i wrote for '03 leo, and the spot-art was done by @crosshatchedaces!! their piece came out warm and comforting, like a big ol' bear hug, and reflects the story perfectly. 💙🐢

This is Dima Nabahin, l'am 25 years old. I have no brothers nor sisters. I was living alone in gaza after I lost my father when he was injured in 2014 war on gaza. I was living with my mother till 2019, when she passed away, so from that time I am living alone in gaza.

I started to overcome what happened in the past, but my life completely destroyed since 7th of October

2023. I faced unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing war in the Gaza. unfortunately I lost My home that I was living in in northern Gaza, and also My parents home that I was living in with them in my childhood until they passed away. I was displaced from day one of this genocide. My life now is miserable.

Unfortunately, this plight is shared by many other Palestinian families living in the same area, but in my case l have no one that can help me, Throughout the months of relentless genocide, I suffered from constant fear and repeated, exhausting displacement that you cannot imagine without having experienced it.

Every donation will help me to survive.

I think people underestimate how simultaneously reactivating and healing that Slay the Princess can be.

The game is unabashedly anti-abuse, and deconstructs various unhealthy dynamics and behaviors through beautiful, reality-distanced plots.

The characters are shaped by their trauma and forced to interact the best they can under the circumstances, and depict a lot of deronanticization of things like rescue, love at first sight, victim blaming, post-victim lash-outs, and white knighting. It’s an extremely helpful tool of showing what really happens when you bleed out for someone else, push back your feelings, or project onto others.

But it also shows that pain in healthy dosages is a part of being human. You can move on if you’ve hurt as a result of being hurt. It doesn’t define your future. And sure, not everyone will forgive you. Many actions taken simply aren’t justifiable under any means, and the game calls you out for it. You can move on while changing your actions, or else get worse from it if you so desire. It’s extremely human.

STOP.” signal with his eyes while making a cut-throat motion with his hands, damian is staring at tim in absolute disbelief and bruce, who was reading the newspaper, just peers over the top with a strained smile and goes: “what lines did he cross, jason?”. chaos ensues.*
