Here are things I did or used to get better at Korean:

Learn Hangul

It´s so easy and you can learn it very quickly in a few days.

2. Do not use Duolingo

This was my mistake for a long time. Duolingo wont make you proficient in Korean. They also dont explain it very well. Just dont waste your time with it and ditch Duo.

3. Use the correct textbooks and websites

Talk To Me In Korean is a goldmine. Seriously. Use them. There are also PDF version if you dont want to learn with a physical book. They go through all the basics with you in a very nicely explained way. You can also use their website for further grammar lessons or listening practices. Can recommend! Also, if you´re stuck with a specific grammar, just google "xyz grammar in Korean+ meaning/grammar". E.g.: -는 거야 grammar. There are many websites explaining it simply and quickly.

Plus: Watch YouTube Videos of real life conversations. Often these are also shorts, so you do not have to watch a 10 minute video. Replay those shorts a lot until you understand what the Korean speaking person is saying.

we will learn about hangul (korean writing systhem)

so if you already know it just skip to day

for the lesson u need pen and paper (ofc u can add colours if u want)

so today we start with basic easy sounds

so if u want to write just vowel u have to put ㅇ before(first three) or above it(last two)

so 이 아 어 우 오

now if u wanna for example write 'na' u just find 'a' sound (아) and instead of ㅇ u put ㄴ (n)

so ㄴ + ㅏ = 나 and some more enamples

ㅁ + ㅣ = 미 mi

ㄹ + ㅏ = 라 ra

ㅎ + ㅓ = 허 heo

ㄹ + ㅜ = 루 lu

ㅁ + ㅓ = 머 meo

ㅅ + ㅏ = 사 sa

ㄴ + ㅗ = 노 no (just no , not like in english word)

ㅎ + ㅜ = 후 hu \ hoo

ㅅ + ㅣ = 시 'she' not 'si'

The shortened for can be use among close friends and acquaintances. In casual speaking, -다면서 or -다며 is used. - It can be translated as “Is it true that…?” or “I heard that..., right?” E.g. 미영 씨가 다음 주에 결혼한다면서요? (I heard that Miyoung is getting married next week, right?) ✏️ 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 (1) In past tense, both adjective and verb are used in the form A/V +았/었다면서(요)? E.g. 남자 친구랑 헤어졌다면서요? (I heard that you broke up with your boyfriend, right?) 공연이 아주 즐거웠다면서요? (I heard that the concert was very enjoyable, right?) (2) In future tense, both adjective and verb are used in the form A/V + (으)ㄹ 거라면서(요)?, or A/V + 겠다면서(요)? E.g. 휴가 때 해외여행을 할 거라면서요? (I heard that you're going to travel abroad during your vacation, right?) 이번 겨울은 지난해 겨울보다 기온 변동성이 클 거라면서요?
