why didn't they just use franziska for literally all of this.
#freya talks aai2#my goals of not being a forgotten/forsaken hater are not going well. he goes from 'kay is a dear ACQUAINTANCE' to 'i've not known her for#very long but i know she'd never kill anyone' to 'you are the kay i know so well' in the span of a few hours and it's like.#okay so you know it was too early in their acquaintanceship for this to really make sense but you still wanted a 'deep' and 'meaningful'#relationship to take the lead in this plotline. his sister is literally right there. it wouldnt have been hard to swap her in either because#she's literally investigating the smuggling situation. it would make perfect sense for her to be there following a lead instead of suddenly#revealing kay's promise notebook went missing. im not saying that the super-gentle super-meek persona would have made more sense with#franziska but honestly it wouldnt have made sense with any of them because it's more a caricature of a character rather than being an actual#previously unseen facet of one but you could've done so many more interesting things with franziska! she has an actual personal stake in#edgeworth's decision to continue as a prosecutor or not and we could get actual insight into how her own relationship with prosecuting and#its inextricable link to her father has affected her as a person. like when you show amnesiac kay the prosector badge all she says is that#it feels heroic warm and familiar like someone she knew used to show it to her often. and like cool. it's basically telling us she and her#father were close. which we already knew. imagine if franziska had said something like that or had had a more complex reaction. there would#be so many avenues to go with that!! you'd even be able to delve deeper into what edgeworth thinks about it all. like what if franziska was#just. happier. without her memories. then you'd have a story where edgeworth has to reckon with whether it might be kinder to let her live a#different life where she's unburdened by literally everything she's been made to go through and give her the same opportunity of starting#over that he now has.#im just writing fanfiction at this point but like. the amnesia plot is so frustrating to me HAHA they dont even do anything interesting with#it!! it's just oh she's lost her memories and we need to get them back because she's not 'herself' anymore without any discussion of like.#the nature of identity or living as who other people know you as vs whoever you might actually be#WHEN THE WHOLE CASE IS ABOUT EDGEWORTH DECIDING ON HIS PATH FORWARDS AND GRAPPLING WITH BEING THE PROSECUTOR EVERYONE HAS KNOWN HIM AS#whatever. WHATEVER.#annotations#some people might argue so it's not rehashing old conflict between franziska and edgeworth and like ok. she literally repeats her 'are you#running away from me again' line during this case. does that sound like the words of resolved conflict?#i know WHY they use kay. it's because they need to justify her place in this game and because they want to play on the pseudo father-figure#thing they played up in aai2 to contribute to the overall themes of fatherhood this game is dealing with. and to that i have to say that i#might just not be the audience for it because i've never bought that version of their relationship and i dont think kay should be in aai2#anyway. plus i posit that franziska would've still worked for that theme because. literally everything. about her.

Destined To Be A Girl Dad
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Cute, Fluff
Pairing: San x Reader (y/n)
Characters: Mom!Reader, Dad!San, Daughter (Choi Haeun)
Summary: When San found out you were pregnant with a girl, he could not be happier. You knew that she'll have him wrapped around her tiny finger but he'll gladly be a fool for his princess. And from the moment she was born, he prove it to be true.
Word count: 8K
Warning(s): Mentions of bodily fluids, giving birth, medical procedures, postpartum hemorrhage, (y/n)'s very stressed, scared, anxious and overwhelmed.
[A/N: This is a little 'flashback' chapter to when Haeun was born. I came across a lot of parents showing their newborn daughter and the dad's reactions just reminded me of San so much.]
San was rudely woken up by the sunlight that was streaming in through the gap in the curtains. Before he could even wake his brain, he got out of bed and went to close the curtains. He turned to make sure the sun wasn't bothering you. Thankfully, you were still fast asleep, unbothered by the sun.
"I love you." He leaned over to kiss your head, eyes scanning you to make sure you were comfortable and okay.
"San, I'm fine." You mumbled into your pillow, having felt his gaze on you despite being asleep. San chuckled, pressing his forehead against your temple lovingly.
"Just wanted to make sure you're comfy and safe, baby." He kissed your cheek.
"I'm the size of a whale, I don't even know what it's like to be comfortable anymore." You groaned.
"Don't say that about my princess. She's perfect, you're perfect." He laid down beside you, letting your rest your head on his arm. It was the best was to have you close to him since your belly was in the way.
"At this point, I just want my water to break already." You sighed in slight frustration.
"She'll come when she's ready. I know it's hard, baby. I'm sorry." He pouted, rubbing your arm.
"Want me to massage your feet or get you something?" He offered. With you going to give birth soon, your ankles have been swelling and bothering you so San has been very kind in giving you foot rubs whenever he can.
"No, can you just hold me?" You asked.
"Of course I can do that." San let you move on your own at your own pace to get yourself comfortable. You tilted your body so you could press your face against his chest.
"This should make you more relaxed." San whispered, reaching up to massage the back of your neck and shoulders.
"That feels good. You take such good care of us and she isn't even here yet." You melted into his touch.
"She's not born yet but she's here, she's a part of you. And I'll always take care of you and princess." San chuckled. With the massage and the sound of San's heartbeat, you slowly fell back asleep again.
"Sleep well." He stroked your hair.
Since you were due soon, San had taken some time off work. He still did his practices but there was less travelling just in case you went into labour.
Another thing is that ever since your pregnancy started, San has become a very light sleeper. He was always hyper vigilant and aware of your movements. Not that you wanted him to help you 24/7, he was just worried, he couldn't help it. So when he felt you stir and struggle to sit up, he opened his eyes.
"What do you need, baby?" San asked, sitting up just as you managed to stand on your feet and get out of bed.
"I'm just going to get more water, my bottle is empty. Go back to sleep, Sannie. I can manage it on my own." You giggled and put on your house slippers.
"I can get it for you, baby. I should have filled up your bottle for you before going to bed." He said.
"San, it's really okay. I can get my own water. And you did fill up my bottle, I just drank it all." You assured with a soft smile.
"Okay, call me if you need help." San told you. You hummed and left your shared bedroom to go to the kitchen. He didn't go back to sleep, he just sat there, waiting for a bit before going to help you.
"Sannie, do you want coffee?" You asked.
"I'm good, baby. I want you back in bed with me." He replied. He could hear you laughing.
CLANG!
"Baby!" San shot out of bed and rushed to the kitchen. You were standing there, the glass of water that was in your hand was shattered on the ground. You winced, knees starting to wobble as you held your back.
"Sorry." You groaned amidst the pain that you were in. Now San was worried you hurt yourself.
"It's okay, it's okay. Come. Careful." Holding both your hands in his, San guided you over the broken glass. He was grateful you were wearing the slippers Seonghwa bought you.
"Did the glass get you?" He sat you down and checked you, looking for any signs that you were cut from the glass.
"No, it hurts." You held your back.
"Braxton Hicks?" He bent down in front of you, helping you to rub your back. San knew that you have been having Braxton Hicks since you were going into labour soon.
"No, Sannie. I think it's real. The Braxton Hicks have never hurt so badly and it never reaches my back." You groaned.
"Oh........ OH!" It took a while for your words to sink in as San jumped to his feet.
"We should go to the hospital. Or should I call an ambulance? What should I do?!" He asked.
"Sannie, calm down. It's okay, breathe. It just started so we don't have to go to the hospital yet. But I should start timing how long they last and the intervals between them." You squeezed his hand as you reminded him of what the doctor told you, trying to maintain a smile as you felt him beginning to panic.
"Right, right. I'll help you. Let me clean up the glass first." San was reluctant to let go of your hand but the broken glass on the floor was a hazard to both you and him.
"I'm sorry I made a mess and can't even help clean it up." You sighed.
"No need to apologise, baby. You're in labour. You just focus on yourself and princess." He looked at you with an excited smile.
"You're such a goof." You chuckled. San shot you a flat look with a playful pout before returning back to cleaning. After he was done, San escorted you back to bed to rest.
"Are you timing your contractions? Are they getting more intense?" He asked as he retrieved towels.
"Still manageable." You groaned.
"Alright, come here, baby." San laid out the towels for them, knowing you would be stressed out if your water broke all over the sheets and the mattress.
"Careful. Easy..." He cooed, adjusting your pillow for you so you were comfortable.
"Shall I get you some food? A drink?" He asked.
"No but after the princess comes, I want a big coffee. A BIG coffee, Choi San." You held his collar to show how serious you were. With your pregnancy, you had to severely cut down on your coffee intake, which you did not really like.
"Of course, baby. Anything you want." He kissed the top of your head and went out to the kitchen to fix you snack. You did your best to stay distracted, watching San fancams on your iPad.
"Hey! I'm here!" You heard noises outside and put the iPad down. In came Wooyoung with a big grin.
"So, how's my god daughter doing?" He asked, reaching over to hug you.
"She's not here yet but soon, she'll be here in our arms. Just a little more." You chuckled, patting his back. Wooyoung was also very involved in your pregnancy.
"Even with the man right here, in the flesh, you're still watching his fancams?" He raised an eyebrow, seeing your iPad.
"It distracts me, okay?" Your cheeks heated up, closing the iPad before San could come in.
"Well, it definitely distracts you in one way because that's how my god daughter got here. And perhaps my future god children." He teased and you slapped his arm in embarrassment.
"Anyway, I brought you some food. San's too panicked to cook now but you should get some food in you." He told you. You laughed and nodded your head. Just then, San came in with a tray, plating up the food that Wooyoung had brought along with him. He placed it on the bed for you.
"Come on." Both San and Wooyoung helped you sit up properly so you could eat, even if San insisted on feeding you.
"Ah... Damn it." You cursed under your breath as another contraction hit you. San rubbed your back and let you squeeze his hand until the wave of pain would pass.
"So, how long can this last? Or rather, how long should it last until you go to the hospital?" Wooyoung asked.
"Dude, did you not read the parenting books I got you?" San asked his best friend in disbelief.
"Look, I tried my best to read two! I couldn't continue reading the other five." Wooyoung groaned and whined. You laughed and patted San's shoulder.
"It's fine. Basically, we time how long they last and the intervals between them. Then we go to the hospital." You replied.
"I already texted our OBGYN that the labour has started. She's ready when you are." San informed.
"When I am ready? More like when your daughter is ready." You chuckled. San cooed and kissed your temple. Even if you were full, you tried to eat at least half of what Wooyoung brought you. And you made sure both Wooyoung and San ate too.
"Trust me, you'll both need your energy too." You told them, holding the wall and slowly walking around. San had his bowl in his hand, his other hand held out to support you in case you fell.
"San, eat your food. It's fine, I'll manage on my own for a few minutes." You assured.
"No, I'd rather just be here by your side." He shook his head as he chewed his food.
"Is your go bag packed?" Wooyoung asked.
"Oh, I need my phone charger and the book from my nightstand." You replied. San was going to go but Wooyoung held his hand out to stop him, going into your room to retrieve the items for you.
"Don't know if you're going to be able to get much reading done with the princess here." San laughed.
"That's why I have you and Woo, right?" You joked.
"That's right. I am not leaving my princess' side." Wooyoung declared as he came out with your items, tucking them into the bag that you had packed and ready on the couch.
"You mean, my princess." San corrected with a glare. Wooyoung rolled his eyes. You laughed with a shake of your head. If the two were already fighting before your daughter was born, you can only imagine how much worse it was going to be when she actually gets here. Not the mention, the 6 other uncles waiting.
"She's not even here yet and you two-" You stopped mid sentence as you felt a pop.
"What?" San asked in confusion and worry. Until you both looked down and saw the trickle of liquid go down your leg.
"I think now's a good time to go to the hospital." San said and you nodded, feeling your cheeks heat up. You were frozen in your spot as the trickle was consistent.
"Text my parents. Tell them her water broke and we're going to the hospital now." San told Wooyoung as he pulled on clothes and grabbed you a hoodie that he knew would keep you comfortable.
"What's wrong, baby? Does it hurt?" San frowned, wondering why you haven't moved.
"It's dripping..." You mumbled, hiding your face in your hands.
"Hey, it's okay. It's okay, it's normal." San hugged you, rubbing your back. Tears welled up in your eyes, you didn't know what was happening, you just couldn't handle it.
"It's so embarrassing, I'm going to die." You cried. Even if you expected this to happen and knew it was going to happen, it still felt so embarrassing to have your bodily fluids leak out of you, especially in front of Wooyoung.
"(y/n), listen to me. This is normal, you're giving birth. There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Wooyoung assured.
"It's alright, hmm? Don't worry." San kissed your cheek, wiping your tears away. You nodded tearfully and squeezed San's hand as he slipped your shoes on for you and guided you out of the house.
"Careful, easy." San placed a towel on the passenger seat for you to sit before loading up the car and driving to the hospital.
"Oww..." You took deep breaths, feeling the pain become more intense and frequent.
"Sir, you can't park here." The guard said as San stopped his car.
"I know! I know! But my wife is in labour, can you help her? I'll move my car right after." San came out and opened your door. He watched as the guard called nurses to come with the gurney.
"I'll see you inside, baby." San squeezed your hand. You nodded and shot him a small smile before he got in the car and went to park.
Of course, you were slightly freaked out that you were now alone and without San, you were scared and nervous. But a part of you didn't want to make him panic even more so you took a deep breath and tried your best to calm yourself down, telling yourself that he'll be back by your side soon.
"Hey, (y/n)." Your OBGYN came into your delivery room. Since your water broke, the nurses brought you to the delivery room right away instead of checking you into a ward.
"Dr Min, I'm glad to see a familiar face." You smiled tearfully.
"Hey, I'm here for you and your baby. You're in safe hands." She patted your shoulder and began to check you.
"San's parking the car but he said he got you up to speed on everything? My brain's just a little foggy now." You admitted honestly, watching her put on her gloves.
"Yes, he did. Don't worry. I'll just check you now to see how dilated yet." She told you.
"I'm here! Is she born yet?!" San burst into the room, breathing heavily. The nurses in the room giggled at his outburst.
"Sannie, shhh. No, she's not born yet." You chuckled, opening your arms for him. As San made his way over, he smiled at Dr Min and gave you a hug.
"Looks like we're getting there but not yet. We'll have to wait a little more." Dr Min said, standing back up and removing her gloves to throw them into the bin. You let out a long, defeated sigh and San stroked your head.
"Thanks, Dr Min." San bowed his head.
"Don't be discouraged. Baby girl will be here soon." Dr Min smiled softly at you. You nodded and waved as she left the room. San pulled up a chair so he could stay by your side as the wait began.
"Are you sure you don't want anything for the pain?" San asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm okay. It's all on our princess, we'll wait until she's ready." You said, reaching up to hold his face in your hands.
"But you're in pain and I don't like seeing you in pain." He kissed your hand. One of the options that you and San had discussed was inducing or speeding up the birth but you wanted to push through.
"You're so strong, baby. You're a good omma." He smiled softly, rubbing the back of your hand with his thumb.
"You do whatever makes you feel comfortable, okay? It's your decision." He assured.
"Thanks, Sannie. I just feel better with you here." You said. There was no other person you would rather have a child with. San was always there for you, always supportive and encouraging. He never pushed you to do anything you didn't want to do, he trusts your instinct and decisions for both yours and your daugher's wellbeing.
"You know I'll always be here for you and for the princess." He pressed your hand against his cheek.
"I just want her to be okay." You teared up. Hearing your suddenly serious words, San stood up from his seat, leaning over you. His eyes searched yours.
"Hey, hey. Where's all this coming from? Baby, you'll be okay. Both you and princess will be okay. I've got you both." He frowned.
"I know, I just suddenly feel so scared." You rubbed your eyes like a little child crying to her parent.
"It's normal to be scared. But don't be. Dr Min and everyone will take care of you." He comforted. As another contraction hit, you winced and squeezed San's hand. He rubbed your back soothingly.
"Let me get you some water. Breathe, baby." San poured cold water into a cup for you and held the straw out for you to drink.
"Thank you." You coughed slightly and grabbed a towel you bought to wipe your tears and sweat.
"Princess, I know you're comfy in there but omma is dealing with a lot of pain. Be a good girl and make it easy for omma." San said, pressing his ear to your stomach like he always did throughout the pregnancy. You ran your fingers through his hair.
"Ooh, she did not like that." San chuckled as both you and him felt her move and kick where his ear was. San pouted at your daughter but still planted a kiss to your belly.
"I'm gonna miss her kicks." San pouted at you.
"Alright, I don't know what you're implying but slow down, cowboy." You pushed his forehead.
A few more hours passed with San staying by your side and helping you through the contractions. Your parents and San's parents came, both mothers making sure you were okay and comfortable.
"Okay, omma. Let's see where baby girl is at." Dr Min came in again. San wiped the sweat off your forehead for you.
"Looks like we're ready to start pushing." Dr Min's head popped up.
"We'll be outside. Call us if you need anything." Your mom and Mrs Choi said, leaving the room to give you and San some privacy. They didn't want to overwhelm you further.
"I've got you okay? Don't be afraid, you can do this, baby. I know you can." San looked down at you and you nodded. With the guidance of your OBGYN, you began to push. San squeezed your hand and you tried your best to push. Even when you got tired, all the staff were encouraging to you.
"I can see the head. You're doing great, (y/n). Just a little more." Dr Min told you.
"She's out, she's out." Dr Min announced and clamped the cord, separating your baby from the placenta. You both watched as she handed the baby to the nurse practitioner.
"She's here." San excitedly looked over but still remaind by your side. Even as your daughter let out her first big cry.
"Go, see your princess, comfort her." You patted his hand. All you had to do was deliver the placenta.
"Cut here." The nurse handed San the scissors to cut the umbilical cord. He couldn't even stop the huge grin from forming on his face as he watched his daughter.
"Hi there, it's okay. Appa's got you." San cooed as the nurse placed the baby in his arms.
As much as San wanted to hold her longer, he knew skin to skin with you was more important. So he brought her to you immediately.
"She's perfect." San smiled as he lowered her down to you. You smiled tired and weakly, eyes blinking slowly. And before San could release her into your arms, your eyes closed and your head dropped. San's eyes widened in shock.
"She's hemorrhaging! Doctor!" The nurse yelled and Dr Min ran over as the machines beeped in alarm.
"Baby?! (y/n)!" San yelled out in fear. Your daughter began to cry and San felt tears in his eyes too. What was happening? What was going on? All he could see was your pale face.
"BP dropping. Someone take Mr Choi and the child to another room." Dr Min ordered.
"Please, save my wife." San begged as the nurse led him to another room.
"We will try our best, Mr Choi. Dr Min is the best. But now, you need to have skin on skin with your daughter." The nurse advised calmly and San handed the baby to her.
"Like this?" San removed his shirt, letting the nurse lay the baby against his chest. The moment she did, the baby calmed down.
"Please go save her." San cried. The nurse nodded and left the room. His parents and your parents came in, all panicked. Of course, San wanted this to be a joyous occasion, he waited so long to meet his daughter and now she was here, in his arms. But he just couldn't, knowing you were unconscious.
"What happened?" Your mother asked worriedly.
"I don't know. I think they said she's hemorrhaging. She was fine, all she had to do was deliver the placenta. I shouldn't have left her side." San cried.
"San, San. Calm down. (y/n)'s going to be okay. You need to be strong for her and your daughter." Mrs Choi told him.
"Okay." San took deep breaths. He and his daughter seemed to be able to calm each other down.
"She'll be okay." Your mother assured, wiping San's tears. San looked down at the baby that was sleeping on his chest. He gently kissed the top of her head.
"Omma will be okay." He whispered. Soon, another nurse came in with a baby basinet.
"How's my wife?" San asked.
"I'm sorry, sir. I don't know. I need to bring the baby for her checks." The nurse apologised. San didn't want to let his daughter go, even with his mother around, he felt like your baby was the only thing that could comfort him now.
"Can it wait?" San pleaded. The nurse looked conflicted, unsure of what she should do.
"I'm sorry. But if there was a birth complication, we need to check. I promise I'll bring her back as soon as possible." The nurse said. San reluctantly handed the baby to her.
"Mr Choi?" Dr Min came in and San immediately stood up, even when his shirt wasn't fully buttoned up yet.
"Doc, how is she?" San felt like he couldn't breathe.
"She's fine. Out of the woods. Bleeding after birth is normal but she bled a lot. But don't worry, she's okay. She's recovering. I'll need to keep her here for a few days longer though." She informed.
"Of course, anything. We'll stay for as long as she'll need. Thank you so much." San bowed deeply to the doctor.
"Now go be with your wife. I had the nurses send her up to your ward already." Dr Min smiled and San went up to the ward where you were wheeled up to.
When San entered, you were fast asleep, probably tired for the birth and the huge loss of blood. But San knew you were a fighter. He hovered over you and kissed your forehead, feeling another round of tears threaten to fall. Obviously he didn't know the severity of the bleed but he knew he almost lost you.
"I love you. Thank you." He pressed his head against yours. As he took a chair to sit, he held your hand the entire time.
"You did good, baby. You did so good, you deserve to rest. She's perfect, an angel just like you. Sleep for as long as you want." San said to you, even though you were asleep.
When you woke up, you looked around in confusion. Until your eyes fell upon San, walking around with a bundle in his arms, singing softly.
"Look who it is, baby girl." San turned and realised you were awake.
"San..." You began to cry. San put your daughter back in her basinet and came over to you.
"It's okay, you're okay. I got you. I got you." He hugged you tightly, his hand resting on the back of your head. You cried into his shoulder and San felt a lump in his throat too.
"You did so good, baby." San continued to comfort you for as long as you needed.
"Can I see her?"
"Of course you can, baby! You're her mom!" San laughed and went over to pick up the baby that was beginning to fuss. But as San gently laid her on your chest, the baby calmed down. She blinked up at you and you smiled softly.
"Hi there. You're so cute... You're perfect. Did you name her yet?" You cooed and looked up at San, who was smiling at both of you. He shook his head.
"You should name her. You've let me make a lot of decisions in the pregnancy, you should name her." You told him.
"Baby, I let you make those decisions because it was your body, you were the one going through the pregnancy, not me." San laughed.
"But I do have one name that I like. Haeun." He added.
"Haeun, Choi Haeun. I like it. It's perfect for her. Welcome to the world, Haeunnie." You smiled at her. San gave you a kiss then kissed the top of Haeun's head.
Since you woke up, San called Dr Min to come and check on you. At the same time, the nurse taught you how to feed Haeun.
"You gave us a scare earlier but you're fine now, (y/n). Nothing major. However, I was mentioning that I would need you to stay in a little longer just for observations." Dr Min explained. You nodded obediently, too preoccupied with staring at your daughter that was drinking from you hungrily.
"Thanks, Dr Min." You and San bowed your heads as she took her leave. You smiled softly, watching Haeun grasp your finger in her hand as she drank.
"You must have been hungry, my love." You cooed.
"She has a big appetite like her dad." San grinned proudly at you, making you scoff.
After Haeun had her fill, she fell asleep. You couldn't get up so the nurse came in to help you with cleaning her and changing her diaper before wrapping her up in a swaddle.
"Oh, so that's how you do it." San said, looking over at the nurse's actions, his glasses on as he took notes on his phone.
"Hey, grandpa. Can I get a glass of water, please?" You teased. San's head whipped around to glare at you.
"You're lucky you're cute." He glared with a pout as he handed you the water. You grinned cheekily as the nurse placed the swaddled Haeun in the basinet and wheeled her by your side. But San constantly hovered over her.
"Let her sleep. Nothing will happen with her a few inches away from us." You chuckled. You and San enjoyed each other's silence, well it was more like San not being able to take his eyes off Haeun.
"Knock knock." The door opened and Wooyoung poked his head in with the others, all carrying flowers, gift baskets and balloons.
"She's sleeping." San quickly shushed everyone.
"Sorry, overprotective dad over here." You snickered. Hongjoong held up a huge cup of iced coffee for you and you swear you nearly cried at the sight.
"Lifesaver." You whispered gratefully and received the cup in your hands to take a big sip.
"Slow down, baby. You shouldn't finish it in one go." San stopped you, placing his hand to push the cup away from you.
"I pushed a bowling ball out of me. Please just let me have this." You begged. San sighed in defeat and let go, letting you enjoy your coffee. But of course, you did heed his advice and drank slowly.
"Oh my gosh... She's the most perfect little angel." Wooyoung cooed, trying to contain his squeal, leading to him slapping Seonghwa's shoulder. Seonghwa hissed and pushed Wooyoung away. Before they could all get too close, San stepped between them and the basinet, pointing to the sink.
"Wash first." San ordered.
"How are you?" Jongho asked, taking a seat by your side. You assumed San had told everyone about the complication after birth.
"I'm okay now. I think it gave all of us a scare but the doctor stopped the bleeding and I'm fine, just have to stay in here a little longer for observation." You shrugged.
"That's good." Yeosang hummed. You watched as San reluctantly let the boys carry Haeun.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." Yunho cooed over Wooyoung's shoulder.
"I have a feeling everything she does is going to be cute to all of you." You laughed. You trusted San to watch out for Haeun and help the boys properly hold her so you could relax.
"You should rest more. I'm sure you've been through the wringer. We brought you food too." Mingi told you, adjusting your blanket properly. You smiled gratefully, watching Seonghwa take a rice porridge out of the container for you.
"We didn't even ask her name yet." Seonghwa said, wheeling the table close to you so you could eat.
"Her name is Haeun, Choi Haeun." San smiled proudly.
"What a perfect name for a perfect princess." Wooyoung cooed softly at the baby in his arms. After a bit, Haeun woke up and began crying. San patted your hand and went to retrieve her from Wooyoung.
"Don't worry, appa's got you." He swayed, patting her back softly to soothe her.
"He's got it. Eat up, get your energy back." Jongho encouraged. You took a spoon and began eating, glacing over at San and Haeun.
"We should go, give you three time to rest." Hongjoong said, checking his watch. The boys came over to give you hugs while San watched with a frown.
"Stop hugging my wife." He whispered harshly, careful not to disturb the now calm Haeun. Only when he placed her back in the basinet, he happily hugged the members who congratulated him again.
"I can't believe she's finally here. The princess is finally here." San let out little squeaks of happiness as Wooyoung hugged him. Wooyoung nodded with a soft laugh and patted San's back. Everyone was waiting for your baby's arrival, even more so when it was announced that you were having a girl.
"We'll see you soon. Take care." Yunho waved as the boys all left.
"She's asleep, Sannie. You can put her down." You chuckled. San looked up at you with a disappointed smile.
"You can watch her. I want cuddles." You held your arms up. At that, San placed Haeun down and came to you. Luckily the hospital bed was big enough.
"Are you feeling ill? You have to tell me or inform the nurse." He said as you laid on his chest.
"I'm fine, Sannie." You squeezed his arm, snuggling closer to him. San He reached over you and rubbed your back.
"I love you. You did so good, baby. Thank you so much for giving me my princess. Really, thank you. I can't thank you enough." San repeated, planting many kisses on your head.
"There's nothing to thank me for, San. I'm lucky to have you with me and to be the one to have your daughter, you've been the perfect partner. You're such a great dad, she's lucky that she'll have you to raise her." You smiled up at him.
"You always speak so lowly of yourself, my love. I'm lucky to have you and her now. And she has the best mom in the whole wide world. So she's pretty lucky." He said.
"Yeah." You nodded, the both of you looking over at your sleeping child.
"Is it weird that I already love her so much? Like looking at her makes my heart hurts." San asked.
"Not weird, that's called being whipped. Or being a fool for your daughter. She's a few hours old and already has you wrapped around her tiny finger." You lifted up your pinky finger.
"Don't make fun of me." He whined.
"But she's finally here, San. She was inside of me and now, she's right there. She's laying there, sleeping, breathing on her own." You said.
"All thanks to you, baby. Now, you should continue to rest. You're not 100% yet, take all the time you need to recover." San reached over to lower the lights so you could sleep. Since you were still feeling weak, it didn't take long for the tiredness to wash over you and you fell asleep in San's hold.
You were woken up by Haeun's crying but San already jumped out of bed, going to her to scoop her up into his arms. As you turned up the lights, you watched San try to soothe her.
"She could be hungry." You rubbed your eyes tiredly.
"Are you okay to feed her? We can use formula if you still feel weak." San asked with a worried frown.
"I'm fine. I just need the pillow." You said. San nodded and let you carry Haeun while he put the 'U' shaped pillow under Haeun and around your waist so you wouldn't have to carry her full weight.
"Is this okay?" San asked, adjusting the pillow properly. You hummed and fed a fussing Haeun.
"Good girl, Haeun. It's okay." You stroked her head as she drank from you hungrily.
"My poor baby must be tired." San came and reached over, cupping your cheeks. You smiled tiredly, knowing that this is going to be your routine for a while. But it was comforting to see Haeun peacefully drinking and staring up at you.
"Awww, now you're nice and full, aren't you, angel?" You cooed as she released you so you could cover yourself up. Since you were still feeling weak, San helped you with changing her diaper.
"Post birth poops are awful." You groaned.
"Nonsense, my princess' poop doesn't smell at all." San grinned dreamily, cooing at Haeun who squirmed.
"There we go. All done." San gently lifted her up, pressing a kiss to her cheek before placing her back into your arms. Haeun stared at you and you smiled at her.
"Your dad has become such a fool for you, hmm?" You tapped her cheek and she grasped your finger.
"Don't call me a fool in front of her." San scoffed. You smiled cheekily and San reached over to pinch your cheeks for teasing him.
"She's asleep." You shushed San.
"You should sleep too, baby." San waited for you to be ready to hand Haeun over him. Once you did, he placed her back into the basinet and tucked you back into bed, getting in beside you. He couldn't sleep without you by his side too. San softly sang to you until you fell back to sleep.
And over the next few days, San took great care of you and Haeun. He prioritised your recovery and took over so many tasks, making sure you were not pushing yourself.
"Hello?" Wooyoung came in.
"Shh, they both just went to sleep." You said from your spot on the couch, nodding over to where San was asleep in your hospital bed.
"Stealing the patient's bed?" Wooyoung tilted his head with a snort as he looked at his best friend. Despite being asleep, San's hand rested on the edge of Haeun's basinet.
"How are you?" Wooyoung asked, sitting beside you.
"A lot better. Can't wait to discharge tomorrow. But I couldn't have done it without Sannie, he's been taking great care of us." You smiled.
"He is a good partner and dad." Wooyoung agreed with a hum. With San and Haeun sleeping, Wooyoung decided to cut up some fruit for you to eat.
"I'm grateful that Haeun is such an angel baby and I'm not just saying that because I'm her mother. She's so patient and loving, rarely cries except for milk or diaper changes. But I can 100% say, she's a daddy's girl for sure." You giggled.
"Of course she is. San must be ecstatic." Wooyoung rolled his eyes.
"I haven't seen the smile leave his face since the day she was born. Everything she does, he thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread." You smiled at a sleeping San.
"He's a fool for her already. But I can't blame him, she's perfect." Wooyoung shrugged and you pushed his shoulder.
"You are just as big of a fool for her." You accused. But deep down, you were glad that Haeun is going to grow up with love from everyone.
"Look who is awake." You were washing your hands when you realised Haeun had woken up and was just laying there without making a fuss.
"Uncle Wooyoung is here to see you, baby." You lifted Haeun out of the basinet and kissed her cheeks.
"Ack. Luckily we're in a hospital because she's going to give me a heart attack." Wooyoung fangirled as you placed Haeun in his arms.
"Haeun." San shot up, having realised the basinet moved slightly from when you picked Haeun up. His sudden movement had made you jump. He sat up and looked around in slight panic, only to see Wooyoung holding Haeun. He let out a sigh of relief and you went over, standing between his legs.
"She's fine, appa. Wooyoung's got her." You chuckled, running your hands through his messy hair. San put his arms around you to hug you and pressed his face against your middle.
"I didn't even know I fell asleep." He murmured.
"You've been working so hard, taking care of us. You deserve to rest too, Sannie." You comforted him.
"Look at your parents. They're gonna make uncle Woowoo puke." You both looked up to see Wooyoung talking to Haeun, holding her in a way that elevated her to see you two.
"She's smiling." You pointed at Haeun's brief, lopsided smile.
"She just loves uncle Woowoo the most." Wooyoung cooed. San didn't take too well to that comment and marched over.
"My baby." He emphasised, taking Haeun out of Wooyoung's arms. He smiled down at her, planting a kiss to her head. You just shook your head at them.
When it was time to feed Haeun, Wooyoung took his leave. As you sat against the headboard to feed Haeun, San massaged your feet, noting that your ankles were still slightly swollen so he put on compression socks for you.
"Are you still feeling sick?" He asked worriedly.
"No, I feel fine actually. So we can go home tomorrow." You smiled excitedly, looking down at Haeun.
"A-Are you sure? Because if you don't feel right, you should stay for a few more days until you're sure you're 100% well again. Maybe we should speak to Dr Min." San suggested.
"Sannie..." Luckily Haeun finished feeding so you could put her back in her basinet. You moved closer to San.
"What's wrong, Sannie?" You cupped his cheeks with a concern frown. You searched his eyes and all you saw was fear in them.
"I was just really scared. When you lost consciousness, there was so much blood. The doctor and nurses were rushing..." San struggled to breathe and you hugged him, letting him lean on your shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Sannie..." You hugged his head.
"I thought I was going to lose you..." He muttered softly, hands gripping your waist. You rarely see San cry so seeing him cry and be so vulnerable around you was indicative of how scared he really was. And for San, he always believed that he has to be your rock so he really tried to keep it in.
"You've been through a lot too, Sannie. But we're here for you, both me and Haeun. You don't have to go through this alone." You stroked the back of his head.
"You won't lose me, lose us, so quickly. I love you." You lifted his head and gave him a kiss, caressing his cheek.
"I love you too." San wrapped his arms around you, pulling you to sit on his lap.
"Baby girl's smiling at us." San chuckled. You lifted your head from his chest to see Haeun looking at the both of you, squirming in her wrap but her head turned to smile at you and San.
"Our baby. That's our baby." You smiled softly and San turned his head to meet your eyes, nodding in agreement.
"I still can't believe she's here. No more talking to her through the tummy." San chuckled.
"Well, before you know it, she'll be able to reply to you when you actually talk to her." You said. At your words, San held his chest dramatically, squeezing his eyes shut like he was going to implode at the thought of Haeun growing up.
"Alright, appa... Breathe. Don't have a heart attack here or I'll need to call the nurses." You patted his arm. San pursed his lips and just pressed a kiss to your shoulder.
"Thank you so much, Dr Min." You said as you hugged the doctor, who patted your back.
"Take care of yourself, (y/n)." She chuckled.
"Do we have everything? I feel like we're forgetting something." You heard San in your room, trying to pack up everything, making you and Dr Min giggle.
"You and baby girl will be just fine." Dr Min squeezed your shoulder and left while you entered your ward.
"Everything okay in here?" You asked.
"Just fine, baby. Whatever we forget, we can buy again. As long as I have princess and you, that's most important." San grinned, holding the baby carrier basket with Haeun sleeping soundly inside.
"Want me to carry her? Or get the bags?" You offered. San shook his head, holding Haeun away from you as if you will steal her and run. Even if the doctor cleared you, San didn't believe you were entirely recovered so he didn't want you doing any heavy lifting or anything strenuous. You just walked beside him.
"Also, baby. Even though the news is out that baby girl is born, KQ says that they'll do whatever it takes to keep her picture and name out of the press." San informed.
"Great, remind me to send them a thank you basket." You chuckled as you both walked to the car.
"Are you excited to finally go home with us, princess?" San cooed to Haeun.
"You're asleep and probably don't care as long as there's milk, right?" He continued to talk to her as he loaded the basket into the car seat inserts that he had already installed previously.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." You adjusted her blanket as you sat in the backseat with her while San drove.
"She's cute doing anything, please. She's our child, of course she's cute." San scoffed from the front seat and you shot him a flat look.
You stifled a laugh to yourself, imaging how things are going to be when Haeun grows up, she'll definitely be leading her father by his nose. Well, in his defense, he did warn you about how he would be if you got pregnant with a girl.
"We're home, princess. Home sweet home." San cooed as he helped to remove the carrier from the seat clips. You unlocked the door to your home and took a deep breath.
"Feels good to be home." You let out a content sigh. San chuckled and leaned over to kiss your cheek.
"I need a shower." You groaned. San hummed and let you go. But you didn't want to shower too long, wanting to relieve San for a bit.
"Sannie, I'm-" You came out of the shower to see him fast asleep on the couch, sitting up and holding Haeun to his chest, who was also still asleep.
"Aww, look at you two." You whispered and took your phone to snap a picture, a smile on your face.
Only when Haeun woke up and fussed then San woke up, immediately patting her back to try and soothe her.
"It's okay, appa. Take a break, I've got her." You smiled and took Haeun from him. San nodded with a tired smile and leaned back into the couch to rest. You leaned over to kiss the top of his head before walking to get Haeun's diaper changed. Then you checked if she was hungry before feeding her, sitting in your rocking chair.
"My love. You are so beautiful." You gently stroked her head as she drank from you. You softly hummed 'Mist' to her with a soft smile on your face.
"Thank you for being born." You giggled.
When she was done, you burped her and walked around with her in your arms, still humming to her.
"Look at your appa sleeping. He's been taking such good care of us, baby. He'll protect you and love you forever, you're such a lucky girl." You spoke to Haeun, who blinked up at you.
"My two girls." San woke up, stretching his limbs and yawning as he caught you and Haeun.
"You should sleep more, Sannie." You said, sitting by him.
"I'm good. You should rest more, the birth and everything must have been tiring on you." He stroked your head. You handed Haeun over to him, letting her rest on his chest.
"I'll heat up some food for our dinner. You should skin on skin with her if you can. Dr Min says it'll help." You patted his thigh and went to the kitchen to heat up the food that your mother and San's mother had helped stock in the fridge.
"Auh, go to sleep, precious. It's okay to sleep. Appa is here." You could hear San speak to Haeun.
"You're really destined to be a girl dad, San." You stood at the kitchen entrance, seeing San coax Haeun to sleep. He sat there, shirtless with the small baby against his chest.
"I am. I am destined to be this girl's dad." San agreed, smiling down at Haeun, who was slowly going to sleep.
"ATINY will eat this up if they saw you." You joked. San rolled his eyes but still posed for you to take a picture of him to save.
"So, we're establishing here that you'll be the one to discipline her while I'm the good one that comforts her when she cries right?" San grinned cheekily.
"We'll see about that." You scoffed.
"Thank you, baby. For all that you did and went through for my princess to be born." San leaned over to kiss you.
"You know despite everything, I would do it again. Couldn't have asked for a better partner and we know this girl is the luckiest little girl in the world with such an amazing dad and 7 chaotic, silly but great uncles who will always dote on her." You smiled softly and laid your head on San's shoulder.
"Yes, she will definitely grow up with a lot of chaos. I mean, look at her godfather. He's the definition of chaos." He chuckled.
You nodded, San was right but you knew the boys, especially Wooyoung, would make sure your little girl grows up with all the love in the world.
And that proved to be right because after a day of hanging out with Wooyoung, Haeun came back home and said her first word.
"Sannie!" She lifted her arms up with the biggest grin on her face.
"What did you say, baby?" You stifled a laugh. She repeated it again and you saw San freeze, unsure of how to react. She didn't call him 'appa' but his name was her first word.
"She said her first word." You reminded San.
"Still..." San gave you a look. He was big on respect and traditions, he didn't want Haeun going around calling him by his first name.
"No, not Sannie, princess. Appa. Can you say 'appa'?" San pointed to himself, bending down to her height so he would be at her eye level. You were having a field day and didn't have the heart to correct Haeun, she was just so cute.
"Sannie!" She giggled bashfully. San playfully lifted her up, making her squeal with laughter.
"I'm going to kill Jung Wooyoung." San turned to you.
"Sannie! Sannie!" Haeun gleefully wrapped her arms around San's neck, burying her face against his chest.

[ a. harumasa x fem reader ]
____________________________________________
" my! if it isn't my favourite classmate from the academy! " you hear harumasa shouts as you quickly turn to the sound of his voice.
he was behind you. must he really be that loud? he's lucky there isn't much people in the store right now. with just his voice and looks he could summon his whole fan base, was that what he was trying to do?
seth awkwardly shuffles in his spot, trying to calm down from the sudden appearance of his senior. sure he saw him and you interacted around the academy but to be his classmate? he's not surprised.
seth clears his throat, thinking of a way to start the conversation properly. he has an hour break, it's best to make the most of it. afterall with a break, he's supposed to be relaxed before he has to go back to patrolling.
" so, whatcha doing? on a date? " harumasa quips as he peeks over you and seth, standing right beside you.
" no, we're not on a date. I'm treating seth because he helped me with a case. " you answered sternly as harumasa pretends to think.
" didn't you owe me for saving you last time, back in the academy? " hearing him say that, you can't help but look over his face. where was he trying to get to?
seth can't help but listen closely. you were everyone's idol back at the academy. a strong, passionate and basically everyone's idol. you weren't one to stand out flamboyantly but your straightforwardness could charm anyone and the way you carried yourself, you were easy to talk to and everyone just adores you for being you.
" y/n senpai owed you something? " seth tilt his head as you throw a quick glance at him before looking back at harumasa. a smirk crawling to his face.
" yes your favourite senpai owed me for saving them back in the academy! I'll get straight to the point. remember when you fell asleep in class and you didn't catch anything from the lesson so I, your saviour and most handsome classmate lent you my notes. you aced the pop quiz the very next day, thanks to me. " he proudly rambles as you tried to recall the scenario.
" well that did happen but weren't a bunch of students after your notes? since I managed to pass the pop quiz and they barely did... " you trailed off as harumasa looks at you confused.
" I saved your butt by telling them to just study hard and not rely on a lazy person like you. they eventually backed off and actually study for the next sudden pop quiz, " you state proudly as you hear harumasa fumed in embarrassment.
" um yeah guess you can count that as payment. but what about that time at H.A.N.D when you couldn't find some documents because someone was after your position as an executive? I stood up for you against your chief! " you can't help but blush at the memory.
your chief was really furious and it did not help the fact that someone from another section led by the person they disliked was saving you. you were going to get fired, but thanks to harumasa, you were even transferred to a much happier section even if your section office was just a few doors away from his. you let out a sigh as harumasa eyes sparkled, knowing he won.
" fine, pick a drink. " he cheers as he scans over the menu quickly, opting to pick the most expensive one. seth chooses his with zero sugar and you picked a simple black coffee.
settling down with everyone's drink. you peek over harumasa as he took a sip from the most expensive drink in the menu, which just so happens to be a sweet vanilla mocha drizzled with caramel and topped with whipped cream.
" um... isn't that a little too sweet for you? " seth questions as harumasa perks up, forcing a smile.
" not really, I can stomach it. I do have a preference for bitter things though. like y/n's love for me~ " you kick him from under the table as seth quickly looks at the pained harumasa confusingly.
" if its too sweet, you can have my coffee. I haven't touch it yet, " harumasa quickly agrees. moving the drinks around as he watches you take a sip from his drink.
even if its sweet, you can't help but feel satisfied. it is nice to treat yourself to sweet things once in awhile especially after working so hard. you barely ate cakes or chocolate in months! for a sweet tooth like yours, it doesn't hurt to feed into it.
" y/n senpai, do you like sweets? " seth ask as you look at him, before drinking more in an attempt to hide your embarrassment.
" well she is a girl so it's understandable for you to like sweet things, " harumasa replies as you can't help but glare at him again.
" it's not just that. sugary stuff has always helped me stimulate my brain. it was hard to keep up with the people from my previous section since the chief was never happy with my works... so I had to redo them alot of times, " you admit.
you feel seth pat your back in an attempt to smooth you and praise your efforts.
" you know seth, me and y/n just shared an indirect kiss. " you can't help but be thrown into a coughing fit, this time seth removed his hands as they watch you try to calm down.
tears prick your eyes as you stare at harumasa hard. a frown on your face as harumasa smiles cheekily.
" if you keep frowning, you'll grow wrinkles. " he pokes your forehead.
" why do you keep bullying y/n? " seth asked when you grab harumasa finger, squeezing it hard in hopes it does some damage.
" she's fun to tease plus I really like her alot and she never seem to reincorporate. "
" can you please shut up for one minute. "
" hey seth, did you know the first time i actually confess to your senpai here but she told me to wait and I didn't get a reply back. its been... 5 years. do you think she's fallen for me by now? " you let go of his finger as he wraps his hand on yours.
" well if you treat her nicely and if you're honest about yourself, maybe she will? " you heave a sigh at seths answer. he's not wrong.
" I did fall for you. many times, but the feelings were quick to disappear whenever you open your mouth. "
" what's that supposed to mean? "
" remember when I transferred to another section, thanks to a certain somebody. they threw a welcome party and invited you. you babbled something about treating me right or you'll beat them up. it has become an inside joke and some people think we're secretly related. why would I fall for my brother? " harumasa bursts out laughing. he didn't even know that happened. seth can't help but laugh along.
once the laugher died down and drinks are finished. the three exits the place. seth went a different direction, leaving you and harumasa alone. you walk with harumasa back to H.A.N.D.
" I do like you a lot. " he confess as a blush slaps itself to your face.
" please give me a chance, " he whispers sincerely.

Obviously Oblivious
Fluff
Soshiro Hoshina x gn!reader
Request from Wattpad: "Reader and Hoshina are being so oblivious that they both like each other to the point where this absolutely annoys Mina and Okonogi because they are ITCHING to see both of them together."
Warnings: none
Another mission done, another celebration was happening at Third Division’s base. Though her subordinates were known for their high success rate, Captain Ashiro was pleasantly surprised by just how smoothly the last kaiju disposal went, opting to treat her soldiers with a special catered feast. Thanks to Izumo’s family connections, the chef served sizzling plates of A6 beef and endless amounts of accoutrements for the standard price, making Mina’s soldiers happy and the military budget even happier. Mina captured a piece of meat between her chopsticks, quietly observing the rowdy group in front of her. Konomi Okonogi sat to her right, a steaming bowl of soup fogging up her glasses. Mina stifled a giggle as she watched the girl wipe her lenses with her sleeve, heavily squinting. Satisfied with her work, Okonogi placed the glasses back on her face and blinked a few times, looking around the room. All of a sudden, her eyes went wide.
“You alright?” Mina asked her, noticing her change in expression.
Okonogi nodded, sputtering slightly. “Huh? O-oh, yeah, I’m fine.”
Mina wasn’t convinced, raising her eyebrows at the bespectacled woman expectantly.
“Well, I…” she hesitated before finishing her thought. “Hoshina and L/n are sitting awfully close together.”
“Does that bother you?”
“Yes!” Okonogi exclaimed, Mina surprised by her outburst. Her face turned beet red as she hurriedly explained herself.
“I didn’t mean it like that, Captain! It’s just that their behavior together is strange. Quite frankly, they’ve been getting on my nerves.”
The operations leader took a sip of her drink and Mina’s curiosity was piqued. Having had her own thoughts surrounding the actions of a certain vice captain and officer, Mina was wondering if she finally found someone she could vent her frustrations to.
“They seem to like each other,” she mused, treading lightly in case she misread the situation.
“Like each other?! Total understatement. Those two are hopelessly in love but won’t do a thing about it!” Okonogi complained, irritated.
“I thought I was the only one that noticed!” Mina replied, excited that the woman beside her was the perfect confidant she’d been yearning for. “They drive me crazy with their cluelessness!”
“Exactly! I don’t know how they don’t see their feelings for each other! I mean, they’re blinder than I am without my glasses! It’s ridiculous!”
“I don’t usually condone relationships in the workplace but those two really are perfect for each other,” said Mina, eyeing you and Soshiro as you giggled over something he had whispered to you. It made Mina’s heart soar in her chest seeing people experience happiness in these moments, when the death and destruction you all faced almost every day could be forgotten for a short time.
“Oh my god, Captain.” Okonogi tugged at Mina’s sleeve. “I think Soshiro’s gonna put his arm around y/n’s shoulder!”
“No way,” Mina breathed out, anxiously watching as Soshiro scooted closer to you, if that were even possible. He looked fidgety.
Probably nervous, Mina thought, staring down the lovebirds. Soshiro was ready to make his move. He brought his hand over his mouth—
He wasn’t going to do that. Was he?
“OH MY GOD!” Mina practically yelled as Soshiro faked a yawn, stretching his muscular arm behind you and resting it comfortably on your chair. The room went silent almost immediately, soldiers turning to see what was going on with their captain.
“That food was really hot,” Mina lied, trying to hide her embarrassment behind a napkin. “I’m fine. Everyone, back to what you were doing.”
In an instant it was like nothing happened, rambunctious chatter filling the space once more. You and Soshiro weren’t phased either, easing back into what Mina figured was your previous conversation. Soshiro’s arm was still around you and Mina was relieved that she didn’t jeopardize this huge stride in your non-relationship.
“What a classic move,” Okonogi said, resting her chin in her palm. “If that wasn’t enough to make them realize their feelings, I don’t know what will.”
“Don’t underestimate their ability to be emotionally unaware,” warned Mina, shaking her head. “I wouldn’t be surprised if y/n read that as a friendly gesture. They’re both oblivious to romance.”
“They’ve made that quite clear,” griped Okonogi, observing you holding up a spoon to Soshiro’s lips as he took a bite of whatever you offered him. You were laughing with each other again and Okonogi was confused at how any of that behavior could be so deeply misconstrued as anything other than flirtatious.
“Should we do something about this? I don’t know how much more I can take,” Okonogi said.
“I worry it may be unprofessional to get involved, however helpful our interference might be,” replied Mina.
Okonogi sighed. “You’re right. Besides, it is pretty fun to watch this play out. It’s like a soap opera.”
Later that night, Mina and Okonogi were about to say goodbye to one another after making sure no soldier was left passed out at the dining tables. With dinner cleaned up and everybody walking or stumbling back to their rooms, they closed the door and made their way down the abandoned hallway.
Actually, they made their way down what they thought to be an abandoned hallway.
The two women shared a knowing look when they heard stifled giggles echoing from around the corner.
“You’re always so funny, Soshiro,” your voice rang out, and Mina and Okonogi could only imagine the sickly sweet smile you were giving the man.
“Gotta stay on top of my game to keep ya around,” he teased, and they could only image the lovesick grin he was sending your way.
“It’s getting late. I should get going,” you told him.
“Yeah, you’re probably right. I’ll see ya tomorrow?”
Mina and Okonogi didn’t miss the hopeful lilt coating his voice.
“Of course,” you had replied. “I’d miss you too much if I didn’t see you.”
It took everything within themselves to not slam their heads against the wall. How were you two so… so…
Dumb?!
“That’s it. I’ve heard enough,” Okonogi said, marching down the corridor. Mina had no idea what was about to happen, she just knew she couldn’t miss it. She hurried behind Okonogi, rounding the corner at the perfect time.
“Both of you! You’re driving me insane! Kiss already, dammit!” Okonogi demanded, startling you and Soshiro. She left as quick as she came in, leaving Mina dumbfounded.
“Have a good night,” she told you, hands awkwardly clasped behind her back as she nodded before hurrying away. Recovering from the unexpected chewing out, you glanced at Soshiro, a mischievous gleam in your eye.
“Okonogi’s never given us a bad command, has she?” you asked, hoping he understood what you were getting at.
“Our impeccable Operations Leader has never led us astray, you’re correct,” he responded, his fangs glinting in the dim light. His hands found purchase on your hips while yours rested on the back of his neck, the distance slowly lessening between your bodies. As your lips began to touch his, you realized you owed Okonogi big time for her help.

Summary: the BAU participate in a company baseball game but you aren’t able to play due to an injury from work so you cheer on Spence and the rest of the team.
It was like 199° outside; fahrenheit or celsius, it didn’t matter. all you knew was that it was hot as balls out and you had to sit out there to watch the rest of the BAU participate in a baseball game against another department from work.
You aren’t able to play due to an injury you sustained while in the field a week ago when the team was working on a case. It was basically due to clumsiness that you’re out of the game for a while. You managed to twist your ankle very badly. so you find yourself sitting on the sidelines, in hot ass weather, watching all your colleagues play an “exciting” game of baseball. Of course, you didn’t necessarily have to be there. You were there just to cheer on your favorite person. Although, he wasn’t the most athletic person out on the field, you hate to admit. But he was trying his best and you were proud as hell.
Spencer had been nagging you about how to play well in today's game, considering you used to play in high school and college. You tried to help him out the best you could but, at some point you two had to admit that it would take a miracle for Spencer to be a standout player out on the field. So you helped him by making sure he could make some contributions to the team with simple skills.
It was now almost the end of the game and spence was killing it. When you first sat down to watch the game, you were scanning the field for him and when you found him, you shyly hid from him, using your baseball cap as a shield to hide your blushing smile. You loved watching him from the sidelines, just cheering him on and screaming til your lungs hurt when he managed to hit the ball with the bat. You were so incredibly proud of how well he was playing. that was your man, and you couldn’t be happier. It felt like high school, being in the stands and cheering on your boyfriend who’s out on the field playing the most intense game you’ve ever seen. This love felt so lively and carefree, it was just love.
Every time you cheered for him and screamed, you could see his pink cheeks blushing harder each time, his eyes twinkling in the blink of an eye.
The game ended with the BAU team winning by a longshot, which was honestly surprising. You weren’t gonna lie, your team was pretty fit and in shape, but their baseball skills were questionable, but they pulled through and you were so proud.
After the game, the whole team went to a bar close by to celebrate and just hang out. The night was filled with laughter and teasing banter. Each one of them was absolutely battering the other for something that happened during the game. Everyone’s favorite moment though was when Spencer hit the ball quite far, and he decided that once he’d run the bases, he was gonna do a little dance and point to you to celebrate his amazing performance. The whole thing had you beaming with pride and joy.
While the team were speaking amongst themselves, you wanted a moment with just Spence.
“Tell me about the first time you saw me.” you’d said, head resting in the palm of your hand as you looked up at him.
He pursed his lips before speaking, “Well, it was your first day at the BAU. You put up this front that you were confident and that you already knew everything. But I know that wasn’t true.”
“What do you mean?”
“You kept tugging on your clothes as if they were choking you. You also kept fiddling with your bracelet. You know, you’re not very good at hiding your feelings for a profiler.” he laughed.
“Yeah, well, sorry, we can’t all be amazing profilers who can hide every little thing from everyone.” you let out a giggle.
“But I was also thinking about how pretty you are. Felt like I couldn’t breathe when I first saw you. You’re mesmerizing. It was like I was watching an angel appear before me. And I thought you were so cool. I mean, the way you carried yourself was impressive. I didn’t expect you to be so nice either. Your resting face makes you look a bit mean, but turns out you’re the nicest and most kind hearted person to exist.”
You turned to face away from him, trying to hide the fact that he was making you so flustered.
He moved to bring your eyes back to his, gently cupping the side of your face til he could see you again. Fuck. He had you wrapped around his finger and he knew it too. But you didn’t care. You would do anything for him.
The night ended with everyone heading home after a few drinks. You and Spence were walking to your car, hand in hand, just in a comfortable silence. He walked you to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for you. You thanked him and got in the car. Once you were nicely in the car, Spence closed the door and rounded the car til he reached the driver side and went in.
You two sat there, just staring at each other for ages. You couldn’t fathom that he was real, that he loved you, and that he was right in front of you. There was no doubt in your mind about him.
Spence broke eye contact to look around the parking lot to make sure the team weren’t watching before he pulled you close to him and kissed the life out of you. He’d grabbed the collar of your shirt and pulled you so close. His lips tasted of the mojito he’d drank, so minty and fresh. Lips so soft, you wondered if he’d applied chapstick before leaving the bar. You moved your hand to rest on the side of his neck, just to feel him. His hand moved up from your shirt collar to the back of your head, deepening the kiss. God, you were practically melting into him. It was getting hard to breathe but you didn’t want to stop.
No one’s ever had you like he did, and no one ever would. This was it for you. He’s the one you're gonna marry and spend the rest of forever with. He was your sun.

My In-Depth Review of Sonic X Shadow Generations (Spoilers!)
I completed Sonic X Shadow Generations so I'm ready to talk about it! Remember, these are just my personal opinions about the game, so don't take this review as me saying that my opinion is "right." I'd hate to accidentally spoil the game for you, so all my thoughts are below the cut:
Did you mean to click "Keep Reading"? I warned you, there's gonna be spoilers here! One last chance to back out...
🖤
❤️
🖤
❤️
Okay here we go!
THE SHADOW PORTION
Let's start with what we've all been hyped about: the Shadow portion of Sonic X Shadow Generations. If you single out the Shadow story of this game, I think it is an absolute masterpiece! Everyone who worked on it gave it their all, and it clearly shows. I'd give it a 9.75/10.
THE GRAPHICS
The visuals of this game are STUNNING. These new models for Maria and Gerald Robotnik are perfection! I am so glad they went with the more 'cartoon' style for the human models, similar to what we saw in Sonic Unleashed. They feel like they belong in this world among these peculiar looking anthropomorphic animals, but they aren't so odd looking that they feel goofy. They found a perfect balance and I couldn't be happier with them. Speaking of character models, to see all the bosses throughout the years in this new high definition was a sight to behold! Though I do feel nostalgia for the lower-poly version of the Biolizard, it was great to see it as the creators originally envisioned. It went from this loveable (and admittedly silly-looking) salamander to a truly intimidating and disturbing looking beast. The animation is superb. The characters move so fluidly and the poses are dynamic and striking! The frame rate makes everything look and feel fast and smooth which is exactly what you'd hope for in a Sonic game. I also appreciated the variety of poses/animations even just for the different stage ranks. I found myself purposely replaying stages to get different ranks just so I could see the different animations Shadow had regarding his "performance" evaluation. That really adds to the replay value! I am a graphic designer for a living, so of course I have to gush about the design, too! The graphic elements that appear before, during, and after each stage are straight up BADASS! I love the 2D animated flame that appears along the stage name and the color scheme and sharp lines are so appropriate to Shadow, and are a very strong contrast to Sonic's graphic elements that are colorful and round in shape. These are small details that most people might not outright notice, but it really enhances the overall aesthetic of the game.
THE STORY
LOOOOORE! Sweet nectar of the gods, we were given so much more lore with this game! Even though the Shadow portion of this game was fairly short, they jam-packed a ton of information and I am forever thankful for it! If you didn't do so while playing, I highly recommend playing again and talking to the NPCs regularly for little nuggets of lore. I was initially worried that this was going to be a rehash of the same 'origin' story we've heard a dozen times already, but that was not the case! Instead of focusing entirely on the tragedy that happened on the ARK, we got to learn what life was like on the ARK while times were still good! Learning that Shadow didn't used to be confident at all, to the point where Maria basically doesn't recognize this confident version of him that we've all known him as. And that Shadow never did his homework??? HA! I loved the confirmation that yes, Maria WAS INDEED the person who gave Shadow his name, and the meaning behind it was EVERYTHING TO ME! (Also works so well for my my AU. IYKYK hehehe) Plus all the Robotnik family history?! MARIA HAD A LITTLE SISTER?!?! She'd be old now, if she's even alive, but will we ever meet her? Will Shadow ever meet her (and would he even want to, or does he feel like that chapter of his life is closed now)? What was she like, and how did Maria's death impact her and her parents??? I hope we'll find out some day! Plus getting to learn a little bit more about Gerald's sons was exciting too. Will more Robotnik family members make appearances down the line? What do they think of Eggman's misdeeds? I'm so curious for more! It was heartbreaking in the best way for Shadow to get to interact with Maria and Gerald again, especially knowing he can't do anything to change what will inevitably happen to them. His sense of desperation paired with the growing affects that Doom's powers were having on him really had me worried about what was going to happen to Shadow's state of mind and overall well-being. It was amazing to see the toll it was taking on his body and his mind. In particular, I'm thinking of the scene where Shadow goes to fight Sonic and you see him having to actually restrain himself and go easy on Sonic. I thought it a great scene to demonstrate how easy it would have been for Shadow to just give in to the rage and take Sonic out without hesitation, but his willpower was able to win in the end. I have heard some people saying they're disappointed that Shadow lost his Doom abilities by the end of the story, but I think it made complete sense for the story. Black Doom is insistent that Shadow isn't 'complete' yet and he has to be more like him in order to be 'perfect.' But that isn't true! Shadow is already the ultimate life form, especially because there's more to him than his Black Doom DNA. By rejecting Doom's influence in the end, that was Shadow's true evolution. He's perfect as he is. Obviously I could gush forever and ever about all the Shadow and Maria scenes, but words aren't going to do it justice. It was just so moving to see how different he is when he's with her. In fact, at the end of this game I believe this is the first instance we ever see a true, genuine, heartwarming smile from Shadow and it DEVASTATED ME! We are used to his smirks, but when he's trying to reassure Maria that everything's going to be okay, we get to see him truly smile and we aren't seeing Shadow the Ultimate Lifeform or Shadow the Destroyer/Weapon, we are seeing Shadow the Brother and it felt like the warm embrace of a security blanket. God bless the writing in this game.
THE ACTING
The acting in this game is incredible from a visual and auditory performance. The animators really pushed the acting of the character models and you can feel Shadow's transformations throughout the game and the toll it's taking on his body. The emotions are cranked up to the max and they didn't pull any punches. In the past, Shadow was often limited in his portrayal of emotions, but that wasn't the case in this game at all. We saw anger, we saw resentment, we saw panic and sadness, and affection. There was so much thought put into the shaking of his hands, the gritting of his teeth, the shrinking and dilating of his pupils, all to show what's going on in his head without even resorting to words. SO MUCH ATTENTION was put into how these characters moved and interacted with each other and it truly tugged at my heart strings. There were too many wonderful moments for me to break down, so I will just single out one for now and applaud the creative direction and the animators for these scenes as a whole. There's this moment right near the end of the story, when Shadow is trying to stop Gerald and Maria from disappearing for good. His gestures are wild and panicked, his pupils and irises are small due to fear, but then Maria simply frames his face and rests her forehead against his. It's subtle, but Shadow's eyes widen and then return to their regular size and everything from his stance to how his shoulders fall show what a calming presence Maria has and how she helped (and will continue to help) him find his inner piece. Those performances are going to stick with me forever! Mike Pollock as Gerald Robotnik was truly *chef's kiss* MP is such a fantastic actor with great range. Though his voice is easily recognizable, the manner in which he speaks as Gerald is so different compared to Eggman, that you couldn't mistake the two characters even just by listening. We have been so used to only hearing from the angry, driven-insane-by-grief Gerald that it was so refreshing to get to see and hear the calm, brilliant, caring genius that created The Ultimate Life Form. P.S. I'm going to be crying over hearing Gerald call Shadow "son" for the rest of my life, thank you very much. I don't care about the future crimes he commits, we got to witness Shadow's father in this game and I'm weeping. Kirk Thornton is not my favorite Shadow. That being said, he really gave it his all and I was pleasantly surprised by what he accomplished. One of the performances that surprised me the most was Mephiles! This is a credit to the writers as well as the voice actor. The sense of wild desperation in his voice as he fights to even 'exist' in this timeline was so visceral and terrifying. Sure the other villains had their "I'm the best, this world belongs to me" lines, but Mephiles' voice lines were on a completely different level to me. What a treat! Lastly, if you can, please replay the game in Japanese! Kōji Yusa's performance is STUNNING. Ooh I'm getting shivers just recalling his voice lines while you're playing through the stages. I don't mean to discredit the English voice actors, but I think this game is even better when listening in Japanese. Give it a try yourself!
THE MUSIC
This is a Sonic game we're talking about, of course the music is going to be fantastic! The score did not disappoint one bit. It was great to hear all the callbacks to songs in the past as well as new tracks that were catchy and enjoyable even after playing the stages several times. "All Hail Shadow" has always been one of my favorites, but the new instrumental version used for majority of this game was so haunting and eerie. It was a delight to my ears as well as my emotions.
THE BOSSES
I loved the chosen bosses for Shadow's story. It was great fun to revisit some of the more iconic baddies throughout Shadow's history, and even though some of the gameplay was the same, the battle would then shift and offer the player something new. However, it's actually the boss fights where I dock the game a few fractions of a point. The boss battles were far too easy to defeat, and I actually found them easier and easier as the game progressed. I beat Mephiles and Devil Doom so quickly that I didn't realize their fights were over already. One could argue this was intentional by design. After all, throughout the story Shadow is evolving more and more into the 'perfect' killing machine. It would make sense that the more Doom Abilities he acquires, the weaker these bosses would seem. Still, as a life-long gamer, I appreciate when I have to actually work to achieve the ending of a game. I would have liked more of a challenge.
OVERALL GAMEPLAY
Whether you're roaming about White Space or you're actually playing through stages, the Shadow portion of this game is an absolute blast. Even having played the Shadow the Hedgehog game (which I'm a fan of, btw), I feel like this game really gave you a better feeling of what it's like to be Shadow. I LOVED that I got to use Chaos Control way more than ever before in previous games. If you had the ability to stop time, wouldn't you take advantage of it every chance you could??? The opportunity to use Chaos (and Doom) Spear as frequently as you wanted and Chaos Control almost constantly really shows how formidable of a character Shadow is and just how different it is to play as him compared to playing as Sonic. I loved the 'free-roam' aspect of White Space compared to the 2D version in Sonic's story. Hunting for rocket parts or figuring out how to unlock collectibles was a lot of fun and let the player really explore these new Doom abilities to the fullest. I'll admit that I struggled with navigating some of the Doom abilities, but even so I still had a ton of fun. I already mentioned replay value, but before you even have to go about replaying the game, there is SO MUCH to this portion of the game! The amount of stages, challenges, collectibles within stages, FINDING the unlockables USING the collectibles you obtained from stages, even the mini challenges available AFTER you've completed the key challenges (I'm talking about the bell that's located above the challenge portal), all of it made for a ton of opportunities for play. I found myself wanting to take on every quest instead of begrudgingly going through it just because I'm a completionist.
My biggest gripe is that the game was too short. Am I greedy for wanting more? Probably, but I can't help it. The developers gave us a ton of content in the Shadow story, but I still would have loved to have a full length game of just this gameplay. I managed to complete the Shadow portion in a few hours, and that was even with me leisurely taking my time to get collectibles and get S ranks for stages before progressing through the story. I miss the days where games took much longer to complete. But hey, I'm a nostalgia-prone 33 year old, so I guess that's to be expected of me haha.
THE SONIC PORTION
Here is where Sonic X Shadow Generations loses more points for me, which is a shame because I think it's a great game overall. Admittedly, I was disappointed when I first learned that the Sonic portion of the game was just a remaster of Generations. I had really hoped we were going to receive something new to help elevate SXS Gens as an entirely new game, instead of just "Sonic Gens + Shadow DLC".
Don't get me wrong, the stages in Sonic Generations are fun to play. However, when you go from playing Shadow's story to Sonic's story, Sonic's side drastically pales in comparison in my opinion.
My other complaint is that for a remaster, they really didn't improve Sonic's portion of the game significantly (at least from what I can recall, as I haven't played the original Sonic Generations since it first came out in 2011). This was a missed opportunity to correct more of the drawbacks of the original game. However, I will admit there are some minor changes that were made that I was thankful for. Let's start with the positive before I point out some of the negatives.
THE STORY
As mentioned earlier, I acknowledge that Sonic Generations is just a remaster so it makes sense that the story didn't change much. That being said, there were some small changes that I did really appreciate and helped improve the story. One of the things that always bothered me about the original Sonic Generations was how indifferent/annoyed Sonic was regarding his friends. I mean, the story is about time being erased! His friends and home are literally getting removed from the fabric of time and Sonic seemed more inconvenienced than concerned. In more recent games, the writing has really focused on the value Sonic finds in his friendships and found family. He always has his signature cool, aloof attitude, but I think the writers in recent years have successfully showed just how much he cares about his group, whether the games were serious (Sonic Frontiers) or silly (The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog). The story wasn't drastically changed for Sonic X Shadow Generations, but some altered dialogue and blink-and-you-miss-it edits helped to cut that jackass attitude from the original and gave him more realistic reactions. Especially by having him respond when he rescues everybody this time! It never seemed right when Tails was first rescued and he's trauma dumping on Sonic about how awful the experience was and Sonic just sits there in silence haha. At least in the new version, Sonic reassures Tails that he's safe now. Also, huge kudos to whoever decided to alter that scene where Sonic is shoving Amy away by the face. I always hated that. Ship or not, you don't treat your friends like that when they're throwing you a bday party!
This is me getting nitpicky, but there were a few things I had really hoped they were going to improve, but remained untouched:
THE GRAPHICS
I was never happy with the visuals of this game outside of the stages (the visuals within the stages are great!). The colors are extremely oversaturated and the characters are way too intense and some are even off model (ex: Amy is so blindingly vivid magenta in this game instead of her signature blush pink. What the heck?!). What's worse, the cutscenes during the birthday party scenes are SO GREEN. The light bounces off the neon green landscape and reflects onto the already oversaturated characters, giving them an unappealing green glow. I get that the Sonic world is not realistic, but it felt like the scenery in these cutscenes made it look like we were watching a bunch of toys interacting on a playset instead of characters living in their world. Sure the visuals during the levels are great, but it's a real disappointment when I'm specifically not looking forward to the cutscenes in a game. I wish they would have tweaked that.
THE ANIMATION/GAMEPLAY
I have zero complaints when it comes to Act 1 (the "Classic" version) of the different stages. These look great, play great, and if you've played classic Sonic games then you can appreciate how identical the map of the level is compared to the originals. The issue for me lies in Act 2, aka Modern Sonic's gameplay. For the most part these levels are good, but there were a couple of small things that always bothered me that I was sincerely hoping they'd fix (and they did not). There are portions of Modern Sonic's gameplay that is SO. SLOW. I'm referring to when you are jumping from one Grind Rail to another, or when you are sliding under an obstacle. These animations are so bizarrely slow and make absolutely no sense when your character is running blindingly fast. I don't understand why they didn't use this opportunity to fix those animations. When you're playing the Shadow side of the story, his animations are constantly fast moving and appropriately paced. Why wouldn't they apply these physics to the Sonic side?
As a whole, the Sonic portion of Sonic X Shadow Generations is still a fun game, but I think it could have used a little more attention to help it feel more balanced compared to the Shadow portion.
-
This game also has some notably fun DLC and the promise of more DLC in the future! I have my Sonic side of the story set to the Sonic Adventure Legacy skin and Sonic Jam Legacy skin and they are so CUTE! They win all the nostalgia points! I'll be honest with you, I have never been a fan of Terios' design hahaha. BUT! I love that they made a Terios skin for this game so players have the chance to play as him if you choose and we get to see how he was intended outside of the initial sketches we've all seen. (Still, y'all can keep your Terios skin. I won't touch it LOL!). And I am OVER THE MOON ECSTATIC for the upcoming Movie Shadow addition to the game! I still can't believe they got Keanu Reeves to voice lines for it! I'm sure it will be a small thing, but I am on the edge of my seat to see what that will be like.
-
Overall, I'm super happy with the game as a whole and I enjoyed every minute I played of it!
If you read all of this, thank you for reading! Again, my opinion isn't fact and if you disagree with what I had to say, that's totally fair. And if you haven't played the game yourself, please go play it and see what you think for yourself!

Hi.Is it possible to have Usopp (top) x male reader (bottom).Smut. They have been a couple for a long time. The half-human, half-tiger reader (he has the body of a human but a tail, ears, eyes and stripes of a tiger) and he controls electricity. For the scenario, arriving on an island with the crew, Usopp and the reader decide to go relax and spend a romantic moment in hot springs because it is difficult to spend a romantic moment on the boat (sorry for the spelling mistakes English is not my mother tongue)
All I Need
Usopp x Male!reader, smut, top Usopp, bottom reader, tiger mink reader, I don’t know how hot springs work, not beta read, almost 2k words
“Y/N! Please save me!” Usopp crys, crocodile tears running down his face as he hides behind your back.
“What?!” You yell back in disbelief, looking ahead, your eyes widening as you see a horde of navy folk come towards you.
Reaching for your hand, carefully you pull a yellow bolt from your hand, large and sparkling with energy. “Christ, I can’t leave alone for even a minute, huh, Usopp?”
“What the hell is that?!” Screams a navy soldier, pointing towards the bright thunderbolt held by your bare hands.
You clench the bolt tighter before launching it at the hoard of Navy, striped tail swishing in irritation behind you. “Fuck off!”
Electricity fizzled from one soldier to another, all of them too close to escape the yellow crackle, whipping at their spine and freezing them in their tracks. Not enough to permanently injure them, but you were sure they weren’t getting up anytime soon.
Grabbing Usopp’s hand you start making a run for it, whiskers on your face blowing in the wind. “Let’s get out of here! The Sunny shouldn’t be too far!”
Usopp practically clings on to you, thanking you continuously as you both run for the ship together.
You were so ready to just get off of this crazy island, all you hoped was that the next would be better, hopefully you could finally relax.
And oh how you were glad when that was the case, rushing over to hot springs as soon as the locals told you where they were.
You were not very keen on getting your fur wet a lot of the time, due to you being a tiger mink, but there were just some things in life that even your animal instinct couldn’t control.
Undressing yourself before getting in the water, you sigh softly as the heat of it relaxes your body, every tense muscle that you hadn’t noticed before now unclenching.
It wasn’t long before you lost track of time, just resting up before your ball of energy of a captain was wrapping you up in his schemes again.
It’s quite ironic though you think to yourself, the literal person who has the devil fruit ability to create charged energy couldn’t even keep up with him, where he pulled all of it from you had no clue.
Quickly you were brought out of your thoughts, the dip of water next to you alerting you of someone else in the hot springs.
Your eyes were narrowed when they opened, only relaxing when you saw that the one next to you was Usopp, the only person who could have made the hot springs feel even better in your opinion.
A smile grows on your face, sharp teeth revealing itself to the other man.
He raises an eyebrow at you, relaxing as well in the water. “You know, you’re kinda scary when you smile that wide.”
Immediately your smile drops, an unamused look on your face at Usopp’s words, slapping your hand in the water to splash him.
“Hey!” He yelps, covering his face with his hands before slapping them on the water too, effectively splashing you as well.
Laughing you make your way over to Usopp, planting a kiss on his cheek. “You know, I would have thought you’d be happier to see me,” You say, lightly teasing him.
“I am happy to see you!” He argued back, giving you a pointed look, “Don’t just assume things like that.” He huffs, dipping down in the water, letting himself sink so that only his mouth and lower was submerged.
A smile forms itself on your lips, watching how Usopp pouts underwater like a child.
Eventually his eyes go from the water back to you, his features softening, heart softly hammering in his chest.
Sometimes he can’t help but wonder how he managed to woo someone like you, you’re so amazing and he was just him, it was confusing when he learned that you actually liked him back, but he definitely wasn’t complaining.
“Is there something on my face?” You question, tilting your head in question at him.
Rising from the water he looks at you questioningly, clearly clueless. “No?”
You smirk at his response, “Well there must be, you’ve been staring at me for like a minute.”
He tenses up at this, blush making its way on his almond skin, cheeks darkening nicely.
“Yeah, but that’s because you’re so… you.” He sputters out, looking away from you not sure if his words even made sense, not knowing how to get his thoughts out too well.
You let out a laugh at this, not really surprised by his response, Usopp was always one to get easily nervous. “Thank you?”
At your laughter his gaze flickers back to you, a small chuckle falling from him as well, your laugh contagious to him.
Once your laughter died down you scooted closer to him, resting your head on his shoulder. Allowing the both of you to relax into the water again, a comfortable silence filling the air.
Though that didn’t last for long, you were getting antsy for Usopp’s entirety, not having been able to express your desires to him merely as much as you would have wanted too.
Island after island, issue after issue, being on a ship and not even being able to have a little alone time with your boyfriend was driving you crazy.
Your hand carefully grasps Usopp’s inner thigh, making him jolt from the sudden touch, his cheeks burning as he looks at you incredulously.
“Really? Here? What if someone comes?” He quickly questions, an obvious nervousness to him.
Burying your face in the crook of his neck you let out a small whine, leaving soft kisses on his wet skin. “Please? We haven’t been able to in a while.”
He lets out a sigh, just deciding to go along with it, after all it had been far too long, and he wasn’t risking potentially getting caught by the crew by waiting to be back on the Sunny.
With a soft voice he finally speaks up, still embarrassed about talking about such subjects even though you’ve done it countless times. “Oh, fine.”
At this you perk up, happy that Usopp was caving in to you. Leaning up you catch his lips in a kiss, closing your eyes as you tilt your head to accommodate for his long nose.
Usopp practically melts into the kiss, a content sigh leaving his nose, deepening the kiss after a few seconds.
Hands grasp at your waist, rubbing into it. Letting go of Usopp's thigh you bring your hands out of the water, wrapping them around his neck to bring him closer.
When you ran out of air you pulled away, softly huffing to regain control of your breath, eventually leaning back in for another one.
It was loving and passionate, a mix of longing in it from being deprived of this sensation for so long, both of you so desperate for one another.
Pulling away again you huff a laugh as you feel Usopp shyly grab your legs, wrapping them around his hips.
Carefully he pushes you up against the outskirts of the hot spring, not wanting to hurt you.
You watch as Usopp works gently on you, his half hooded eyes always flickering towards your face to make sure you weren’t uncomfortable, one of his hands came to rest on your hip, the other going down to your ass.
Your striped tail swishes in interest, rubbing against Usopp’s arm before allowing him to be, trusting him completely with your body.
You let out a hiss as Usopp inserts a finger in you, the sudden intrusion making you tense before you relax yourself once more.
Pumping his finger in and out of you as he listens to your soft moans, eventually adding a second finger when he thinks you are ready.
He kept a nice pace, your gasps and moans growing steadily as he thrust his fingers up into you, prodding so nicely into your sweet spot.
It isn’t long before he pulls them out, his hand settling itself back on your hip, lining himself up with your hole.
Slowly, he pushes into you making sure to watch your face to see if you were showing any signs of discomfort, more attuned to your pleasure than his own.
When he finally bottoms out he waits for you to give him the go ahead to start moving, one of his hands smooth against your spine, the other rubbing the side of your hip.
Only when you start to squirm in his lap does he start to move, even thrusts at an almost lazy pace, not wanting his time to end quickly with you.
His face moves to hide at the crook of your neck, spreading small kisses on it, every thrust making a soft huff leave him, his breath fanning at your tingling skin.
Your tail swishes under the water in pleasure, rising from the water and curling affectionately on Usopp’s hand, making the man’s motions stop, now instead rubbing softly at your wet fur.
The softness of it all makes a soft purr start in your chest, a sound that Usopp loved, it let him know that he was doing well without even having to look at you or hear it verbally. And even when you can’t see Usopp’s face you already have a pretty good guess that he has a happy little grin on his face, always so pleased with himself when he can make you feel good.
Every thrust of his dick so deep in you had your stomach pooling with heat, Christ, sometimes you forget just how good at these things he was simply because he was always so shy about them.
You weren’t exactly complaining though, that just meant whenever you two did have intimate moments like these it's always like seeing heaven again.
Sweat beaded and water at Usopp’s skin, both the water of the hot springs and the burning of his own needy body making sweat roll down his skin. Not that it really bothered him, it only added something else to shiver at including the soft breeze coming two and fro.
As Usopp shifts his dick hits practically perfect in you, kissing your sweet spot in a way that has your toes immediately curling, a loud moan escaping you.
One of your hands lifts from his neck and covers your mouth, still wary of being quiet. Usopp is a little sad when he can no longer hear your moans unmuffled, though he would rather have that then someone worrying about the sounds you’re making and catching you guys in act.
Another particular thrust has the coil in your stomach tightening, the need of release pointing itself out to you almost immediately.
Moving your hand from your mouth you go to warn Usopp, fumbling as broken words and moans fall from your lips before you actually get the sentence out, a slight stutter as you talk. “Dear, i-i’m close.”
Usopp merely nods against your neck, his pace quickening, your body shaking as he quickened his thrusts, moans rapidly leaving your lips as you own dick twitches in pleasure.
It doesn’t take long before you’re fully cumming, white ropes getting caught by the water, your legs tightening against Usopp’s waist.
He follows suit after a couple more shallow thrusts, spilling his seed in you due to you legs not letting up, a soft moan of your name coming from him as he comes down from his high.
Both of you stay there for a moment basking in each other’s presences as you try and catch your breaths, eventually Usopp comes up from hiding in the crook of your neck, a crimson blush and pout on his face.
“Now my hands are all pruny.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at that, loud and boisterous, after all that of course that was his first thought.
God, you loved this man.

❛ 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 ❜
𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜: Jo Wilson x f!reader ♡
𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙? Yes, by @itsdelicates-blog !
𝘼/𝙣: Again, sorry for the wait, hope you like it bella <3
"Yes, your surgery will be scheduled today" you repeated to your patient. For a moment she couldn't believe that, but then her face lit up. She was always so determined, at every step she never gave up. She was suffering from a cancer that would normally destroy anyone but her. She had a strength that everyone would envy, including you, it was hard to understand where it came from and you couldn't help but admire her. Sometimes she reminded you of Jo.
And finally today all his efforts could be reciprocated. You had followed her case for so long that you were happier than her. And to be honest this was absolutely the best thing of the day since everything has been just so shitty.
You couldn't wait to be a part of that surgery, after lunch you told everything to your girlfriend Jo, she knew about your patient too, so she was very happy for you. She was always so supportive for you in everything.
"Ok, I should go now" you said all elated. "I needed some joy in all this shit"
She smiled at you pressing a little sweet kiss on your lips. "Good luck baby" you gave her one of your best smiles before walking away.
The surgery had started. You started listing everything you knew, going step by step. It was quite difficult, everything was going well. But suddenly something went wrong. You didn't know what was happening, you didn't know why, all you knew was that you were pushed aside to proceed the attending who was with you. The sound of the monitor was the only thing playing in your head, until that sound became louder. The line went flat. You wished with all your strength that wasn't true, you weren't even able to declare the time of death. It was your patient, so you're your duty. But your body froze, and you said nothing. As soon as possible you left the room, you threw away your surgical gloves, your mask and everything else to get rid of that moment. You walked as fast as you could to get away from everything and everyone and find a place where you could be alone.
Jo knew you had been in the room for a long time, she had found time to manage to go and have a look in the gallery, but when she arrived no one was in the room anymore. The fact that it already ended and you hadn't told anything to her was weird, so she realized that unfortunately it hadn't gone as you hoped. She walked every hallway and checked almost every call room, until she found you.
You were sitting with your knees together and your head between them.
Seeing you like this was even worse for Jo, without saying anything she closed the door and came in sitting next to you. You tried to hold the tears but it was too difficult in that moment. She knew that words couldn't make you feel better now, so she just put an arm around your shoulders getting you closer and waiting for you to start venting.
"Why is everything so... wrong?" you said. "I- I do my best but... this is just so wrong..." your voice broke at the end. Jo held you more.
"How can we do this everyday? How?" You continued. "Every fucking day there's always something wrong, I just- I just don't know if I still can handle this..." at this point your tears increased. Jo placed her hands on your cheeks, turning your gaze towards her.
"Hey" she whispered. "Look at me. It's not your fault. It's no one's fault, things are so unfair, I know. But we can't do anything to change it" she said softly drying your tears.
You looked at her, all those feelings and shitty moments and day you had were pouring out of you, you couldn't stop it.
"It really hurts. All this hurts in a way I can't stop" you said continuing to fret.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. We can't stop that pain, we just have learn to live with it.." she gave you one of her sweetest smiles. "You're strong Y/n" you took a deep breath and dried away your tears. "Now you should go home and have some rest, ok?" she said. "I'll go with you" she helped you up.
"Thank you" you said softly still trying to calm yourself down. She smiled taking your hand.
"You don't have to thank me" she pulled her lips on yours softly before leaving the room together.
The two of you left the hospital together, going home. All this time Jo didn't leave you alone, you couldn't help but be grateful to her for being your girlfriend and for everything she did, you loved this girl more than everything else.

The more I think about it the more I realize how different my three takes on Ford are, three being how I see and write him as close to canon as possible- my time lord twins AU and my modernity AU. Just a cumulation of how many things can significantly change how a character is and I didn't notice by how much until I was talking about it with a friend and things made a surprising amount of sense. Case and point, this phrase!
"You're a good man."
There's three replies to that with how I understand Ford's character and please forgive me for rambling about this shit because I REALLY love picking up this man and dissecting him into atoms maybe I should make a youtube video-
Anyway, first off- canon!
"I try my best."
I genuinely think that after all of the things Ford's done, forgiveness is a barrier but not something impossible. In canon, ultimately he tries to make mends and he is atoning. For somebody who can hold a grudge for that long, I would think having your own faults must be hell on earth to live through as well. You can't exactly forgive yourself and you can only give as much as you have.
That's kind of the whole point to the series' ending in my mind. He just becomes more painfully aware of himself and the people around him not in the paranoid sense but just- how he is percieved or the consequences of his actions. He believes he can be good and is trying. Hence that response. Stanford's not refusing the idea, but he's not outright accepting it either because he's still working towards it.
Who said an old dog can't learn new tricks? Next!
"You don't know what you're talking about."
In my time lord twins AU, Stanford's hero complex and obsession with being special is cranked up stupidly high! On the run from Bill all across the multiverse he stumbles upon Gallifrey and realizes the state they're in is pretty damn precarious thanks to the Daleks and the Time Lords at WAR. In his mind at the time, all he could think of was saving as many people as he could.
Honestly, nobody would want to be in a war and frankly if it wasn't for the Time War and his Time Lord mentor things would likely be the same as canon. Ford believed too much that he was meant for great things and bit off more than he could chew!
Now carrying the title of the doctor, he doesn't believe he is a good man. He outright refuses it. A good man wouldn't have blood on his hands, a good man wouldn't have entire planets and civilizations kneeling at the mention of his name. A good man is respected, but that respect isn't born out of fear.
Stanford as the Doctor refuses this. He is not a good man. He damn well tries to be, but he knows not even forever could mend his mistakes and sins. He walks among the destruction of his own making, and he just lives with it.
Pretty depressing! Okay, let's look at something happier!
"I'm glad you think so. Thank you."
In the modernity AU, Ford hasn't done many if not most of the regrets that his counterparts often have. Yes he bickers with Stan a lot but it's never something that tears them apart, they could be having a word war over lunch but at the end of the day they're best friends again.
Ford still has his sense of justice and strong morals but in this case, it's not something he regrets and he doesn't exactly develop a hero complex because he doesn't believe he is special. He doesn't have that disparity with Stan and fundamentally that changes a lot of how he thinks.
It also helps that growing up, he's been humbled repeatedly by his brother or his peers. In this AU, he's always kept on his toes because the edge he has is only competitive enough against the many who are more than willing to work themselves to the bone for the same level of achivement.
If somebody tells him he's good, Stanford is just glad that's the perception of him and reacts accordingly. He's not often good at recieving compliments or god forbid flirting his poor brain can't keep up- but this much he is just thankful for the acknowledgement.
Tell me your thoughts or what you think about all this HAHAHAHA

Late Night Talking
𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦: Marvel/MCU
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫(𝐬)/𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩(𝐬): Wanda Maximoff x Reader, Natasha Romanoff x Wanda Maximoff (past), Carol Danvers x Natasha Romanoff
𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞: Friends to Lovers, College AU
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 2.6K
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Cursing, flirting teasing, mention of insomnia, anxiety and stress, jealousy, and huge fat warning college, some angst with happy ending
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: If you’re feeling down Wanda wants to make you happier baby
𝐀𝐍: Reader uses she/they pronouns. Loosely based on Late Night Talking by Harry Styles and my insomnia (surprise surprise). This was written at 3 in the morning and is unedited. Enjoy! :)
At first it was passed off as a quirky trait they had by their friends and family members. Now they were starting to acknowledge how much of problem it is for Y/n to deal with. Hopefully Professor Harkness wouldn’t be on her ass about it. The last time they were here the professor showed an immense amount of concern at the lack of livelihood in them due to their insomnia.
She was becoming somewhat of a concerned mother figure towards her while still maintaining her professionalism.
Thankfully she wasn’t at her desk yet and it was still 5 minutes before class started. As Y/n plopped down into their seat they barely spared the person they sat next to a glance. It wasn’t an auditorium styled classroom it was one of the smaller ones. Only 20 people were in this Psychology class and it was the smallest one the professor had (she has joked about it multiple times).
Wanda couldn’t help but stare. The droopiness in their eyes and bags underneath raised so much concern. The Sokovian cleared her throat and debated giving the gift she had for Y/n now or after class. Her utensils and items she uses for class were all perfectly laid out in front of her.
She quickly reached into her bag deciding she could use Professor Harkness as a distraction in case Y/n didn’t like what she gave them. Wanda removed the plastic bag and slid it towards them.
“What- oh good morning Wanda, don’t forget your stuff.” Their voice was laced with tiredness.
Wanda giggled. Even when they were sleep deprived they were cute. “It’s for you baby.” The pet name slipped out causing both their cheeks to burn.
Y/n cleared her throat and sat up in attempt to straighten their posture but still hunched over the desk a bit to grab the bag. They untied it and looked inside to see an assortment of snacks, a water bottle and two different brands of melatonin. Their cheeks flushed for another reason. Y/n had no clue Wanda had been paying this much attention to her.
“Oh Wanda I’m sorry I- do I bother you during class? Because I can move–”
“None of that.” Wanda shook her head immediately cutting her rambling short. “Whenever I’m sleepy during class it helps me to stay awake to eat or drink in between writing…and because it helps me stay awake, I thought it might help you too…I also used to take these melatonin brands when I had issues sleeping during finals from all the stress and they worked pretty well unless you blatantly ignore the tiredness they cause you like I did at the start of taking them…” Wanda scratched the back of her head, she could not read Y/n’s expression. “Point is, I got this stuff for you because I wanted to help.”
Y/n could not fathom why someone she rarely sees outside of class would do something so kind for them. Kate, Yelena or one of their other friends would do this but Wanda and her only interacted because she briefly dated Natasha until the two decided they were better off as friends. And even then Natasha and her never got that close due to the overwhelming crush Y/n had on her in highschool. But that can be reminisced on another time.
Y/n placed her hand on Wanda’s wrist immediately feeling it relax under her touch. “Wanda, thank you, seriously.” The two shared a smile. “You’re sharing them with me throughout class though.” Wanda began to protest. “I wasn’t asking, Maximoff.” Y/n smirked when her cheeks flushed and a shy “okay.” Reached their ears.
The two shared the snacks during class and Y/n carried the melatonin around with them for the rest of the day. After eating dinner with her roommates she laid in bed for two hours until she glanced at her night stand and saw the melatonin mocking her. Melatonin usually doesn’t work, she’ll feel drowsy then immediately begin to doze off then wake up and be awake for the rest of the night.
They sighed and reached for the melatonin, ripping the package open. “5 milligrams per fruit gummy.” Y/n popped in 4 and hoped for the best.
Their phone buzzed on the bed signaling a text message coming in. Y/n grabbed it without looking and unlocked her phone. The time read 1:20 in the morning which was less worse than usual.
Wanda :D | 1:20 AM
You up?
Y/n forgot Wanda had her number after they (her friends, Natasha and Wanda) all went to the arcade together. Seems Wanda didn’t forget though.
Y/n <3 | 1:23 AM
Yup! Just took the melatonin though so let’s see if it works.
Not even 30 seconds went buy before Wanda’s name popped up on her phone, signaling she was getting a call. Y/n answered, propping herself up against the head board with her pillow for support.
“Hi.” Y/n sang.
“Hello.” Wanda’s accent was pronounced as ever. “I…sorry I called you I just- I wanted to talk to you and hear your voice, I also don’t feel like typing any longer.”
“That’s alright, not like I’m asleep.” Y/n joked with a hint of amusement in their voice.
Wanda chuckled deeply. “That’s true, which one did you take?”
“I’m too lazy to grab it and look but it has a clear packaging with the label on front.”
“Purple top?”
“Yeah.” Y/n grinned.
“Oh cool, I figured you would like gummies more.”
“And what made you think that?”
Wanda twirled her hand between her fingers as she sat at her desk inside her room at her brother’s apartment. “I sort of remembered how you said you enjoy fruit flavored things so…yeah.”
Y/n nodded even though Wanda couldn’t see them. “Yeah well you are what you eat.”
Wanda giggled. “Shut up.”
“Oh okay well I’ll just hang up now.” Y/n said with mock offense and their hand on their chest.
“Stop, no teasing.” She chastised playfully.
“Me tease? Like you weren’t calling me nicknames in class earlier.” Y/n’s chuckle was deep and raspy. After not hearing a response they pulled the phone away from their ear. Then put it back as it said the call was still going. “Hello? Wanda.”
Wanda muted herself and screamed into her pillow then calmly moved her hair out of her face as Y/n questioned where she went. She picked the phone back up and unmuted herself.
“Wanda you okay?”
“Yes, I’m okay just wanted you to see how empty your life would be if I hung up on you.”
“You are so–”
“Pretty, smart, amazing–”
“And also annoying.”
“That’s rich– you think I’m pretty?”
Y/n responded without hesitation. “What? Of course you are! Natasha only dates pretty girls and you’re the prettiest I’ve ever seen– dating her aside.”
Wanda’s smile faltered at hearing Natasha’s name. Then returned at full force as Y/n reassured her right after making that comment. Nat and Wanda being in the same friend group was a decision Wanda regrets but also loves. Her friends are some of the best people she has ever met. Once Carol and Nat started dating soon after they broke up Wanda avoided speaking to Natasha as much as possible.
“Sorry, did I make things weird by bringing up the ex…I didn’t mean too.” Y/n was now laid down in bed, snuggled under the covers with her phone to her ear.
“No you didn’t, baby.” She cleared her throat. “Are you feeling sleepy?” Wanda asked, physically resisting the urge to write notes on their current state.
Y/n swooned at the nickname for the second time that day. “Yeah.” She sang. “Are you– wait why are you still up?”
Wanda grins. “I stay up late sometimes when I don’t have plans the next day, it’s like a reward for getting through the day or week.”
“And you decided to use your reward time to call me? Such a sweet girl.”
Wanda giggled, shut off her lamp and laid down in bed under the covers. “I try.” She glanced over to see the clock read 2:30 in the morning. “We both have to try going to sleep now though angel, get some rest for me okay?”
Y/n hummed in response, her heart fluttering at the nickname. “Okay…night.”
Wanda grinned knowing the melatonin was kicking in. “Goodnight angel, sleep well.”
They both hung up and for the first time in a while Y/n got a full eight hours of sleep. Wanda sighed happily and held her phone to her chest. It was clear Y/n needed some guidance, someone to take care of them. Wanda just so happened to have her favorite love language be acts of service, what a coincidence.
Two weeks go by and Y/n’s sleeping habits start getting better at the same time Wanda and her become even closer. Unfortunately some habits take a while to stick.
“It’s not working.” Y/n cries out of stress, feeling physical tears start to come to their eyes. “Finals are right around the corner and I need to have this together or–”
They’re sitting outside in the court yard near the student center. This was the first time Wanda and Y/n have hung out outside of class without their friends around. Wanda places her hand on Y/n’s wrist effectively stopping her speech.
“Yes you will, everything’s gonna be fine baby.”
“But Wan I–”
“Baby? Didn’t know you two were that close.”
Y/n groaned and dropped her head on the metal table at the sound of another persons voice. They were already having a break down outside it’s worse that another person had to come and perceive them. Wanda forced herself to relax instead of snapping at her friends for interrupting. She understands how emotional Y/n feels as it’s how she felt during the summer semester not too long ago. Wanda turned her head to greet them as politely as she could to see Carol’s concerned expression but see Natasha’s eyes bouncing between them both with an emotion Wanda did not like; jealousy.
“Yes we are, that close. In fact I adore Y/n with everything in me and I’m trying to comfort them so now is not the best time–”
“Y/n/n what’s going on baby girl?”
Wanda felt like a hypocrite at the sound of her exes voice. Now she was jealous and looking at Y/n to avoid glaring daggers at Natasha. Her shoulders tensed up at the hand she placed on their back. Wanda nearly smiled as Y/n’s whole body tensed up at the contact.
“Ask Yelena.” Came Y/n’s muffled voice.
Natasha smiled playfully. “I will if she could answer her phone.”
Y/n sat up right and took a deep breath, inching closer to Wanda. She wiped her face as she spoke. “She’s in class today doing a double to catch up and make up for her grade so she won’t be out of class until 5:30 and I made sure her and Kate are doing a buddy system so that they won’t be around after sundown by themselves because we are women on a college campus be fucking for real and use the buddy system whenever you can and however you can….Yelena is also the size of five stacked up toasters, black belt or not buddy system always works.”
They all laughed in a various octaves at her rant.
“That is very true, the buddy system is what works best.” Carol agreed gesturing towards them with her can of soda.
“Can I have some?” Y/n asked with a pout.
“Did you have soda today already?” Wanda asked softly, scooting closer to her.
Y/n shook their head. “No, I want a sip.” She pouted.
“Okay, baby.”
“What’s with the nickname seriously,“ Natasha passed off her comment as a joke with a forced chuckle. “are you two dating?”
Wanda opened her mouth to respond but Y/n beat her too after handing Carol back her drink. “And what if we are?” They asked.
Wanda beamed at the protectiveness on their voice. “Yeah what if we are.”
“So what if Wanda is the air that I breathe and the water that I drink.” Y/n added with a shrug, pulling the brunette into her side. “I adore her just as much as she does me, if not more.” The sleep deprivation was definitely talking but so what Wanda didn’t seem to mind. Natasha looked off to the side, avoiding eye contact with them both.
The brunette giggled and kissed her cheek.
“Well congrats.” Carol added with a grin.
“Thank you fellow lesbian.” Y/n beamed.
Carol threw her head back and laughed. “You’re welcome fellow lesbian.”
They all laughed at the exchange.
The day left and night began, as the clock hit 8 Y/n took their shower and did everything they needed to be done before bed. By the time they took their melatonin it was 11 at night.
They laid down in bed with all the lights off and the quiet thrum of voices coming from the living room as Kate and Yelena worked on a project for a class they had together. Y/n’s phone began to buzz on the night stand. Knowing the only person’s notifications she had on at this time of night she answered the phone without looking at the caller ID.
“Hey.” Y/n said.
“Hi.” Wanda sung.
“How’s my pretty girl doing?”
Wanda’s cheeks burned as she left her bathroom and moved to lie down in bed. She was stunned into silence and Y/n knew it. They began to laugh.
“Sorry, too much?”
“No, not at all just a shock that’s all.”
A few minutes of silence passed as Wanda got settled down into bed with the lights in her room off and her brother out for the night.
“About that conversation earlier…”
“My breakdown or Natasha’s jealousy?”
Wanda rolled her eyes so hard she wouldn’t be surprised if Y/n heard it through the phone. “Oh god don’t get me started, that was so annoying! And I hated when she started touching you like you two are close and that she speaks to you outside of you and Yelena practically being sisters like don’t touch her!” Wanda huffed.
Y/n giggled so loud she knows her bestfriends heard it. “I didn’t realize she got you so riled up my love.”
“Tell me about it.” Wanda sighed then bit her lip at the sound of their laughter. “But no, before they walked up I wanted to tell you that I understand how you feel and I’m here for you, you’re going to get through this.”
Y/n wished the Sokovian stood in front of her so that she could give her a hug. “Thank you sweetheart.”
“Of course angel.”
“You wanna stay on the phone with me tonight? I like the sound of your voice.”
“Well you have to I am your girlfriend now.”
Y/n chuckled. “Yeah…” Silence passed between as they both thought over that part of the conversation. “I would actually like for you to be my girlfriend in the future Wanda…I feel like you want the same but I could be wrong–”
“You’re not. I like you so much. Our nightly talks are something I’ve been looking forward to every day since they’ve started….can I take you on a date?”
“Absolutely.”

Here is the updated Shinoha design & info sheet ✧*。
I'm a lot happier with this design, so please let me know what you think!
More info below the cut
Basic Information:
Name: Shinoha Murofushi
Age: 16
Height: 5'6
Wish: "My ultimate dream could come true... If that's the case, then I want to get revenge on those bastards!"
Weapon: Dual Swords
Power: The ability to store and release attacks back at an enemy*
Soul Gem: Wing (top), scales (bottom)
Witch: Nemesis
*She can only absorb attacks that hit her and still gets hurt from attacks that hit her. She can store damage for as long as she likes, but once she releases it, she will release all damage she has stored. Her releasing an attack back at an attacker will affect the attacker the same way it affected her. Ex: enemy breaks Shinoha's arm, Shinoha releases her damage, enemy's arm is broken and enemy experiences the same pain Shinoha did.
Personality:
She's very standoffish and closed off from other people. She spends as much time in her room as she possibly can to the point of owning a mini fridge and cutting her own hair. She sleeps all day and is most awake at night, however she's always tired. Anytime she leaves the house, she covers up completely in baggy clothes and face masks. Although she has no particular hobbies or interests, she spends a lot of time watching tv and surfing the internet. She rarely speaks to others, and has a habit of judging people. It's very difficult for her to connect with other people, as she's very distrustful and always presumes the worst. She never vocally expresses her problems with people, and bottles up her emotions untill she explodes. Her calm face and meek disposition hides her violent thoughts and self-loathing. Becoming a magical girl has given her an outlet to express her emotions, but she's gradually getting more and more unstable.
Design Breakdown:
For the redesign, I leaned more into the "angel" theming and I think it helped a lot! Her shoes are modeled after ballet shoes (dancers "fly"), and I added white ribbons to give her some more magical girl flair. I managed to get the shoulder cloak working like how I originally wanted to, and added a half green half white wing pattern. The underdress is a simple white dress that's longer in the back; it was inspired by angelcore fashion. Her overdress was originally going to be a darker shade of green, but it looked too similar to her hair colour, and so I used the cloak colour; The shape of the edges is meant to look like rounded wings. I made her hair half green half black and also made it more choppy looking (to add to the fact she cuts her own hair). I think the half/half hair design makes her look a lot cooler and more distinctive, as well as ties her to Komoe more (Komoe has half/half eyes, Shinoha has half/half hair). I fixed her halo ponytail tie, and added a facial scar, and replaced the gloves with cuffs.
The soul gem shape got changed to a wing both due to the stronger angel theming and due to the bellflower not looking very good. The swords are the same (minus colour and shape changes), but I accidentally made the blades slightly too thick!
Trivia:
She didn't believe in magical girls at all, but after much pestering convincing from Komoe, she unseriously made a wish
Her damage absorbing ability causes her to endanger herself in fights
Originally her plan was to kill her bullies, but she opted to torment them with her power instead
Komoe always insists on giving Shinoha grief seeds, groceries, and other gifts

Steve made sure to show up at your place at exactly 11 am. He wasn't sure what you had in mind for the day, so he settled for his usual jeans and t-shirt with a hat on his head and sunglasses in his pocket just in case.
When you opened the door, you welcomed him in with no hesitation. His first thoughts were about how trusting you continued to be. You had no more than three conversations with him. What if he turned out to be a murderer? A criminal?
Well... technically... he was a criminal. And a fugitive. And he did kill a few nazis back in his day...
But that was exactly his point. Of course he would never hurt you, but what if he was someone a little shadier, a little more rough around the edges?
As the day went on, he continued learning just how infectious that energy was. He found himself having to hold back even more personal information from you. None of what he told you to fill in the gaps of the life he once knew was a lie. He still couldn't lie to you. So instead he just gave you vague information.
And as you showed him around town, you started to learn more about him. At the coffee shop, you learned he used to serve in the military and work for the government, but a lot of the details were hidden behind walls confidentiality he couldn't break.
He told you at the earth history museum that he was a New York native, his mother and father were no longer around. At that same place he learned you recently lost your father due to an unfortunate circumstance, but your mother was still around to make sure all your choices were lining up to the big list of life long plans she made for you. You were raised in sunny California, but came here to start a life with an ex-boyfriend who had done you wrong. But you were settled, and uprooting once more seemed like too much of a burden. Greenwood sucked you in fast, and you didn't know if you could adjust to the fast paced California lifestyle again at this point in your career.
You asked more about his career as you walked him through the friendship gardens. His service was great for him for a while, but sometimes working so close to anything in the government made him question his own morals. He hated wondering if he was really doing the right thing everyday, so he left. You also learned that he was thirty-something years old.
Finally you led him to the prettiest park surrounded by even prettier views, and that's when he asked you for a rundown on everyone in the neighborhood just so he could be better prepared for when he inevitably meets the locals.
The summer sunshine on his skin was doing wonders to his mood that had been so sad and honestly depressing the passed couple of days, and you once again got this feeling that he really needed a friend. You were happy to sit in the grass with him and people watch as conversation continued to flow naturally between the two of you.
"S0, what got you into baking?" He asked sounding happier than you had heard him in the short time you've known him.
"I used to bake a lot with my grandmother when I was a kid" You explained. "My earliest memories of baking is rolling and cutting out sugar cookies with her, but if they weren't perfect she would make me squish them and try again."
"So I guess that explains why everything you make is so pretty" He pointed out, watching you run your fingers through the blades of grass.
"It's been conditioned into my brain since childhood" You agreed. "Then after that I guess I just found it interesting. There's so many different kinds of baking, and so many niche sets of skills within it that I just wanted to try and learn everything I could. If I didn't get something right, I'd squish it and try again until it came out perfect."
"Even as a hobby you'd squish the imperfect stuff?"
"Oh yeah, but that's what got me to where I am now. Plus, if you squish it in your mouth, it still counts as squishing it" You pointed out your loop hole.
"Ah, I see" He smiled. "Did this make you more afraid or less afraid of failure as an adult?"
"Let's just say my emotions get very squished when something doesn't come out right the first time" You put it gently with a giggle.
"That's such a cute way of saying you get upset" Steve laughed. "I'm going to start using that from now on. I'm no longer going to be mad, or sad, my emotions are just going to squish."
"I think that's the perfect description" You defended your choice of wording.
"I do too" Steve agreed. "Okay, so you liked to bake, and you created a whole tool belt full of different baking skills. What made you want to start the business?"
"I guess it just seemed like the obvious next step" You pondered.
"I'm sure opening up a place like that is a huge learning curve" he thought out-loud.
"If I could give up the whole business side of it, I would in a heartbeat" You giggled. "Payroll, health code standards, government regulation, employer protection laws... it's all so much to have to put into consideration when making the smallest of choices. Oh! And my taxes are a mess"
"But you're happy doing what you do?"
"It's a dream come true" You smiled. "It's stressful sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else."
"Mmm" he hummed in acknowledgment. His mind ran far away from him as a man walking his dog passed by on the sidewalk about 15 feet away from where they were sitting in the grass. His Iron-Man shirt caught Steve's eye, and his brain started to wander far away from the conversation.
Your eyes followed his gaze, and when they landed on the Tony Stark inspired street ware, the expression on his face became unreadable to you. At this point in the Captain America versus Iron-Man political split, you we're pretty good at guessing who chose which side then avoiding conversations about it like the plague.
Stating which side you supported so publicly usually elicited the reactions of strangers, either filling their faces with pride or disgust. You swore the nature of this town made the topic like a man hunt, as if someone's opinions made them a great person or a completely terrible person based on whichever side they chose. You'd never met anyone like you, willing to entertain both sides, and willing to understand that there was probably more to the situation the public didn't know and that maybe things weren't as black and white as the insufferably bored, small town and small minded folks made it out to be.
Maybe the borderline sad expression on your neighbor's face was a sign that he possibly felt similarly to you, but you were so exhausted over the constant opinions on the topic being thrown at you so you certainly weren't going to subject him to that either.
"What about you?" You questioned, causing his head to snap towards you.
"What?" He asked, trying his hardest to stay calm. Did you ask him something and he completely missed it? Please don't be about the iron-man shirt...
"Got any big career plans or are you happily retired?" You reiterated.
He visibly relaxed and thought about it for a moment. "I dunno..." he shrugged. "I guess this is the first time in my life where I've realized what I've always wanted and what I've been doing were two completely different paths."
"Well, maybe it's a sign to just enjoy life and whatever it throws at you for a bit." You suggested with a pleasant grin.
"Whatever it throws at me better be peaceful and relaxing for once" He agreed with a big lopsided smile. "Like, I don't know, a park ranger or a librarian."
"An artist! ... a baker?"
"If I was a baker there would be a significant increase of squishing happening" He shook his head.
"But you're an artist! I'm sure your creative eye could translate to something in the kitchen. Sugar cookie decorating maybe?"
"You don't even know if I'm a good artist" Steve laughed. "For all you know I could have the skill set of a toddler"
"You told me you went to art school for a year" You defended yourself. "You'd rather me assume that you had the skill set of a toddler rather than the talent of a person who studied art?"
"It's like the glass half full or half empty debate" He brought up.
"I always think the glass is half full"
"I tend think the glass is not half full, nor half empty. The glass is just is" He explained.
"I guess that's a more realistic way to view it" You pondered. "So rather than you being a beginner or an expert in art, you just are where you are."
"Sure, we'll call it that" He slowly nodded his head.
The two of you spent pretty much the entire day together, and yet when you got back home after leaving him with a friendly hug, something just felt off.
It took a warm bath and a glass of wine to figure out what was bothering you. However, once it was in your mind, you held onto it all night until the morning, all day through work, and an hour after you got home until Georgia got back from the gardening center.
She made you both a cup of sweet tea and sat with you on the porch swing as you vented. The hot summer air and warm breeze payed no mind to the setting sun, it wasn't going to allow the impending moonlight to calm the heat.
"Wait- so why were you hanging out with the hunk in the first place?" She asked, trying to digest all the information you spat at her at over a mile a minute. The slow swing of the bench beneath the two of you did nothing to calm your nerves.
"I was just trying to be friendly and show him around, I thought he could use a friend since all of this is so new to him" You justified.
"And that's the only reason?" She wiggled her eyebrows at you.
"...yeeahhh..." Your voiced raised in pitch.
"I don't believe a single second of that, but go on darlin'" She smirked.
"I dunno, every time I've seen him I get this weird inclination that I need to talk to him, and every time I do it's fine. He's easy to talk to, we have a few similar interests, he's really good about asking questions about me and seems genuinely interested in getting to know everyone here but the second I ask anything about him it's like he turns into this dull, flat, kind've lifeless creature." You explained.
"A creature, huh?"
"Okay, maybe creature is a little dramatic." You admitted. "I just don't understand how someone could go from a really outgoing chipper dude to the saddest lost puppy in the rain in the span of 2 seconds."
"Maybe he's a murderer" Georgia joked.
"Mrs. Georgia Peach, that is not very nice!" You shrieked, bumping her shoulder with yours.
"A stalker! Maybe, he's freshly divorced."
"Are you implying that a divorcee is just as bad as being a murderer or a stalker?" Your head slanted to the side.
"No, not by any means, Baby doll." She giggled. "My point is, we don't know even a fraction of what he might've been through to land him in a whole new town by himself. There are so many situations in which someone could shut down and maybe not be so trusting of people, he could just need some time. It really could be that simple."
"Maybe I just need to put my patience pants on" You sighed. "I know I probably sound crazy, but there's just something about him I can't quite grasp. I want to be his friend, and I'm trying, but he just seems so... sad?"
"If there's one thing I know it's that when you're in a bad place, you unintentionally push people away. Maybe slowly at first then all at once, but the people in your life who stand their ground and walk by your side are always appreciated. Keep trying, push him back very slowly. You'll get there eventually." Georgia brushed your hair out of your face. "But darlin' it's also important to remember that it's not your job to fix him."
Your track record of all your ex-boyfriends came flooding to mind when she gave you that reminder. Everyone who knew the insight of what your past relationship or two was like seemed to be rightfully concerned about who you chose as a partner going forward. "I know." You sighed. "But you know how I am. I love too much way too fast whether it be a stranger I just met or a dear friend of five years. I can't just let somebody that I know pass by without a second thought."
"I know, baby, and everyone who knows you is so blessed to have received a love like yours but not everyone can understand that it's a privilege and not something that they should be taking advantage of." She continued petting your hair, her hand made it to your shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "You're sweet as pie, anyone from a million miles away could see that. Just make sure you're continuing to make yourself a priority when you're lovin' on everybody else."
"Of course I will." You gave her a reassuring grin. "Remember what I said? I'm happy on my own."
Life proceeded as normal for a few days. Quiet, but normal.
You found solace in your cozy bakery, humming along to the soft music playing over the speaker system as you sat at the decorator's long metal table, decorating sugar cookies for a custom order while your beloved employees prepared to close the store in 15 minutes.
Flooding inside the lines you made with royal icing, the cashier popped her head back in the kitchen that was only occupied by you.
"Someone is asking for you!" She chimed sweetly.
"Thank you! I'll be there in a sec" you looked up.
When you made your way out to the front, you saw Steven in his full glory. The one strand of golden hair that always seemed to have a mind of its own prevailed in it's efforts to never stay in place. Once again, his energy was low and he seemed awfully sad.
"Hey there, honey!" You smiled, even though you recognized that look in his eye. "How are you?" You asked as you walked out from behind the counter to greet him with a warm hug.
"I'm good. Sorry if this is a bad time, I know you guys are closing soon but I haven't seen you around in a few days so I figured I'd stop by real quick just to say hi." He explained.
You looked at the pastry bag in his hand, realizing he had already gotten and paid for a treat. "Not a bad time at all!" You reassured him. "Even if we're closed and you see a light on, just knock on the door and I'll let you in."
Just based off the way you were looking at him, he could tell you knew he was sad. The passed few days have been even more emotionally painful, and it was getting increasingly worse regardless of his effort to make it better.
He tried everything. He ran as far and fast as he could, numbly sat in front of a television playing romcoms, he bathed for hours, drew and painted, read and solved puzzles, but nothing was working.
After a shower, an anxiety attack, pacing around his house for about an hour while seriously considering turning himself in and making this crazy manhunt finally come to an end, he realized the one thing he hadn't tried yet was interacting with another person. So he grabbed his keys and came straight to the only place he knew he'd be warmly welcomed.
"Good to know" He attempted a smile. "What's that?"
He pointed at a big cardboard shipping box sitting on top of a wooden pallet, placed neatly along a wall.
"Oh! That's a new mid-sized stand mixer I ordered since our other one burned out. I went with one slightly bigger then the last and that's how it arrived a few hours ago." You giggled. The shipping situation really did seem dramatic for what was inside the box.
"And they shipped it like that?" He raised his eyebrows at the box.
"Unfortunately" You nodded. "I will say it's a lot heavier than it looks though. The box says 200 pounds so Michael and James from our street are going to come in tomorrow to help me set it up"
"What?" He questioned with an almost genuinely confused look on his face. "I can do it right now."
"... it's two hundred pounds, Steven." You reiterated with a giggle.
Failing to see your point, he handed you the pastry bag in his hands. "Hold my tart"
You took it from him without saying a word, and set it down on the counter before walking behind him towards the box. He bent over and put his hands on it, rocking it from side to side to find its center of balance.
"Oh gosh please be careful, don't hurt yourself" You nagged like a mom, and it actually brought a genuine smile to his face.
If only you knew the real kind've danger he put himself in on a daily basis...
He lifted the box without so much as a grunt or that silly face humans make when something is too heavy. "Holy shit... do you need help?"
"Where do you want it?" He asked, obviously amused that the two men you thought you needed to get the task done were now rendered completely useless.
"In the back, do you need help?" You asked again, and started walking to guide him to the empty counter space you reserved for the mixer.
"Nope, it's totally fine" He shook his head.
He didn't even look like he was struggling.
"Okay follow me" You shook your head in disbelief with a smile on your face as you led him into the kitchen as quickly as you could so he could set it down. "Right here, please!"
When he set it down on the designated counter and you went to grab a box cutter to get it out of the box, you came back still amazed. The two of you opened it up, and he lifted it out of the cardboard and set it where it belonged.
"Easy peasey!" He wiped of his hands.
"And I thought I needed two people for that!" You said loudly with amusement. "What the heck, man! You're ripped."
Steve laughed at your reaction. "What can I say? Moving all that furniture really got my arms in shape"
"No, there's no way that moving a couch made your arms that impressive" You shook your head with a laugh. "You're Hercules. There's no other explanation."
"You're once again giving me too much credit" He shook his head with a smile.
"No need to be humble, Superman."
"Superman isn't real" He rebutted sassily, waving a pointed finger in the air.
You stopped and thought for a second. "... I can't think of a real superhero now that isn't controversial at the moment so we're just going to settle on calling you Superman."
Even though you were being playful and happy as a clam, his mind immediately realized that you would probably hate him if you knew the truth. He couldn't just assume that your thoughts on the Civil War would side with him, and he needed to protect his heart.
Maybe coming here was a bad choice.
"Superman it is" He put on his front that everything was fine. "How about I'll get rid of that pallet in the front while you unwrap all this plastic?"
"No, honey, it's fine. We can take care of the pallet in the morning!" You denied. "You've already helped immensely"
"Please, I insist"
You sighed at the man before a shy smile smeared across your lips. "... thank you"
"I'll be right back"
He took the wooden pallet out from the store and to the dumpster in the parking lot, then made his way back into the kitchen where you had unwrapped the mixer from the plastic it came from and plugged it in. As Steve was washing his hands, you turned it on to make sure it worked, and the swirling sound brought a smile to your face.
"She works?" Steve asked.
"Like a dream" You confirmed. "Thank you so much for the help"
"Absolutely, if you ever need help with anything around here just let me know. I'm more than happy to help out whenever you need."
When you saw how his much his mood changed just from being able to do something for you, you had idea.
From that day on, Steve would come every Friday night to help unload the supply delivery. The 50 pound bags of sugar, flour, powdered sugar and brown sugar kept him occupied for at least half an hour. Especially since he insisted he would reorganize them every week to make sure the new ones made it to the bottom of the stack and the old ones would go on top.
Then it evolved into him staying with you way passed close to watch you decorate. It was fascinating to him, and he was genuinely interested. He'd sit right next to you and ask you why you did things a certain way, how you knew how to move your hand or pick out things like colors or sprinkles.
Soon there after, Friday nights turned into Friday and Wednesday nights. He'd come in after all the employees left and follow you around, you were more than happy to let him.
It was mutually beneficial, you weren't so lonely in the hours required to keep all the custom orders flowing out at the rate they were requested, and Steve finally had something to do.
Sometimes he felt a little bad just sitting there and having hours of conversation without as much as lifting his finger, so as he got more comfortable in your perfect little bakery he'd find things to do.
If you were doing something that required frosting or icing, you'd tell him exactly what color you needed and guide him through making it. He'd mix it all up and put it in the correct kind of piping bag for you, he even got really good at tying off all the ends so it didn't spill out as you squeezed.
Sometimes he'd notice a leaky pipe under the hand washing sinks or wobbling chair legs and he'd fix them up. If there were dishes in the sink that the bakers couldn't get to he'd do them no question. But when there was nothing to do, he'd chat your ear off and you happily listened. He was like your live action podcast, and you learned that Steven knew a whole bunch about a whole lot of different topics.
Nice to be kneaded became his little sanctuary away from home. He looked forward to the days he spent loitering in the shop, and when he got home he loved that his clothes always smelled like cookies.
You added Tuesdays to the mix when Steven asked you to teach him how to make something, anything really. He didn't know if it was because he actually wanted to learn how to bake or if he just wanted a reason to spend more time with you.
He grew to craving your presence on days your schedules didn't match up, and on those days his brain actually had room to think about the reality of what he was doing.
Every time he felt himself growing closer to you, he realized he was only hurting you. Eventually he'd have to go, and that day when you knocked on his door with nobody there to answer would be a hard one. You'd have to process that all the time you'd invested into him were nothing but lies. He knew this was going to end with you hating him, and he knew that would break his heart too.
As close as he was with you, he still wasn't nearly as close as he wanted to be. If his life was in order and his head wasn't always one wrong move away from being on a platter, you would've been swept off your feet by now.
Whenever you smiled and looked at him through your eyelashes, all he wanted to do was kiss it right off your lips. He craved to hold you in his arms, claim you all for himself. But for your sake and his, he stayed an arm's length away.
You deserved better than a fugitive, and you deserved better than whatever he could give to you in his current situation. You definitely deserved better than to be lied to by someone you were devoting so much time and energy to.
So given the circumstances, Steve was doing his best. Plotting ways to let you down easy when the time came for him to go. Maybe if he could fit it in whenever he inevitably needed to run, he'd find a way to tell you with his own mouth. It would be easier hearing it from him rather than a news story or a police report.
But he was sure he had at least a little while longer to figure that out, and he really hoped he did. Because if his time with you taught him anything, it's that he was happy moving around sacks of flour and mixing icing colors for you because it made both of you happy.
He'd tighten all the loose screws, reach every supply on the highest shelf, and barter with your supplier about the astronomical influx of egg prices just for you.
If he had to run as far and fast as he could to a whole different country in a far away place first thing in the morning, he'd always be reminded of the most important lesson you taught him.
It really was nice to be needed.

Hi there love! 💜
Here comes the fic about Christmas, it’s not the bigger one nor the best one but I hope you still like it ❤️
Enjoy!! <33
(Yes I’m a bit late but 🤫)
****
Warnings : fluff, opening present, Christmas mornings, pet names, comfort, reassurance, kisses
Parings : daddies!Stucky ; Daddy!Bucky x Papa!Steve x Little!Reader
Summary : it’s Christmas’s morning! ❄️🎄
****
It's morning Christmas and you couldn't be happier, the night before you couldn't fall asleep for the life of you. Your Daddies thought they were going crazy, you wanted to stay up and to see Santa so you could thank him and ask him how he was doing to grow his beard because you want to have longer hair, you wanted to know his tricks.
It's first morning in a long time that you were up before your Daddies. You usually are a heavy sleeper and they often have hard times waking you up but today it's otherwise.
You tippy toes to their bedroom and climb in bed with them, you stay perfectly still until you can't take it anymore and jump in the soft mattress.
Your Daddy groans, his eyes still closed. You giggle as you keep jumping, that until a hand wrap around your ankle and make you fall.
You fall in between your Daddies "you're the worst sometimes" your Daddy jokes while wrapping his huge arms around you. You keep laughing while your Papa, who's the cause of your fall, comes closer to you.
You jokingly groan and turn your head away "smell baddddd"
Offended, he puts his hand on his heart and gasps "keep acting like this and you won't open any presents today" he teases pointing at you.
You pull your tongue at him and wiggle your way out of your Daddy's arms. You hadn't forgot what your goal was for this morning;
Wake up ✅
Explaining your dream to Bucksie ✅
Waking up your daddies ✅
Opening present ❌
It's finally the time..
You run downstairs and smile when you see all the presents under the tree.
You quickly drop on your knees in front of it and excitingly wait for your Daddies.
It's not until ten minutes later that you see them walking down the stairs. They thought they would have time to take a coffee to fully wake up but apparently now is not the time.
Once their butts are on the couch of the living room, near the tree, they look over at you and nod "let's see what Santa brought you’’
You squeal and turn around to grab the first gift. Your face got redder and redder the more you open gifts, you notice it was things you couldn't stop looking at through the windows of the stores and now they're in your hands. That's crazy!
You suddenly went all shy after opening the last gift, you're not used to have all the intention on you- except when your home with your daddies- but today felt different.
"what's wrong, princess ?" Your papa frowns when he notices your head low. He's concerned that you don't like one of your gift or are disappointed for any valid reasons.
come mere, wavy re pals me space between them. It took you a moment to get up and climbing on the couch but your Daddies are patient men- sometimes- and gently wait.
"You don't like one of your gifts ?" Your Daddy asks, caressing your hair.
You shake your head because that's not the case, you absolutely love all of the gifts you just received. ‘’Then what's going on ?"
had all gifts I wanted" you mumble, looking down. Your Daddies frown, not understanding
"well if you had the gifts you wanted why are you so sad ?"
because he not here to say tank you"
your Daddies's gaze sotten after ine sweet words that just came out of your throat, your Papa leans down to kiss your head "that's really sweet of you to think of that baby." Yes it absolutely is. Don't feel sad about it, we can write him a letter where you can thank him in and say all the things you want to tell him, how does that sounds ?" Your Daddy adds.
You look up at him "we can ?"
He chuckles and nods his head "of course we can" he learns down and kisses your nose "and we will
Your smile comes back again and you nod your head "otay!"
You jump off of the couch and run upstairs to go grab your pens and papers to write the most perfect letter you can
"Well, that went better than I thought it would" your Daddy sighs.
Your Papa chuckles and pats his thigh "there's still next year"

Robert chase x female reader.
Based on season 3
Chase started to fall in love with his co-worker Y/n but she can’t see him in that way, or that’s what she said. But the truth is that she likes chase as well.
Chase starts to get a little jealous like he did in episode 19 of season 3.
They finally get together and chase couldn’t be happier.
Since Y/n and chase started to work with each other she didn’t like him because she thought he was an idiot who didn’t care about anyone then himself. But chase changed himself for y/n.
Change
Pairing: Robert Chase x Fem!Reader
Universe: House Md
Summary: hiding feelings for your co-worker was never a good idea, on either end. But when he’s fed up after witnessing you be too close with a co-worker: Chase will do anything in his power to show you he’s serious about his possible chance at a relationship with you
Warnings: medical talk, Greg House being Greg House, jealous Robert Chase, slight angst and arguing
Notes: another Chase request; you’re on a role. I did make it so Chase is jealous of reader’s FRIENDSHIP with Wilson; the whole Chase being jealous of a kid was on par for his character but I don’t wanna write that so. This one was definitely shorter than On Your Side, lowkey hummed about that.
“I see you were with Wilson last night,” Robert Chase pointed out as the two of you walked alongside one another into the locker room for the morning. You raised a brow, caught off guard by his sudden choice of words.
“Why does it matter what I was doing with my friend?” You asked him accusingly.
“It’s just ironic that you’ll grab a drink with him but not me,”
“I never said I wouldn’t get a drink with you,” You informed him. You stopped and faced him full on, a look of disbelieve on your face, “But I know you want something more from that and I can’t ruin our friendship. I went with Wilson because we’re friends. Like we have been since I started working here.”
You didn’t bother putting your things in the Locke room, and decided you’d take everything to Wilson’s office to save you the haste of listening to House complain all day. You were grateful that Wilson wasn’t in his office, and just set your things on the sofa and walked back out to go to House’s office.
You would be lying if you said you didn’t understand where Chase’s feelings for you came from. And you would also be lying if you said you didn’t share those feelings. But he was impulsive, and sometimes selfish — you didn’t like that.
Chase walked in with Foreman close behind. Foreman instantly didn’t want to be at work as soon as he could sense the hostility between you and Chase, and sat as far away from you as he possibly could. Foreman had always seen the butt end of these arguments that you and Chase had gotten into recently, and House only fed into them.
The case was pretty open close once House and Cameron walked in; House gave you all tasks and went on his way while you all went through all of the work. You sat in the patient’s room with Chase, asking her any questions that she could answer to see if you could get any general ideas as to what could have put her in the hospital.
The information you got wasn’t a lot, but you took what you could and the team gathered together to bounce ideas off of one another. House didn’t shut down each idea that came his way; challenging everyone to find a bigger and better idea.
Safe to say that the case went the same as every other. House avoided much of his job, this included clinic duties that Cuddy got after him to do. You packed up your things from Wilson’s office, and he got you to agree to let him walk you to your car.
“So what provoked you to stash your things in my office?” He inquired, pulling on his coat and joining you in the hall.
You watched James close his office door and lock it. You sighed, shaking your head, “Robert and I got into an argument.”
James raised a brow, not bothering to ask for more information. Nodding you continued, “He’s upset that I keep turning him down…but it’s so hard to say no to him every single time.”
You sighed, not noticing that Chase was talking to Cameron in the hall as you shook your head, “He can be selfish. Impulsive…and extremely idiotic. And I don’t know if I’d be able to handle that in a relationship.”
Chase watched you walk past him, James listening to you intently as the both of you didn’t notice his presence. His brows knit together and he lost track of his thoughts as he looked at Allison.
“I’d say they’re arguing about House, but she would never date him,” the brunette made a look of disgust before she chuckled and turned to walk away.
“Cameron, wait,” Chase called out, she faced him again. She looked confused, “I think I need your help with something.”
You had just finished a shower when you heard a knock at the door. Ensuring you looked presentable, you walked to the door and pulled it open. Robert Chase stood smiling down at you, a bouquet of flowers [whatever flowers you wish] in one hand and takeout in the other.
“It’s almost nine o’clock,” You told him, an amused look crossing your face while he shrugged.
“I overheard your conversation with Wilson,” he admitted. This caught you off guard, as the Robert you knew would frequently keep something like this from you for as long as possible, “And I want to say that I hate that you feel that way about me. But for you? I’d be willing to fix that.”
You shook your head, “No, Robert —“
“Y/n, I love you,” he interrupted almost immediately, taking a step toward you and setting the takeout bag on the floor. He shook his head as he looked down at you, “And I don’t want to go without attempting a relationship with you when you feel as if I’m selfish—“
“You are,” You interrupted with a grin.
He shook his head, ignoring you, “Impulsive—“
“Which you are,” you insisted.
“And an idiot,” You made a face, and he sighed, whispering, “You can have that one.”
“I have all of them,” You muttered.
“Please,” he pleaded, taking your hand, “Just give this one chance. Give us…better yet me a chance.”
You smiled up at Robert, knowing it was hard to refuse him when he was being oh so sweet — and surprisingly thinking with his head.
“Of course I will,” you told him, reaching you to wrap an arm around his neck and pulling him down to you. He chuckled as your lips interlocked, a brief kiss being shared before you pulled away, “Let’s get you out of this hallway.”
The next morning, you walked into work with Robert instead of James. You enjoyed each other’s company as you walked into the locker room and changed for the day, deciding on possible things to do after work.
Before you could depart to start on task for the day, you grabbed Robert’s hand to give it a quick squeeze, and then planted a kiss on his cheek.
“Don’t be stupid,”
He chuckled and watched you walk away, maybe you were right, but he wouldn’t let you get away with thinking so.

Never Too Much
WC: 851 Pairing: Mingi X reader
The eyes on them were almost invigorating, if the two hadn’t been heartbroken they probably would’ve been a lot happier with their successful scheme. She leaned further into the man’s arms with a hidden pout, not wanting anyone to see that she was actually upset.
-
She didn’t understand the situation at all honestly, She had gone home hoping to get some rest after a long practice when she came across the scene, her boyfriend trying to push her bestfriend away claiming their affair was over and she needed to leave before his girlfriend came home to see this, her friend was still trying her hardest to get into his embrace though, telling him how lonely she has been since her boyfriend was so busy all of the time.
She took in the scene exhaustedly not even wanting to attempt to react at this point, simply looking at the two blankly even as they took in her presence and begged for her forgiveness or in her friends case trying to get her to keep it a secret. She simply turned on her heel and walked away from the two, shooting a text to her friend’s boyfriend to make sure he knew of the situation, even if he didn’t believe it she at least told him so her conscience was clear.
She stayed in a hotel hoping to get some rest but Song Mingi of course had to come and see her. When he got the text that his girlfriend was cheating on him, he believed it. He was a firm believer that there was truth behind every lie so he wanted to know the full story, and he wanted to hear it from the witness first. His girlfriend was a chronic liar, he noticed it when he asked if she had made dinner already and he came home to no dinner and her still sitting on the couch, and yet again when he asked if She could let Seonghwa into the apartment to get something he left and she opened the door in a button up shirt that wasn’t his and disheveled hair, she handed Seonghwa what he needed and slammed the door in his face, denying the situation entirely when he brought it up.
The tall man showing up was less than a surprise, Mingi was a close friend before he got into the relationship with her friend, her friend being the one that decided that Mingi and her being friends made her uncomfortable but also forced herself to join the other couple during their date nights.
“What do you want, Mingi?”She sighed, her peace being disturbed once more.
“So it was him, you wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t him she was with.” he noted, it wasn’t even a question, he knew. “How’d you find out?”
“They were arguing in the hall when I was coming home, I was too tired to deal with it so I left, sent you the heads up. How’d you know where I was?”
“Well that was easy, it’s the same hotel you’d come hide at when your parents fought. Ms. Kim sent me right up, told me it was the usual room.”
She let the man in, taking their usual spaces to lay on the floor together as they usually do when one of them needs comfort. After almost an hour of silence the
“I have the perfect plan to get under her skin. I’ll tell you tomorrow, for now, rest.” Mingi hummed, pulling her up into his arms to drag her tired body into the bed.
–
That is what led the two to being cuddled up in a party as both of their exes looked on in anger and a bit of shame.
“Nuzzle into my neck.” Mingi mumbled into her ear, instructing her to do the one thing he knows her ex enjoyed and selfishly something he loved as well, but he always loved any contact he could get from his childhood friend. She did as instructed her lips dragging against his skin lightly gaining shivers from the man, she tilted her head a bit to reach his ear.
“Too much?” She whispered only earning a stuttered breath and a shake of the head in response.
“Never too much from you.” He whispered hoping maybe she didn’t hear it clearly but she did, it had been a long time since the two decided not to explore their feelings for each other, growing up together they were bound to have feelings at some point, especially with their parents always asking when their wedding would be, they decided it would be best not to explore that side of their relationship. So they went separate ways to find new loves, never quite feeling complete.
“So this plan. Was it to get back at them, or was it something else you wanted?”
“Both.” His hands gripped the flesh of her hips tighter pulling her impossibly close as her breath lit his nerves with a fire he never felt before.
“Hmm.” She hummed, running her nose against his jaw, “What do you want?”
“You. Always you.”
