Recap, in this au, instead of being sealed in the tree, the witches kill the Beast and reincarnated them, promising them that this time, they'll do better and give them a better life. They also made a spell so that all of them will not meet each other, until a certain point of when they are becoming lesser of the Beast of they are. This also include in the sidekick, but they have a much higher chance meeting, the percentage being higher.

Shadow Milk (this au is inspired by another so I copy some stuff ok) was abt to be reincarnated as a normal cookie, when for some reason, the light of truth feel like trolling and reincarnated him into one of the ancient's twin, Pure Vanilla.

Anyway- At first shadow milk cookie was like 'get me outta here bro nah!!! wtf man I hate this!!!' and tries to kill pure vanilla at first because he's a bit. Insane like that and he doesn't know who the hell this child is 😭😭 he probably thinks he got a second chance from fate or something and is having none of that because he's still salty about being killed

The thing is tho– pure vanilla is scared at first but forgives him and shadow milk is rightfully confused because '????? I tried to kill you????' and he's never seen a cookie so, kind? Simple minded? Before, so he feels weird, and is baffled but ultimately lets it go under the guise of him waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike (spoiler, he doesn't he's actually weirdly touched yet disgusted on how kind pure vanilla is)

HC that their sibling dynamics is still chaotic older twin and kind younger twin, shadow milk cookie still mischievous as hell, same exact personality and vanilla scolds him lightly from time to time, but most times just playfully exasperated

They attend the blueberry yogurt academy together, along with white lily, shadow milk cookie probably puts up a facade towards everyone, a bit silly yet insane at times, the only one who's seen shadow milk cookie with his guard down is pure vanilla cookie, and that's only during the time he almost killed him.

But one day he sees what white lily was researching and, honestly he probably already knows the truth so seeing white Lily research it set off alarm bells in his head, honestly, knowing him he'd probably let her go to the banquet fully knowing what she could learn, but the thing is he's conflicted on pure vanilla learning it too, "he's too- too simple minded for that, he can't learn it ever" (he started caring a bit over the years) so he confronts white Lily and gets her to hide her research from pure vanilla, not without her pressing him for answers too though, he tells her some sparing details.

It's worth noting now that shadow milk got weirdly attached to pure vanilla, but is still planning to regain his powers back, and find out what happened to the rest of the previous ancients.

I feel like he'd stick with PV during his pilgrimage, and finally understand why he was reborn as his twin when pure vanilla recieved the light of truth, at first he was afraid that pure vanilla would spiral like he did but cast his worries aside when he realized that it lacked the engulfing shadows of deceit, "...why am I even caring anyway??" And then he thinks it's laughable, he thinks fate is trying to screw him over by showing him his replacement front and center.

They'd probably um, have a fight?? Idk but it would lead to shadow milk cookie storming off

They part ways until the fight with dark enchantress, he knows FULL WELL who she is and wanted to ask her things but he gets caught in the crossfire instead, pure vanilla spots him as dark enchantress was preparing for her final blow and uses the strength he has left to shield him and shadow milk's like "WGAT THE FUCK" because it's simply, illogical, incomprehensible to him, it reminds him of his past allies- he was left stunned as everything disappeared.

Everything else happens normally, except now the light of truth sticks with shadow milk cookie since they still technically have a connection, and since pure vanilla is temporary unavailable, shadow milk does NOT know how to feel yet, he's still processing everything that happened, definitely has beef with the light of truth tho I think it'd be funny. He also keeps it around because it can see pure vanilla when he can't, and they're now (begrudgingly) working together to wake pure vanilla up

Idk what happened next, since I'm still new to the lore and don't know which place to put this best, but one day smc would find wizard cookie and the gang and yadayada he suddenly remembered that he was a natural at teaching (he was teaching wizard cookie) and he loved teaching but the pressure and negativity that developed centuries later outweigh it and he realises he still love teaching. Don't know where to put in the timeline tho

When she was reincarnated, all of her life was simply normal stuff (for now) but then one day she moves to dark cacao, she found herb cookie (pls tell me he lives there-) and meet espresso cookie who remind her way too much abt smc, Pre corrupted and post corrupted. She realises her negligence to every friends she had and swore to apologise to them. (it's a slow burn realisation tho and slow burn accepting she cares and loves her friends). She would also have a slow, SLOW burn with herb cookie, like he confess to her once and she rejected it soo.... Yeah (I don't ship this in the official but I do ship this in the au cuz I can)

Burning Spice, not much but he's like- bored, BORED. so he went out to travel so that he won't get bored (it barely help) BUT- like izuru form danganronpa, he'll learn that even tho it's boring, GET FUCKING THERAPY. candy apple cookie doesnt care much abt smc, seeing as she barely know him and was technically was raised by black sapphire cookie so yea, she didn't care much abt smc, maybe a bit since smc is still his father and the one created her

silent salt: war, murder, weapons, loneliness. is he only a weapon in everybody eyes? hes so lonely... he cant live without his friends, and not like the cookies care anyway, they just like him because hes a weapon, a protecter. how annoying.

shadow milk: all of them r corrupted, ppl always questioning wheter is he worthy or useful, always being in last place, loneliness, no one who could understand him, and now... the reveal that the witches who created them wanted to eat cookies? sure the one who created them decided they didn't want to eat them, being kind enough, but his whole existence were an accident? so all of those suffering, sleepless nights, praying were worthless? so hes always the last one? .....the burden of knowing to much, embrace the lie, his head says. and this time, he'll agree.

💙 anon here with a lil sum fun for the Internationally Wanted AU :] sorry if its too long 😭😭 (lowkey might actually write this, its kinda taken over my mind lolol) funnily enough ive been more obsessed w the plotty side of this AU rather than the porn (but rest assured that the porn is coming soon). anyways, ive been thinking abt a slight twist to the AU, where the VIPs are killed on the island, so none of the players or whatnot are labeled as terrorists (just yet 👀). instead, it becomes national news in Korea about an entire island going up into literal flames. the smoke had attracted local fisherman, who alerted to police, who called in the military. before long, theres helicopters flying around the blazing island and military men picking thru the debris, trying to find out what happened. they dont find much (or maybe they do, but theyre silenced rather quickly. no one brings up the odd shards of pastel concrete they saw, or the singed green jacket with the number 456 emblazed on the back, or the bunker doors they found.) the incident is labeled as a work of nature, and the news outlets quickly filter it away in favor of other stories (they were paid off by people for powerful than you could imagine.)

then, the killings begin. they start off as just that, a police officer here, a local banker there. relatively normal people, gunned down with bullets to the head and no known motive or suspect. cases gone cold relatively quick. then, the media starts calling them Assassinations, as the "importance" of the victims gets higher. a police chief this time, the owner of a news media company, the head of a government-funded charity, one, two, three CEOs. when a major politician gets shot in front of a crowd, things begin to get even more serious.

(They are panicking, rushing to hire more guards, secure their assets, book plane tickets to other countries. Thet are being Hunted, tracked down like mere prey, taken out one by one, never knowing when They are next.)

It slowly becomes international news, as the number of victims rises, each and every one raising more questions and alarm than the last. then, the notes begin. neat scrawl or messy strokes, blots of ink and curling edges pinned to the jackets of dead men. they speak of justice, of revenge. finally, the media has a motive. Death Games. its too unbelieveable of a story at first, something straight out of a work of fiction. then the records are leaked to the media, lists of players, lists of winners, photo stills of winding stairs and hallways in eerie shades of pastels, of armed men dressed in pink, of a terrifying masked figure in black. then, the videos of the games are uploaded to the internet from a computer in a small, local library.

they try to track down the uploader, but the library's cameras are looped. all they have is an online manifesto, signed 456.

(he is coming for Them, that much is obvious. They think They can hide, but the moment a member of Parliment is killed, They realize that no where is safe. They may be the worlds richest, most powerful, but they can do nothing, and the thought evokes a level of terror they have never before felt.)

i really truly believe that this second panel is how he really truly feels. living like a bum aside, lloyd has always put others first, he's always protected other people before himself. lloyd also tends to always try and take things into his own hands, taking the reins and pulling things into his control, so that he can achieve this unknowingly noble goal of protecting those close to him.

it makes the fact that the moment he heard about making a prayer he does it IMMEDIATELY, so so so heartache to me; maybe i'm overanalyzing/overthinking these things, but as someone who doesn't quite believe in higher power and also as someone with a lot of easily-hurtable pride:

it makes a lot of design sense too w the way he's dressed, and also with the sheer SIZE of his weapon; you'd think that he'd have like, armor or something if he was going somewhere expecting a fight, but all he's wearing is a nice clean white suit. but that's cause the halo does all the defense work for him!!! and with the weapon too like, if you need to suddenly defend but you're in the middle of an attack and unable to shift your momentum, the halo's got you covered! it'd be hellish trying to stop your trajectory with the swing of a hammer THAT large, it looks like its made of straight up metal/steel, so when you swing you HAVE to follow through. u wouldn't be able to really defend with it

Did you have an religious trauma or are toj religious like I know were god and stuff I’ve always believed there’s something beyond traditional religion at play but at the same time sometimes i think god is making fun of me or punishing me until I repent or something that’s why the law isn’t working but I know that’s not true it’s just my anxiety but still do u have any experience with that or advice. Sometimes I’ll for to church (by force) and the sermon is abt something I’m doubting like god is trying to speak with me or something and make me give up and repent

Omg yes! I grew up in a very religious christian/catholic hispanic family on my mom’s side. My dad’s side was a lot more open minded and spiritual, so i was a bit torn throughout my childhood. My mom would also force me to go to church because she didn’t want me to end up like my dad (with no true religion) and so that was always in the back of my mind because i didn’t want to disappoint my mom. Then i started questioning myself like do i really believe in god or do i just want to not disappoint my mom. Then i found out that god doesn’t like gay people and he sends them to hell or whatever and that made me really sad because at that time one of my favorite cousins had just came out and she’s such a good person always helping out the homeless and going in mission trips so i didn’t understand how someone who did such good things would end up in hell simply because they loved someone.

In the end I realized it wasn’t that I don’t believe in God, but that I didn’t like the way the religion worshipped him. It was very culty and contradictory. And although I still went to church with my mom (which i felt very guilty about), I could seem to be frustrated with myself I would always ask myself why i couldn’t just be normal and be religious. Then I found out about manifestation in 2019. And i had a grand realization that I’m in control of my destiny and it’s not already decided for me by some big angry man in the sky. And that the higher power is a part of me and not as demanding and vindictive as they make it seem in the bible. So i’m not an atheist lol, but I just don’t believe in the way christians perceive god/ the higher power.

When I started realizing that “I am god” I did have a moment where just felt lost like I was doing something wrong and I should be ashamed. It was difficult especially when i always had my mom in my ear preaching the gospel. I would definitely say it made it harder for me with the law of assumption/ the void state and shifting because I always had that doubt in my mind. Like what if my mom is right and i’m just going down the wrong path. But then I had way too many success stories of my own for it to be a coincidence. I felt a lot happier than I did when i was practicing christianity.

To answer you question, yes I do feel like that was holding me back, it was definitely a HUGE limiting belief that i didn’t even think about getting rid of. But i think the best way for you to get over that is to trust that there is a higher power and there is a god, but that instead of punishing you for discovering your own path, it will allow you to find your way with a little bit of guidance. So really i’m not saying that you need to completely abandon your religion to be able to manifest or tap into the void state, because that’s not it at all. There are so many people in very strict religions that have been able to manifest their dream life while still sticking to their religion. Manifestation and the void is not against any religion. It’s a natural human right and ability, we do it every day whether we’re conscious of it or not. For the problem wasn’t whether manifesting was against my religion or not, it was the fact that I was straying away from my religion and that the LOA community helped me realize how much my religion was holding me back.

If your concern is that it’s against your religion, trust god would not have given you the ability to do it if it were a sin. The void state is not some outside force, in fact if anything the void state would help you rid you of your sin because in that state you’re free of all intrusive, negative, and limiting thoughts. Creating your own path is nothing to repent for.

So: i was learning about art forgery earlier this year, and my professor was mentioning how because of the elitism in the art world, some artists are forced to turn to forgery because no one will pay large amounts of money for art that doesn't have a famous name/history attached to it. SO they'll copy other people's artstyles and say they found this "Leonardo Da Vinci" work in some abandoned attic somewhere and sell it (now obviously because DaVinvi is so famous, it would be pretty hard to sell that lie, but you know what I mean. maybe a buttersworth painting. idk).

...And you can launder money with art forgeries: somebody could buy a forgery with money achieved through nefarious means (dirty money), then resell it for the same (or a higher) price. Now they have the same amount/more money, but it was achieved through legitimate means so its harder to track down/make a case against it in court.

Anyway: The Syndicate catches some broke ass college student on their territory, but they are a damn quick thinker and say that they have connections in crime to spare themselves. The student tells them that they have contact with this guy Anonymous, who provides art forgeries that the Syndicate can then sell and keep their money trail clean (especially useful, when in their civilian disguise. all that money is suspicious...). What the student ISN'T telling them is that they aren't just the middleman for Anonymous' works, they ARE Anonymous (because, if the Syndicate got sick of them and knew that there was only just one person involved in the business, they could just kill that one person. But if they think there's multiple, they'd have to keep the student alive to get to Anonymous).

Maybe Siren finds out that its the student who is doing the paintings, and they bond over their artistic interests; him being a musician, them being a painter.

Or, ALTERNATE SCENARIO: There IS a mafia that the Syndicate is dealing with, and the mafia agrees to set them up with one of their greatest contributors. Obviously Siren is sent to talk with this mysterious associate-- since he's very persuasive-- and instead of finding some shady, powerful crimelord, he finds a worn out, paint-splattered college student wearing J O R T S in a shitty apartment. they don't even react when they see him they're just used to it at this point.

but i also love the second alternate part bc siren’s heard all these stories about anonymous’s ability to replicate artists exactly and how skilled they are, and then student opens the door and is just like “okay. siren is here. totally normal.”

I can pinpoint a point in manga canon where I think he would've actually thought this out loud, but I just realized that this OP can be a relatively manga spoilers free post, so I'm going to go ahead and exclude it. Toge and Yuuta had a conversation that Yuuta concluded by saying "thanks, that'll come in handy" & I think the events of that chapter would be ones that Toge would think this about.

Like, I don't think Toge has ever approached people via how powerful they are, I think that puts a very bad taste in his mouth. But still, in both his relationships with Gojo and with Yuuta, he's obviously got to be Aware. Which makes me feel all kinds of ways about his relationship with Satoru Gojo (enough breathing room to live. to make friends. Toge Inumaki is one of Satoru's biggest success stories when it comes to Trying To Be A Shield Behind Which Children Can Be Children)

But he knows whether he's equipped to defend himself if the higher ups change their mind on him, and even after Gojo's in his life, the answer is still no

Yuuta rolls into Toge's life as many things, but particularly as someone who's gonna fight for him, next to him.

That's what I think is happening in the mall scene, you know? I think the movie betrays a very real sense of I'm Not Going To Look For Anyone To Save Me.

Yuuta is that for both Toge and Maki, you know? Like, Maki doesn't wind up taking him up on it, but they both have a moment with him where Yuuta is like hey I'd like to throw myself fully behind you (Toge) / your goals (Maki).

And obviously like. like as I said, Toge is already under what protection Satoru Gojo has to offer, but also, I mean, Yuuji dies while under that protection. Satoru is intentionally distant and frankly intentionally offputting in a lot of ways

and Satoru is spread THIN, Satoru is working on a vision for everyone, so. yeah, Toge could land anywhere within that vision, and I think he knows that.

anyway Satoru is spread THIN trying to do something for EVERYONE...

Meanwhile Yuuta rolls up and decides okay, I am in this for Maki and Toge and Panda.

....and. that. might just be okay. that might just be something.

And Toge lets it creep in slow, it keeps surprising him. hope is a dangerous thing because Toge doesn't like crashing, Toge happens to like being happy, and he's figured out how to be pretty okay, within a young expiration date.

(I tend to assume there are ugly politics hanging over Toge's head and he knows. I tend to headcanon that both Toge and the higher ups know that the second they start becoming too afraid of him, they can send him into some fight a little too big for him. He's under Satoru Gojo's protection but Yuuji died under that protection. It's not quite the same arrangement as Yuuji's delayed execution once-he-becomes-a-threat, but only because it's not an execution stated out loud. It's politics. Quiet. He knows he's toeing a line and, as he becomes stronger and improves his technique, probably on a timer.)

(And Toge's relationship with that isn't obedient acceptance, it isn't dying willingly and quietly. But it is that he isn't strong enough to fight that once it comes knocking. And No One Is Going To Fight For Me, not fight for me and win.)

But it is creeping in, his awareness that Yuuta is in it beside him - that if one day there is a fight too big for Toge, he just has to turn to one side and ask.

It would be an overstatement to say he starts planning to live longer but. he's only human. feelings sneak in. and then they send Yuuta overseas.

Ideas have been spinning around in my brain for awhile now and you can disregard all of this if you want but I have WAYYYY too many characters with excessively detailed backstories and your little character has been sparking ideas for me. So! I have lore ideas and here they are (these ideas may/may not overlap a little with my own stories but not enough that you can’t do what you want):

I was thinking your oc (the wispy one with the colors n stuff) came to be as a result of the remains of dead gods. Morbid, but it happened a little like a star forming from the dust of other stars. So over time all these remains out in the universe just started coming together and suddenly there’s a whole being! And obviously this being has no idea about anything. It kinda just… is. For a long while at that. It kinda just floats through space while sightseeing the galaxy.

It quickly learns it’s pretty much indestructible but at the same time getting caught in a star’s gravity hurts so not gonna do that again if it can avoid it. It also learns that it can do some pretty weird stuff (not that it knows it’s weird yet) like adjust certain things like light and energy. It can change shape at will too. It’s not all powerful and does need rest after some of these things but for a while it toys with things.

Eventually they fall to a planet. A planet with life. A planet with… other conscious beings apparently! (What we know is earth!) It’s curious but also nervous. So it watches. Mimics other life forms. Learns. It figures out how to read and write and talk both from osmosis and from seeing elders teach younger. This is not limited to humanity either. Anything from certain animals to insects and to an extent, plants!

Once they start feeling confident enough, they try blending in either human society. This… admittedly doesn’t go well. It is clear that they look too different to properly fit in and people tend to either stare or scream.

One thing leads to another and they accidentally get in trouble with what is essentially the supernatural police. After many, MANY long hours things get sorted out and they get brought to some higher tier gods to get informed about… well, everything. It is upon meeting the other gods that they realize, they don’t have a name. So they make one up on the spot. Four.

They end up trial and erroring a lot of things over time (under a lot of supervision) and find they have an inclination towards writing and reading. To discuss with other people and have fun. They also learn that they can suck the dye out of shit and annoy people with that fact. It is very fun and the dye tastes yummy so… (the ability is mostly because they’re made up of the remains of dead gods and that’s what large parts of the universe is made of. Thus, if they focus, they can adjust or even take in that energy for themself)

Once Four really starts understanding how society and stuff functions they try again to fit in with society. And it works! Sure, they have to give the excuse of “cosplay” when their disguise fails a little too hard but whatever. So sometimes they just go to the human realm to mess with people and hang out. For the most part tho, they hang around the heavenly realms and fantasy worlds and send out stories/fanfics using their phone no matter where they are.

(Have I written too much? Absolutely. I hope you enjoyed my oc brainrot tho. Because my brain has not shut up since I started drawing)

How do you think Junpei attending Jujutsu Tech would go? I'm always thinking about this, would he fit in easily? Would he still struggle to open up? Would the other students accept him? I think he'd still have a hard time, but Yuuji would be there to help him (and he'd be there to help Yuuji). I'd love to hear your thoughts abt this!

Hi!! Thank you for the ask!! I agree that I think Junpei would have a hard time, but Yuuji can make the experience a lot more tolerable. A major issue that Yuuji didn't consider but I've seen a few fics tackle is that Junpei was a curse user working with a special grade curse. He severely hurt a non-sorcerer and attacked a school. The higher-ups in Jujutsu Society will not be taking that lightly. Worse, Yuuji of all people was the first person to find him and would likely recommend and defend him.

It....does not paint a pretty picture. On top of that, Junpei's abilities emerged in a highly unconventional way. Junpei is an anomaly that they'd have no idea how to deal with.

If the higher-ups decide they're going to let Junpei live, they're still going to punish him and keep him on a very tight leash. I think Gojo, Shoko and Nanami would figure out immediately that Junpei was just extremely misguided and vulnerable to manipulation, so they'd protect him the best they can(hc that all 3 of them see Junpei and get reminded of a certain other dark-haired curse user who was their classmate with notable bangs and a conflicting relationship with the concept of humanity).

But the students....I don't think they'd be very understanding. Megumi took a shine to Nobara and Yuuji because they are demonstrably, unquestionably good people with strong convictions that they adhere to no matter what others say. He doesn't seem to like people who beat around the bush, faking things, and are indecisive, and Junpei's on really shaky grounds in terms of morality and would be just building up his convictions when he joins Jujutsu Tech. Nobara is extremely selective of the people she lets in and is hard to approach because she tells her judgements and opinions to your face. They're gonna take time to warm up to him.

I think they'd like him the moment he finds the courage to talk back to them, even if it's a horrible insult. Like when the bullies were pushing him to the ground and he gave it to them straight. Junpei's not...the nicest person, and I like that about him! I think Junpei would try to live up to Yuuji and act like him but the first-years would like him better when he's being more open and going on 15 mildly villainous rants about the human heart (I think they'd get to that after a few weeks of being in each other's presence, involving at least 3 tearful breakdowns and two almost-fistfights and shikigami-showdowns lmao).

The TEACHERS thoooo.... So I was reading this fic called A Soul's Shape and it made me realize the Jujutsu Tech teaching system and Gojo especially are Junpei's nightmares times 100(actually I think the Jujutsu Tech school system highlights the worst of a capitalistic, individualistic society's problems but if I start on that I won't shut up).

Junpei's issue was that the teachers and higher-ups in his school saw what was happening to him and did nothing. Jujutsu Tech is notorious for this issue, they literally send their students to their deaths and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's the cause of Geto's spiral, Nanami leaving, Gojo becoming a teacher. So putting him in a place that could care less if he dies with a teacher who is THE STRONGEST PERSON ON THE PLANET(who has limited decision-making power within the system) is like-- nightmare fuel. It is up to Gojo, Shoko and Nanami to show that as teachers/mentors, they're not going to be like Junpei's former teachers. I trust Nanami to demonstrate that, but I am not sure if Gojo has the ability to show that to Junpei fast enough. I hope he does tbh because if Gojo demonstrates that he's a reliable adult, I think Junpei's experience would get a lot better.

(Mid typing this, I got an idea to make Junpei and Shoko the close-knit relationship because she occasionally reminds him of Nagi and poisons based on dosages can also be medicinal and help cure things so hey what if Junpei learns RCT with her?)

What is a Hakupo?

Hakupo Tsukishiro is a energetic and powerful masculine voicebank for Utau (and amadeusy but we dont talk abt brunnnoooo). He was released all the way back in 2010 and has had many important milestones in his 13 years of distribution. Four compilation albums, 7 voicebanks, 2,500+ fanarts (that i all have), and uses by really awesome people *points to the crowd*. That's all of you guys out there. <3

Hakupo as a character is inspired by moe, thanks Clarice. Like most moe characters, he's a bit air headed and happy go lucky person. His positive attitude is sometimes brought into original songs he's featured in, which just makes me smile- girlbosses love a good pick me up song.

What does Bobo mean to me?

I found Hakupo 7 years ago now, sitting in the middle of an Utau melody. I told myself I would just turn off my tablet and listen to the music. Yeah that worked- guess who was next after the screen turned off. BOBO! I needed to see the little creature creating this melody. I turned on the screen, and was not disappointed. Fancy twink in a oversized tailcoat with weird pants. I remember rambling to my mom later about how cool he was, why he was so unique, and why this one specifically caught my attention.

He's been my special interest since then, everyone around me knows Hakupo wheather they like it or not. He's about 80% of everything I draw, 50% of what I talk about, and 100% of my little creature I snuggle up with every night.

I have a Hakupo bodypillow. Can't sleep without him.

Anyways, he's helped me find a lot of my best friends *coughcoughmeatcoughrevcough*, never fails to make me happy, and helped everyone around me realize I'm extremely autistic. The least I can do is write an ungodly long propaganda post while drinking my coffee at 9 am.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999) dir. Gil Junger

It has been days but I still can't stop thinking about @/zykamiliah's (idk if I'm doing this right. Am I allowed to @ people I don't follow or talk to ever before? I barely use tumblr until twitter problems piling recently) reply on the breakdown why Binghe's protagonist halo is nonexistent and the one inevitable omnipotent being in Scum Villain is actually the system, which prompt me to see her other opinions on SVSSS and stumble upon her opinion tht the system is the representation of the fandom's wishes... because it has uppend all my preconceptions about the system's modus operadi and her interpretation makes much more sense after I dwell on it a bit too much.

(Below are my before vs after -super duper long- interpretation and explanation on Shen Yuan's system modus operadi from my understanding. Keep in mind that I am not that against the System as a whole coz I feel that it saved Shen Yuan from his death in a sense. Just not out of free goodwill, but more of an exchange which is fair to me coz life is priceless and Shen Yuan is living beyond his supposed time. If Shen Yuan is that against being saved then he can just stop doing what he is doing in my opinion.)

(I may or may not read dozens too many unlimited flow novels which has a much higher cost for just a few days extra of living while Shen Yuan is effectively getting immortality in exchange...)

Before:

I used to interpret the three options -I think in general it usually offers three options- that the system offer SQQ as Best Answer (LBH's preference), worst answer (story characterization preference), and neautral answer (SQQ or the system's preference) due to the too many otome game I played in my youth.

This has caused me so much pain because the only reason SQQ avoid the best answer LBH wanted was his pride and assumptions (which, I later realize, is possibly a cover for how guilty SQQ felt abt his decision that he never believe he deserve any forgiveness or even the right to feel sorry coz he did it anyway).

The one example I remember too clearly for my own good is the one in water prison where Binghe ask if SQQ regrets pushing him to the Abyss. Option A was "yes, I regret it so much!", B was "no, u deserve it", and C was *silent*. Or something along that line.

I had also interpret the three known fixed events (the skinner, the Demon Invasion, and the Endless Abyss... or there may be more but I forgot? I swear the others are just side mission or hidden quest) and the initial OOC restriction as necessary:

OOC restriction is to keep his status and body without too much questions asked due to drastic change of temperament. In idealistic world, SY would be able to live a nomadic life where he sightsee the monsters he is very interested in... but I doubt this is achievable with Yue Qingyuan as sect leader slash overprotective older bro figure (or smtg more sus, but YQY has always make me uncomfortable for some reason, or maybe coz I fear his reaction had he ever realize that SQQ is no longer Shen Jiu) of Shen Jiu. So, he has to stay as SQQ, a peak lord involved w LBH who had history of abusing LBH. Which sucks, but on one hand the system gave SY a second chance at living (bonus of getting a healthy, beautiful, immortal body with powerful status and money to live comfortably) and we know SY very much wants to live. Note that even with this restriction, we know that the other Peak Lords had checked SQQ for possession several times, imagine what they'll do without the restriction?

The Endless Abyss is a rather inevitable and moderately safe, time and location wise, for LBH to unlock his heavenly demon blood. Again, ideally it'll be best if LBH doesn't attend this at all, but people will raise questions since it is well known how favored and powerful LBH is in Qing Jing. On the other hand, I doubt there will be anything that can entice LBH from leaving SQQ by his own initiative, especially far enough to venture to the demon realm, and SQQ is too soft to order LBH to go away for too long. During the competition, there are abundant demons that can cover up the leak of LBH's demonic power when his seal broke, limited and very busy powerful cultivator that is able to subdue and seal LBH -I'm especially glad LBH does not have to immediately deal with Old Palace Master when he is still unused to his shining new boost up-, and a convenient escape route no one will follow him into.

Skinner Event is to get SY used to how life is in this new universe, body, and job. Or at least know the bare minimum expected from him as a peak lord. I was actually surprised the system was decent enough to offer easy mode for this.

The demon Invasion reason was mentioned by SQQ himself. It was a hint for LBH himself on what kind of demon he is. Had he gotten poisoned -or not poisoned lol-, Meng Mo would have known immediately what kind of demon LBH is and told him after getting LBH as his student.

So, I thought these events are necessary, and, so, inevitable.

The scenario pusher dubious help are also the only option I thought the system have and can apply since, you know, it is a system of a super harem porn novel? It's database should only have access to events happening in the novel and that is the only events it has the authority to approve and commence in this particular universe. As in, it can only change who are involved in the scene and when the scene happens, but not what kind of scene it is -which is suggestive and R-18 stuff-. I thought it make sense that even the system will be restricted on what it can do to affect this universe as a whole.

... well, the interpretation of the system's options possibly being the wish of different genre fans of "readers" of SVSSS was... wow. It makes a lot of sense. This explains why that stupid fake jade pendant takes until the very last second SQQ can last before it finishes downloading-! Can u imagine, off screen, there is a poll going for "When should SQQ give LBH the pendant? A. Immediately, B. Suffer first to see the extend of SQQ tolerance and love for LBH, C. NEVER"? Or like those strip challenge thing recently and be like "finish loading when this gets xxxx amount of likes and xxxx retweet"?

Perhaps this is why the missions, and the scenario pusher theme is so different? The original PIDW fans gets main missions, the side &/or hidden quest, while the fujoshi choose the scenario pusher? It would explain why the fixed mission are deliberately painful, coz it is attempting to stick to the original plot, while wanting a more in-depth knowledge on the characters, background, exploration, and secrets. The fujoshis... well, we know what the fujoshi wants 😉

Also, I thought I get why SQQ is so convinced that the protagonist halo is a thing. I actually believed it too because of that scene during the ending of the skinner mission where a perfectly new, perfectly fine pillar? Ceiling? Thing just broke down when LBH is about to be hurt when he is supposed to be unharmed during the actual plot narative. (Although I used to only believe the plot armor works only during scripted scene and it can only protect LBH to ensure the protag can move on to the next scene. If there is a time skip? Ha. Ha. We will never know how much unmentioned pain and trauma LBH goes through off script time -AKA the Endless Abyss and 5-yrs w SQQ's corpse-. It can only guarantee he will be alive and as good as new when the next scene arrive.)

But this makes me realize... why on earth would I think it's something so insubstantial? Because the system said so? Wouldn't it make more sense if it had happened because of the system? Because it is within its parameter to make such absurd possibility happen as long as it can provide valid reason for its interference -which is also due to SY's suggestion in a sense coz SY asked if it can be done so the system may input it as a command and turns out it can make it happen?- So... this explains why the protagonist halo never existed. Because it has always been the system.

If the halo had always been the system's work, this is why LBH is hated coz the system cannot affect people's emotions, thoughts, and freewill.

This is also why the whole cultivation world's hatred, or at least dislike, of LBH makes a lot of sense. I had wondered why did the protag halo seem to move to SQQ instead with the progression of the novel. I mean, consider this: roped into plot via exploration, liked by everyone that interact with him, and multiple death flag avoided (we know the protag never dies unless it's tragedy). Had LBH halo -specifically PIDW LBG's type of halo- been true, then he would have get SQQ at most after he return from the Abyss coz he is now OP and he always gets what he wants -I think if was mentioned that LBG r-word some of his wife by force as well? But no one cancelled him for it, even if only coz he is too strong to fight- if we use PIDW!LBG as a reference. Instead, we have LBH losing SQQ again and again, have his entire intention misunderstood to the extreme by the love of his life, and his reputation in shambles to the point people blatantly sang songs of LBH's 'misconduct' without fearing any retribution from LBH despite being the demon lord.

Besides, I believe the only goal the system impose on SY is to make the original plot better with less or no plot hole, not completely rewrite the novel. (This is also why SY can negotiate his restriction w the system sometimes. As long as it doesn't change the existence of fixed events, it's negotiable?). This is why fixed events are unavoidable too. Like, it has to happen. The how is up to SQQ, which is also a reader by the way, but it has to happen.

But then I wonder what is the point of the system doing this? It receive updates I believe, but is that really worth it to call for help from PIDW No.1 hater who wished every single plot in the novel change minus the main character? Then again, Shen Yuan might be chosen just coz he is too obsessed with PIDW to the point he nearly memorize the entire novel.

I'd like to think that it is also conducting a kind of human moral compass test w Shen Yuan as its main test subject this time coz it never really restrict Shen Yuan's words and actions after the OOC ban was lifted, just "either this happen or you die" but how 'it' happen is up to SY's interpretation and action. The system gives suggestions, but it doesn't force SQQ to actually do anything. E.g. it didn't force SQQ to stab LBH's chest and make him believe SQQ hate him for being a heavenly demon in particular. (I am very aghast when SQQ did this to the point I much prefer how Shen Jiu push LBH to the abyss. At least it's nothing personal (much) with Shen Jiu, just a general demon discrimination instead of "oh it's just u, everyone else gets second chances but not u sorry") The system also never stops SY from holding to LBH's thigh in those 3 yrs of peace despite how the PIDW narrative implies how LBH's abuse continues until he went to the abyss, or at least neglect. Or make SQQ ignore LBH after their reunion 🙃

I'll never know which interpretation is correct and canon, both might be wrong even! But it's an interesting topic to fixate and scrutinize on coz -as always for this fandom in particular for some odd reason- I always have the opposing belief from what most believes in. Like "LBH suck and SQQ deserves better" while for me "Luo Binghe is an angel and did absolutely nothing wrong besides trying too hard to be a good person to someone who expects him to be a demon while battling the influence of OP evil sword", and "everything is the system's fault" while I'm here "does no one see the little things the system is trying to hint at oblivious SQQ??". Not saying the system is 100% innocent -whatever its reason and motivation is, forced nudity and other things is wrong yes-, unlike my very precious Luo Bingmei who is 1000% blameless in my eyes and the number one victim of all the events in SVSSS, but it is also not 100% the reason everything goes wrong.

Conclusion:

Last morbid thought as I wrote this... what if the system's power source is LBH's protagonist halo. It may also be why it can grant it's user (SQQ) the ability to affect the main plot because it is sucking LBH's halo's power to influence the universe at large... this gives me the vibe of beefleaf stealing fate plot that I not want to dwell on or I'll cry. Gah!

Then again, this is just me over thinking something that I will never really know for sure. It's a good food for thoughts tho (and for whatever fic I may or may not write in the future)

hey friend! let’s see if i can do this explanation justice

my biggest annoyance with max is that he won the 2021 f1 driver’s championship under extremely shady circumstances, thanks to a decision made by the then-race director that broke the long-standing rules about resuming racing after a safety car, which was thanks to a call made from the red bull team principal to said race director. and max/red bull are acting like that’s a perfectly regular way to win a championship, especially a first one. now, max may or may not have had a hand in it, i don’t know. but he’s made no move to acknowledge that the circumstances were highly contested AT BEST and straight-up cheating at worst. i would have significantly more respect for him if he did that one simple thing.

more broadly speaking, he’s been the favorite driver of a team that’s tossed aside three spectacularly talented drivers in favor of giving all their attention to max for what appears to be no discernible reason. he’s proved himself to be an incredibly reckless driver, to the point where it poses a higher than usual degree of danger to other drivers on the track (ESPECIALLY hamilton in 2021). and to top it all off, he has a fanbase that’s quite fond of abusing lewis hamilton, his championship rival from 2021 and the only black driver on the grid, and he’s done little to call them out on it.

in short, i don’t like max because it really looks to me like he just goes through his racing life without realizing his impact, intentionally or not. other people’s careers and lives are taking a hit because he’s the favorite of powerful people, and that really, really hits me hard. maybe he deserves to be red bull’s first driver, but not at the expense of the development of other promising teammates he’s had in previous seasons. maybe formula one is just inherently dangerous, but he’s still responsible, just like the other nineteen drivers, for driving as safe as possible. maybe he did deserve to win the 2021 championship, but we can’t know that because of how he did win, and we never will, and he can’t seem to see that.

at the end of the day, it’s sports and everyone’s got a favorite, and my opinions on him are my own, no one’s required to agree with me. but i’d have a whole lot more respect and understanding for max himself, and red bull as a team, if they would just take a moment and realize that their actions have consequences that need acknowledging.
