πŸ–Š for Liana?
Send me a β€œπŸ–Š+an OCβ€œ and I will talk about that OC! It can be a headcanon, a fun fact, a small paragraph of backstory- anything! Alternatively, send in just a β€œπŸ–Šβ€œ and I will talk about any one of my OCs at random!
Tumblr media
Contrary to mount acquisition ingame, Liana acquires Sif sometime before the personal story takes place.
Bit of a personal headcanon of mine, but the species of wolf Sif belongs to (calling them great wolves for now) are cousins to direwolves like Garm, and -prior to the norn exodus south- were often used as a mode of transportation by the norn in the Far Shiverpeaks. Following Jormag's rising and the exodus, however, the number of great wolves seemed to dwindle, be it the ever-changing landscape diverting their usual routes or falling victim to Dragon Corruption.
Sif's pack managed to find their way down to Wayfarer Foothills, eventually getting rounded up and captured by the Sons of Svanir. The Sons had a plan to turn them into a pack of giant Icebrood wolves to unleash upon Hoelbrak, and were successful in corrupting one of the wolves. Sif was about to be turned next when the Sons were set upon by Liana, her adoptive brother Hjalmar, and a few of their friends. During the battle, Liana was able to break Sif and the other wolves free from their restraints, prompting them to join in the fight, eventually sending the dragon cultists scattering and putting their fallen pack member to rest.
The remaining great wolves were relocated to Wolf's Shrine in Outcast's Cleft, mainly to tend to their wounds and for the shamen to figure out how to care and protect them. Sif, however, had no plans to remain. Liana and Hjalmar both found that Sif and another wolf that would eventually be named Yngvi seemed reluctant to leave the two and kept following them out of the shrine, eventually resulting in the two siblings caving and bringing the wolves home with them.
Since that day, Sif hasn't left Liana's side since, and due to all the exposure to dragon magics/otherworldly powers they have come across, she has developed abilities akin to that of the Elonian Jackal.

Heya! Thanks for the ask.
My newest OC, Ellar, is the sarcastic and scheming son of a fantasy Scottish-inspired Eagle Clan chief. He deals with chronic pain, and his lack of magical ability makes in ineligible to lead. His goal is to prove everyone wrong about him... along with unlocking an ancient magical power.

πŸ–Š+Sage!
I love hearing about her :D
EEE OK
Sage comes from an old shut off village (long died out by the time the nnt plot takes place-- long before the Fairy Forest got attacked 3000 years ago. This was before the time where humans commonly absorbed magic, and were just starting the process. Evolution was happening.
Sage was one of the first in her village to develop a magical ability. Unfortunately she was the only one that had a potentially damaging abilty, which is to turn things to poison.
The village wasn't very fond of her ability-- she felt very isolated, becuse it felt like everyone was just waiting for her to turn evil or whatever. When she was in her late teens, she ran off to try and find somewhere that wouldn't make her feel like this. She ended up finidng the fairy forest, and with it, Gloxinia.
She eventually did go home, but continued visiting. They were friends for like 5 years and when her family started trying to get her to marry someone Gloxinia finally made a damn move and she left the human world for good.
other random things
She was scared of him at first, because she'd never seen a fairy before.
She fell first, said nothing, he fell harder.
Gloxinia calls her his Moonrose, because she gives him life. Sometimes she will call him that, but she will usually use Love. He will also call her My Lady
They don't get married but he makes her his official royal partner because he wanted something like marriage but isn't sure how it works
he gave her a drop of the Fountain every decade or so so that he wouldn't outlive her. Of course that happened anyway, but he tried his best.
shes athletic and is fully able to pick him up.
Sage was not liked by every fairy-- many thought their king made a mistake inviting her in, but he didn't care.

*hands you amani and a πŸ–Š*
Amani, from Otherworld Explorer's Club!
She got transported to my world of Laoche when she was 8, the only one of the club to be in your traditional sword and sorcery style fantasy world. When she arrived there, she was adopted by a poor woodcutter family in Isrian (far from the actual plot) but they cared about her and taught her how to use magic and she had older siblings who took her on adventures. Most of it was all pretty mundane stuff for them, but to her, it was a wonderous change from her rocky home life in the Real World.
She had the type of ability that lets you amplify magic in the natural world, allowing her to hear the world songs, help plants grow, heal wounds, turn small breezes into tornados, and transform a candle into a bonfire. She loved using these abilities to entertain people and ended up joining a travelling troupe of performers to see more of this world. She's very acrobatic and very much a dramatic theater kid who likes being the center of attention! The theater troupe became her found family and she loved it there even though she saw more scary parts of the world - lands that were torn by conflict and disease, but she liked the chance to being some joy and enchantment to those people.
When she came back to the real world, she was 18 in Laoche but returned as an 8 year old while retaining all the memories, losing a whole decade of the life she had, losing all the freedom and the independence. She hates it and she's desperate to go back to the world she really calls home, but despite her bitterness, she's still the first to try and cheer up her teammates. She's best friends with Laura and still feels the flicker of magic when she gets overly emotional.
She's the passion to Laura's logic, the recklessness to her precision, the outgoing extroversion to her reserved demeanor, the wanderlust of running TO a place versus the desperation of running AWAY from a place. They make a great team.

gogogog! lay ur lore on me
ok so none of my ocs were specified (can't blame you i do not have all of them listed lmao) so i'll tell you how three of them are all related despite all currently being in different universes!
Basically, all of them are siblings originally born on earth. The eldest, who came to transition to be Gun, ended up being a black sheep sort of kid because he was meant to be a twin, but absorbed said twin, so his mother always treated him like he killed his sibling before ever being born. Because he'd figured out pretty early on that mom would never forgive him anyways, he never bothered being present with his family and zoned out or ran off, resulting in him being sent off to military school pretty early on.
the middle sibling, Alia, and youngest, Annalise, were born one after the other a few years after Gun, and were too young to have many memories of him. Alia ended up being a stand-in parent for Annalise because of how often their mother works, so they had a really close bond.
So basically, Alia had extremely potent magical abilities that another universe, the Spiral, were looking for to basically keep it from meeting it's doom and as soon as she was old enough to survive the teleportation trip across universes, they yoinked her.
But Annalise, direly in need of Alia who was essentially her mother instead of her actual mother, was definitely not ready for teleporting across universes. Which sucked for her, because upon seeing Magic Shitβ„’ happening to Alia, she hugged on tight to her and promptly got dragged a little under halfway through the trip before being entirely eviscerated and dying.
However, being a stubborn little shit, her soul refused to die and managed to take whatever it had to make do with in wherever the hell its stuck now and reconstructed a body out of aether, and then shortly after crashed on the moon with no memories of anything except her name being Annalise.
Also, Gun happened to be home from school when this happened, so he also caught the blame. el oh el. el em ayy oh
So basically, Gun's still on earth, trying to figure out what REALLY happened to his sisters, Alia's been yoinked to an entirely new universe at the ripe age of 7 to solve all it's problems and become its savior, and Annalise is a newborn baby again on the fucking moon of Eorzea with no recollection of her previous life!

πŸ–Š ALSO SOME RAZORSONG RAMBLING and i'll remember to go anon this time (@commanderhorncleaver)
SO RAZORSONG, my beloved shady bastard
Razorsong is a Preceptor in Order of Whispers, the highest ranking members besides the enigmatic Master of Whispers, and as such he holds a large amount of power and control within the Order, and most younger members of the Order don't even know the time Razorsong wasn't a Preceptor, the old charr has been holding the position for a very long time. No one even within the Order knows his real name either, like he just appeared out of nowhere one day, any records of who he was before the Order erased and gone.
Razorsong used his position to entertain his interest in occult and dangerous magic, gathering rare ancient artifacts into his personal collection, some for genuine research, some for his own amusement, eventually gaining a particular interests in the Mists and all the magic, anomalies and creatures tied to them.
That lead Razorsong to eventually, with the help of an ancient spell found in one of his treasured grimoires, find and bind a Mists Demon to his will and harness its power, essentially leashing the creature to Razorsong, a dangerous affair, but one he succeeded in, allowing him to pass through the Mists and unleash the demonic powers on his own whim.
Additionally he has a tendency to pick up promising Whispers agents under his wing for mentorship and work, he was actually the one to take Arren into Whispers after his fiasco in the Ash Legion and save his life that way as he saw potential in him, and right now his protege, and chained attack dog as some might say, is Axel Mindcrusher, an incredibly powerful chronomancer whose abilities Razorsong got interested in, helping him train and get better and give him special priviledges within the Order for exchange of him working in Razorsong's interests.
Now, to lift up some mystery around him, before Whispers Razorsong was an Ash Legion soldier named Decimus Lightstrike. Born sickly and weak, it was doubted he'd even be able to go through the Fahrar, something Decimus managed to do with sheer stubbornness, and with the decision to lean into magical training to compensate for his lack of physical strength, something he turned out to have a talent in, gaining quite an ambition that eventually led him to work with some Flame Legion shamans, feeding them Ash intel in exchange for their magical knowledge and an opportunity to eventually join in Flame, where they said he'd be able to become a high-ranking Shaman with his abilities. That didn't come to pass though, as he was uncovered and was going to face the tribunal. That wouldn't come either, as panicing Decimus would end up killing his warband and running, all except one survivor, his former partner and legionnaire, Asriel Lightwill.
He ended up going back to the Flame Shaman that he was working with, who never actually planned to let him join, just using the charr's ambitions for his own gain. That obviously enraged Lightstrike, showing the Shaman just how much he has learned from him, a show of force the Shaman wouldn't survive.
After that, he ended up on the run for a while, skulking around Kryta in hiding before eventually running into some Whispers Agents and doing a couple of odd jobs for them, impressing them with his magical power and knowledge, resulting in him joining in with the Order, taking on a new name and eventually, through favors, manipulations and covert operations wiping all records of who he was beforehand, rising to power as the enigmatic preceptor, Razorsong. The only person who remembers him from before is his surviving bandmate, Asriel, who remained an Ash free agent after becoming a gladium and getting injured in that incident, but he's far away from Razorsong now.

πŸ–Š πŸ–Š πŸ–Š for the ocs giving u the most brain rot
So, I have a couple of newer OCs who manifested while I was busy living in the woods, who I haven't been able to talk about yet.
First up is a funky little dude named Flare Solstis. They're one of the oldest beings in the multiverse and was created directly by the Unexisting, one of the four primordial entities in my lore who is the entity of creation and destruction. They are also hilariously out of touch with most major things that happen in the multiverse because they just made themselves a paradise pocket dimension and hang out there most of the time. They LOVE to play games with people, extremely deadly games that are really only fun for them and not the actual players.
Another new addition to the brain soup is a woman named Zoe. She's from my Rot and Ruin story universe, and she's a wildlife technician/wildlife biologist who's worked primarily in my twisted, weird version of Wyoming. She might get her own short story, but I'm not entirely sure yet, cause she's a part of a special little secret project I'm currently working on. I would like to give her her own story though, because she's Seen Things.
I also have a funky new Guy who lives in my friend Isa's world of Arboresia who has been consuming a lot of my brainspace. His name is Bristol Isaacs, and he works for a branch of the Nevermore Institute that is based in the territory of Jazswing (basically the roaring '20's if it was a physical place with magic). He's an Ability user, which means he has one extremely hyperspecific magical ability, and his is that he can infiltrate anywhere, as long as he's wearing a specific outfit. He's also in an extremely unhealthy codependent nightmare of a relationship with an evil little shit named Adric. Bristol is currently hiding Adric from the authorities, who are hunting Adric because he is a nightmare who likes killing and also forcefully turning people into the same kind of creature he is, which is VERY not okay in Arboresia.

πŸ–Š + Laurel!!!!
Laurel is so excited when papa decides she's old enough to start trying to learn magic. Her dad is a paladin, her papa, gramma, grandpa, and auntie are clerics, and her Nini is a druid, so she's been surrounded by magic her whole life. She inherited the firbolg ability to disappear at will, talk to plants and animals, and when she's a little older she masters disguise self, but she is SO excited to learn more. I think she eventually becomes a druid, I love the idea of her using wild shape to run with the goats or fly over the fields.

Dawn's turn!
I think I'll talk a little about Dawn's psychic abilities!
Shes still a beginner in psychic magic, so her spells are quite weak. She can move small objects and open doors if they arent too thick, but other than that its kinda useless πŸ˜… shes working on it, though! She makes sure to leave room for studying and practice every day, though sometimes she pushes herself too far and ends up giving herself nosebleeds or migraines.

πŸ–Š+ what better time to talk about an OC after they're dead! niquis
*snorts* extremely fitting yes!
And since you mentioned her death, let me tell you how unfortunately well it went with how the session went down on her side:
So, the party is currently in Hell (literally)
At the start of the session during the short rest, she was about to write down her dads' name and her address so that in case she'd die, the party would know where to return her body. However, she ended up not doing so as she got annoyed at the bard, Calaindo, because Niquis got sensitive about a topic of death, being abandoned to die as a baby, and how people should leave children at orphanages instead of, you know, leaving them to die in the snow.
So, Niquis decided not to ask him for things to write it down yet, as she believed she would have time anyway (ahahahah-)
THEN
Due to a Night Hag magic, the party got separated one by one, in the dark, as she was holding the hands of two party members- Calaindo and Agidel, the ranger. Now, one of Niquis' biggest fear is being left alone; she isn't used to it, and she hates it, especially in those circumstances. Calaindo was holding her and trying to reassure her when he, too, vanished. Niquis was the last one to be taken away, as she was running blind in the dark, while crows were laughing all around.
The party all got teleported? In identical, separate rooms, with only a mirror.
Niquis was fully panicking and almost lost her voice, calling for everyone repeatedly while slamming her hand and fist against the stone walls till it drew blood.
And then, we started fighting our clones.
The whole time, Niquis fully believed that the party would somehow break in, and she didn't use her health potion as she wants to keep it for the others; they matter the most, and again, she thought they'd get reunited. Her clone was unfortunately very good at trying to kill her, and pulled Niquis into an illusion of the one moment Niquis did a screw up and was so scared she ran away from home on impulse.
And so, Niquis did what she did back then- she tried to run. But by going out of the illusion, she took a massive amount of damages, and went down.
With an undead ability, she was able to get conscious for just a turn again- but it wasn't enough of course.
Her clone killed her with a replica of the axe her dad got Niquis as well- and the last thing Niquis did was look at her hands where she tied the matching leather bracelet she bought for the party, and the tattoos she gave herself that reminded her of the party and her dads.
She heard the sound of howling wolves that belongs to her goddess as she died.

πŸ–ŠπŸ–Š!
Two of them! Let's see.
Ciprys Dreamweaver was born Ciprys Kazarishi, and her parents were wanderers who were not content to stay beneath the waves in Sui-no-Sato. Instead, they were more interested in roaming the world, learning about the lands through which they passed and helping people they met. Her father was a physician whose skill lay in the creation of potions imbued with small amounts of aether, and her mother was a weaver who kept her family clothed and used local products to create items for sale to supplement their traveling funds.
Ciprys's upbringing was highly unconventional, and though she learned to read and write and reckon, she did not learn in a traditional school setting, and much of what she did learn tended to be related to the world around her at the time of learning. Therefore, she is only an indifferent student of her own culture and history, but knows a great deal about the lands between Doma and Thavnair, which was her parents' final destination.
Her parents were content to stay in Radz-at-Han and finally settle down, just a bit too old to continue their restless wanderings, but at twenty, Ciprys was still overcome with wanderlust. She took the next boat to Eorzea instead and ended up in the port city of Limsa Lominsa. Deciding that the pirate town was far more to her speed than sleepy Radz-at-Han, and that the wandering life of an Adventurer sounded just fine, she took up with the Arcanist's guild and learned the art of geomancy alongside her trusty Carbuncle. Her skill with magic earned her the moniker Dreamweaver.

Ale'xana was the daughter of a minor but influential family within the Chiss Ascendancy. She was the second of her parents' three children and their only girl. They had plans for her; there were some more important but less wealthy families looking for an alliance - but when she began to show Force powers at the age of two, that put paid to all of their plans. Mortified, her parents would have rid themselves of her, but fortunately (at least at the time) there was a Sith on Csilla who felt her initial surge of power and came seeking her.
Feeling her strength, he laid claim to the child, and her parents were more than happy to give her over to slavery with the Sith. He took her back to his stronghold, where he placed her among his slaves and used her as a living battery, siphoning off her force powers and the powers of his other slaves. He would occasionally amuse himself by training them, but for the most part his cadre of Force-slaves did menial work and served to power their master's ill deeds.
When Ale'xana was seven, the stronghold was raided by a group of Jedi. They killed her master and many of his acolytes, but kept the children alive, intending to take them back to the Republic. About half of them managed to evade capture or flee afterwards, but Alex and three others were taken back to Republic space, deemed young enough to be turned to the Light side.
The Jedi who took charge of Ale'xana was not your typical Jedi. Hailing from Corellia, he was one of the Green Jedi who had broken with tradition. The other Jedi were just as pleased to leave her to him; the Chiss were never well-regarded by the Republic or the Jedi for being willing to ally themselves openly and willingly with the Sith Empire.
For ten years she trained with the Green Jedi and grew strong in the Force. The traditions of the Green Jedi served her well; she never completely gave herself over to the Light side, and the pragmatism of Corellia's defenders allowed for the fact that she still maintained some of her Dark abilities and her Chiss attitudes.
Eventually, however, she reached the apex of what her masters could teach her, and still had much more potential. Reluctantly, her master sent word to Tython, and equally reluctantly, the Jedi Council agreed to host his unusual padawan.

wynona is the only one of my ocs that deals with her grief with pure, unbridled rage. she's always had a temper problem and was really brutal as a child; if the keeper of her clan hadn't seen potential in her magic abilities, it's possible none of those anger issues would have been trained out of her at all. that being said, after the end of inquisition, something in her snaps and she finds herself returning to those old, childhood behaviors. she can be a complete terror on some days and the worst part is, she knows she's lashing out at people who don't deserve it but she can't seem to stop herself.

πŸ–Š+ Fura
Omg epic throwback to League of Legends OC, I have not forgotten my girl! For anyone who doesn't know, Fura is my character for League of Legends/ Runeterra. She's a wandering artist, originally from Demacia who now travels through Ionia by foot to paint all she sees. Her ability is to mostly passively absorb magic around her which can influence the magic she can use, her pysical abilites, even her physical appearance or behaviour. This is why she loves to be in Ionia cause there's plenty of magic to be around (as opposed to Demacia which left her basically soulless) and also it's mooooostly friendly. Mostly.
Being a travelling artist she needs the right gear to keep her art supplies, especially the paper and paint safe. Before she went on this journey, Fura went through a lot of planning and even prepared her own design of how her backpack should look and work. She let someone else build it and was pretty confident that this will hold for her entire journey but she was a fool. It was not water proof at all and Fura went through a lot of trial and error to achieve the gear she now uses to carry her stuff. Being heavily influenced by Ionian culture since she lived there for so long now, it's all handmade and natural materials. Minor breaks she learned to fix herself, major ones she let a professional fix them. Fura loves watching the skills of professional artists and crafters so she will happily watch someone fix her stuff. Just don't touch her supplies.

πŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–ŠπŸ–Š neri~
gushin' about ocs!
Tumblr media
Oh my sweet boy Neri. I might as well go into a little biography, since his "canon" self is a little different from his XIV version that I've been RPing for the last few years. Gonna put it under a readmore for length. And it's probably gonna be kinda long.
A quick bio:
Name: Nerium Oleander (named for the flower) Age: between 19-21 Birthday: Sept 9th Height: 5' 2" Personality: Very sweet and caring. He can be really shy but once he' gets to know someone he's a little more outgoing. Though always remains hesitant in befriending people. Hobbies: Gardening, drawing, rearing animals (a real farmer type)
Tumblr media
I'll share a little about his creation then give a sort of abridged biography of where and what he is now.
He was originally conceived as a "Nobbodysona". That's more or less what it sounds like. A persona of myself, but as a Nobody from Kingdom Hearts. Then later developed into a proper Kingdom Hearts OC. He was designed to be a foil to Marluxia and would eventually take his place after Marluxia dies.
His overall theme was a sunflower samurai. And his "element" was poison. He'd be a more defensive type that inflicts status ailments instead of using brute force. His background was kind of really meh and I didn't put a lot of work into it, so I doin't entirely remember what I had. It was something about him looking for a "cure" for a heart condition that only seemed to stop when he became a Nobody.
His overall design was created with XIV, so his hairstyle may look familiar from that. Though at this point he hasn't been developed that far. And even after he's been turned into an "original verse" oc, he keeps that same hairstyle. But with some modifications. It's sort of his trademark and it's gonna be real hard to not draw him with it.
Alright, so THEN he becomes an XIV oc, but I won't go into super detail, since his early iterations were never consistent, and ultimately isn't all that different from what he is now. So I'll just hop straight into Tellus Neri.
Tumblr media
Tellus being the name of the world he's from, and also the name I use for the verse as a whole. It's a world where magic is common place. Except for humans, who can't wield magic but are proficient in all things science and engineering. But naturally, there isn't harmony. The Elf King who runs a massive empire sees their developments as a threat and works to eradicate them all.
And now we're where Neri comes in. His general story and placement is in a more modern era in this world. A sort of DnD version of the 1920s. Where it's illegal to drink and humans struggle for equality. You know, the things we dealt with before! (And the Fae are treated as lesser beings too, but for very different reasons.)
Anyway, now here's the thing about Neri. He's half human and half fae. "The fae" is just a very general blanket term for beings that aren't purely human or purely elf. Generally the two races can't reproduce successfully. And most other types of fae like fairies, trolls, or anything that doesn't quite look elven or human are treated like lesser beings. Like they aren't sentient. Most are, but most also just don't fit into the social norms.
But that is the general vibe of the era.
Tumblr media
I will note that this part has mentions of abuse.
Neri lives on a ranch that (maybe ironically) produces magical creatures as livestock. But they aren't purebred at all. So like, imagine a cow but it has a magical ability to produce milk all the time. Creature like that. OR, these creatures go to slaughter to be used in mass produced spells and potions. Kinda like horses are for glue. But unicorns for their healing... glue.
Neri's story is pretty sad and terrible. Despite his rather kind personality. While he doesn't find out till much later, he was kidnapped form his parents as a young child. By his own half-brother that despised him for being half-fae. His brother being human. His brother actively fed Neri lies that his parents hated him and sent him away.
And his brother is a massive hypocrite. Despite hating magic, he uses it to erase their parents memories of Neri. And he also runs the ranch. Taking a sick sort of pleasure in raising these animals just for them to be killed off. He also collects significant parts of magical creatures like trophies. Like unicorn horns or fairy wings.
But it's not all despair all the time.
Neri meets his love while suffering at the ranch. He meets Julian. A boy his age who is also not quite human or fae. But also not really a real halfling either. Julian is from a long line of warriors that bond with the spirits and gain power from it. His family in particular are... well, unicorns. The real deal ones.
Though unicorns aren't quite the delicate creatures portrayed in other media. These unicorns are hardened warriors that were once human, but out of desperation sought out a way to survive their near extinction. The gist of it is, each child of age go through a trial that grants them the ability to turn into a unicorn. It fundamentally changes them. Making them no longer true human. And thus are counted among the classification of fae.
He's also kept as a prisoner. He and Neri bond and eventually find a way out. Though it's not easy. Neri ends up having to kill his brother in order for the suffering to really stop. And to break the spells set upon them to keep them inline. He'll free both himself, Julian, and to Neri's shock, Julian's father.
Julian's father was basically kept as a stud horse. Forced to be stuck in his unicorn form to create these lesser hybrids with normal horses. It's all incredibly fuck up.
Tumblr media
And that's basically it for now.
Eventually I will write out their story, even if it's just an entry on ao3. Til then, I will flesh out more on what will happen to them.
Though I did kind of plot out a sort of sequel story to this, where Neri is ripped form his happy life. Everyone's memories seem to be erased of Him. Including Julian and their daughter. And seemingly been replaced with a woman that looks very similar to him.
She basically used Neri's bother's remnant spells and his undying hatred to cast the spell. But I haven't really decided if I want to keep that story or just keep it to myself for my own joy.
