tl;dr family emergencies are killing my drive to write

While I have the presence of mind to do so, I just wanted to give a slightly better explanation for why my activity has been pretty skewed (again.) My grandmother has been very sick with two forms of cancer for a while now, but as of this moment it's all but assured she is not going to make it through the rest of this week. On top of that, work has been screwing me over again, which has made it difficult to visit her, so that has had me even more stressed out.

I just found out that apparently, some people think that "—" usage means AI writing? I use it all the time. It's pinned on my clipboard, along with ❝❞. If I'm feeling too lazy to retrieve it, I'll use "--" instead. I don't use a single "-" for thought breaks and the like.

Take this post as a promise that I will never, ever use AI writing. Not to supplement, not to generate, not even to proofread. I wish I didn't have to say this, but with the climate the way it is these days... nah, trust and believe me when I say some of this takes me actual days of effort to put out. A computer could never.

It doesn't matter how quickly a person responds to a roleplay. If the story is engaging enough, you can take the time, and any response given will be well worth the wait.
