idk man been sifting through my feelings on all this. and i think what it comes down to is i don't really care/mind that there are non-canonical (BY DEFINITION, if it is not IN the media, it is not in the 'canon', and this info was in tweets) statements about Lucanis' sexuality being demi/ace/him being a virgin. and i'm glad for people who like to incorporate that into their headcanons about the game/interpretation of his character and expand on that more than the game itself does, like, this is our space now baby do what makes you happy!

but personallyyyyyyy i just do not think these new labels are some magic bandaid that solves the flaws in the pacing and writing of his romance. Lucanis never talking to Rook about his feelings as they get to know each other (but sure is willing to talk to Rook about his feelings for Neve if you don't romance him) is not solved, for me, by saying "well he wouldn't be attracted until he got to know you and also has no experience with sex". the same way calling it a "slow burn" did not solve this for me. especially because right up until release he was being advertised as a "bisexual mess". but now was secretly a "panromantic demisexual" the whole time. it just... idk. you can say anything you want online, you know? but if you don't Show Me... well. i also don't like that people who are saying 'well this was Not part of his story in the game so i don't see it' are getting labeled as anti-ace when like, many of the criticisms i am seeing are coming from people who are themselves demi/ace lol. it's not asexual representation bc it is not in the game itself. (though honestly. i AM glad that that was not jammed into his story arc, and that his quests were about his agonizing over his family and the fact that he's now bodysharing with a demon. because his writing was never going to get MORE lines, and to take away any of the ones he had to put in a sexuality arc beyond an offhand mention would have really crashed that because the existing writing barely holds together as is. like there just was not room to have more so personally i am not criticizing Mary Kirby for her decision not to add it. but you can't not add something and then also claim it's a definitive part of his character. plus i dont think a character needs to know/understand/use modern labels anyway).

and personally i DO prefer an awkward/fumbling Lucanis, to be clear. Before Veilguard came out I was never expecting the sexy antivan lover angle. we already have Zevran (who ALSO isn't actually that sterotype either, he has SO much depth), I didn't want poor-imitation Zevran, and bioware would not write Lucanis like that to make sure he is a more distinct character anyway. BUT i do think it's reasonable in a bioware game to expect that a romance is going to have romantic content--and the number of times after his cutscenes i literally said aloud "go girl give us nothing" after he failed to react to a flirt was pretty sad. If he's awkward and nervous give him a line where he stutters and doesn't know how to react, not just a blank stare and back to business, or whatever. Or a scene where you can literally ask "you never respond to my flirting do you want me to stop" and for him to say say he likes it but doesn't know how to reciprocate or. ANYTHING. Idk. I have seen 10 different posts/takes on how the Wall Lean Scene fits in, be it that he was imitating a romance novel or it was crow seduction training or he was just pretending because that's how he's seen Illario do it but at the end of the day. It is all just speculation because nothing in the game EVER addresses how wildly different the tone of that scene is from every other one of his romance scenes. And as much as i love the Sexy Wall Lean, given the rest of his characterization in EVERY other romance scene, i think I'm at a point where i think the romance would have been better served by cutting it out and having a different scene where you actually get to talk to him instead.

but! that is not the game we were given. we only have what we have, which is the Veilguard content by Mary Kirby, and The Wigmaker Job written by Courtney Woods (where for reference, he mentions stumbling into an orgy on a previous job, and having an "interesting" time getting out of that, so i already think we have 2 different interpretations of his character between them anyway). but yeah idk man to me "well he's ace" is not an excuse for either gaps in the writing or cut content or whatever was going on. because 1. HE IS NOT AN ACTUAL PERSON he is a storytelling vessel that i felt failed to satisfyingly communicate the entire romance story and 2. even if he was a person saying 'well in ace relationships communication sucks' would also be, not great, you know. everything beyond the text itself is just interpretation and headcanons

If that's the case the only thing I need from Infold is the Lads men crying at their respective weddings. 👀 Listen give me an ugly wedding dress, terrible cake, awful music, and terrible tuxedos for the men I DO NOT CARE as long as the men cry at some point during the wedding. Look I have a vision read for fluffy sugary Headcanons below:

Xavier:

- Look the wedding would be beautiful, some theme like under the stars! Complete with stargazing and finding constellations.

-I could see it being small and rather intimate.

-It's at night of course with paper lanterns, fairy lights and ofc Xavier will summon the same light butterflies from the Bonfire memory.

-but here is where the crying begins! MC walks down the aisle and she is stunning! A beautiful ball gown with a veil that looks like it has embroidered constellations and Xavier sees her and the Butterfly lights start disappearing because he can't concentrate with how beautiful she looks.

-Man keeps trying, but when MC gets to him she just mouths "It's ok." Then the waterworks start coming to both of them because he cries, she cries, we all cry dammit.

Rafayel:

-Ughhh beach wedding of course! Again small intimate except for when he summons the sea creatures to do a dance or celebration for you minus the seagulls he taught to sing because you said no.

-It takes place at sunset because the colors are the most vibrant with the oranges, purples, and intense blues of the night sky and ocean meeting one another.

-Of course he's giddy and excited he gets to finally see HIS bride.

-MC is stunning in a mermaid gown (of course) no cares are given if it drags across the sand because it's not about the dress it's about the love.

-You would think he cries when he sees her, but nope he blubbers when it's time for the vows. He goes first and chokes up at like the second sentence because he realizes and I quote, "He will no longer be able to call MC his bride, but instead his wife." Yes we all cry including the seagulls.

Zayne:

-It's in Snowcrest, I mean c'mon. Look you and Zayne saw the lights together, you want to visit Pie and it's a destination wedding all rolled into one! It's perfect!

-Look maybe it's in a really nice Hotel or maybe you all travel to the base of a mountain with family and friends and have a beautiful ceremony there and then turn inwards somewhere warm for the reception.

-Zayne is so chill about wedding preparation except for the cake, it has to be perfect. Can I be honest? I think Zayne only likes weddings for the cake.

-MC could wear such a pretty modern style dress, maybe some lace sleeves??? Ugh! she would be beautiful and Zayne would have the image of her ingrained in his mind and photos of this moment everywhere in his office I know it.

-Ok here is where I might lose you guys. Zayne doesn't cry at the wedding. He is calm, collected and has a smile on his face the entire time. It is when they get to their hotel/cabin where they start to relax. MC needs help unzipping the dress so Zayne is behind her and unzips it she pulls her arm from her left sleeve first and the light just catches on her ring. Zayne grabs her hand and just compares their wedding rings for a moment

-His lip quivers and he starts to cry. OMG he is married to the woman he's loved for so long! He gets to call her his wife tomorrow and the day after that? Of course he lets tears slip!

Sylus:

-The wedding can be anywhere and anything MC wants. Want to do one of the Ranches he owns, done. A restaurant that has been booked out months in advance, cute, he can drop money and they can do it tomorrow. In the Claw Machine arcade??? This man does not care!

-I think he wanted to put a ring on MC before Radiant Brilliance, but his teasing in that almost gave way to how he felt. 👀

-MC would stun in a tight bodied dress! Just something sexy and elegant that would make Sylus's heart race as soon as he saw her.

-Am I lame if I suggest Mephisto is the ring bearer?😭

-The only request Sylus makes for the wedding is to see MC first before anyone else gets to see her. A bridal reveal he calls it, he just wants MC to appeal to his slight possiveness . Totally not because he knew he would cry when he saw her. He did not want the photos to be too ruined by the redness that will happen in his eyes so obviously it makes sense for him to see her in private first get the emotions out then continue on with the day.

Caleb:

-You thought Rafayel would be the Groomzilla? Haha no, it's Caleb. This man has been dreaming about this day since he was a child. I am sure he's got some wedding planning binder hidden somewhere with him and MC.

-I think it's more likely to be Held at Linkon than SkyHaven only because he would want to do the ceremony somewhere meaningful to both of you.

-If it does happen in SkyHaven he would definitely have some fleet ships do something special for the day.

-He is so particular on the wedding being everything the two of you have ever wanted after all you both fought like hell to get here.

-Groomzilla Caleb I think switches from the charming boy next door to the Colonel voice when it comes to talking to wedding planners, bakers, decorators, everybody except MC. She is just excited to marry her Best friend. 🥰

-I could see MC wearing a Fit and Flare or an empire waistline dress, just something very romantic and soft. Also I don't see Caleb being that much of a control freak on what MC wears. I think he'd want to go to the appointment though and if he did he would have horrible taste in dresses. Bless his heart.

-Caleb also wants a private Bridal reveal because he wants to be the first to see her. Of course when he does he cries upon seeing her and she cries too.

-Once emotions are collected and make up is redone the Ceremony begins and everything goes off to perfection as Caleb planned until he saw MC walk down the aisle for the first time.

-This man cries again and then proceeds to cry throughout the ceremony and vows. Literally EVERY photo taken is him crying looking at MC.

-He is splotchy, kind of red and maybe a little snotty. His best man has to come in and give him more tissues because he is blubbering. Like get it together Caleb.

-Caleb is super upset and embarrassed that every single photo is him crying and he feels like he ruined the day for MC and apologizes about it a lot, but MC is just so happy she got to marry the person who knew her the most.

I feel like we're all aware of the headcanon that the Hooded Figure that leads you to your death at the hands of the Worm Cult, is actually Meridia - given the fact she has the same model and voice as the Groundskeeper and the glowy Meridia from Coldharbour.

But do people still remember the theory that General Gautier (Darien's dad) isn't a real person?

The fact he's always wearing a full face helmet, the fact Darien has few memories of his childhood and none of his mother, the fact they work together in close proximity in the town guard.

Darien himself isn't a real person - he's a creation of Meridia - so who's to say General Gautier (never given a real first name) isn't Also a fake person, likely a daedra with some sort of glamour to make people not question him any further?

two sidekicks who are UA 3rd years/just graduated and they're both girls and very competitive rivals who are very serious in their job and they both grew up admiring Katsuki's skills, passion and spirit when he's fighting so they want to surpass him (that's why he accepted them). But they don't really like each other and get annoying sometimes because they fight and argue a lotttt, like imagine they're in a mission and are arguing through the comms and Katsuki is so annoyed and face palming telling them to "FOCUS IDIOTS" but he secretly smiles because it reminds him of his rivalry with deku when they were young.

They also spent their 1st and 2nd year internships with Katsuki and he trained them soooo hard because he sees boys and girls equally and also saw so much potential in those two. that made them so happy (I'm assuming their society is still misogynist like it was during the sport festival)

You fully believe this character is or could be a regressor/cg/flip/something. There's bits in canon that you can point to and say that's why and there's reasons why they would specificially regress or be a caregiver! A headcanon or heartcanon.

For sillies. Feasibly, you could write ANY character to be part of the community! You don't actually think it would fit but you're either imagining it because you're fond of the character and there's just something about it or you're going through all the characters in your head an applying babification to them. I call these "regressorland headcanons" where you prioritise the regression over being true to canon.

Both are great Both are entertaining! But gosh it can be hard to get yourself to answer "do I actually think this would fit or am I just doing this for the sake of it/doing what i think could possibly apply"

Like when gingerbrave escaped from the witch’s hut he somehow get transported to earthbread, same with white lily cookie who also somehow got to watch the witch’s banquet and returned back to earthbread. Is there like some kind of portal between earth and earthbread?

1) To answer your question, yes, there are portals that link the Cookie World to the Witch's World. The most well-known portal is the First Oven, which is a direct link to the Witch's World from the Cookie World. Cookies that are baked by the witches in the Witch's World that end up in Earthbread are often baked in that oven. It's also how White Lily Cookie managed to see the banquet of the witches. Every thousand years, the cookies can use the portal there to enter the witch's world.

2) The Witch's Hut and the Witch's Castle are in the cookie world. The witches managed to make a portal the Cookie World that allowed them to travel there, so now they are able to have residence in Earthbread.

Does it suck that the witches who eat cookies decided to take up residence in Earthbread? Yes. But, they mostly keep to themselves and make their own cookies to eat, ao you don't have much to worry about there. (Ubless you're a cookie that was baked there. If so, good luck to you 🫡)

I haven't seen The TV show or the DC comics, but just the idea alone of these two being twins was enough to make me flesh out Michael's personality and the relationship between the two.

Just kidding : ) Michael wouldn't question Sera, he obeys orders with a morbidly unquestioning loyalty.

I imagine that Michael was the more responsible one, and would try to discourage Lucifer's ideas and dreams, but Lucifer tended to ignore him. Lucifer would cause some kind of havoc, and Michael would be the one to tell the angels. Luci 100% saw him as a buzzkill and a tattletale, and Michael knew his brother was a safety hazard with wings, but I think they still loved eachother.

Which is why it would both break them to have Michael be the one who battled Lucifer and forced him into Hell. Lucifer felt horribly betrayed, and Michael would have been trying to cope with the fact that he drove his own brother out.

yes, I do like them as a couple, I think it is an interesting dynamic and that Tami is good for him honestly, even though they lived completely different lives and crash so many times because of it throughout the last seasons.

fact is Lip won't ever change and will keep making the same kind of mistakes and she will get fed up with it eventually. they'll go different ways, maybe keep a somewhat friendly relationship, and she will get a new partner and Lip will have a Sean kind of relationship with Fred: that kid is the most important thing in his whole life and he's constantly hunted by the fear of drinking again and hurting Fred.

HEADCANONS - B.OOTH.ILL'S AGE

just a quick one bc i've finally made a decision regarding his age - and for clarification, when i say age, i refer to his actual years alive and not the 'age' of his body. obviously, since he's gotta be at least 90% machine from what we can see / what we know, he's not going to exactly age as normal, but i also believe there's a degree of preservation or at least something to stall the process of aging on his remaining organic parts, that was implemented during the process of becoming a cyborg.

as such, he will retain a fairly static appearance for many, many years, making it difficult to gauge his age based on looks alone. in the current present day, i imagine he's had his cyborg body for a minimum of ten years - possibly longer. he is described as a young man by the doctor who operated on him, so i would place him in his early-mid twenties at that time.

allowing for between 10-15 years since then, i place b.ooth.ill in the age range of 35-40.

given his beginnings, even he doesn't know his exact age (and never has). nick and graey made an assumption based on his size & development when they found him, but it could never be perfectly accurate, so there's no way to tell his exact age - just a range. they assigned him an age and a birthday (after learning he didn't remember either) and that was that.

visually, he still looks the same as the day he became a cyborg, and he won't correct people's assumptions of his age - because what does it matter? he's a cyborg. age is meaningless to him now.

ahh, don't mind me, y'all — i'm just thinking about how, in my canon, nico morselli (the doctor who blamore is allies with AND also is friends with but don't tell him that, shhh lol) was the first person that it actually learned to trust after it's transformation. and i say this because, in the first few months after it's transformation, it's nerve pain was actually even worse than it can be now. and due to how blamore's metabolism is different... nico felt like formulating a specific type of anti-convulsant for it's condition was the ideal option for blamore because there was a LOT of uncertainty around how much meds he should give it. so, in the meantime while nico worked on a drug that he knew wouldn't possibly O.D. it (man's also has some experience in biochemistry + he's also got a degree in that) those first few months were roughhh.

this is because he primarily used nerve blocks for it's pain which are actually injections that are given through the spine and as you all may know, blamore's spine is like a HUGELY sensitive spot for him. and so it doesn't let anyone it doesn't trust touch it + with this in mind, it didn't trust nico at first, but for an MD with some questionable patients (he's been the primary doctor of someone in the mob for years); nico actually seems to have his heart in the right place a good amount of the time because he comforted blamore every single time he gave him one of those injections 😭 because they never got any easier for blamore to take, and i don't mean nico just talked him through it, either. man's held it's hand and everything. and for that, he's a real one
