BEST EXPERIENCE : I made an incredible friend way back when through the rp community. We don't talk as much as we used to, because life and things, but we still catch up sometimes, and I'm always so happy to see them doing well in their career and craft. I love them and I always will.

RP PET PEEVE : It's the lack of patience and understanding for me. We are all people with lives and things outside of here. I for one will never go to someone like "You didn't respond to my thing" I don't know what's going on in their lives ad like... I do just disappear for a few days and I can take so long to get to my replies. It wouldn't be cool of me to bother someone when Im taking like three weeks to write a sentence.

PLOTS OR MEMES : Ummm... Depends on who I'm interacting with and their preferences. I do think that memes are a great and low pressure way to break the ice, but sometime if we're looking for something more than that we'll plot or lightly chat about the dynamic we're looking for.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Again, depends. Sometimes you need more words to get the thought out and sometimes you don't.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES : I suppose in some ways I am like my muses and I others, I'm not. I'm not as quick to trusting others as Caelum and I'm not as lonely as Juniper. But like we always put a bit of ourselves in our muses. Like I think I'm a very gentle and emotional sort of person and I have absolutely put that in both my boys...

I think Dick and Jason would have multiple “what the actual fuck are you saying right now” with Tim and Damian when it comes to quality of life/monetary differences. Sure, Dick and Jason got used to Bruce’s “is $100 a good enough tip on a $30 bill?” shit, but hearing Tim talking about a new laptop he bought for $5000 literally is like a punch in the gut.

If they ever went on a cruise (which they totally wouldn’t because cruises are floating death traps), Jason and Dick would be in awe of the fancy amenities, where as Damian would be unsatisfied with the quality, since he grew up with every single amenity known to man. Tim would just feel like it’s all normal since the Drake’s were extravagant and travelled all over the planet.

Crab Day

okay, so here's a new info post from the top.

the problem: tumblr is extremely extremely in debt. the current model is not profitable. this is why they are trying to turn the site into a shit clone of every other social media site, so they can attract new users and their money.

solution: not a ton of people can afford a long-term subscriptions like ad-free. however, many of us CAN afford $3 to inflict crabs on another unsuspecting user. (and those that can't, can still enjoy crabs everywhere)

the idea: in the grand traditions of mishapocalypses and goncharovs and tumblr users' obsession with [random inconsequential thing] Days, we create a fund drive/holiday on July 29th, dubbed Crab Day. buy your friends crabs. buy your enemies crabs. blaze posts. post memes. change ur icon. whatever. actually put your money where your mouth is and show @staff that there actually IS profit motive to listen to the current users about what we want this site to look like. (and yes, that means accessibility features too. we currently have zero leverage to demand these features. let's change that.)

i don't know if this will actually go anywhere. worst case scenario, a few of us have fun, tumblr gets a small amount of money, and nothing changes. best case though, we actually provide incentive to keep our stupid hellsite unique.
