You know, it's genuinely sad to me that aging favourite character actors no longer have any fun murder-mystery tv shows to guest-star as murders on.

#murder she wrote #matlock #diagnosis murder #father dowling mysteries #agatha christie’s poirot #columbo #quincy ME #ironside #perry mason #there are a few others #yes i know there are murder mystery shows on now #but i'm talking specifically about the silly old fashioned ones that have guest stars as murders who used to be quite famous #and yes I know they have rebooted several of these buy none of them are watchable #but that is a whole lot of white people #still fun shows tho that had fun guest stars #yes yes I’ve seen the hallmark movies they are awful and usually don’t have good guest stars #and whilst i love these shows there are way too many white people #I just wanna see old people on tv drinking tea or eating chilli and chasing after murderers.#Perry mason was actually quite young. I want someone over 50 or 60 at least.#and give me more older people with disabilities. I wanna see canes and wheelchairs.#yes the nun in father dowling played a nun in #sister act #but Perry mason was brought back when he was older so he still counts.#yes I’ve seen poker face and it’s good. but I want older people on my screen.

Like, he meets her while trying to escape his ex and she agrees to marry him instead since her fiancé admitted to not loving her except for her money. But she needs to be married to keep the house and he wants to be human, so marriage of inconvenience but they end up liking each other and stage ghost stuff for her show. Something something he lives or she dies and we get a dramatic ending.

Dragons Rising is too dangerous for us, cause now the writers have proved they care about their characters. Pixal still existing, Kai having screen time again, and finally acknowledging Lloyd is the grandson of God? This is too much power. One has not ever dared get their hopes up in Ninjago, not for anything.

And they're gonna be the death of me specifically, because now the chances that they'll acknowledge Lloyd's dragon heritage aren't at zero anymore.

this has been argued to death at this point and i'm still going to play, but genuinely curious how they're going to handle a varric that doesnt go into specifics about hawke. like that's canonically one of his closest friends and who he started this whole mess with? merrill, who he canonically adored, literally had an eluvian sitting in her house in the ten years they knew each other?? there's an abomination in the new party, is he not going to reference anders at all??? the guy who blew up his city and set off the major chain of events that changed his life forever?????

idk. this is def the game where varric gets retired as a character and it feels wrong to send him off without specific references to the kirkwall gang, ESPECIALLY a hawke that gets left for dead in the fade. ten plus years may have passed, but to completely scrub EVERYTHING from dao/da2 and most of dai is such a bizarre decision for a 'choices matter' franchise. if you don't want to deal with the admittedly convoluted fallout of past player decisions, then make it fifty years in the future, not ten. your pookiebear solas is literally immortal, he can wait.
