welcome welcome one and all to me posting about my fic and welcome to my mailbox if you want to send me stuff you'd like to see in the fic (i will consider them even if they dont make it to the fic)

this is a band au for the marauders era BUT the original marauders are not the band. let me explain.

Band: Sirius, Peter, Marlene, Dorcas (no band name yet so shoot your shot if you want to)

the marauders era characters have a LOT of different roles here. Regulus and Pandora are dancers, Mary and Peter grew up together & met Remus in highschool in America and did music but now Mary and Remus are somewhat duo singers. (i made Remus southern you'll get why in the fic) Alice is kind of an enigma but we'll get to know her. I'll show you all her colours i promise. Evan manages Mary and Remus and has such a goofy big brother personality. MINERVA the queen that she is, is basically the band's mother/manager. fluffy black brothers!! oh, and andromeda is dead.

i know what you're thinking "where the fuck is james?? lily?? barty??" hehe WELL you're not gonna like this. lily is the villain here and not in a good way. it was a VERY toxic marylily and lily is the Casual girl (chappell roan) ANYWAAAY you're gonna see a LOT of that BUT she does have her redemption arc. i think. maybe.

barty broke up with sirius 2 months before the beginning of the fic (which starts on their american tour at the last couple concerts) they grew up together, its very bittersweet, might give you heartburn. AGAIN redemption arc, they do have a heart-to-heart.

and uhh james is a very happy very sudden very scandalous surprise

ch. 1

this fic in short is the band through their last leg of the american tour when mary flies out early and sirius asks her to join them for the rest of the tour and the european tour in a couple months. mary and sirius hold each other up through harsh breakups and slowly find new love. the marauders era do a lot of dumb shit make a lot of memories. exes come back and get dragged out, maybe-soulmates enter their lives and life happens all at once. but theyre still just kids and they have a lot of laughs

don't worry guys, every couple shall get their minute of fame

basically the journey (and reflective of a couple of characters) of their life together. they find love, they find FRIENDSHIP, they find beauty in the little things, they find laughter and peace and passion. this entire fic for me was to discover all the little things, the day to day things that makes life what it is: beautiful. it's filled with jokes and family and bittersweet memories. its those moments you want to remember when you're old in your rocking chair or young on a porch swing. its all the little bright places.

hi!! i'm reviving this account n actually coming back to it after moving most of my posting to twitter abt 4+ years ago.

twitter is just an awful hell now and one of my friends mentioned she uses tumblr the other day and it reminded me of how much time i used to be on here n i thought i should come back and gtfo of twitter

some things change so much: in the 4 years since i tailed off my use of tumblr, my life has changed a lot. i've gone all the way through doing a film course at university, i've learned a lot about myself and am doing soooo much fucking better mentally than i was in 2019/20 when i stopped using Tumblr as much, and 6 months ago i started HRT which is so fun! i'll probs post some of the work i've been doing over the next few days/weeks, but a lot of it is also at @/kimncamera on instagram

some things change so little: i am still poor lmao but yk we move and i am still so dysfunctional queen but i am learning more about dealing with that (meds 👀)

i've gone back and just mass deleted old posts, which is kind of to get a fresh start on this blog, and just to not be weighed down and reminded of my old extremely depressed-self (even though I still love her, she ain't me anymore xxx)

but yes please have some photos of things that i've loved over the last 4 years, and pls know that i am so much happier and better than before <3

Another announcement yet again

Two this week huh?! Probs not the best thing ever but yet here we are.

Tbh I don't think I have left too many things lying out unfinished I might delete one of my series and you know I was only one part in and not much attention either so no big deal.

I did post like a little peak of one but it's fine. That can wait or just never happen.

I have exams coming up soon and won't have any time to post anything but in fairness I feel like I'll be around here till the end of this month then I'll probably pull what I did from April to June but this time I'll probably be gone most of the time for possible 6 months maybe?!

I'll still be posting some fics if I have time. I'm about to close my requests because I won't have time. My exams are in January and then again in June and these go on my cert so this matters a lot to me.

Tbh some of my things don't even get acknowledged around here anymore so let me be honest this will be a small change to your blogging life.

I go back to sports in two weeks so then I'll be busy 24/7 and studying matters to me this year, a lot.

I've also been feeling really sick recently so this is not making anything better. I'm out of my hand brace and finger splints but still don't feel all nice and fuzzy.

Here's the real shit.

I have really bad anxiety. Like absolutely shit.

Over the period of my whole life I have ended up in hospital due to severe panic attacks and other issues.

It sucks how these things come back huh?

I was talking today with one of my friends Maria that last year was the worst year for me with my attacks but this year they seemed to calm down. In the month of September I would say I only had like 3.

I spoke about this to my doctor and she said maybe it's because I can do sports so I'm calm or maybe I found a better routine. Then why do I feel so shit on my day off?

I just had a conversation with a mutual and currently I'm legit on the edge like all this trauma and shit just flooded back and is sitting on my chest and yet I can't do shit about it.

Last year on the third of October someone passed away that was somewhat involved with me but that's nothing relevant to me or what I feel.

People on this very app ruined my experience at the end of last year and I was close to another attempt.

But right now out of September I only had 3 panic attacks that month I had 4 today and it's the first of fucking October.

Am I sobbing currently yes. I can't control it anymore. I don't want to have to keep on writing more as right now it doesn't please me.

My writing isn't so great in the first place. My first language was polish and I only started to get English properly by 8 so I see where my fics do not have the best range.

I really wanted to reach 1k followers by the end of this year but there's nothing to go off on anymore.

I will be online for a bit and I will be DM people I like to text but mostly don't be surprised if I don't answer too much. I'm not in a good space at all.

I'll probably be doing a bunch of rants on my blog and if you don't want to see it just don't read or just ignore.

I need the trauma to fucking go away but I'm shit at talking.

Hey so I just saw your post about writing about Alastor. And firstly I just wanted to say (As an Aroace person) that its really sweet of you to try and not misrepresent anybody.

Now what I'm about to say may only apply to me but this is my opinion on what you can do.

I personally see no problem with you writing Alastor in sexual or romantic stories because he IS a fictional character, and not a real person. However I understand your views on not wanting to hurt anybody or change him so here are some little tips.

Aroace people can come in different forms and styles (In a simple way of putting it.) Such as me, personally. I do not have the desire to be intimate with anybody ever or at all, or get into a romantic relationship with anybody. While others may be just Asexual (or aroace but we will just say Asexual for simple terms) and is willing to have sex and enjoy it.

Asexuals is defined by someone having little to no desire or feel the need to get intimate with anybody, however they can have sex. There are different types like acespikes and such but I'd just suggest sticking with the basics and to not over stress about it. Some asexuals like the pleasure themselves, while others may prefer to pleasure their partner.

I think that this is all I can really tell at the moment, because I have been aroace for only about 1-2 years now, but asexual for 3-4. And as said before, this is just my views on some info if you want some help, while others may feel differently, and that is perfectly okay.

So overall, I believe you should do whatever the fuck you want because its your blog and its a fictional character. But not wanting to misrepresent is also okay, and you can research if you want to. Or if you just don't feel comfortable writing stuff like that, that's perfectly fine and don't let anybody make you feel like you can or cannot.

I don't have very much figured out yet and alot of what I'm saying will probs change but basically the jist of it is; Wally pulled reader from the real world into welcome home and kinda forced reader to become another character for the show, if they do anything to mess it up he uses his powers to restart everything (basically happy death day, if you've seen that movie ;p) but you and him both remember everything. In the future I'll probably make a series where he jumps different AUs with reader and the other puppets.

Hi Storyshark! I'm a big Oasis fan and I think you're such a great writer! Is there any chance you would write more Gallaghercest "origin stories"? I always love to read about how it all started and like stories that are set in the early days of the band and before Liam even joined.

Did you ever entertain the idea about writing something that touches on the topic of why Liam's relationship to big brother Paul is so different to big brother Noel? I think it's quite interesting to think about what could have happened in their childhood and youth that made Liam crave Noel's attention and approval more than Paul's and made Noel more of a father figure to him. And I think anyone who meets Liam would be attracted by his beauty and charisma, so I think it's also interesting to think about how Paul reacts in a different way to it than Noel. And the topic of Noel feeling guilty of what he's doing to and how he's feeling about his baby brother is also always so interesting.

I've got a few ideas and WIPs going right now in the "Been and Gone" universe. It's just a matter of time and me focusing long enough to get the next one out!

Paul in particular is the story I'm probably most focused on. I was just working on it last night! I'll stick a teaser below :) But here's kind of a rough checklist of what I'll be trying to accomplish...

Gene POV - done! Summary: “The sins of the father are to be laid upon the children.” Falling down (2005 - 2019).

"A Week in Mustique" - multi POV, some shorter glimpses from multiple characters over the course of a family holiday in Mustique!

Paul POV - Paul trying to be his own man. Some possible romance with Katie. His complicated relationship with his brothers. Feeling outside.

Sara POV. - Set during and after Story IV. Honestly I had a whole thing for this, but story 4 turned out a bit different, so I'll have to mull this one over... but it'll prob flash back to Sara's upbringing, and also go into some of broke down in their marriage, which isn't JUST the Liam factor. (*cough* freaky fridays *cough)

Matt Morgan POV - A night out, late in 2022. Maybe a party to celebrate one of Noel's singles releasing. He finds out about Liam/Noel. Debbie brings him into the circle. We see Debbie stressing being the 'secret keeper'.

Debbie POV - Debbie finding the Liam/Noel thing more intense than maybe she’d thought, navigating where she fits in. The REAL start of the Noel/Debbie bit of the triangle!

Anyway here's a bit from "Paul" below the cut:

Saturday, 19 August 1978. Burnage, Manchester

“Eeyare,” Noel pokes his head in the door. He’s all sweaty, fringe stuck to his forehead. “What’s the score, our kid?” 

“One-nil to Derby. Charlie George, overhead kick.”

Noel’s nose wrinkles. “Gooner cunt. Can I borrow your guitar?” He nods to the corner behind Paul’s bed, where the cheap little Yamaha acoustic lay dusty and neglected.

“No.” 

“Well you’re not fuckin’ playin’ it.” 

“Yeah, and neither are you.” Paul adjusts the dial, swiveling from the commentary on Picadilly Sport, over to the BBC2.

“Whatever. I’ll just play it tonight while you’re out helping the old fella.” 

The dial skitters to a staticky stop. Fuck, but he’d forgotten. 

“It’s your turn,” Noel says flatly. “He’s got 32 Club tonight.”

He’s right, is the thing. Noel hadn’t come home last night till almost 3am. It’s Paul’s turn to haul the boxes of vinyl into the club, and then nurse a coke in the corner for six hours while Tommy DJ spins his tunes and then pisses away the week’s earnings on cards.

A sudden thunder of trainers pounds up the stairs, and Liam comes skidding into frame, crashing up against Noel’s hip. He’s bright-eyed and pink-cheeked, and just as sweaty as Noel, fringe split in half by a violent cowlick. He’s wearing a faded old ringer tee with Ernie from Sesame Street on the front that used to belong to Noel (and possibly Paul before him). 

“I want a Capri-Sonne,” he curls a fist in Noel’s shirt and tugs. He’s got grass stains on his knees from chasing Noel and his mates around the park. 

Liam’s a horrible little brother. Five-going-on-six, he’s lightning in a bottle, caught only just barely-- crackling and popping with a heaving, restless energy. He’s also a charming little fucker when he needs to be, which he never does around Noel or Paul. The church ladies and the aunties think he’s an angel.

Noel ignores the tugging and whining. Paul can see a fading bruise above his elbow where their Dad had grabbed him last week, screaming about some perceived slight or uppity attitude Noel had apparently been giving off.

“Hewitt nicked the Pistols record from Sifter’s. Youngie and Vince are comin’ over, we’re all goin’ round his in a bit for a listen.”

“Oh yeah?” 

“Yeah,” Noel shrugs. 

Liam butts his face into Noel’s stomach. Noel allows it, resting a hand on top of his bowl cut. Noel casts his gaze somewhere out the window, out to the clouds, barely invested in the conversation, or the little brother buzzing under his hands.

Liam gives another headbutt, drawing a scowl and Noel’s attention back.

“Fucking stop it--” 

“I WANT my FUCKING DRINK!”

Paul looks down at his scorecard. “Maybe after the match.” 

Noel looks up, distracted with Liam wrangled into a one-armed headlock. Liam has his arms wrapped around Noel’s waist like an obnoxious little squid.  

“What?” 

“I said, maybe I’ll come round after the match.” 

Paul’s not really planning to show up. He could go round Hewitt’s any day to listen to the album. And it’d be better without Noel there, anyway, talking all the way through. (Mister fucking McCharmley, was Noel. Hewitt had been Paul’s mate, originally.)

Anyway. Noel’s only asking ‘cos he knows Mam’ll ask him where he’s off to, and why Paul’s not going with. 

“Whatever.” Noel shrugs and turns out of the room, disentangling himself from Liam’s sticky grasp. “Liam, getoff--!” 

“I’m coming, too!”

“No you’re fucking not.”

“Noely!” Liam curls his fingers into the back of Noel’s shirt and tugs again, whining for his Capri-Sonne. 

“Get it yourself!” 

“Mam put ‘em on top of the fridge, I can’t reach--!”  

Noel groans but diverts down the stairs, and Liam gives out a joyous whoop of triumph.

Paul sighs, turning back to the radio. Halftime, still one-nil. He skips back to Radio 2. Which is when he hears it. 

Years and years and years later, Paul will meet this photographer friend who’s into fucking birds, of all things. Like...photographing them, and going on trips to find rare ones. This friend, she tells him about her ��spark bird’. Apparently, a spark bird is the first bird that lights the match in you, that makes you want to get up at the crack of fucking dawn and go creeping through a marsh for a glimpse of some rare South American ruffle-headed whats-a-ma-doo. 

Paul doesn’t give a fuck about birds. But he knows what she means when she talks about a spark bird. Because Paul’s always liked music, same as he likes talking to pretty girls, and the smell of brand new trainers, and Man City winning a string of matches. 

But something about what he hears crashing through the speakers that Saturday afternoon; that strange, hitching synthesizer bit in the intro; the fast-train staccato of Keith Moon up on the hi-hat, nervous like a racing heart; Entwhistle dancing patiently underneath, holding the rhythm down; Townshend’s carelessly cool, yet exacting and luxuriant guitar work; and above it all, Roger Daltrey’s relentless, fearless growl demanding an answer to the most important question that Paul had never heard asked before, by anyone, including himself:

Who are you? 

Who? 

Who?

Paul listened that day, and then bought and nearly wore out the single over the next few months, totally entranced and unable to answer. Anything he could have mustered seemed superficial, insubstantial: ‘Paul Anthony Gallagher, son of Peggy and Tommy, brother to Noel and Liam.’ 

And what else, the question seemed to beg, what else?! Give me something real-- who the fuck are you??

Make something of yourself, it seemed to say. Find an answer.

Years and years and years later, despite the fire burning in his belly to do something, be someone...he still doesn’t have an answer. 

‘The other brother,’ maybe. 

Anyway. Fuck knows. Maybe he’s nobody. Most people are nobody. They’re born, they live and they have a few dreams, and then they die with most of those dreams unrealised. 

That’s just life, mate. It’s not that tragic a story. ***

6. excessive ooc

Honestly... for the MOOOST part, I don't care about "excessive ooc". even though I tend to worry that I post too much ooc LOL. yes, ppl can have "personal blogs" to post ooc stuff to but like. I just understand that behind the muses, there is a real person with real feelings who might wanna share lil details of their lives. Especially when they have more followers on their rp blogs who are more likely to listen & respond than their personal blog does.

There are a couple scenarios where I will draw the line. That being if there is just no in character content. Like they've been logging on every day for weeks just to make several ooc posts and nothing more. Then I may unfollow just because, at that point, I question if I'll ever be able to actually write with them because they're not giving any ic stuff lol. Or when like they just SPAM the dash with reblogs that have NOTHING to do with their muses. I'm not saying musings or aesthetics posts - because those still pertain to the muse. I'm saying when they reblog stuff from other fandoms that have zilch to do with their blog. For example, it'd be like if I were to start reblogging lots of Death Note, lots of Supernatural, and lots of Bluey despite the fact that my blog is Tekken lol. Now that I find annoying bc I'm wondering really WHY can't you use a personal for that? Of course, ppl are always free to do what they want with their blogs - but that's one thing I don't get.

7. DNIs in rules

I'm like what you were saying, I will follow them if it's somebody I know I'm not gonna end up writing with anyone due to different fandoms or having never followed each other. Or if like, they have concrete proof that this person is to be avoided. But liiiiike... when ppl just drop a username in a DNI and has no other available information... I just can't help but wonder if that person did anything or if it was a personal spat between the two muns. Especially because I've been a personal "victim" of ppl telling their mutuals to not interact with me, that I should just delete, and saying just horrible untrue garbage about me. All because I wrote with sb they didn't like. (Though they were also infamous about pretending to be somebody's friend, then dropping them and suddenly acting like they're the Worst Person Ever with no actual evidence)

I understand if muns wanna set boundaries even if they simply don't like the other person, or they had a personal drift or whatever. But like... I'm gonna be honest, there are def ppl in the RPC that I don't care to see on my dashboard. But I don't think I'll ever have a DNI. I just use X-Kit, X-Kit Rewritten, and the Tumblr block feature to avoid them. Which yes, sometimes they might still "slip through" but like... if I just see them once in a blue moon, it's not gonna matter much to me. And this even applied to those who bullied me as I mentioned above.

So yeah, I do try to follow DNIs if it's one of my mutual, but I do often question the validity (sorry but with the past, I can't help but to) and well... I also have to apologize if I end up writing with sb in a "DNI" because I swear it feels like more and more ppl are having DNI lists now and it's like... when you're following nearly 200 people, it's probs hard to remember who's in a DNI and who's not, y'know? But like I also said, usually those in DNI lists tend to be in different fandoms than I am, anyway.

8. reblog karma

I don't follow it. I mean, of course, I'll always reblog posts from the source & send people in one (WHEN it's applicable. Obvs I'm not gonna send a smut / ship meme to somebody who my muse has no relation with) But like... people rarely follow reblog karma so I just see little point in enforcing it lol. Like even IF somebody does reblog from the source, you can always tell they reblogged it from you without sending you one. And honestly? I don't get wtf people even do that for when it comes to munday asks or headcanon asks. Like why? There is literally zero excuse for it. Shy? Send it through anon. It doesn't fit your character? It doesn't have to because it's just asking my character / or the mun a question. Like literally. That shit actually annoys me but again. What can you do? I'm not gonna demand ppl ... but I still never understand it.

And I understand some ppl say it clogs up the activity if it's reblogged straight from them. But honestly... I've just never had that problem before lmao. Like I've had personal blogs reblog memes I've made and those memes can get up to 20+ notes, and it still never bothers me. (Especially when a lotta times in Modern Tumblr Age, notifs for a single post tends to become one block)

DUDE I FUCKING LOVE ELDEN RING, it's my favorite Fromsoft game behind Bloodborne, so much so that I have a canon url blog for it at @lichdragon-fortissax (though I admittedly haven't been posting as much there bc I've been in my Destiny 2 hyperfixation as of late). I adore the story, the characters, the art and the gameplay, and it's where I ended up accidentally making a couple of ocs I'm actually really fond of, which is rare bc I tend to be extremely nitpicky about my own personal content. Bloodborne is a favorite in a sort of spiritual/thematic way but Elden Ring is a fav for it's storytelling, with Ds1 right behind it. I've got so many hours in there and tbh once I'm finished griding out the rest of Season of the Deep I'm considering redownloading it to give my strength and int builds another shot (though I'll probs just co-op Malenia on Fenrix more bc I adore that fight). It's a fucking masterpiece

As for Armoured Core, I just finished watching Vaati and Ironpineapple's videos on it and I'm super stoked to see it in full, though I'm kind of on the fence if I want to get it at full launch or wait to watch a playthrough first, which I did with every game but Elden Ring bc I knew I'd click with it right away (full launch is 5 days before my birthday, so that would be a great present, but still...I'm stingy with money and when to spend it shchfje). I'm not much of a mech guy typically, but I love the bleak nature of the Armoured Core series with their poignant criticism of capitalist corperate systems, and the super-customization aspect of it makes my little strategy-loving brain giddy. I get the feeling that if I do end up playing it I'll just end up tinkering with my build and replaying missions over and over again for the sole purpose of maximizing efficiency for each encounter, bc if there's one thing I love to do, it's find a way to absolutely bulldoze bossfights. It looks sick as hell and I absolutely cannot wait for someone to find the world's most broken build day 1 of the community that comes to dominate the meta before it gets nerfed to hell and back (though tbh I'd be just as delighted if that was a fruitless effort simply because of certain strategies needing certain parts and tactics, as seems to be the idea for the gameplay)

1. What is your absolute all-time favourite ideas you’ve ever had?

Honestly, all my ideas are my favorite because my brain comes up with whatever and I have to sort through the broken pieces to get a good story. If it makes it out, then I love it. Also, I cherish all my ideas and can't really pick a favorite.

2. Is there a question you’ve been asked in the past that really stands out to you, and you still think about sometimes?

Unfortunately not really. People don't talk to me and on the off change I do engage with someone, my anxiety usually makes me clam up so much they stop talking since they think I'm not interested 😅

3. What is your favourite part of being a writer? What parts could you take or leave?

Adding to my previous question, my favorite part has to be how I can actually express myself, my words, feelings, experiences, etc... in written word. I struggle so much talking to people that writing is the only place where I feel I can say what I really want to.

What I would leave out is how little most people care about writing. I wish we lived in a world where instead of Monday Night Football, we got Writing To Tomorrow or smth idk.

4. What is your greatest motivation to write/create?

The idea that I might one day be the author/owner of a book/character that heavily impacts someone's life for the better.

5. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever read or been given as a writer?

I think that would be the advice where people say "your favorite author started off with terrible ideas too."

That made me realize I don't have to rush in making a "masterpiece" because it might not even be seen as one. I can just make good enough stories and go from there.

6. What do you wish you knew when you were first starting out writing?

That I can actually write whatever I want lol. When I was younger, I thought that you had to follow strict formulas; like, you could only write women as damsels and men as heroes. Little Miss Ann found out that's definitely not the case 😂

7. What is your favourite story you’ve written to completion? Link it if you’d like and can!

8. What is your favourite out-of-the-box quote?

I'm terrible at endings and even more horrible at actually ending my stories, but the few that I have are normalities because of how easily the story came to me and was written, and A Fourth Dimension Reality: The Strange Beginnings because it's my crack baby that I technically "completed" because it was so long I broke it into separate volumes.

I don't know what to even tell you, this is my humor🗿

9. Which of your characters would you say has the most controversial mindset? Why do you say so, and how do you personally feel about their ideals?

Probably them all. So, typically, I tend to have strong opinions and some of them are considered "hot takes." This bleeds into my stories, but I'd say the character who'd rub some the wrong way is one old one, Dia, and one new, Lazarus.

Dia is a demon who believes angels are no different than his species. Considering he was a former angel, he knows angels can be just as "evil" as demons and doesn't have a concept of "good" and "bad"

Lazarus is just an asshole who likes girls who are introverted and shy because he hates how extroverted and loud the rest of the world is.

I actually based Dia's mindset off my own since I have negative experiences with Christians and a similar negative outlook of them. (I'm totally fine with the religion itself, but not some of the crazies who practice it.)

Lazarus, on the other hand, is someone I don't agree with because I don't feel a personality trait can make someone better than anyone else. Still gotta love Lazzy boi tho~

10. If you, when you first started writing, met you now, what would younger you think?

Probably that she was doing less than she expected 😅 see, I had very high and unrealistic expectations of future me. At this point, she was hoping I'd be a well off author sitting in my log cabin in the woods with my husband Aizen 🙉

IT'S SIDE ORDER TRAILER DISSECTION TIME!!!

Looks like the graphics in the square got an upgrade! Also the white growths all around the square look a lot more like zombie fungus to me (look up zombie fungus and you'll see what I mean)... maybe my theory has some weight to it?

Looks like one of the new gameplay mechanics for Side Order is that we'll be using the drone in the trailer to fly around stages (I'll get to the drone in a bit!)

Also new dualies!

We're shown an assembly line and it looks like it's making some sort of plushie of an umbrella octopus, a tentacle mem cake lookin' thing, and some other things in the background which I can't quite make out.

The datamines for those zako_standard enemies turn out to be for new enemies we're supposed to beat up in the DLC. No octarians this time! The new enemies appear to be robotic fish resembling this thing from the OG Side Order teaser!

Not exactly, though. The fish in the new trailer come in different shapes and sizes, but you get the idea.

On the topic of these fish bots, they appear to be generated from a strange black orb, which I assume is in each level.

We see the drone in action in a gameplay clip. The fish bots will swarm the player in large amounts and it appears the bigger the bot, the more HP they have. Also it looks like there's a points system now because numbers show up each time a fish bot gets splatted.

THE REVEAL OF THE CENTURY! Without any build up, the one, the only, DEDF1SH makes a suprise appearence in the trailer!

Also dedf1sh wasn't kidnapped by Mr. Grizz and became Octoplush, everyone! Now question is.... WHO MADE #35 CAUGHT THEN?!

If you haven't figured it out by now, the drone's piloted by Pearl.

Also, looks like the mystery octoling we've all been theorizing about is actually Agent 8!

dedf1sh, unlike the other sanitized octolings, still has a personality!

Looks like they've rebranded dedf1sh to Acht now. Kinda close to Ahato (her name prior to being sanitized and this trailer coming out) but not quite (also "acht" means "eight" in German. just a small fun fact.)

And looks like our girl has some more things to say! It appears that she used to know Marina way back whenever.

dedf1sh then presents us with something called a color chip, which looks like it grants us certain abilities like splash damage, run speed up, and drone splat bomb.

The color chips also alter finger and hair color, depending on what chip you use.

More gameplay. Looks like we gotta destroy those black orbs the fish bots spawned from to finish the level (I think)

Eight and Pearl Bot approach some strange core thing. Boss spawner, perhaps?

Unfortunately the rumors are true. We won't get to play this amazing DLC until spring 2024. Eh, I'm sure we can make it, now that we got a full trailer to make theories and stuff out of!

The official name for whatever took over the tower in the middle of the square (at least in the English version) is the Spire of Order.

Just like with the Inkopolis Plaza DLC, we'll be getting an Off the Hook banner avaliable... right now actually (if you pre ordered the DLC)! No need to wait until 2024 for it!

Everyone (minus Eight, Pearl Bot, and dedf1sh) in the square is gone (as if it wasn't obvious enough)

Not only is there a white version of the splat dualies, but a splatana stamper as well!

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

Bellow mostly applies to Touhou Project:

More character analysis based on how they appear in the games. It doesn't happen often but I think talk centered round how Touhou characters express themselves through spell cards can add a lot of depth that doesn't come through in fanworks.

More fanworks that draw from their historical inspiration (this limits to a small cast of characters but I feel like Historical Touhou is very rare...I also understand why this doesn't happen much mostly due to high barrier of entry and in general requiring more work.)

Also a huge fan and will always welcome Touhou designs that pull from the artist's nationality. It's a fun twist and I'm always impressed when they incorporate design elements from the original outfit into the clothes.

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

Sakuro and Cleru during my Summon Knight: Swordcraft Story playthrough made me laugh a lot. Sakuro is a very, very silly Craftlord. They have a very similar dynamic to Steven and Brendan's relationship from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (though I feel like Emerlad is probably the better fit to their dynamic).

O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

Alright, I had to have Youtube randomly shuffle my Summer Recap but it pulled up Fifty Fifty's Cupid and it just reminds me of Devil Survivor as a whole for the sole reason I read all eight volumes while listening to this song on loop at 1.25x speed. It's really funny of all the songs I put on loop throughout the summer, it happened to pick one I actually have some association with a fandom....

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

Major spoilers for Swordcraft Story: I really like Ureksa a lot as a character, he's portrayed in a pretty sympathetic manner and I think how he patches things up with Cleru/Pratty is really refreshing. While I don't love the suicide bait and switch, it really does feel clear to me even if he made some pretty bad decisions, I do think he's a kind person at heart. He's a very prickly person, but I think it makes sense from his design (a lot of spear specialists tend to not be very direct, which makes sense for their fighting style, the game specifically sets up spear users to fight at a range).

Now that I think about it, Matsuoka Rin (Free!), is also someone I warmed to eventually because I liked seeing him be a mentor to Aiichirou and Momotaro. I think that's part of his character design though...

As an aside, it is possible to send me this prompt multiple times since there's very few characters I actively hate and I always have something tucked away in the back of my mind. Most of the time is me wanting to comment their role in the story, but I think that can be read as me recognizing their purpose....

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

Not tumblr, but on Twitter, I do think it's really easy to lose interest in fandom because it's very easy to fall into negative spirals. There is a general shift in fandom overall that made me feel the need to keep my interests separate with side blogs and I tend to be more active through a very closed off account on Twitter.

Maybe one day I'll be courageous and blog about my interests from my one main blog, but that's still an option off the table for now.

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

Toyosatomimi no Miko/Soga no Tojiko the popular fandom portrayal just gets on my nerves and I find it really annoying when sometimes posts still appear because the ship name is not mentioned anywhere in the tweet. I do have a specific portrayal but I'm hesitant to say if's romantic, but i do think their dynamic is interesting, I just can't bring myself to think of it as romantic.

This might be more closer to me complaining I wish I had post block on Twitter/Tumblr Mobile.

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?

I think a long time ago I made a joke about how the fanon portrayal of Shinichi drinking coffee is a subtle way for him to drive away people bugging him. (Caffiene is a natural insecticide, hence the word play). Truth be told I'm not 100% sure now if that was the inspiration for this post I made...

I think maybe you can still find it in the KaiShin discord, but I felt like there's a lot of innuendo to be had knowing Toichi and Yuusaku having a back and forth with just a question mark and exclamation point. (The symbol that combines both the question mark and exclamation point is called an interrobang and it looks like this: ‽)

I don't think either of them spawned too much in the fandom, but I realize my sort of humor needs like a short essay just to explain the context and this is probably why I don't really share my more cracky/insane interpretations....

Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

I think the only true fandom I've completely abandoned is Harry Potter? Aside from the obvious reasons, I've learned I still do really love the concept of magic, but I would rather have it manifest itself in different ways. I love fantasy and magic, but I think I end up preferring it to be a back drop or the setting rather than the primary focus. I guess it's more closer to, I like it more as an aesthetic, but dislike it when it becomes the center focus.

Even more controversial fandoms I never can quite fully bring myself to fully abandon (the one that mainly comes to mind is Hetalia). A lot of other fandoms that are less contentious I tend to just cast aside for a while but after a few years I end up picking it back up again for one reason or another.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

Listen, I know it's basically confirmed now that Futo killed Tojiko as of Strange Creators of Outer World, I still refuse to believe Futo actually did it. The closest thing I'll compromise on is Futo's definition of killing Tojiko is "she was not present to stop the murder." That's about it.

I'm basically a Futo apologist and I'm sorry you had to find out this way.
