The familiar chime of the bells that hung above the door to the entrance of the tattoo shop was welcoming to Miriam as she confidently strode inside. She had a bright grin on her face as she approached the counter and spotted Posey. "Alright, hear me out, Pose. You're an apprentice, right? Well, I've been bored and antsy for three days so I thought what better to do than get a tattoo? The only problem there is I have NO idea what to get!" Miriam ran her hand through her hair to brush it out of her face. "That's where you come in, my trusted, tattooing friend." She glanced around the walls where various designs were hung then scanned the counter to see if there were any flash sheets. "Anywaaaaaays, my point is will you just follow your muse and, like, give me something you think I'll like? I trust you. Plus, I bet it's great practice!"

When the idiocy of what the dude had said really registered she looked from him, to the bike, the skateboard in her hand, back to the bike, then finally at him. "It's the middle of winter and I already have a skateboard. If you're going to try and sell something at least be convincing and realistic. Like, bro, abandoned?? Be so for real right now." Miriam rolled her eyes. "You're selling to the wrong person. Try again with someone that doesn't already have a set of wheels. You might have better luck." She flashed him a grin. "Like you said you're willing to give it to someone in need and clearly...I am not."

Miriam rolled her eyes as she stood at the top of the ramp, a beat up sneakered foot tilting her board up as it held it in place. "Oh my god, dude. You're not old, but I'm also not five. I totally got this." Miriam grinned at Wendy. She appreciated the other, both as a friend and almost a mentor type figure of sorts. Miriam was an only child but Wendy would have been a cool ass older sibling, that's for sure. "You won't have to drive me anywhere if that's your biggest concern," she teased. "Besides," she began as she started to get in position to go down the ramp. "I survived the other two concussions I'm sure I could survive this one!" Was all she said before leaning the skateboard down to go rolling down the ramp.

"Just don't get a concussion or anything," she tried instead, finding a compromise, reasonable advice for someone still hip and cool. "I don't want to have to drive you to the hospital."

there's no real response offered at first, the skateboarder simply moving to follow the other because she isn't entirely sure what else to do. it'd be awkward to stand there and wait by themselves. the question, however, has them pausing too. ❝ nobody asked doctor frankenstein to share his secrets, so why should i? ❞ not that drew knows that to be true, of course, having never read the book. unless it's related to the occult or teaches a new fun fact, she never bothers. there are other ways of losing one's self; ones that are much more fun. another smile, this one wider than the last, as they lean forward conspiratorially, ❝ it'd ruin all my magic and i can't have that. ❞ plus, sharing their secrets has always meant they wouldn't be needed anymore and drew needs to be needed. even if only for things as such. she straightens, a finger making an x motion across her heart, ❝ don't worry. i won't do ya dirty. promise. ❞
