Polite form: Verb stem +았/었/였+어요

Very polite: Verb stem +았/었/였+습니다

Casual: Verb stem +았/었/였+어

Verb stem : verb - 다

★필요하다: To need 필요하

★내리다 : To get off 내리

★(잠을) 자다 : To sleep 잠을 자

★결혼하다: To get married 렬혼하

~So how can we turn the past tense to formal?

Verb stem +았/었/였+습니다 Instead of 어요, (Verb stem +았/었/였+어요) we replace it with 습니다

어제 나는 한국어 이야기책을 3번 연습했다. 잘 했는 것 같다. 오늘도 한국어 이야기책이랑 조금 연습했다. 더 잘 곧 하고 싶다 :) 어쨌든 어떻게 옷을 입을까 모른다… 날씨가 계속 바꾸고 있어서 매우 피곤하다. 아마 나도 계속 바꾸다 ㅋㅋ 근데 괜찮아! 가끔 바꾸기 좋다.

아 내가 감기에 걸렸네?

It's been a few days since I started having this need of cleaning everything in my home. Not that I never liked doing chores but I'd have never been really calling it a need. Right now, I'm literally planning how to move and what to do everyday for the next. And it feels so so satisfying... Idk, I may be wrong but it feels like I'm getting ready for something. Or maybe, I'm just closing with the past, finally letting go and releasing (see last night's dream!). Yeah I think I'm starting to see things, especially relationships, for what they are and giving them a new meaning and a new way of being. Probably because I am doing the same for myself. It's like I am not settling for certain situations anymore. I accept them and try to see them through the eyes of the other, but I also look for something better. I'm listening to myself and my true needs so much more, respecting my worth too. Well, whatever it is, let's hope for an amazing new cycle!
