for us, alters can mask specific things, & some can mask everything

i can mask as the host until it comes to food. today, for example, i bought a milkshake we always buy and after one sip realized i hated it so i sat with it the entire car ride home as our mother seemed very confused that we weren’t eating a food we’ve always liked. i’ve also received comments from our father about me deviating from our typical order at a local pizza shop.

I only ever see DID discussed as purely covert or overt, but never anything about systems with mixed presentation.
