Now that I think about it, there is something extremely funny about BioWare indicating that Solas had been preparing this ritual for several hundreds of years and Mike Gamble saying that he did such a shitty job with the scaffolding because he was, quote, "in a hurry" to get this done, because what that implies is either 1) He literally screwed up in the last 0,00001% of the way, or 2) Solas is actually so old that his perception of time as an immortal means that a "mere" 1000 years, to him, does in fact equate to "being in a hurry".

My grandma is coming over to do a bit of my hair. #Doodles#Original#Another idea smol and I are working on together :D Been a bit!#She came up with the concept on this one and I fell in love with it <3 She's very cool hehe#If you're familiar with the game Minit it has Something of a similar premise - not the same strict time pressure but yes on the time loop#Y'ever notice how in some games it seems like the wandering trader or traveling shop seems to come upon you rather than the other way around#:3c Hm ♪ Wonder how they'd know where you were gonna be :3c#The crux is that you play as the weapons shop owner and you're responsible for supplying the hero and his team with weapons!#Except the BBEG has gotten wise to how the hero keeps defeating him and it sick of it - so the shop owner is cursed to be in a time loop!#I love the concept <3 It sounds so fun to play in and there's still plenty of room to think about the mechanics and how it would be played#As well as the art design! :D#We threw around some character concepts - she's really into Baldur's Gate 3 at the moment so of course they had some influence in hers hehe#Only got the starting party for the moment but there are plans for a full team of 4 plus the shopkeep >:3c And various other NPCs lol#A lot of the gameplay would basically boil down to being a bartering simulator hehe ♪#Very RPG trade-this-for-that style quests - under a time limit! Hehe#Since it's the type of game that pretty much requires replaying sections time-loop-style it's all about how quickly you can trial and error#And then hightail it to where you need to be lol#I think we were also tossing around a nap mechanic to skip right to the time loop reset in case you mess up a run haha#I gotta get back to Majora's Mask at some point I swear#We still have a good bit of concept work to do on the art side of things - she's also been really into pixel art lately and I love pixel art#I also managed to pick up a full release of one of the RPGMakers :D So that's an exciting possibility!#I haven't learned most of its ins and outs yet but I do know About importing custom assets at the very least >:3c#Same with Novelty and I haven't done that yet either lol - all in due time! I hope!!

booted up acnh for the first time in uhhhh /checks watch/ idk six months or so bc i SWEAR i'm gonna try to actually finish my island, so have some cute shots of already-finished spots while i contemplate, once again, if my decision to flatten my island and rebuild was really worth it 🥰

the thing about being up to ceramics stuff nearly every day for the last several months means that now that I have no ceramics to do, I can only think about the fact that I want to do ceramics.
#em's adventures in the ceramic bowl mines#I ALSO reallyreally want to do a winter doll project but I cannot start it because I don't have materials or time#I kind of regret making the heron boys + alison in the scale that I did because if I want to add to the set it takes a WHILE#whereas if I'd made them tiny jopson size it would be hardly any work#but I do want to make future Guys to be the right scale so that they can HANG OUT#by which I mean that I think next phase of the Boys House which is being built on my desk is probably going to be alan and davie#someday I will get around to bush and hornblower but I do not think it will be this particular winter#but the point is I GOTTA PUT MY HANDS IN THE CLAY LADS#also I will admit that I am not looking forward to the tailoring on this one#I have been putting off doing keith's coat for over a year because it's going to be Hard#I just realized that probably the reason why I used to get so much done so quickly on doll projects is that alizuriacrow and I basically ha#a workshop for building them... just lie on the floor all day and sew like the world depended on it...

yeah guys idk I'm just thinking maybe the lightheadedness and desire to sit down about halfway through putting away groceries my whole life might not have just been a reaction to the way my parents were when i was a kid and the accompanying anxiety and sudden flurry of movement, but also possibly maybe i have a Health Thing about this...
#thank god i finally scheduled that doctor's appointment#Jan 15 cannot come quickly enough tbh#like i've streamlined getting shit put away and i hurry as soon as the wooziness starts hitting because i know i'm on borrowed time#and that's when the trauma reaction kicks in of ''i can't stop halfway through i'll be in trouble'' anxiety#because i *enjoy* putting away groceries and organizing the kitchen#i just also can't without a lot of assistance and plenty of spoons and time to prepare myself physically and mentally beforehand#this post brought to you by i had this realization doing the groceries and now i'm having like a lot of thoughts about it#i can't do it all in one go ever and i have never been able to without someone else handling about half of it#no matter how much i get or of what i can only get about half put away before time's up and i gotta sit down#it's why so much of my food was non-perishable when i was on my own#cause i'd get the cold things put away because they *had* to be#and then i couldn't physically do any more - especially if the groceries that week were more cold than non-perishable#but like yeah if i had to stop or take a break in putting away the groceries (despite also having gone to the grocery store#and walked around the whole store and grabbed items AND carried the heavy things into the house because i was the heavy lifter#AND i was in sports and had probably either just done a lot of exercise or was still in recovery from the day before/earlier that day)#i got fussed at for not helping out#so that's fucked up and fuck my mom actually she sucks#ugh

Vendors at my job love me so much there's fighting amongst them in one company over who gets to deliver to my store that week
#prince's talk tag#my secret is i dont wanna deal with people any longer than i have to so i get them in and out as quickly as i can#and the vendors and drivers love that bc they got other places to be#the vendor that told me this said the other receivers will take their time and dilly dally too much leaving a line of trucks outside#but im usually on top of that#there are days where i cant help it but i go as fast as i can bc i really dont want to deal with people#and i can avoid that by taking them in check in their product sign the receipts and get them outta there#vendor also said at least with his company the dispatcher will be like 'here this store needs a delivery done'#and the vendors will go 'no im not doing that store' which will make the dispatcher go to one & say 'well its your route so you gotta do it'#and it was like that for my store before I took over#now the dispatcher will be like 'hey Prince's store needs a delivery' and the vendors are actually fighting like#'ill do it' 'no imma do it!' 'no me!'#ngl it made me happy. i didnt think i was that well liked#like some drivers have showed their appreciation to me about my speed and ability to handle the job but to have people fight over me? wow#and this was like an hour after a manager complimented how i run shit around here bc i know what im doing#and when im not here it all falls apart#which does suck bc i wish the mess wasnt left to me to clean up if im not here#but i am training someone rn who will cover for me when im not around so hopefully that helps a little

#i have been. pouring as much of my free time as possible into this project.#and yet i am continuously confounded by my incredibly slow work flow and my university hounding me for documents#in addition to what i can. only assume is burnout creeping in on my psyche hhh#which is to say that my focus is abysmal#it takes me hours to work up the nerve to work#and it feels mind-numbing once i actually start to push through#(and the entire time i am craving games and chatting with friends on such a visceral level it makes me ill hgasdkjsdfkj)#i want to say 'ahhh i'll take a break to just hang out with friends once i get this step done'#but i know this break will last several days and i am also internally screaming over how quickly my internship is rushing up on me#and how i know that in A Very Short Period Of Time my free time will be reduced to -100#it is. a very sucky place to be.#need a break . . . . . but gotta get this done before the deadline . . . . . waughh ; ; ;

could be worse but i'm doing better by locking myself up in my room and watching movies and low key critique them. just giving myself something to do when i'm not cleaning. and so far i've been watching animated movies of my childhood since youtube surprisingly still has the full movies uploaded and ironically there's a lot of snow white here tho she's not my fave disney princess. i loved 3 of these direct to video snow white movies and can't wait for that disney live action of snow white to get thoughts about that one
