okay so the first thought i had was oh i see this blog every time i search 'cuttletavio' maybe i should look at it and then my second thought was like this blog seems cool i'll give this silly a follow and uh well that was two years ago and the memories get kinda fuzzy after a lil while on account of we have had so many small interactions but i do remember april 7 2023 i was thinking a lot about how much i wanted to be queerplatonic partners with you and i had been thinking that for a while so in the morning of april 8 2023 i tried to ask you and got scared and didnt but then a few hours later i was playing just shapes and beats with my dad and sibling and in between rounds i decided to pussy up and do it so i sent the ask and then didnt look at my phone for like an hour out of anxiety but when i did the answer was yes and i was so happys and i remember that because it was so important and then its blurry again and then theres some stuff i probably could remember if i tried really hard but i have a cold and i dont wana make my head hurt more so ill just go to what i was thinking about you when i was in the bathroom just now because that was recent so i was brushing my teeth and then i was gonna wash my face and i thought about how i was gonna pack that stuff 4 the overnight trip so i can be all clean when i see you and then i kept thinking abt u in general and i was very very happy and got butterflies and i cant wait . sorry i cant think of more details rn ð

I think Poison Ivy: A Cycle Of Life And Death is definitely one of the better Ivy comics out there, I really love it when she's able to actually put her smarts to use and well, making your own plant babies is certainly that skdjsksk

And I appreciate that it's not one that ends up focusing on a dude (or Batman) and kinda side lining her for the sake of propping up a man / making her obsessed with a man and that's the story, ya know?
I think also Ivy's struggle with her kids and trying to protect them is understandable and I enjoy that Amy Chu allowed that to be a flaw throughout, it's not Ivy's strong suit and that's okay. She's been hurt a lot and being so fearful and protective over them, refusing to let them leave, is what she really thought they needed. I think also there's just the fact that while Ivy absolutely understands her daughters in terms of their connections with the green and whatnot, she was a human at some point. She grew up at a normal pace, she ages at a human rate. She matured at the rate most humans do, over a Long period of years. She has had time during her adult life after she got her powers to practice and get really good at controlling them.
So I get why it's hard for her to feel like the girls have had enough life experience and practice because really, for her, they Are 25 weeks old. They might age differently and stuff, but these are her babies and she only delivered them 25 weeks ago.
Really my only dislike about the writing in it is Harley tbh. I really don't like the way she's characterized in the first chapter. I do love a good Dr. Quinzel moment, but the second they're at the bar it just goes down hill with their conversation. Only part about that that I liked is obvi will always root for them beating tf outta creeps who won't stop harassing women. But she leaves at the end of that chapter and only has a phone appearance briefly at the end, so it's thankfully not So egregious that I just can't with the rest of the comic lol

Adelaide Sakamaki is the previous queen consort of the Vampire Clan, as she was the wife of Johan Sakamaki. She is also the mother of Karlheinz and Richter Sakamaki.
Appearance
Adelaide is a beautiful woman with very pale skin, wavy dark green hair, and lovely gold eyes with long dark lashes. She also had a tall, statuesque figure that was coveted by many women in the land.
For clothing, Adelaide only wore the most lovely and extravagant dresses and jewelry. Adelaide also only wore clothing colored in jewel tones and dark colors.
Personality
Not much is known about Adelaide's personality. However, her sons have stated that while she seems cold on the surface due to her having to be the Vampire Queen, she was in actuality the kindest and the warmest person they knew.
History
Adelaide is the daughter of a high ranking vampiric nobleman in Eden. As she was his only child, and a part of a family that was a high enough rank, Adelaide and Johan, the young Vampire King, were arranged to be married when she was only nineteen years old.
Fearing that he'd be a cruel man, Adelaide attempted to run away the day before her wedding, but she is stopped by a charming young man, a 22 year old Johan Sakamaki. After they got to know each other, the two preceded to get married and the rest was history.
Between her and her husband, Adelaide was the most involved with her two sons, more specifically Richter since Karlheinz was made to study and prepare himself as Johan's heir. When she and her husband passed, Adelaide was the only one her sons mourned. Like with her husband, Adelaide's portrait was hanged in the "family room".
