Nathaniel Carello: their situationship. They are intimate, share sexual innuendos even in public and act jealous; but when it's time for a serious talk Nathaniel always finds an excuse to avoid it and Mél always pardons him. This situation has became more tense after Nathaniel discovered Méline's affair with his mentor Eric.

Castiel Velmont: their best friend and meta-partner. They have always got along well, making a duo of bickering troublemakers, and their love for Lysander brought them even closer. Possible LI.

Lysander Ainsworth: their boyfriend at high school and later husband. Their relationship has been rocky since the start, due to their different attitudes towards life and believes, and they first broke up when Méline started University. But even distance hasn't been capable of extinguish the flame... Love interest.

Kentin Lehray: their ex-best friend. After the Moondance drama, their relationship was clearly beyond repair and Méline started avoiding him. They have civil, but limited interactions.

Armin Keenan: their friendly acquaintance. They get along and chat about common interests, but the bond they share is not deep. Méline is much closer with his twin Alexy than with Armin.

Priya Diwani: their best friend and old crush. Méline never confessed to her and when they realized their love was reciprocated it was too late. Both moved on and they are close now, even if they still often fight.

Rayan Zaidi: their ex-fiancée. Méline doesn't like talking about him and their heart still bleeds for the end of this story.

Hyun Sonho: their friend and old fling. They were friends-with-benefits at University, but Hyun wanted a type of intimacy that Méline wasn't able to give him. They talked it out years later and they are on good terms now.

Dajan: their basketball teammate at high school. They didn't really hang out off the sport club.

Kaylo Crescendo's Court of Children

(This is a DIFFERENT Kaylo. Not the one from my Balan Wonderworld stories)

So, I had this idea in my head for a while now, and it involves Kaylo, and the idea of her having a court, since she's the ruler of a kingdom. This however is no ordinary court. This consists of various children from throughout the Multiverse. So, I'm gonna list them out here.

Rules of the Court:

Any Child that joins the court MUST be at or under 16 years old (it's the Court of CHILDREN. Not teens or adults.)

The only people that know about the Court HAVE to be close to said Child (parents, close friends, family) other than that it's a complete secret (at least from mortals)

All kids in the court must take the "Immortal Promise" (A special pinkie Promise like ritual that ensures that a child freezes in the aging process. They can not, and WILL not age, as long as they have this promise

I will be putting Named Characters only in order of how they appear on the page (except when its multiple of the same character I’ll put them together), and then in order of final price when that is settled. Also as a little treat, for each wave i’ll calculate the unnamed character that got the highest bid (like Ham Dog), and put the lowest that a mini sold for.

UPDATE (11/14): The first “wave” has happened! Turns out they showed all the ones they were going to do at once, but are auctioning them off in 2 waves. This first one was 11/7-11/14 so it just concluded as I write this (2am 11/14)!

Fun Fact: Robert Moses and The Juicy Cockroach sold for exactly the same amount. This is because capitalism is vermin.

Observation: the average price per mini is about the same as acoc, but the bigger names (PCs, fan favs) have way lower prices than the acoc ‘big names’ - I don’t think any acoc PC went for under 1000, and fan fav npcs also had 4 digits for the most part, some even 5. not to say this isn’t a LOT of fucking money being thrown around - stephen sondheim alone is like. MONTHS of pay at min. wage

My hypothesis (11/14) is:

A. a crown of candy has been starved for content for longer and gained more of a cult following. tuc got a season 2! their fans are well-fed, and it makes a difference in how they interact with the story.

B. the novelty of the idea to begin with - it was the first time the auction happened, and no one was sure if it would ever happen again.

C. a lot of the tuc characters have multiple minis. All the player characters have at least 2 versions of themselves, and this is the first wave. I hypothesize that when the bidding is for the last Pete Conlan mini available, things will get pricier.

D. acoc was a much more........emotionally draining campaign. tensions ran a lot higher bc of the PC permadeath and serious nature of it all. Not to say tuc isn’t emotional or serious, but like. acoc hit Different. More people wanted that fuckin carrot dead than anyone in tuc season 1 at least.

E. related, and probably not as much of a factor, but tuc is at its core about destroying capitalism and empowering the working class, while acoc is all about the upper crust of society. maybe the hardcore fans tuc attracts have less disposable income bc they see themselves represented by the predominantly middle to low-income characters? that could be utter bullshit but it did cross my mind

Abel caught his breath, fresh from an early morning run as he waved off the guards that followed him-- a necessity nowadays that even he can’t argue his way out of. The men were thankful for the respite and the consigliere continued on the garden path. The Millennium Park was still a neutral territory, but unlike last time, Abel stayed away from the usually congested Cloud Gate and went straight to the Lurie Garden. And not Priya Sinclair either, it seemed.

He looked around, hand slowly reaching for the Beretta Pico concealed around his waist, but when he realized that she was alone, Abel stood down, if only for a moment. He wasn’t sure what to say, or if he should say anything at all; her younger sister had just been murdered and the loss of a family member was always heartbreaking, but she was a Sinclair and had this been a year or so prior, there would be no need for comforting words.

“You won't find it here,”  Abel finally remarked. “Whatever it is you’re looking for.“ Priya Sinclair would not find solace in the gardens, and if her guards were nowhere close, then she might as well be on her way to meet her sister.

BREAKING NEWS: Morgan Sinclair has been arrested, charged with kidnapping.

After spending the last few weeks on the run, Morgan Sinclair was located a few hours south of Chicago in what appeared to be an abandoned home. Chicago police have been looking for Morgan Sinclair since a series of disturbing tweets were posted to his social media. 

Morgan Sinclair was charged with kidnapping, a serious offense that’s punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Prosecutors are hoping for the maximum sentence. 

Priya Sinclair, publicist for the Sinclair family, gave an official statement:

“Members of the press, thank you for being here today. 

For those of you who do and do not know me my name is Priya Sinclair. 

On behalf of the Sinclair family, my family, I am here before you today to address the news of Morgan Sinclair’s arrest and eventual sentencing for the crimes committed against Ezra Costello. 

Morgan Sinclair was the only member of his family to take part in this haynes crime. The actions that he took are inexcusable and the Sinclair family does not condone the violence he took out on a member of the Costello family. 

We would like to at this time extend our heartfelt apologies to Ezra and the rest of the Costello family for all that they have been through. We cannot begin to make up for the emotional and physical damage that Morgan has caused you but we hope that this arrest and the knowledge that Morgan will be punished for his crimes will allow both families to once again live in harmony.

The Sinclair family cannot in good conscious stand behind Morgan Sinclair. It is why as of today at 6:30 am, all of the Sinclair business are under new ownership. Penelope Sinclair will take over as majority stakeholder in all of the family’s businesses and effectively strip Morgan Sinclair of any titles, properties, enterprises and wealth he may have accumulated. 

Morgan Sinclair, should you ever hear or read about this in the news, the Sinclair family has wiped their hands clean of you and asks for you not to contact them or go anywhere near them.

Penelope Sinclair, unlike her husband, will usher this family into a new era where no citizen of Chicago nor member of either family has to fear retaliation for events that have transpired. On behalf of Penelope Sinclair, I’d like to extend an invitation for an open dialogue between the two families where both parties can work together. 

I will not be answering any more questions at this time.

Ezra wasn’t entirely sure if this was the best idea - it was the first real event he’d been to since the accident (honestly his not sure what to call it? Kidnapping? No, he’ll stick to accident). A part of him just knew this was going to be a splendidly awful idea. However, he’d spent the last week in Rockford, blissfully recuperating from the dramatic events that had recently washed over the city. He hadn’t planned to head back to the city quite to soon - but the Hawthorne’s invite had thrown him off - he’d completely forgotten about the annual event. It was as usual a whose who pissing contest like everything in this city was. As easy as it would have been to skip it, Ezra wasn’t going to give the Sinclair’s the satisfaction of thinking they’d gotten to him so bad he’d miss one of the biggest events of the year.

Drink in hand, Ezra scanned the room. He was sure his siblings were running around somewhere up to no-good. He held back - they couldn’t always be attached at the hip - they had to give each other some breathing room. From the corner of his eye a blonde - or really a blonde wig catches his eye. Priya’s dressed as bloody Margot Tenenbaum, he laughed under his breath. Good one. Hey who didn’t like a bit of Wes Anderson. The irony of it all wasn’t lost on him. A wave of emotion rushed over him then. He hadn’t seen her in so long... it felt almost like he was seeing her for the first time all over again. His brain and heart wrestled for a moment - logically there was a chance, a good change that Priya had known her father’s plans and she’d gone along with it. But his heart... his heart didn’t want to believe that could have possibly been true. 

(Don’t go over there, his brain said.)

Before he could even think - he was walking towards her. It looks like his brain one that battle - but there was still the war. 

“Where are your cigarettes?” He asked her, referring to the fact that the character she was dressed had love for the things. He bit his lip then. “I have to say I like the blond, but nothing beats your killer red hair.”

For the first time between them there was an uncomfortable silence... an elephant in the room- “can we go somewhere to talk?” he asked.
