Dagny waited for their new arrivals with the rest of the girls, some of them were passing a ball between them while Dagny watched her phone, confused her girlfriend hadn't texted her.

A vibration makes the skipper look down and Dagny sighs when she sees it is just a new post from West Ham women, welcoming their new signing.

Flicking her phone open, Dagny lets out a call of shock at her girlfriend's face staring back at her, Mackenzie laughs, having known about the transfer and spins her skipper to face her girlfriend.

y/n was lent against the tunnel entrance, the new signings of Riko already talking to others with her translator. y/n looked fantastic in the hammer's shirt and Dagny could feel the breath leave her.

How hadn't she known, how hadn't she'd guessed? All the hints obvious now, her Hammer puns, her change in colour for her wardrobe.

"Ertu búin að ná þér, ástin mín?" y/n asked her girlfriend with a chuckle.

The skipper sighs at her girlfriend and moves forward the two meeting in a soft kiss, still aware they were in public. The sound of gagging echoes.

The two pull away and turn to the team who are all mock gagging and y/n rolls her eyes before Mackenzie grins widely and runs at her happily.

"Macca!" y/n laughs as the woman scoops her up tightly and spins.

"Skipper's mrs!" Mackenzie yells and there is an echo of laughter.

"No ring no mrs!" y/n yells back as she is finally placed back on her feet the rest of the team coming to greet her.

Dagny only smiles softly at her lover before the group are called away ready for training.

"You're here." Dagny hums as she takes her girlfriend's hand softly.

"I'm here." y/n reassures as they join the group.

Dagny: Well... that's not an entirely bad idea." Skaadi: "And if we run the booths while Ivar's in class, he'll have nothing to say against it!" Dagny: "And then he and Varg will have to help us build the greenhouse!"

He has chronic insomnia so this is the norm for him.

Depends on a lot of things but mostly he'll just get on his phone and browse some apps, watch a movie or a show, go on YouTube.

He's also been known to read a book. He always has some in every room of the apartment so there's always something to read.

A lot of times he gets frustrated just laying in bed so he'll get up and go watch some tv or play video games.

Go to one of the other rooms and masturbate to see if he can tire himself out enough to go back to sleep. Doesn't usually work.

If it's around 5:00 in the morning he'll give up and start making breakfast for everyone, then goes to brush his teeth. Usually makes himself an iced coffee and reads or plays a game until it's 6:00 and texts the others that he made breakfast for everyone. If it's Ayo's feeding day he'll feed him, then he'll take Dagny and Sasha out to relieve themselves and goes for a jog with them. By the time he's back most are awake and at his apartment waiting for him so he feeds Dagny and Sasha and takes a shower, usually Angelus is awake at this time so they shower together and meet up with the others to eat some breakfast.

When I started reading I assumed (maybe b/c of a passing comment in Taylor's narration about the climate) that it was in between NYC and Boston. So CT, RI, or Massachusetts' South Coast

In a later chapter of the story some commenters mentioned IRL Brockton so I went "Oh i guess it's that"

But eventually I looked at a map and realized that IRL Brockton isn't on the coast.

These days, I'm partial to putting it on the NH coastline, short as it is, just b/c I think it's amusing.

I think the closest real world match is probably Providence, RI -- it's somewhat large (1.6M broader metro population), has a large-ish port and lots of industry, (somewhat) milder climate than Boston, and a prominent university. IDK if Providence is mentioned in the text of Worm, maybe we can imagine a straight up name-swap? Otherwise as dagny said it's...pretty AU to add another big metro anywhere along the New England coast. But not something that shatters my suspension of disbelief, personally.
