hi hi!! i stumbled across your design for your joltik emmet which i thought was super cool!! big fluffy coat for the win. Shiny fella.

but i Also noticed you drew a litwick ingo, and i only saw like one (1) piece of art of that specific design. i was wondering, did you ever happen to draw him more than that? :0c i wasn't sure if maybe you did and it just never got posted (or i happened to not see it in tags!)

Firstly I wanna say croc is THE reason for the divorced tier I had everyone in the husband/fiance/bf (and cusp + complicated) tiers I had the list downloaded and then I looked at croc in the husband tier and I was like no. Divorced………

Anyway I think you’re a marriage of convenience at first. Crocodile needs a wife to look more like An Upstanding Citizen Ready To Settle Down for his plans in Alabasta, you need the stability and rapport for your own reasons. A deal was struck (including a nice shiny prenup and an easy way out for both of you), the wedding goes off without a hitch, and now you’re cohabitating.

You’re all but a stranger, truthfully, though he’ll admit you were one of the most beautiful brides he’s seen walking down the aisle. And he finds your presence in his home less distracting than expected—you stay out of his way mostly, though the pair of you eat meals together and sleep in the same bed and you are always expected to be on his arm for formal occasions. You’re more than decent company, slowly warming to him and growing more open; willing to give advice on occasion, even, and it’s good advice he’s prone to heeding.

Which is why he’s blindsided when you drop the papers on his desk. There’s little he can do—they were practically already signed before the wedding, and in the surprise he can’t compose himself enough to think up a proper protest. All he can do is fold his hands together as you turn to leave, clear his throat, and call out, “Might I ask why?”

You shrug. It almost seems sad. “I want something more. You’re a very busy man, I don’t think you can give that to me.”

And those words haunt him, all the more because every trace of you is gone in the span of a few days. He lays in his bed, alone, pondering how much you truly lived in his home and how much he truly had to give you. He thought he made sure you wanted for nothing—but, clearly, that wasn’t the case. And if he’d known you’d be gone in the span of a few years…

In hindsight perhaps he’d been a bit distant. His work took up the vast majority of his time. All those meals were more often than not spent in silence, with Crocodile leaving long before you finished your food; you were often asleep before he came to bed, still slumbering when he woke; he’d arrive to those formal events with you on his arm and part ways almost immediately, drawn to meet with some politician or another and leaving you on your own.

The bed feels empty.

And then he gets a report about Nefertari Vivi. It all goes downhill from there. The empire he spent years building crumbles beneath his feet, toppled by that godforsaken princess and the upstart pirate with a straw hat. And as he’s carted off to Impel Down… he still thinks of you.

It’s perhaps a good thing that you left when you did. In a certain sense it saved you, severing ties with him when you did. But foolishly he wonders about the timing—wonders if it would have happened at all if you’d stayed. Logically he knows the rationale is anything but sound.

Instinctively… whenever he gets out, whatever he intends to do next, he thinks he needs you at his side again.

So when the break-out happens, and Crocodile is given a freedom he’d nearly given up on, the first thing he does is begin to track you down.

It takes more than he thought it would. His web of informants isn’t half of what it once was, and his name no longer pulls as much weight, forced to remain in the shadows as he now is. You, meanwhile, catch onto the mystery person trying to keep tabs on you far too quickly for his liking—flighty thing, never quite setting down roots, quick to flee at the first sign of danger. A trait that has only seemed to worsen in his absence, it seems.

But it’s only a matter of time. He’s Sir Crocodile after all, back from banishment to the depths of the ocean, sure to see the sun again. His men close in on you within a year as he builds up his numbers again, but Crocodile ensures he’s the first to make contact.

He intends to show you immediately how things will be different this time.

You’ve made temporary home on a quaint little island, sharing a house with a little old granny who lets him in eagerly when he presents a bouquet and says it’s for you. There he waits, served tea and biscuits that he doesn’t taste.

And then the door opens. You pause when you see him, eyes wide—donning a breezy sundress you’d never have worn for him in Alabasta, your hair wind-tousled so unlike the meticulous updos he always saw you in, with a basket of produce under arm—and the sight of you has his chest unwinding. It’s like he can breathe again.

Not that he had any intentions to before, but the smell of your familiar perfume steels his resolve to never let you disappear again.

I am so sorry to bother you, but I need to know if anyone else has my headcannon about Aaron. So you know how before Finals, the Foxes have a clipboard to pass around for people who will attend and the Monsters skip it? Erik shows up. Nicky is surprised and elated that Erik shows up. I have thought for years that Aaron actually contacts Erik to ask if he can come, and when he confirms it, he tells Wymack to make sure there's a seat available for him. Aaron is the reason Erik shows up for their final game against the Ravens. Please tell me I am not alone!!!

Oh my god... I have never thought about this, but now that you've pointed it out... yes, Aaron absolutely was the one who marked Erik down and arranged for him to come.

it’s been good!! i was playing google doodle in class (as any attentive student would) and got obsessed with the cat look at herrr 🥺🥺 i love you momo

one of the best things about halloween for me is seeing which google doodle comes up HFJFKD this is my favourite one too!!!

and ngl, it’s helped reignite some passion for drawing bc lately i’ve been feeling weird about art, and it was getting harder to pick up my pen or open up the canvas,, don’t even know why it started. this was a nice lil break from it all though, just putting down strokes purely for fun ^_^

are any of the brothers still in contact with totoko or chibita in postgrad plan? also, i assume most of them live in different wards of tokyo now, but did any of them leave tokyo entirely?

osomatsu and totoko are still in contact! she supplies the fish for the restaurant he works at, so he's started taking over pickup duty so he can see her on the clock. she more or less works fulltime at the fish shop now

and osomatsu's shift is usually restaurant dinner shift -> konbini night shift, but on the rare instances he gets put on lunch shift he'll go to see chibita after work. trade some oden for some fried rice

choro is still in intermittent contact with totoko, but they don't talk often, and she's out of contact with the rest of the brothers

and chibita hasnt seen any of them besides oso, which is why he still has all his hair.

they're all still in tokyo, but jyushi often leaves the region for work, so he's pretty hard to get a hold of

this is going to be hard to answer, but what is the best moment between Kit and Ty in TDA?

this question is brutal bc every single kitty scene is absolutely fire, but if i had to choose in the moment then currently i’m thinking it’s probably:

“To never being parted,” Kit said, looking across the campfire at Ty.

Ty’s thin face was limned in light from the red-gold flames. “To never being parted,” he said, with grave emphasis that made Kit shiver for reasons he did not understand.

just bc i absolutely adore it! like the campfire vibes, them looking at the stars together, plus it’s like the last moment before everything properly goes to shit and it’s just so *shivers* bc it like directly parallels to them then being separated at the end of qoaad and it’s crazy. and also i love it bc i think it shows how it wasn’t only kit who didn’t wanna get separated, but also ty didn’t want to be parted from kit and just!!! they’re in love basically <3

Hiiii erm. I don’t know if this counts as something you’d wanna talk abt but as someone climbing the ranks to “#1 Janine Liker” I need to ask what ur thoughts are on her dynamic with the busters.,, any hcs or just thoughts if you have them! (Also I think ur pretty cool! Keep on keeping on pal!!)

JANINE MELNITZ MY LOVE!!!!! Super fun ask, had to wait till the end of my midterm season to respond properly 💪

So!! I absolutely consider her a part of the family. Ghostbusters are incomplete without her, she’s not just a secretary or a friend - she’s family. Can’t exclude her. When it comes to dynamics, let’s see.

Egon: hot take but I actually really like them as a romantic couple, they are T4T sapphics in my mind 🫶 however, they would never be the stereotypical “dates, kissing, parents, marriage, kids” couple, that’d be a terrible mischaracterisation. Their dynamic is about their mutual bond, care and love for each other rather than all the conventional relationship stuff. They know they love one another and are always there if the other needs help - and that’s what matters.

So basically they are in love, but more in an qpr way (or maybe I’m just aroace and I write all relationships like this lol)

Ray: best buddies! There aren’t super many moments with them interacting 1 on 1 in the show, but from the ones we see it’s obvious that they care a lot for each other while being close enough to sometimes be more strict than you’d be with your colleagues. When it comes to headcanons I imagine Janine would get a motorbike later in life (and I mean like way later, in her 50-60s) and Ray would teach her basic machinery to look after it. Additionally, I imagine they could cook together for the whole team and would enjoy decorating the Firehouse for holidays.

Peter: best friends, bffs, that type that are ready to choke each other at times and constantly poke fun at one another, while simultaneously caring a lot and loving each other to bits. That’s just how they are in canon, I don’t even need to add anything. Just gonna say that I love how they wrote the “always looking for a gf” male character and a female character’s dynamic to be completely non-romantic and not weird. Especially in the 80’s. I adore them ❤️

Winston: the level-headed gang. I imagine they’d be the ones always rolling their eyes fondly at the others’ antics bc they just get too crazy with it sometimes. They both love reading and I can see them chatting about books or solving crosswords together.

So yeah, I really really love them & Janine is definitely a very important part of the group dynamic!! Janine Melnitz, you are loved!!!
