Just wanted to doodle this scene in chapter 7 from the fic ''The Greatest Thing We've Lost'' by SupremeCommanderOfPencils. It's such a good little post movie story about the hardships of healing and accepting change, I really liked it !

Hehe, I will admit I was one of THOSE fans who didn't really watch the show when it was airing. Though to be fair, I had grown up with '87 and none of the later iterations caught my attention either. I refused to watch '03 (partially because I was in college at that point and hated how they were trying to rehash all my childhood shows to be more "edgy." Sonic X, TMNT '03, etc). When '12 came out I was equally jaded with having just finished my career in 3D Animation for television and was just sick of the look and lack luster animation/vis dev that 3D was capable of at the time. So when Rise came around I was really hopeful... I just really wasn't a fan of how they represented Splinter when I first watched it.

To this day Down with the Sickness is still probably one of my least favorite episodes so it's a shame that's one of the free episodes Nickelodeon decided to air online.
