As a sucker for sad endings I love the new chapter😍 THE ANGST, THE DRAMA- GIVE IT TO ME😫 I mean, I know our girl won’t kick the bucket, but I will certainly enjoy everyone thinking that she will😈 Can’t wait for more of her relationship with the sisters and to see what will go down with the other members of the inner circle (kinda hope to see some compassion from Azzy💙).

I love that people still have hope for reader surviving despite almost all the odds being set against her—it’s honestly kind of heartwarming even if that’s probably just because of storyline stuff and being used to characters having plot armour 😭

Honestly with Amren I’m torn between thinking she’d be kind of insensitive, or being kind of compassionate? Or maybe caring in a slightly detached way? I haven’t really written much of her in cbmthy because I just don’t see reader being in any way comfortable around her 🫠

Oh! And I can now clarify that what Eris revealed to Lucien in that little meeting was about the Prison being unstable, which is then how Elain found out since Eris decided it was time to speed things along—I imagine the IC won’t be happy that Eris told Lucien but oh well 🤭

today we’ll be talking bouts horns and they’re significance in beauty standards playing a role in the inpherno!!!!!!!!!!

let me preface this that demons are almost always concerned with the size of their horns, if you have them too short your seen as undesirable or cowardly but it’s not too bad and inphernals don’t point it out. Though, if you say that some demon has small horns as a INSULT then it’s SUPER offensive. Like DAMN

Thieves Temple: This faction seems to prefer nature-esque/earth tones in horn colors, they represent what most inphernals in the faction believe in. (Yk the significance of nature, balance, and “peace”) Its also because you can blend into the nature or shrubbery found around the faction, it’s said that if a demon blends into the scene behind them, they are considered to be as beautiful as the scene behind them. They also seem to prefer the contrary(not ALWAYS ofc); bright, floral colors also being admired (Take Vinestaff’s horns for example). Dying, piercing, or patterning of horns is strictly frowned upon by the older generation of Theives Temple, seeing it as “abandoning one’s true identity” or “making a fool of themselves, trying to pretend to be someone else”. Of course, the newer generation is more open to this but the idea still lingers. It’s not noticeable but, obviously, if an older demon is a boss of a shop they’ll prefer a demon with jade horns than someone with bright patterned pierced horns to take over. Concerning horn SHAPE they are pretty much good with anything, but simpler styles, shapes, and low amounts of jewelry are the most common to see. But size wise it doesn’t matter much just maybe file it down if it almost touches the ceiling, duh.

My previous asks about biting is just because i have cute aggression and your works are so cute (usually, one time i wanted to test out how dramatic my mascara was so i read some of your angst, cried) but now that i really think about it? my number one competitor is Il Dottore himself

It's my personal headcanon dottore has really bad cute aggression, sure it's mainly under control now because he's been alive for fuckinf Centuries (for all childhood friends works where the reader is male would it count as old man yaoi- *gets shot*) but with his lover? absolutely out of control

Maybe they're cuddling and his lover's hand gets close to his mouth? eated, chomped

childhood friends reader who has scars on their arms because of how hard dottore has bitten them

it gets so bad that the reader has to give him a taste of his own medicine, he bit them a few minutes ago and now he has his hand by their mouth? EATED (he gets so confused and then Realizes, unbeknownst to you, you started an all out war.)

Make sure to wear turtlenecks during the chomping war because if you walk past him wearing like, a tee-shirt he'll just move the collar of the shirt (or even stretch it, bastard) just to bite your shoulder and then act like nothing happened

after about the first week, you both look like you were mauled by a small cat.

Eventually, a truce is made, so it's not as bad, but you two still bite each other like feral cats.. It's just more provoked rather than "i have to get them back IMMEDIATELY"

So there's not as many bite marks everywhere, mainly on each other's arm and hands now because, what else are you supposed to do if your lover's hand is by your mouth? kiss it? fucking casual. Bite his cheek and watch him go absolutely insane though

The second place is pantalone, he isnt bitey, but he will grab, squish, and tug at your cheeks aggressively if you say or do something cute whole cooing about the cuteness of what you just did

columbina will just, hug and squeeze you really REALLY tight if you do something cute, its hard to breathe but thats ok

the last and (funnily enough) least aggressive when it comes it cuteness, is childe, he'll hug you tightly (not as tight as columbina) and squish your cheeks, but only for a few seconds (unlike pantalone, who will literally make your face numb) he is lime a healthy mix of both of those two, he will get bitey however. - 🎈 pspsp smooches cmere i promise i wont bite you (lying)

EXPLODING 💥 Bro doesn't know how to control his biting strength too so he ends up drawing blood sometimes 😔 (But it's okay since it's Dottore) I bet people assume the scars you have are from something cool like battles but nope... you got BIT by a human, multiple times at that. 100% agreed on Bina she is. A MONSTER. when it comes to those hugs, you may faint if you don't build up some resistance to it. You can try to do it back to her but for some reason, she isn't really affected by it even if you muster up all your strength, but she still adores the notion! And Childe... RAHHH THESE ARE SO GOOD!! It's funny for him to be the least aggressive but his co-workers are something else I guess 😭 We love a king who's so affectionate but also won't kill you with it 🤭 I imagine if you return it he would be so flattered...especially if you're strong enough to actually keep him from leaving your hug. Right, you sent this in early August so I’m really sorry I’ve taken so long to reply!! (I have a few other in my inbox that I just wasn’t in the right headspace to reply to, so I’m sorry for that too!)

What I love about having people like yourself write in is I feel I get introduced to new parts of the story even as the person who wrote it? I don’t think I consciously intended for some of the themes in cbmthy to be trauma-related (that being said, I really don’t know what trauma includes—I have my own experiences and experiences from friends and books but I have no idea how to label them or sort through them) but I do think that because nothing has been explicitly stated in cbmthy that it leaves room for different readers to align themselves or potentially see themselves in different parts of the story? And I do like that, in a way? That I have my own reasons for writing cbmthy the way that it is and I include certain elements (parts of dialogue, familiar situations, similar emotions, etc.) in the story that I will understand the intention behind and yet it won’t stop anyone else from reading it with their own lens and finding their own details in Reader’s life?

I suppose I like that we can read the same stories (this is speaking generally) and yet people can take away different things, and (hopefully) find comfort in a way that will suit them 🧡💛
