But I'm so grateful to those who have found and read my stories. I'm certain I wouldn't keep doing it if no one liked them.

Still continuing with Folktale Week, AND since it’s Wednesday – time for another “Tock the Gnome” world building post, dear readers/followers/etc 💙 With this prompt in mind, today we are looking at some more specifics on the Selkies of the realm….

(They being one of my favorite parts of the folklore of my heritage 🍀)

….. Sidenote: I believe there is absolutely Story here too, perhaps with the Gnome having been able to somehow visit the sea on an expedition of her family’s airship company, and the Selkie having surprised her there, after she took the shell. And in that taking, perhaps something is bound between them – not necessarily romantically, though that is how I lean – and shenanigans ensue, with both people, and their peoples, ending up a bit wiser about each other in the end. Perhaps I will get to write it someday.
