20:13 - the two of you sat in silence, you on one side of the couch, dozing as you flicked through a magazine, your boyfriend was on the other side of the couch, a pencil in his hand, lightly scratching across a large canvas.

he groaned, “i don’t know what to draw.”

you hummed, as if taken from a daze, looking up at him before giggling. he’d rested his head on the back of the sofa, his lips pouty (as they always were) and his eyes big.

“you’ll figure it out, hyunjin, baby. you always do.”

he hummed, seemingly overtaken by an idea as the pencil started moving once again.

“hyunjin,” you groaned, seeing his flitting glances up to your face and back down to the canvas, “are you drawing me again?”

“my muse,” he smiled, your complaints falling upon deaf ears.

“you need to start drawing something else or the critics will become furious,” you joked, going back to your magazine.

hyunjin was distracted as he made a noise of agreement, “yeah, yeah. you just stay right there.”

you sighed, soon running out of magazine to read as you instead decided to watch your boyfriend; his concentrated face as he worked on your portrait. he must’ve memorised every mark of your face by now, he’s painted it enough times.

“a rough sketch,” he finally said, turning the canvas so that you could see. “needs detailing, painting, shading, obviously. but i won’t finish all that tonight.”

a smile grew on your face. he really did seem to capture you in a way in which you knew he loved you. it was a lazy evening, lounging around with your boyfriend after a day of not very much - and somehow, you looked like a goddess draped over a chasé lounge.

“you like it?” he asked, chewing on his lip nervously.

“i look like a princess, hyunnie. it’s gorgeous,” you spoke, hyunjin placing the canvas on the floor and opening his arm up for you to snuggle up beside him.

“you are a princess,” he pressed, stroking your hair out of your face.

“yeah i know, your princess,” you scoffed sarcastically.

“no!” he exclaimed, peering down at you, “well yes. but versace’s princess as well, don’t you know?”

you rolled your eyes, laughing at the idea, “i don’t think it works like that, hyunnie.”

“well, i’m the prince, and i say it does so, sorry, you’re the versace princess now,” he shrugged, kissing your temple and holding your body even tighter against his, “donatella’s your mother-in-law now, i don’t make the rules.”

Maker of the term, for the “alter who has BPD” comment is literally referring to the alters source. That’s quite literally what it’s about.

Second I may have worded things wrong and I apologize but like please tell me that and not just make a post about it complaining. I make things wrong and I skip over when coping and pasting my descriptions from the past. ArissoBPD does not fallow, expect, or promote the fetisization and the stereotypes of the condition.

I’m sorry if the defintion is confusing, genuinely. But your taking things and assuming things. I made terms like these for people with the intent that people do the due diligence of understanding the terms. I can’t control how people use them sadly. If someone uses them in this negative cogitation, yes, that’s bad.

I’m more than welcomed to continue this conversation over DMs. But please note that I don’t plan to continue this as a thred for my own mental health.

Maybe it's just me but I really, really hate the arissocogni terms. I understand atypical dysphoria exists. We have it too. But for the love of g-d it is wayyy too close to transid. I liked the arrisomei terms in the beginning. I understood that they were labels to describe a disconnect. But with serious mental health issues???

First of all, an alter cannot have a mental disorder the body does not have. Just, right off the bat. An alter cannot have a mental disorder the body does not have because it effects the brain. And before someone says something like "oh but [disorder] symptom holders-", [disorder] symptom holders literally just mean an alter who shows/experiences more severe symptoms than other alters. (I think eating disorders might be like the sole exception)

Second, it just applies an unhealthy, negative stereotype. BPD is extremely stigmatized, and just slapping an 'arisso' term in front of it is just plain wrong. It also doesn't describe the pain that people with BPD go through every single day, and I know that the term literally means you know you don't have BPD but really? Seriously? And also, adding on to the BPD is extremely stigmatized part, what does this term mean? Are you saying they've continuously and throughly research BPD and although they know they don't have it they think they do? Are you saying that the person only has the stereotypical BPD--the outlandish, silly obsessive kind?

Third, you say that it's a "subterm connected to thinking one has BPD and makes the person feel disconnected from their external mental health issues/mental illnesses." I don't understand this. From what I can tell, it seems like someone would think they have BPD instead of other mental issues??? Which is just another thing but I just plain don't understand

tldr: this is just wrong. Plain wrong.

I will admit I am not the best at wording things. But I’ll just say in short I put it the way i did to sorta explain a general experience. Of course some objects/concepts may see themselves as diffrent things witch is a thing one may understand.

The word presived is used for situations where one or more individuals may see the object in different fashions. For example, the moon. Someone may see them as a sapphic while someone else may see them as abro.

It is meant to acknowledge more than one person may perceive their partners differently. Like one may see a object seeing a “human” identify under them or just not correct for them, while another may see the identity as positive.

The word precived is not used to undermind the objects identity. I apologize if that is how it came across.

Do any other objects get a really squicked-out feeling from objectwrap terms?

Like, we’re not trying to attack the creator. We know you have good intentions. We just want to explain why we find the terms so bothersome.

Notice how all of the focus is on the beholder and what they perceive?

Our beholder perceives Brian as polyamorous. It perceives Baby Pink as otherkin. It perceives both of them as GNC. But it perceives them that way because that’s what they are. And the beholder wants to be respectful and perceive them as they are. What’s more, they would still be those identities if our beholder didn’t perceive them that way. If our beholder didn’t respect our identity. Our identities are ours regardless of outside perception.

Imagine if there was an equivalent term for humans. If there was no word for gay, there was only a word for people perceived as gay by outsiders. Because those things aren’t the same. Pretending like they are is an insult to self-determination.

I played the tale, travel at night, which depicts when Asra and Muriel first meet as kids. Their kid character sprits are sooo cute! I couldn’t help myself from making a compilation of them both. Kid Asra is so stinking cute I can’t not make edits of him okayyy 😭

Loved how this little menace spooked the count and then ran away giggling like a gremlin haha. Also, the change in music when kid Asra appeared, really added to show just how much Muriel care about him. His entire mood lifts at the mere sight of Asra. Before that the music was tense and anxious. Does that mean the main music that plays is Asra’s theme music? It plays quiet often when he’s on screen so im just guessing??
