Felt like drawing something for myself for a change! Have a handful of coin doodles.

I also have some personal headcanons of the two and how they interact and I prefer thinking of them as separate characters.

Like for convenience, Nickel from II go by Nic, And Nickel from BFB go by Kel.

More headcanons under the cut

Nic and Kel took a while to get along but once they warmed up, they make for a surprisingly great duo.

Kel is more honest with his feelings, but understands it less, While Nic deep down understands his feelings, but tends to be in denial of it.

The two can actually pretend really really well as each other if they tried hard enough. Often pulled for mischievous pranks Nic manages to convince Kel to do it with him.

Kel doesn't actually swear much, going for his usual long random word vomit, but when he does it's intentional. Which varies to 'because it's funnier' to 'because he's dead serious.'

Nic on the other hand, swears a fair bit, but on his more serious moments he seems to drop it out of vocabulary.

They hang out more often than others think they do. They deliberately hide it because of schemes Nic sometimes has Kel tag along to.

Coiny doesn't actually hang out with the two as a trio often, but they get along well enough. It's usually because they get grouped up because they're coins. To much of their annoyance at times. It did eventually let em form a bond with one another.

Coiny ended up adopting an eldest brother role and with Kel enthusiastically playing along and already acting like the little brother role, the two essentially forced Nic to the middle sibling role. Nic warms up to it eventually but will never admit to it.
