it sucks that so many places are anti endo... i never really realize it because i stay in my comfortable pro-endo bubble most of the time but i decided to join some discord servers for non-plural reasons today and one was so nice! but then i paid more attention and one of the members had pro endos on their dni, and they talked about being plural, and one of the mods mentioned they had osdd, and i was like oh cool well now i have to ask just in case and they were anti endo :( which is weird because i basically indirectly stated in my verif proof stuff i was pro endo and my pk intro had the endogenic flag in it labeled "endogenic" and they didn't say anything and when i mentioned it they said "why do all the good ones have to be endos" :( !! plus i was in an emoji server that was supposed to be anti syscourse and i think today the owner linked a post from their tumblr in announcements that stated they don't believe endos are real and that they harm the plural community and that if anyone was uncomfortable with that they should leave their server... i swear, every emoji server is like this too, they'll say they don't want syscourse in their server or they'll say theyre neutral and then they say things like that and its like... that's hurtful to hear, you know? and sure maybe they're saying it because they fear the backlash but even then it sucks that no one will ever stand up for your rights to... literally just exist. :(( especially with the yaelokre situation not too long ago...

Energy was a fascinating subject. In the sense that, given current theories: energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only transferred and transformed. “The law of conservation of energy.”

It was to say that, by extension, it was intriguing to see how it moved about the known universe in what sentient minds quantified as “life and death.” There were stretches of the stars where the dead were interpreted as being disconnected from the living in death. Meanwhile, in other corners of the cosmos - including this one - the dead were able to be discerned, even coexisting with the living as a societal norm, despite death.

These were such thoughts that interlaced themselves with the information imparted. The dead needed guidance… “Sendings” to prevent them from manifesting into monsters… but there were factors which remained, falling out of the established "rule set" here, as there often were. One such factor being the "Unsent." Her eyes seemed to only light up with further intrigue the moment vibrant scintillae sprung forth from his person, hovering and drifting about.

They reminded her of… fireflies. Wait. What was it he said? A “wayward pyrefly?” Were these wayward pyreflies? Or any sort of pyrefly? Were there non-wayward pyreflies? Questions for later...

Once again, the term revisited her mind. Their name rung with a distinct sort of “punny” sound that added to their charm; if these were indeed wayward pyreflies… she realized just how reminiscent they truly were to some of their more corporeal "cousins" who, though not as mystifying of an existence, technically speaking, felt to be just as mystifying of a sight anytime they made their debut even so.

She had only just then placed the first piece of citrus in her mouth; its sweetness with tart undertones proved sensational - a splendid treat of the physically edible variety to pair with the psychological one that was this new knowledge being acquired. It was enough to chip - or perhaps peel away at a smile often donned, though still sincere, to reveal something a little more so. More enchanted, more tangible.

The moment was shortly lived, however. What was turning out to be a fairly fanciful and indeed fruitful little game was put on pause as another entity set foot inside the room. Yet another gentleman bearing rather striking features that one may consider “less human” from a human perspective.

Ah, and there it was again. The bow… The bow she now realized she had bore witness to at least a few times now. A few times within the span of… well, not long… as such, she hadn’t realized the etiquette of its execution, much less learned it. Not yet. Oh dear…

Her “tourism” was no secret, at this juncture, so she would take to the lesser offense among possible offenses and bow as she normally would: a subtle, yet honorable bow of the head. She stood up in a similar respect to do so.

“It is a pleasure to meet you both.” She responded, the warmth in her expression tempered once again, yet still proving evident as it ever was.

“You may call me Sal.”

“Seymour Guado,” “Tromell,” “Guadosalam…” Internally, she echoed the names back to herself when given a moment to do so. More mental notes, stashed away alongside the “Farplane,” “Unsent” and “wayward pyreflies” ones… As always, she would do her best to hold onto as many as she could before she was able to take actual notes!

The Guado? A wayward pyrefly? If he thought her peculiar now, he was going to think her even more so the moment she dared to ask what such things were, surely! That was if she dared, however...

Normally, she would simply listen for answers of this nature, see if they revealed themselves without inquiry amidst conversation, but there was really no "fitting in" with this already bewildering scenario. Who knew what was yet to come as they did all but exist in this state of mutual perplexity... in a way, it was refreshing! Their talk may be somewhat limited for the usual security reasons, but... oh, he had said it himself. A curious little game was afoot here. And she so did like curious little games...!

"Yes and no." Her answer felt like that of a riddle. "It depends on where you look."

Briefly, she debated how much further to elaborate. Gauging the pros and cons, she stared holes into the citrus of saffron shade she held before her, now halfway peeled...

"There are many names for my kind. Given that we share this language we speak, I will give you one derived from it that seems to have traveled further than others..."

Momentarily, she hesitated before the name "Ethereal" eventually left her lips - perhaps at a volume slightly lower than the rest. Sal looked to be having a most dramatic conversation with her orange yet again.

"We are spectral entities, strewn all about the cosmos as we know it - and as we don't. It is theorized that we come from the stars, somehow, somewhere..."

There, an age-old question among the world(s) she knew revealed itself another day, still without answer. It was left to hang with an air of mystery as she excavated a particularly succulent-looking wedge from this fruit of hers, which had since been further dismantled. She eyed it with some interest before her gaze returned to the gentleman.

"... Or something like that, anyway." Her smile, though subtle, was nearly steadfast, hardly wavering as her first turn of this little game was drawn to a close.

"How about you?" The conversational spotlight was then redirected to him. His turn. "Does your kind have a name? If I may ask, that is."
