Lingsha apparently only detects the smell of rain on Yanqing and that makes me wonder about the other potential meanings.

Why specifically rain? My thoughts go in all sorts of directions in terms of analysis and theory, thinking about his element of ice or where he'd have to be around to smell like rain of all things (or I'm just thinking too deeply into it haha, but there is a reason they put this sort of stuff here ToT). And it makes me think about Jing Yuan somewhat too since his element is lightning.

I need to hear more thoughts and speculations v-v

With all of the v2.5 teasers out, here's the updated Type/Path combinations! For the new additions:

Feixiao (⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆, Wind/Hunt)

Lingsha (⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆, Fire/Abundance)

Moze (⋆⋆⋆⋆, Lightning/Hunt)

Moze is a new combination to the list, and gives us a new Hunt Bingo! Six more slots until the entire chart is full. Some fun facts:

Physical and Fire are tied for the most-represented Type at ten characters each (and, coincidentally, have the same rarity spread of four 4-stars and six 5-stars each).

Wind is the least-represented Type at only seven characters (and is tied with Imaginary for the least amount of 4-stars at a mere 2).

Destruction is the most-represented Path at 11 characters, and Preservation is the least at 5.

I know no one talks about Lingsha but can we thank this sassy Crimson Dragon?

She had to take care the trio while they all just want to get out, like stop making her job difficult! But she also worried sick about them, as well as for Yunli who is her precious child.

Meanwhile Lingsha had to think about her own past and master while hanging with Jing Yuan. As always, he's good with words so not even she can hate him... but imagine being left in the dark why you were exiled and then being plagued by rumors when you return.
