Note that my own selection follows these two requirements:

Did Marmont live with Junot at a certain period of time? If so, when and why? Sounds like Junot had multiple of men living with him at different time periods during the Republic.

Yes Marmont and Junot lived together during the time period of 1795-96 (?). They were roommates in Paris and where planing on freeing Boney from prison lol. I think they lived together becouse of manging costs and becouse they have known each other since theyer school years (went to the same academy)

Some points to note before you move to the event visualizer : 

🟣 My anchoring style is highly energetic and bubbly so you can imagine me doing a lot of hand gestures, changing pitch and tones of my voice, moving around on the stage a lot, etc. Hehe.  

🟣 The theatre/event venue has been engineered by the best engineers of the world, with the most modern technology. The petals of the lotus can close or open to hide or reveal the night sky. It can also change its colours. For tonight, it's indigo!  

🟣 The "OUTFIT CHECK" were clicked in different places (according to where the member was spotted first) hence the different background. 

🟣 I didn't want to write too dialogues on yall's behalf but I can't really bother you with every small detail, so I hope whatever dialogues I've made up are not too out of character! 

🟣Ignore the contradiction of same blue locker entering the scene multiple times, pretend there are a few copies of each member 🥰👍🏻

🟣 Ignore the outfit mismatch in the edits (any edit after the outfit checks please, our editing skills only go so far 🙏🏻 ) 

🟣 I highly suggest that you listen to songs as you keep finding them being embedded in links for added feels and extra hype! 🔥

🟣 The performances where multiple songs have been used is supposed to be a mashup. You can imagine the mashup to be as you please! The songs I've bunched together are for the sole purpose of creating a particular vibe, so as long as to they are fulfilled it's all good! 😌🤝🏻

And not just Riri and Kira, our honoured warriors, but everyone who's sitting here has achieved one or the other thing and I'm sure we all went through that phase where we were just....broken and tired. 

Nami : Exhausted. 

Nami : Where we just needed that one person to believe in us. And since our journey has only begun I'm sure we are going to be faced with those feelings again. But you know what's different this time? The difference is that we have a community who's got our back. A community which is nothing short of a family itself. And this one last performance shall stay with you all as a remainder for that.

I can't express in words just how grateful I am for all help in editing she gave me, without her skills, bringing my ideas to life was impossible. Mafurui or Mafuemu?

Yes to both, MafuRui will be in the reblogs of this specific post, anon!

Just a heads up: I am bias to MafuEmu, so this ship may be spoiled a little with 2 separate ideas. Version 2 is below cut because GOD I WROTE A LOT.

Version 1

Child(ren):

MafuEmu would have exactly 3 children, 2 of whom would be adopted from families who had the child taken from them by CPS. With Emu's familial fortunes, their biggest obstacle would 100% be Mafuyu and Emu's mental states. But they'd prove themselves in the end.

Their biological child would look like this, you can fucking fist fight me (if you know the game the design comes from, please remind me of it's name 😭)

Their bio child would be the oldest, and probably also the most unmoved by the sheer chaos of the adoptive aunts and uncles. "Oh, Uncle Rui made a new machine and Uncle Tsukasa tested it? Did he blow up again or was it not a trap?" Her name would be Yuuki (ゆうき), both as a verbal reference to Mafuyu's Nightcord name (Yuki) and due to the meaning of that specific kanji meaning "gentle hope". Emu would have suggested it with the approval of Mafuyu.

The first adopted child would probably be very much like Emu. To where Emu is instantly aware if she's masking with a smile and probably panic about how to get her out of the habit. Energetic and bubbly, they would ask if she wants to change her name, and with a yes, they'd change it to Awayuki (泡雪), meaning Bubble Snow in this specific instance. She's be tall, like Mafuyu, outgrowing all her family.

Their only son would be named Hiroki (広喜), essentially translating to large joy with that kanji pair. He would be a lot like Mafuyu, mostly with a hard struggle to express emotions properly. But he would still be verbally able to express joy and everything beautifully. Probably the shortest, just barely a few centimeters shorter than Emu. Absolutely the type of person to look you dead in the eye as he describes the details of the meal you made him while forgetting to blink.

Headcanons:

Emu, during the first few months of being a mother to Awayuki, would have breakdowns because she would see herself in the child a lot. Mafuyu would take approach in steps. "Can I hold you? Yes? Okay. *holds* Can I kiss your forehead? Not now? Alright. Can I sing to you?" and so on.

The first time they all had a meal out, someone tried to comment on Yuuki and Awayuki. Mafuyu startled everyone around them by 100% speaking the exact same words at the exact same time as Hiroki as they told off the onlookers. Emu nearly had a panic attack because of how unsettling it was. As well as had to explain the whole thing to the two of them.

Mafuyu has a list of rules for Rui, Taukasa and Mizuki to follow in their house and while taking care of their kids. Most of them are aimed at Rui not exploding things or even joking about it. One is Mizuki can't take them to SEKAI. The last one is only for Tsukasa: "If we get a complaint from the neighbors about noise, you're never coming over again. So keep it down."

Emu hasn't taken the kids to the Wonderland SEKAI, but she has introduced her whole family to the VS of it. Often times, they'll have Kaito and Meiko babysit with Nene, having exported "The World Hasn't Started Yet" onto every electronic in the house (along with a bunch of other songs that are very similar in name and music, and a COVER of the song SEKAI is) so the Virtual Singers can be hop from room to room fast.

When Emu and Mafuyu need a desperate break, they call Honami and Kanade over to babysit and pop over to Empty SEKAI to rest for a while. This is why Mafuyu doesn't take them to the SEKAI.

Version 2

Child(ren):

The two don't have kids, but Emu's job at PXL has evolved into teaching children and a teaching career she adores. Mafuyu focuses of music mostly. The two have one retired service cat and one active service cat, a retired service rabbit and a service ferret.

Emu also actively performs for charities and many other events, all of which end up bending to her rule of "let service cats in or no Otori Emu", on the off hand chance Mafuyu wants to go see the show.

Headcanons:

Mafuyu tends to stay in the house.

People were surprised to hear Emu needed service animals, let alone that she had a rabbit as one at one point and has her active one be a ferret.

Mafuyu and Emu unwind by physical touch and quality time. Mafuyu will braid and clean and mess with Emu's hair, while Emu will then draw with her finger on Mafuyu's hand as they cuddle.

Emu convinces Nene, Mizuki and An all to get her information on how to propose to Mafuyu. What sort of ring Mafuyu would want, where would be best, what sort of gesture... Meanwhile, Mafuyu just gets a ring and asks Ena to get Emu's schedule. Emu only barely manages to beat Mafuyu to the question and the two of them end laughing and enjoying the night.

Mafuyu has and would again thrown a slipper at Rui because he "broke in". (He did not break in, Emu lent him a key because she was going out of town for a day or two with her family and wanted Mafuyu to be checked in on for meal eating.) (Mafuyu did not believe him until Emu told them Rui wasn't lying about the key.)

1. so yesterday i was on page 139 of gideon the ninth and today i finished it. i did nothing until i finished it. i physically could not stop. i mean i should have known it from the moment it had the most epic characters page of all the houses and each house had cool as balls names like Hope Of The Emperor and Wisdom Of The Emperor and Rose Unblossomed or however that one goes but holy mother of god…………. they did not lie this book went hard as fuck. i was reminded of something and i’m going to reblog it shortly so you can read it but i saw a tumblr post that was talking about dungeon meshi’s character designs versus genshin impact’s and another where an author was like ok but where’s the gross part?? where’s the pathetic in the characters??? and gideon the ninth does this so well. god, gideon and harrow are trying to beat each other into the ground for the better part of the book but then you get this insane 180 flip and they’re in a POOL and mein gotte when harrow said i am undone without you my eyes cried Just A Little. i forget, i think, sometimes, that people are most beautiful when they are wretched and clumsy and honest. i think this particularly because i’ve been on a hetero chinese language dramas and movies binge lately and i turned off the part of my brain that revels in messy honest art and let the part that wants to stare at bailu for 30 hours stare at bailu for 30 hours. but maybe it is time to stop watching things only to look at beautiful women (who are, admittedly, very fucking beautiful). maybe it is time to GO TO THE FUCKASS FARAWAY LIBRARY TOMORROW TO BORROW HARROW THE NINTH. what da hell. the world building in this novel is motherfucking exquisite. you have to work so goddamn hard to make a line like Emperor the Necromancer Divine God Salvation The Resurrection with a bunch of little semicolons in between work but it works, it works because it’s cool, it’s cool because it’s grimey and gross and funny, i would do astounding things for all of these people (except silas, who can get fucked). and gideon is such a spectacular narrator, to be introduced to this world through her eyes is an honor and a gift, and harrow….. HARROWWWWWWW AOUUUUUUUU YAUUUUUUUUUUUU i’m obsessed. it’s over. i am officially down horrendous

2. now i’m gonna talk to you guys about amidst a snowstorm of love 在暴雪时分. my mom keeps being like so are you done with the helsinki drama yet and i have to keep being like no because There Is No Drama but anyway ok i started it because wulei…….. and now i am Bereft and Despaired fr that they put wulei in this when man has so much more to him. listen up my guys. i have never seen or read or heard or played a story that has so little….. story. it is remarkably, devastatingly substanceless. it is like watching a 3 hour chill lofi playlist. every once in a while the dog in the animated background runs around the armchair. the fire crackles through the same 5 frames. otherwise— nothing. i’m honestly amazed that they managed to do this, this, this is Not what slice of life is. this is also not what straight romance is??? i am a longtime purveyor of the hetero romance arts and this is hetero romance sans all of the misunderstandings and miscommunications that generate teary breakdowns and mismanaged fights. there is literally no conflict which can be fine except there isn’t even, like, admiration for the small things in life or familial love or friendship which Does Not A Story Make. now i don’t say this lightly as i am a strong believer that if the plot only advances because the cast is too fucking stupid to talk to each other then it’s a shit plot but for the first time in my life i wish there Would be a petty misunderstanding so we could at least see a fraction of the characters’ personalities. now see the Premise is that the protagonist goes to finland to participate in a 9-ball competition and pulls the brooding grad student she meets there back into the world of billiards or whatever but the 9-ball is just a vehicle in the purest sense for the romance. she will be like i practice now and then go practice and then wulei shows up with coffee and that’s it, the 9-ball table was there so wulei could lean on it and look hot in 4 shots. i’m genuinely astounded. nothing fucking HAPPENS in this drama. literally i will sit through an entire episode and it’s just like, zhao lusi wants coffee…., there is coffee…., romantic moments (6-7) insert song (2-3) close up slow mo gazing (399999). seriously i would commit unspeakable crimes for wulei but even i cannot watch this drama straight without falling asleep. it is the emptiest thing i have ever seen and it is so spectacularly committed to this absolutely void of writing. also wulei’s character is dirt poor but he spends all his money on taking zhao jinmai to expensive ass fuck restaurants and then gets sick from overwork and no one TALKS about it. it’s not even a decent straight romance because there is no communication or anything remotely interesting happening in the relationship. it’s not a drama, mein gott, it’s a medley of cute heartwarming moments between two very beautiful and very talented actors who have been kidnapped and locked in a snowy nightmare where all they can do is smile at each other shyly and sometimes hold hands. crazy…………….. wasted potential for my babygirls………. (bereft)

3. watched episode 2 of oh no here comes trouble不良执念清除师 i cannot get over the fact that pu yiyong draws digital art. it’s just so lovely a detail. the first time they showed his drawing tablet and the tablet pen i was like WOAA…. HES JUST LIKE ME FR i mean he’s just like me fr he has a goofy little mullet and he talks back like it’s his 9-5 it’s brilliant. this is excellent representation for brooding angsty teens who also like to draw with clip studio paint. Possibly watching this at 2 am was a mistake as i am prone to nightmares about godless things but it’s such a fun drama and it handles tonal shifts with a clarity that i rarely see in tv….. also pu yiyong’s actor is just great. i mean god, he has eyebrows and they’re mad at you. good for him. slay

4. we’re on episode, i dunno, 23 of the double墨雨云间 now i think and it’s great but it’s true, especially after binging 80% of gideon the ninth in one day that much like how genshin impact’s character designs are designed to be attractive to as many people as possible, the double’s characters are meant to be perfect and attentive to the maximum number of people. the catharsis of seeing the protagonist triumph over the evil conspiring antagonist is only cathartic so many times, and i think im running up against the ceiling of that catharsis. we know fangfei’s brilliant and we know xiaoheng won’t let anything happen to her so it just becomes 5d chess between the morally black and white chess players, it becomes watching schemes unfold and collapse like origami boats, over and over again. they don’t sink because there isn’t any water. they’re beautiful but they can’t bear weight. and after spending too much time in these homes, in the chinese dramas hole or the kpop gorilla groups hole or the mainstream shounen hole i have to punch myself in the dick and be like ok now you are re entering the world as a person amongst other people, because it gives you tunnel vision! they’re all conventionally attractive queens with snatched waists and perfectly managed profiles, variety show personalities but you see i remembered that I Want Harrowhark Nonagesimus. i want the grit and the dirt and the morning sunlight all at once. what i mean is i will be borrowing harrow the ninth from the public library tomorrow if it means i have to take a train 2 hours out to fuckass nowhere to get it. what i mean is i am going back into the game and i am going 2 Win

geographically, the area around central asia kind of matches up with what is reflected in 3h. europe, middle east and central asia are all represented in some form in 3h, all of which actually had presence in that area in history. (china itself is not bc theres a lot of strict guidelines on how china must be depicted in video games to get past censors)

tencent at the time was launching a nintendo switch specifically meant for the china market... so maybe that had something to do with it

dragons take a backseat in this game for the most part. dragons are pretty important in chinese culture and its said her people are descended from the dragons. again, censorship worries might have affected this writing decision

Amatakka - How to Write in the Tattooine Slave Language

For anyone not running in these particular fanon circles, Amatakka is the fake language of the star wars slave people, Amavikka, like Anakins family at birth. It was originally made by @fialleril, adapted by a whole lot of fan authors like @blue-sunshine-mauve-morning, and grew a life of its own from there.

It has a community dictionary with several hundred words, (https://at.tumblr.com/booklindworm/amatakka-dictionary/0dvnmuhlusq3) and a very basic phoneme dictionary (https://conworkshop.com/view_language.php?l=AMAT ), but absolutely no script, other than the vague idea that it'd be written in the Tusken script... which also does not exist. This is my attempt.

(The conlang fundamentally can't be separated from the slave experience, if anyone is disquieted and wants to step off. The way canonical star wars treats slavery is... weird at best; this is supposed to be a language of empowerment. I'll link some folktales at the end!)

In spite of being a communal conlang for an oral language, and my linguistics training being... sporadic, and mostly based on what helped me pick up my current four languages, and two pick-and-drop-and-pick-again languages.

I'd start with something like the inuktitut script (https://youtu.be/xW4hI_METac ). Amatakka is very polysynethic, and the idea of basing my script cataloguing an extant language off of another script cataloguing an extent language tickles me. But a lot of sounds have a specific cultural meaning that is used almost every single time that sound is used in the entire conlang. (Which is desperately impressive, considering it was primarily created by one author, extended by another, and then absorbed into damn near every fan work concerning Tattooine, but I digress.)

For that, i'd use something like Japanese's mixture of three writing systems: kanji, complex and symbolic pictograms; katakana, phonetic representations of loan words; hiragana, phonetic representations of original Japanese words.

In my Amatakka script, I'd put certain heavily symbolic sounds, like ur (wrong) ama (mother, heavily connected with their main goddess) and ani (rain/freedom) into 'kanji', which allows them to be represented as a concept even if the pronunciation changes a little (ani as raindrop and an- as rain, anumakkar as rainstorm, all symbolic of freedom)

Then, I'd put the remaining sounds in an inuktitut based system of syllables, based on the conlang dictionary of phonemes and an analysis of the Google sheet collection of amatakka words.

A system like this seems to fit the language we have well, which would make sense as - both in Canon and in fandom - the words came first, then the writing down of them. Multiple 'kanji' with one component being the same could represent different words, like how levrukka and er-amma are both names for ar-amu, and 雨、雪、電 (rain, snow, electricity) all contain the same radical. (There are probably better examples from folk more fluent in Japanese than me).

Example of this in practise, Depurekta, a slave who enslaves others. This is made of dep, chain, plus ur being something like twisted / wrong-but-less-morally-judgemental, which together is the word for slave owner, plus ekta, healer, one who heals the chains that bind.

Lets look at just that ur in the middle. It appears in japur, a scraggly and twisted native tree where ja- is being native to tattoine; also in kotovur, skin hunger, where ko- is mere skin contact; kusur, sarlacc, where kus- is nourishment; murek, a purple that also symbolises wealth and otherness, where me- is you, yourself; nuro, judge, where no- is son <twisted son who cooperates with slavers judgements>; tovur, starvation, where though we don't have a translation for to- specifically we have torazu and toris, both forms of edible seed; urs-gillig, a tusken relic cave, where I imagine gillig is a regular cave.

This said, when placed inside larger words, ur loses its symbolic meaning, eg shursu, root or foundation, where shulku is suitability; suru, puddle, where sudu is spinning/whirling air movement; kurra, strengthening food where ku- itself is nourishment; kurio, with the same root, appears more in line with ur as a symbolic sound.

(The third person pronoun tur has interesting connotations in this model, but I digress.)

So! Depurekta would probably be fully kanji, with ur being one radical in the kanji for depur, since that's such a key word for the amavikka people.

Kotovur, skin hunger, would have that ur kanji after an inuktitut style descriptive of its first two syllables, with ko- possibly getting its own kanji, as it is also used in words relating to skin contact with less desperate connotations.

Murek, purple associated with otherness, would probably be entirely inuktitut with the kanji in the middle.

Perhaps the system would, in the interest of becoming compact, turn into a hybrid model, with the symbolic pictogram in the middle and small lines off of it representing the inuktitut syllables, so that the whole word could be compressed small and hidden. Amatakka is an oral language, so any amount of writing they do have is likely to be hidden and special, like japor snippets or carvings worn close to the heart.

I am NOT planning on fleshing out the entire writing system, because that would take either hours of manual labour or an understanding of how to make a database spit out the symbolic sounds in words, both of which are not possible for me right now. I MAY write some of my favourite words, after my exams. I only have experience with the celtic and romance language families, barring a spattering of Greek, my Japanese, and English as my native tongue. I'd love to see someone else try and puzzle out how to write in amatakka; this is my attempt.
